The Confirmation Of Alien Life And The Turmoil Of Religion

Oh how things have changed, about two decades ago, it was quite uncertain whether stars

other than our own sun even hosted their own planets.

However, according to Nasa, the latest count of confirmed exoplanets stands at around 3,500

and at least six of them are potential Earths.

This count will definitely go up and many researchers believe that the advancement of

technology will enable humans to discover some form of life on another planet in the

coming years But as many of us already know, this is yet more drip feeding of Disclosure

and a build up to the TRUTH about the ETs.

As many of us ufology researchers have discussed intensively, understandably, these discoveries

will kindle questions about Earths place in the greater universe.

Moreover, contact with intelligent life elsewhere in the universe will present theological and

philosophical conundrums that many religions will find deeply challenging.

This is especially true for Christianity, which primarily focuses on humankind and

teaches us that God created man in his own image, and all other animals and plants were

created for mankind.

But like most other religions, certain believers may see any ET beings as some kind of demons,

sent back to earth to punish the human race!?

The interaction with alien life is not just being discussed in the domain of philosophy

any more, oh no it has now entered into the traditional scientific realm.

Realising this possibility, Nasa, in 2014, gave $1.1m to the Center of Theological Inquiry,

an independent institution, to support an initiative to study the societal implications

of astrobiology.

Nasa was criticised by some for providing money to an organisation rooted in Christian

theology.

It does appear very much like the wolds leading space agency is trying to prime the religious

factors of this world that THE ALIENS ARE VERY REAL!

The idea of infinite space with the infinite glory of God originated with Nicholas of Cusa,

a German philosopher who kept his infinite theology within the Catholic framework.

In 2017, such philosophical thoughts have given way to practical science.

It is important to realise that three scientists in the field of exoplanet science have been

named in Time magazines annual list of the 100 most influential people these

people appear to now have become incredibly important in their area of research.

The core question would be, does Gods creation extend beyond a single planet?

If so, would the inhabitants of those planets believe in the same gods as humans do?

How could the creator of the universe deny the inhabitants of those worlds a chance to

redeem their sins?

Does that mean that God incarnated as Jesus in those worlds contrary to Bible teachings

that say that the redemption in Christ was a unique event meant for humans on Earth??

It is impossible to see how any of this is plausible, and this is just the thoughts of

one form of religion, just imagine the complications that go against the beliefs of other believers

(Islam, Hindus etc).

Could it be that science is now in a sense mocking those with religious views and beliefs,

even if it doesnt mean to?

And what will be the take on ETs when they do eventually officially introduce themselves

to the human race?

Many people of religious belief have already dismissed the ideas of life beyond planet

earth and have stated that these visitors are not extraterrestrial, but DEMONS instead.

You could make a very strong case for institutional religions surviving the discovery of alien

planets and the ensuing tussle with exotheology a term that describes theological issues

as related to extraterrestrial intelligence.

These institutions have always shown an amazing ability to remain relevant.

Whenever they encounter a new paradigm shift, they come up with interpretations from scriptures

that justify their own existence.

There is also, quite simply, something special about religion that resonates with humans

on a fundamental level, but as it has always been stated, perhaps religion was one of two

things, either (1) A wrong misinterpretation or (2) Designed to control and manipulate

the masses?

A big fear would also be that religious factors of planet earth see any ET visitors as a threat

against their beliefs and create some kind of global religious wars perhaps another

reason why NASA and the Elite keep so many secrets away from us all!

For traditional religions and religious institutions, the desire to expand their material wealth

and power has often take precedence over the spreading of theological doctrines.

This has often led to a culture of exploitation, of both people and the planet.

This perhaps explain why the Copernican revolutionor Darwinism didnt displace the religious

order in a significant way in the past.

The religious elite on Earth will derive the courage and determination to pursue their

goals from this material world even if they are convinced of the existence of multiple

universes that operate under different laws of physics.

Perhaps the ETs are back to claim their very own religion after all, there is now

evidence that we many have been created by an unknown advanced race please check

out our two articles below on these important parts of the jigsaw to this story, one of

which about Aliens reclaiming their religion made the UK papers:

The triumph of these institutions is analogous to the audacity of organisms when facing challenges

in nature.

Religious institutions possess impressive survival skills, greater than individual human

abilities.

They also have their origins in personal and emotional needs and for many, they will

continue to offer those requirements no matter what comes their way, including ET Disclosure!?

Yet, this personalised religion became a complex organism with ambitions to control society

and wealth.

A recent Pew Research Center study found that the growth of major religious groups would

outpace the rise in the religiously unaffiliated population, despite trends in the US and other

western countries, where the proportion of religiously unaffiliated people is expected

to grow.

So I guess the big question is, how could we resolve the theory of many worlds and their

many gods?

We can be certain that earthly religions will not accommodate the alien gods.

Perhaps we should turn to the astronomer Carl Sagan, who wrote in Cosmos:

Meanwhile, elsewhere there are an infinite number of other universes each with its own

God dreaming the cosmic dream.

It is said that men may not be the dreams of the Gods, but rather that the Gods are

the dreams of men.

Could it be the ET Disclosure brings a war on this planet, against those who want to

unite with our ET visitors and those that fear them and see them as a threat towards

their religious beliefs perhaps, this is one of the other areas of concern the elite

have about ET disclosure?

The other main concern being loss of control

U.I.P SUMMARY

Two of the main reasons (as stated above) why the elite do not want us to know the truth

about the ETs and that we are not alone in the Universe, are:

They do not want to lose the control over us

They fear the response from some religious factors

One of the main disagreements and arguments us guys at U.I.P see on our social media sites,

apart from the normal tin foil fat comments is the debate created by some religious folk

who believe that all UFOs and any ET beings are purely demons sent to hell to destroy

us all for our sins!

Now I am not a religious person and respect those who have their beliefs, however the

fact of the matter is that science is now confirming that we are FAR from alone in the

universe, and it is infested out there with life so how does this relate to those

that believe that this planet has one god who created us all?

With ET disclosure, comes a whole lot of rather intense conversations and unfortunately some

rather heated conflicts this is why the TRUTH needs to come sooner than later, in

order to help educate the masses and unite us all sadly not something that the

elite of this planet want or need.

Goddess Tradition Of Greece - Duration: 2:49.

The goddess's blessings are everything.

And it is very well articulated in the

Shakta tradition. Shakta is the Goddess

tradition in India. And with this

tradition that I am here, understanding

from the tradition, I am here in Greece

which is also the land of the Goddess. And

they can see the similarity between the

Indian tradition and the Greek tradition.

Only thing is the Indian tradition is a

live tradition even today. But the Greek

tradition has been a matter of

archaeology. Now people come here to, not

not for worship, but to see the

archaeological remains. But I am here to

revive the goddess energy here. So I'm

going to go to a place called Somothrace,

which is an island where this

goddess energy is very powerful. And it

was because of the goddess energy,

blessings from the goddess, that

Alexander the Great was born. Alexander's

parents went there and prayed to the

goddess. And that's where Alexander the

Great was conceived. So, now you can

understand the power of the goddess. So,

some, some day I would like to take you

there. I don't know when. But let me go

and find out for myself the energy. And

then, I will do another video on that

island and the goddesses who are still

living even today in that island.

God Bless or Goddess Bless.

Pakistan Resorting To Proxies Against India, Afghanistan: US Experts - Duration: 4:48.

Welcome to WARN, Todays News is.

Pakistan Resorting To Proxies Against India, Afghanistan: US Experts

Afghanistan's relationship with India is unacceptable to Pakistan, which is using proxies like Haqqani

network and the Taliban against its neighbours, eminent experts have told US lawmakers.

"Afghanistan's strongest regional ally is India, that is unacceptable to Pakistan.

India is an enemy...while the Afghan government is an ally in the Indian government," Seth

Jones, Director, International Security and Defense Policy Center, Rand Corporation said

during a Congressional hearing last week.

"Pakistan has resorted to proxy organisations to further its foreign policy goals both in

places like Jammu and Kashmir against the Indians and in Afghanistan and that means

support to organisations like the Haqqani Network and the Taliban, so it's a proxy war,"

Jones said in response to a question from Congressman Ted Poe.

"The Pakistani government is continuing with its policy, their strategy of strategic depth,

that it views everything through the lens of fighting India," Bill Roggio, editor of

Long War journal said during the hearing organised by the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee

on Terrorism, Non-proliferation.

"That unfortunately some of these jihadist groups that have spawned from the Pakistani

efforts to fight India to establish strategic depth in Afghanistan, it's come back to bite

them with groups like the movement in Taliban and Pakistan, and other groups which have

attacked the Pakistani state," Roggio said.

"Unfortunately, Pakistan seems unwilling to recognise this that it still while it fights

the movement in Taliban and Pakistan, it continues what other groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and

a host of other groups because they are willing to serve as Pakistan's strategic depth," he

said.

"Until the Pakistani government and leaders and military intelligence, until they come

to grips with this, this problem is going to exist for decades," Roggio said.

Poe, who chaired the Congressional hearing on Afghanistan and Pakistan said that in recent

years the US has given over 33 billion US dollars in some form of aid to Pakistan.

"Pakistan directly or indirectly supports the Haqqani Network, in theory.

That network as we mentioned earlier, has killed more Americans in the region than any

other terrorist group.

To me that is something that we should not accept.

We should not accept sending money to a country that support a terrorist group that kills

Americans.

I think there is a real problem with that," Poe said.

Jones said it's a serious problem.

"I would support as the US did last year when it has a strike against the Taliban leader,

as it did with Mullah Mansour to take that strike.

I mean, I think it's worth considering the cost and benefits, but I would applaud the

administration for targeting the Taliban leader last year," he said.

Poe alleged that Taliban is still based in Pakistan and it came as no surprise that when

a US drone strike killed the leader of the Taliban in May 2016, he was in South-western

Pakistan.

"The laundry list of evidence of Pakistan's support for terrorist goes on and on.

We remember that when Al Qaida leader and America's most wanted terrorist Osama bin

Laden was killed, he was found in Pakistan," he said.

"I believe Pakistan is playing us, they launch what they called counter-terrorism operations

in the tribal areas bordering Afghanistan, but quickly became clear they were only targeting

the Pakistani Taliban and not the Afghan Taliban," he said.

Speaking about ISIS, he said: "ISIS announced the establishment of Afghan affiliate in January

2015 and is entrenched itself in the eastern part of the country.

ISIS presence in Afghan further complicates the country's tourist landscape."

He said these fighters ended up becoming the leaders of the ISIS affiliate in Afghanistan

known as "ISIS Khorasan Province".

How the ECI Is Used - Duration: 1:52.

So, we've been talking about the Employment Cost Index

produced by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

It's one of the Principal Federal Economic Indicators, and all that really means is that

it's widely-used data on how the economy is performing.

The ECI measures changes in the cost of employees to employers over time.

So let's go over how to use the ECI.

Decision makers use the ECI to adjust pay and benefits.

In the Private Sector, Business Owners & Human Resource professionals can use the ECI to

make decisions that affect their employees.

Say the ECI shows that wages and salaries have gone up by 2 percent over the year.

Businesses can decide to give everyone a raise of 2 percent to stay competitive, or they

can decide to give a larger raise to help attract & retain quality employees.

In the Public Sector, the Federal Reserve and others use the Employment Cost Index to

gauge the health of the labor market.

Is it heating up?

Do we have a robust market with rising wages?

If so, which occupations have the fastest wage growth?

The ECI provides answers to these questions.

ECI affects so many other aspects of our way of life too: it helps in adjusting

military pay, contracts, and union pay agreements.

Plus, others such as academic researchers and financial analysts use the ECI in understanding

the labor market's ups and downs.

Now you know the importance of the ECI and how it's used.

If you are ever contacted to provide data for the ECI, we welcome your input.

If you are interested in finding out more about the ECI, and how you can use this information,

विपश्यना क्या नही है । VIPASSANA - The Code of Discipline. - Duration: 16:37.

What Vipassana is not:

It is not a rite or ritual based on blind faith.

It is neither an intellectual nor a philosophical entertainment

It is not a rest cure, a holiday, or an opportunity for socializing.

It is not an escape from the trials and tribulations of everyday life.

Then What is Vipassana ? lets find out.

It is a technique that will eradicate suffering.

It is a method of mental purification which allows one to face

life's tensions and problems in a calm, balanced way.

It is an art of living that one can use to

make positive contributions to society.

Vipassana is one of India's most ancient meditation techniques.

Long lost to humanity, it was rediscovered by Gotama the Buddha more than 2500 years ago.

The word Vipassana means seeing things as they really are.

It is the process of self- purification by self-observation.

One begins by observing the natural breath to concentrate the mind

With a sharpened awareness one proceeds to observe the changing nature of body and mind and

experiences the universal truths of impermanence, suffering and egolessness.

This truth-realization by direct experience is the process of purification.

The entire path (Dhamma) is a universal remedy for universal problems

and has nothing to do with any organized religion or sectarianism.

Vipassana meditation aims at the highest spiritual goals of total liberation and full enlightenment.

Its purpose is never simply to cure physical disease.

However, as a by-product of mental purification, many psychosomatic diseases are eradicated.

In fact, Vipassana eliminates the three causes of all unhappiness: craving, aversion and ignorance.

With continued practice, the meditation releases the tensions developed in everyday life,

opening the knots tied by the old habit of reacting in an unbalanced way to pleasant and unpleasant situations.

Although Vipassana was developed as a technique by the Buddha,

its practice is not limited to Buddhists.

There is absolutely no question of conversion.

The technique works on the simple basis that all human beings share the same problems and

a technique which can eradicate these problems will have a universal application.

For this reason, it can be freely practiced by everyone, at any time, in any place, without conflict due to

race, community or religion, and will prove equally beneficial to one and all

People from many religious denominations have experienced the benefits of Vipassana meditation,

Meditation and Self-discipline

The process of self-purification by introspection is certainly never easy--students have to work very hard at it.

By their own efforts students arrive at their own realizations; no one else can do this for them.

Therefore, the meditation will suit only those willing to work seriously and observe the discipline,

which is there for the benefit and protection of the meditators

and is an integral part of the meditation practice.

Ten days is certainly a very short time in which to penetrate the deepest levels of

the unconscious mind and learn how to eradicate the complexes lying there.

Continuity of the practice in seclusion is the secret of this technique's success

Rules and regulations have been developed keeping this practical aspect in mind.

They are not primarily for the benefit of the teacher or the course management,

nor are they negative expressions of tradition, orthodoxy or blind faith in some organized religion.

Rather, they are based on the practical experience of thousands of meditators over the years

and are both scientific and rational. Abiding by the rules creates a very conducive atmosphere for meditation; breaking them pollutes it.

A student will have to stay for the entire period of the course.

The other rules should also be carefully read and considered.

Only those who feel that they can honestly and scrupulously follow the discipline should apply for admission.

Those not prepared to make a determined effort will waste their time and,

moreover, will disturb others who wish to work seriously.

A prospective student should also understand that it would be both disadvantageous and

inadvisable to leave without finishing the course upon finding the discipline too difficult.

Likewise, it would be most unfortunate if, in spite of repeated reminders,

a student does not follow the rules and has to be asked to leave.

People with serious mental disorders have occasionally come to Vipassana courses with the

unrealistic expectation that the technique will cure or alleviate their mental problems.

Unstable interpersonal relationships and a history of various treatments

can be additional factors which make it difficult

for such people to benefit from, or even complete, a ten-day course.

Our capacity as a nonprofessional volunteer organization

makes it impossible for us to properly care for people with these backgrounds.

Although Vipassana meditation is beneficial for most people,

it is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment and

we do not recommend it for people with serious psychiatric disorders.

The foundation of the practice is sīla — moral conduct. Sīla provides a basis for the development of samādhi — concentration of mind;

and purification of the mind is achieved through paññā — the wisdom of insight.

The Precepts

All who attend a Vipassana course must conscientiously undertake

the following five precepts for the duration of the course:

to abstain from killing any being; to abstain from stealing;

to abstain from all sexual activity; to abstain from telling lies;

to abstain from all intoxicants.

There are three additional precepts which old students (that is, those who have completed a course with

S.N. Goenka or one of his assistant teachers) are expected to follow during the course:

to abstain from eating after midday;

to abstain from sensual entertainment and bodily decorations;

to abstain from using high or luxurious beds.

Old students will observe the sixth precept by having tea without milk or fruit juice at the 5 p.m. break

whereas new student may have tea with milk and some fruit.

The teacher may excuse an old student from observing this precept for health reasons.

The seventh and eighth precept will be observed by all.

Students must declare themselves willing to comply fully and

for the duration of the course with the teacher's guidance and instructions;

that is, to observe the discipline and to meditate exactly as the teacher asks, w

without ignoring any part of the instructions, nor adding anything to them.

This acceptance should be one of discrimination

and understanding, not blind submission

Only with an attitude of trust can a student work diligently and thoroughly. Such confidence in the teacher

and the technique is essential for success in meditation.

During the course it is absolutely essential that all forms of prayer, worship, or religious ceremony

— fasting, burning incense, counting beads, reciting mantras, singing and dancing, etc. — be discontinued.

All other meditation techniques and healing or spiritual practices should also be suspended.

This is not to condemn any other technique or practice,

but to give a fair trial to the technique of Vipassana in its purity.

Students are strongly advised that deliberately mixing other techniques

of meditation with Vipassana will impede and even reverse their progress.

Despite repeated warnings by the teacher, there have been cases in the past where students have intentionally mixed this

technique with a ritual or another practice, and have done themselves a great disservice

All students must observe Noble Silence from the beginning of the course until the morning of the last full day.

Noble Silence means silence of body, speech, and mind.

Any form of communication with fellow student, whether by gestures, sign language, written notes, etc., is prohibited.

Students may, however, speak with the teacher whenever necessary and they may approach the

management with any problems related to food, accommodation, health, etc.

But even these contacts should be kept to a minimum.

Students should cultivate the feeling that they are working in isolation.

Couples, married or otherwise, should not contact each other in any way during the course.

The same applies to friends, members of the same family, etc.

Physical Contact

It is important that throughout the course there be

no physical contact whatsoever between persons of the same or opposite sex.

Although physical yoga and other exercises are compatible with Vipassana

they should be suspended during the course

because proper secluded facilities are not available at the course site.

Jogging is also not permitted.

Students may exercise during rest periods by walking in the designated areas.

Religious Objects, Rosaries, Crystals, Talismans, etc.

No such items should be brought to the course site. If brought inadvertently they should be

deposited with the management for the duration of the course.

No drugs, alcohol, or other intoxicants should be brought to the site;

this also applies to tranquilizers, sleeping pills, and all other sedatives.

Those taking medicines or drugs on a doctor's prescription should notify the teacher.

For the health and comfort of all students, smoking, chewing tobacco,

and taking snuff are not permitted at the course.

It is not possible to satisfy the special food preferences and requirements of all the meditators.

Students are therefore kindly requested to make do with the simple vegetarian meals provided.

The course management endeavors to prepare a balanced, wholesome menu suitable for meditation.

If any students have been prescribed a special diet because of ill-health,

they should inform the management at the time of application.

Fasting is not permitted.

Dress should be simple, modest, and comfortable.

Tight, transparent, revealing, or otherwise striking clothing should not be worn.

(such as shorts, short skirts, tights and leggings, sleeveless or skimpy tops)

No washing machines or dryers are available, so students should bring sufficient clothing.

Small items can be hand-washed.

Bathing and laundry may be done only in the break periods and not during meditation hours.

Students must remain within the course boundaries throughout the course.

They may leave only with the specific consent of the teacher.

No outside communications is allowed before the course ends.

This includes letters, phone calls and visitors.

Cell phones, pagers, and other electronic devices must be deposited with the management until the course ends.

In case of an emergency, a friend or relative may contact the management.

The playing of musical instruments, radios, etc. is not permitted.

No reading or writing materials should be brought to the course.

Students should not distract themselves by taking notes.

The restriction on reading and writing is to emphasize the strictly practical nature of this meditation.

Recording Devices and Cameras

These may not be used except with the express permission of the teacher.

Course Finances

According to the tradition of pure Vipassana, courses are run solely on a donation basis.

Donations are accepted only from those who have completed at least one ten-day course

with S.N. Goenka or one of his assisting teachers.

Someone taking the course for the first time may give a donation on the last day of the course or any time thereafter.

Wishing to share these benefits with others, one gives a donation according to one's means and volition.

Such donations are the only source of funding for course in this tradition around the world.

There is no wealthy foundation or individual sponsoring them

Neither the teachers nor the organizers receive any kind of payment for their service.

Thus, the spread of Vipassana is carried out with purity of purpose, free from any commercialism.

Whether a donation is large or small, it should be given with the wish to help others:

'The course I have taken has been paid for through the generosity of past students;

now let me give something towards the cost of a future course, so that others may also benefit by this technique.'

To clarify the spirit behind the discipline and rules, they may be summarized as follows:

Take great care that your actions do not disturb anyone.

Take no notice of distractions caused by others.

It may be that a student cannot understand the practical reasons for one or several of the above rules.

Rather than allow negativity and doubt to develop, immediate clarification should be sought from the teacher.

It is only by taking a disciplined approach and by making maximum effort that a student

can fully grasp the practice and benefit from it.

The emphasis during the course is on work.

A golden rule is to meditate as if one were alone, with one's mind turned inward,

ignoring any inconveniences and distractions that one may encounter.

Finally, students should note that their progress in Vipassana depends solely on their own good qualities

and personal development and on five factors: earnest efforts, confidence, sincerity, health and wisdom.

May the above information help you to obtain maximum benefit from your meditation course.

We are happy to have the opportunity to serve,

and wish you peace and harmony from your experience of Vipassana.

The following timetable for the course has been designed to maintain the continuity of practice

For best results students are advised to follow it as closely as possible.

MIDLER, SALLY FIELD. >> ALL RIGHT.

YOU KNOW I'M GOING TO LIKE THIS ONE, TODAY IT IS DAY TWO OF

NATIONAL SMALL BUSINESS WEEK, CELEBRATED EVERY YEAR SINCE

1963. RECOGNIZING THE CRITICAL

CONTRIBUTIONS OF AMERICA'S ENTREPRENEURS AND SMALL BUSINESS

OWNERS. A CELEBRATION OF THE AMERICAN

DREAM. AND SEVERAL KEY ISSUES BEING

DEBATED IN WASHINGTON COULD IMPACT SMALL BUSINESSES TO NAME

A FEW, PRESIDENT TRUMP'S TAX PLAN AND THE REPUBLICANS' HEALTH

CARE BILL. JOINING ME IS THE NEW

ADMINISTRATOR OF THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, LINDA

McMAHON. WELCOME.

>> THANK YOU, STEPHANIE. GREAT TO BE HERE.

>> THANK YOU. YOU ARE OUT THIS WEEK ON THE

SMALL BUSINESS TOUR ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? >> IT IS CELEBRATING SMALL

BUSINESSES. THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 29

MILLION SMALL BUSINESSES AND ALMOST HALF OF ALL AMERICAN

EMPLOYEES ARE EMPLOYED IN SMALL BUSINESSES AND IT'S THE ENGINE

OF OUR ECONOMY, BACKBONE OF OUR ECONOMY, SO I'M VISITING

DIFFERENT BUSINESSES AND THE DISTRICTS, SBA HAS 68 DISTRICTS

AROUND THE COUNTRY SO TODAY I'M IN NEW YORK, TOMORROW I'M IN

INDIANA, THEN I'M IN DALLAS ON THURSDAY AND FRESNO ON FRIDAY.

SO IT'S A FULL WEEK. >> WE KNOW THAT SMALL BUSINESS

SENTIMENT IS UP SINCE THE ELECTION.

MANY HAVE SAID THEY WERE SORT OF STRANGLED BY THE THREAT OF

REGULATION, BUT TAXES MATTER. PRESIDENT TRUMP IS LOOKING TO

CUT CORPORATE TAXES, BUT WHEN YOU LOOK AT SMALL BUSINESSES,

WHEN YOU REALLY LOOK AT THIS BILL, IT'S SORT OF THE ULTRARICH

WHO HAVE THEIR OWN FINANCE ARMS, OWN MOM AND POP FINANCIAL

ADVISER, STOCK BROKER, BUT MOST PAY LESS THAN 15%.

SO IF YOUR AVERAGE SMALL BUSINESS OUT THERE, HOW DOES THE

NEW TAX PLAN REALLY HELP THEM? >> I CAN TELL YOU WHAT THEY'RE

TELLING ME. AND WHEN WE HAD OUR KICKOFF

YESTERDAY IN WASHINGTON, AND I HAD ABOUT 250 SMALL BUSINESSES

WE WERE TALKING TO AND WITHOUT FAIL, THEY REALLY TALKED ABOUT

WHAT A BENEFIT THE TAX REDUCTION COULD BE FOR THEM.

>> WHERE? >> PARDON ME?

IF THEY'RE ONLY PAYING 15% WHERE IS THE BENEFIT?

>> THEY ARE PAYING MORE THAN 15%.

MOST HAVE S CORPORATIONS OR LLC AND THAT PASS THROUGH IS TAXED

AT ORDINARY INCOME RATES. IF THEY HAVE THE 15%, THAT'S

GOING TO BE MORE MONEY IN THEIR POCKET AND TOLD ME WE'LL SPEND

THAT MONEY ON MARKETING DOLLARS, HIRING NEW EMPLOYEES AND ON

EXPANDING OUR BUSINESSES. >> WHEN YOU LOOK AT HEALTH CARE,

THAT'S ANOTHER ISSUE.

SMALL BUSINESSES, MANY WERE SAYING, OBAMACARE WAS TOUGH FOR

THEM, THEY COULDN'T AFFORD TO PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES.

WHEN WE LOOK AT THE NEW HEALTH CARE BILL, IT COULD REALLY COST

A LOT MORE. ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HIRE OLDER

WORKERS. NOW THAT YOU'RE GOING TO BE

SCALED BY YOUR AGE, SOME COULD HAVE TO PAY 500% MORE.

HOW DO YOU WEIGH IN ON THIS, SHOULD YOU WEIGH IN ON THIS IN

TERMS OF HEALTH CARE REFORM BECAUSE IT MATTERS SO MUCH TO

SMALL BUSINESSES? >> WELL, IT DOES MATTER.

I'LL TELL YOU, WHEN I HAVE BEEN OUT AND VISITING SMALL

BUSINESSES, IN FACT, WHEN I RAN FOR THE SENATE IN CONNECTICUT,

IN 2010, THOSE SMALL BUSINESSES WITH WOULD ACTUALLY SHOW ME

THEIR PREMIUM BILLS THAT HAD DOUBLED AND SOMETIMES TRIPLED

FROM THE YEAR BEFORE. SO I THINK THAT WE ARE GOING TO

HAVE HEALTH CARE REFORM THAT IS GOING TO BE BENEFICIAL TO SMALL

BUSINESSES. I DON'T THINK IT'S GOING TO

RAISE THEIR PREMIUMS. I THINK IT'S GOING TO REDUCE

THEIR PREMIUMS. THEY WANT TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE

INSURANCE FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES AND THEY CAN'T AFFORD TO DO IT.

>> DO WE KNOW THAT THE CURRENT BILL HAS TO CHANGE, THOUGH, TO

SATISFY THEM? WHEN I LOOK AT THE NUMBERS SMALL

BUSINESSES COULD PAY UP TO 500% MORE FOR OLDER WORKERS.

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT THE CURRENT AMENDMENTS NEED TO BE CHANGED

AGAIN, BECAUSE THAT WOULD REALLY BE DISCRIMINATORY TO OLDER

WORKERS? IT WOULD SAY TO SMALL BUSINESSES

YOU WANT TO HIRE THE YOUNG FOLKS?

>> WELL, I THINK IT REMAINS TO BE SEEN WHAT THE HEALTH CARE

BILL IS GOING TO FINALLY COME OUT TO BE.

I KNOW IT'S THE GOAL OF THE PRESIDENT CLEARLY TO MAKE IT

MUCH MORE BENEFICIAL TO SMALL BUSINESSES.

>> WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE REGULATIONS THAT MANY HAVE SAID

ARE MAKING IT HARD FOR THEIR BUSINESSES TO GROW, ARE THERE

SPECIFIC ONES THAT NEED TO BE CHANGED?

BECAUSE RIGHT NOW, IT'S THAT SENTIMENT, PEOPLE ARE EXCITED

AND PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS SAID, IF YOU WANTU WANT TO PUT A NEW REGN

I'M GOING TO NEED YOU TO GET RID OF TWO.

WHERE? WHAT IS IT THAT IS THE

ROADBLOCK? >> WHEN I'VE TALKED TO SMALL

BUSINESS OWNERS IT ISN'T NECESSARILY ANY ONE PARTICULAR

REGULATION. IT IS THE ONEROUS AMOUNT OF

PAPERWORK AND COMPLIANCE THAT HAS TO GO ON.

A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER IS OFTEN THE CEO AND THE JANITOR AND

THEY'RE DOING EVERYTHING. AND THEY DON'T HAVE A STAFF OF

ACCOUNTANTS OR LAWYERS TO COMPLY WITH THESE REGULATIONS.

AND IT'S JUST REALLY TOUGH FOR THEM.

A LOT OF TIMES THEY ARE NOT BEING G COMPLIANT BECAUSE THEY

DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE REGULATION IS.

AND I'VE TALKED TO MANY SMALL BUSINESSES FINED FOR THINGS THEY

DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT OR HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

IT WAS CALLED INSTANT FINE, PAY NOW, CORRECT IT OR PAY AGAIN.

THAT'S NOT FAIR. >> TAKE ME INSIDE THE WHITE

HOUSE. THERE'S SO MUCH CRITICISM.

EVEN IN THE LAST 24 HOURS PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS SAID A LOT

OF AGGRESSIVE THINGS, WHETHER IT'S OR THINGS THAT DIDN'T MAKE

SENSE, ANDREW JACKSON, THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES,

CALLING KIM JONG-UN A SMART COOKIE, YOU SPEND TIME IN THE

WHITE HOUSE WITH THE PRESIDENT. WHAT IS HE ACTUALLY LIKE?

BECAUSE FROM OUR PERSPECTIVE, THINGS SEEM PRETTY CRAZY RIGHT

NOW. >> WELL I'M NOT ACTUALLY IN THE

WHITE HOUSE ALL THAT OFTEN. SBA HEADQUARTERS ARE, YOU KNOW,

SEVERAL BLOCKS AWAY FROM THE WHITE HOUSE.

AND THAT'S WHERE I'M REALLY FOCUSED.

BUT YESTERDAY I WAS AT THE WHITE HOUSE SPEAKING TO COMMUNITY

BANKERS AND THEY ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THE POTENTIAL OF

REGULATORY REFORM AND SO ARE OUR SMALL BUSINESSES BECAUSE THEY'VE

NOT BEEN ABLE TO HAVE ACCESS TO CAPITAL DURING THIS TIME OF

REGULATORY REFORM -- DURING THE TIME OF DODD/FRANK.

THEIR HANDS WERE TIED AND WHAT THEY TOLD ME WAS, YOU KNOW, WE

KNOW OUR CUSTOMERS BETTER IN THE COMMUNITY.

WE KNOW WHO WE CAN TAKE A RISK ON.

OKAY. IT MAY LOOK IFFY OVER HERE BUT

HE HAS A GREAT TRACK RECORD. WHEN DODD/FRANK CAME IN THEY

COULD NOT MAKE THOSE LOANS AND IT DID IMPACT THEM.

SBA, WHAT WE DO WITH THE GUARANTEE LOAN PROGRAMS, IS TO

MAKE A LOT MORE OF THOSE LOANS AVAILABLE.

SO, YOU KNOW, WE'RE SEEING AN INCREASE IN OUR LOAN PORTFOLIO,

BUSINESSES ARE GROWING, WE -- OOINS ABOUT 56,000 PEOPLE WE

COUNSELLED LAST YEAR AND IT WAS AMAZING.

WE'RE

From Desi Bofors to BrahMos, 'Jabalpur' turning into India's top Defence Manufacturing Hub - Duration: 3:08.

Welcome to WARN, Todays News is.

From Desi Bofors to BrahMos, 'Jabalpur' turning into India's top Defence Manufacturing Hub

After Desi Bofors (Dhanush 155mm gun), Jabalpur is likely to get the manufacturing unit for

producing BrahMos, the indigenous supersonic cruise missile which is one of the world's

fastest conventional missile.

A team associated with the BrahMos project visited Jabalpur on April 25, and surveyed

some areas for feasibility of the project.

A total of around 70 to 100 hectares of land is required for the unit, sources said.

District collector Jabalpur, Mahesh Chandra Chaudhary confirmed about the visit of officials

to survey land.

"A senior officer connected with the BrahMos project visited the city.

They need 70 to 100 acre of land for setting up a BrahMos unit in Jabalpur.

They also surveyed some land but the exact spot for the construction of the factory has

not been finalised.

The final word depends on the project team and whether they find the place suitable,"

Chaudhary told TOI.

Sources meanwhile told TOI that setting up of the missile production unit at Jabalpur

is almost a certainty.

Geographically Jabalpur is located at the centre of the country and is also relatively

safe from security point of view, added sources.

Land for the project will also be finalised by next month, said sources.

What has tilted the BrahMos project in Jabalpur's favour is the presence of related units, like

ordnance factory, central ordnance depot, gun carriage factory, vehicle factory, grey

iron foundry, sources said.

The missile project if established in the district will generate around 10,000 direct

and indirect employment, said sources.

BrahMos is considered to the fastest supersonic missile that can follow and hit its target

with precision.

It is a joint venture between India and Moscow and hence derives the name Brah (Brahamaputra

and Mos- Moscow)

Senior leaders of the state are also taking a keen interest and are trying to get the

missile production unit established in Jabalpur, said sources.

Dhanush 155mm gun long-range artillery gun 'Dhanush', was showcased for the first time

at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi.

It is manufactured by Jabalpur-based Gun Carriage Factory (GCF) at a cost of about Rs 14.50

crore a piece.

Meditation Kicks Depression's Ass For Good - Duration: 15:46.

Meditation Kicks Depressions Ass For Good

By Dreamcatcher

Depression is more than just a bummer. Its a stone cold killer.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) depression is now the leading cause

of disability in the world, affecting more than 350 million people worldwide. In fact,

1 in 20 people reported having an episode of depression the previous year in a recent

global WHO survey.

Even worse, depression is also the leading cause of suicide, which has now passed up

car accidents as the number one cause of accident related deaths in the United States, according

to the American Journal of Public Health.

Depression has also become a multi-billion dollar business for pharmaceutical companies

that produce antidepressant Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) like Zoloft and

Prozac, medications that supposedly correct a chemical imbalance of neurotransmitters

like serotonin in the brains of depressed people. We have all seen the ads.

But a 2008 study at Florida State University found that there was no real scientific evidence

to support the chemical imbalance story, no matter how widespread.

Instead, researchers found that the theory has been misrepresented to the public

by corporations and the media and furthermore that much of the perceived efficacy of SSRI

antidepressant medications is due to the placebo effect.

In spite of this and other similar findings, antidepressants continue to be the most prescribed

drugs in the country.

More than 30 million Americans take them even though their therapeutic value is dubious

and they are linked to a growing number of serious side effects including, most recently,

birth defects in children of pregnant women who use them.

When it comes to the real cause of depression, many scientific studies have shown depressed

people actually have more asymmetry in their brain function than normal, especially between

the right and left frontal lobes; areas responsible for thought and emotional processing.

This asymmetry is even considered a marker, or a predictor, of depression in people and

is associated with depressive thought patterns like hopelessness.

And what causes this asymmetry? The answer is stress. Depression, like Post Traumatic

Stress Disorder (PTSD), is actually caused by brain damage from stress.

This explains why numerous aspects of modern life, including student loan debt, are linked

to depression the higher the debt, the higher the levels of stress and depression.

This opens up a can of worms about how society is structured, but it also begs the question:

If stress causes depression, can calmness reverse it?

Meditation, the age-old technique of focusing on the present in order to dwell in a state

of tranquility the ultimate stress buster.

Amazingly, a slew of recent studies have found that meditation does actually shape

the brain; it corrects damage from stress, enhances connectivity between the two lobes

and even promotes cell growth in key regions that are underdeveloped in depressed people,

like the hippocampus.

This means that meditators are changing the actual structure of their brains (see video

above), thereby rewiring their emotional reactions and thought patterns to a calmer baseline

on a physical level. This makes them more resilient to depression permanently.

Studies have shown conclusively that meditation is more effective than antidepressants in

preventing a relapse of depression, and a first-of-its-kind study last year found the

practice to be just as effective as one-on-one cognitive behavioral therapy.

But studies aside, the question remains: can meditation completely cure an illness that

is currently plaguing the entire world?

To find out, Resets Ocean Malandra contacted Spike Gillespie, author of the newly published

book: Sit. Stay. Heal. How Meditation Changed My Mind, Grew My Heart and Saved My Ass.

After suffering from depression off and on for much of her adult life, Spike decided

in December 2012 (in the midst of a particularly heavy relapse) to devote herself to meditating

every day for a year an endeavor she also recorded online by posting daily on her blog

Meditation Kicks Ass.

Three years of daily practice later, Spike remains depression free.

A resident of Austin, Texas, she now teaches a simple non-sectarian meditation technique

based on observing the breath, bringing the mind back to the present and the breath when

it wanders.

Spike says that anyone with a desire to try can get started practicing meditation to reap

its benefits. Her story is an inspiration and a testament to the healing powers of our

own mind.

Reset: Lets start at the beginning. I know you say you had bouts of depression since

your teenage years, but about what age was that? And when did you start practicing meditation?

Spike: I can only take an educated guess.

Based on the fact I started binge-drinking at fourteen, and also that adolescent body

chemistry changes began the year before, Im thinking my depression started very early

in my teen years.

I want to clarify that I cannot remember any protracted bouts of being leveled by depression

in my early teens, but also remember this was in the 70s, before we had the sort

of common usage terms for depression, self-medication, and treatment.

Plus I come from a very blue-collar background where you arent allowed to be depressed

you get your ass up and you go do what is expected of you.

My earliest recollection of meditation is these super mini-meditations like a minute

long we did in Taekwondo, which I studied for a couple of years in my mid-thirties.

That wet my appetite. I was on a road trip in the early aughts when I heard about a Vesak

Day celebration at a monastery outside of St. Louis.

I knew nothing of Vesak Day but was interested in learning about Buddhism. I went and heard

Thubten Chdrn speak and meditated with a very welcoming community and that was the

start of it.

Reset: Did you feel benefit from your early practices? If so, how?

Spike: Memory is a funny thing. Again, I dont have any keen memories of magical enlightenment.

And my practice now compared to the early days is a lot different and, I think, yields

more noticeable results.

But yes, I did benefit from early practices because for one thing, I think anyone who

sits will experience some benefit and also because the early sitting led to the sitting

I do now.

So it was foundation work, even if I had a hard time being consistent or sitting for

more than five minutes.

Those early sessions were, I think now, very much about learning what it means to set intent,

and over time my intent to dedicate myself to a serious practice took root.

Reset: Did you ever try anti-depressants? If so, what was the experience?

Spike: Yes. Very, very briefly I tried four or five different anti-depressants/ anti-anxiety

medications. The results were always, always disastrous. Prozac made me very speedy and

unable to concentrate and I lost a lot of weight.

I was also still a drinker then, which is a bad combination. Effexor I tried just once,

and immediately felt dizzy and a momentary fuzzy blindness and I wanted to puke.

Wellbutrin made me nuts. Zoloft gave me a horrific headache. Its important to factor

in that while I believe my reactions were mostly physical, there was likely some psychosomatic

stuff at play.

Reset: In researching this article I found that a lot of Buddhists and meditation practitioners

are reluctant to say that meditation cures depression, although in my opinion thats

exactly what the whole End of Suffering Bit in Buddhism is all about. Whats

your view?

Spike: I want to be careful here to speak only to my experience. And yes, in my experience,

I say with absolute certainty meditation cured my depression. Since I began a serious practice

at the end of 2012 I have not had a bout of depression.

That is astonishing. Well actually these days its not astonishing, it just is. But with

each year that passed and I am well into my third year now I was amazed. Its

like those signs you see at train yards: X Number of Days Since Our Last Accident.

Im going on a whole lot of days since I last fell into bed and could barely function

for weeks at a time.

I still have down days and last February my PTSD got triggered and I had a few very, very

hard days. But my practice saw me through that. I did not fall into the hole.

I cannot know the future, maybe one day depression will return. But it seems very unlikely to

me, barring some incredible external tragedy, that I will ever again suffer like I used

to.

Because now, even days when I suffer, I have a crystal clear awareness of impermanence

and I know my suffering will soon ease. It always does.

Reset: Science shows that meditators do effectively re-shape their brains, leading to lasting

change. But in terms of the subjective experience, can you tell me what the biggest noticeable

differences were in terms of your thought process and emotional reactions after your

now almost three years of daily practice?

Spike: I like to joke with my friends and meditation students that the biggest change

is that I have a tremendous awareness now of how messy I am, that the meditation hasnt

cured anything, simply made me extremely awake to my tics and traits and neuroses and

bad habits and how many bazillion miles away I am from even spotting the trailhead with

the sign that says, Enlightenment This Way.

The reality though, is that my awareness, and my awareness of my awareness, is a fantastic

tool.

So lets say I am on Facebook I have an extremely active wall and I am a very opinionated

person and people love to show up and argue with me sometimes. I am the absolute queen

of taking the bait.

I am a trolls online dream date. Im not just fascinated by the way certain people

feel a need to get in my face, but Im fascinated by my sometimes non-equanimity in response.

I dont always post a smartass reply but often I do. Still, I have an awareness in

my heart and mind that I am feeling angry or irritated by an offhand remark of a stranger.

This in turn leads me to step back internally and say, Hey, whats all that about?

Why are you focusing so much energy on this stupid remark when that person already forgot

making it?

When I use my awareness to examine my reactions, I can see:

Hey, this is flashing you back to being bossed around as a kid by older sisters and

an angry dad. You are reacting to the past. This defensiveness is life long and it causes

you suffering. Pay attention. Work on that.

In this way, I have become less impulsive, less fly-off-the-handle. This not only allows

me to be less of an asshole in the eyes of others (not that Im super worried about

what they think, but what I mean is I dont want to cause others to suffer), it also brings

me a growing calm that informs my life now. My definition of happiness is calmness.

Reset: I really like that definition; its the opposite of stress and depression. So

do you think meditation should be taught in school?

Spike: I like to say when I am king (because I will be a woman king) everyone is learning

martial arts and meditation. EVERYONE. It neednt be rooted in religious practice.

Mindful breathing for everyone. This past summer I led a couple of meditation camps

for kids.

I was beside myself with joy at how many of them showed up and already knew what meditation

was. I think if we included meditation in the curriculum it would help across the board

it would help with communication, concentration, compassion, all of it.

Reset: Beautiful. Ok, last question: What advice and resources would you share with

someone that is suffering from depression and wants to try meditation but is not sure

where to start?

Spike: I would say to a depressed person, Look, I totally get it. Depression is such

a beast. You feel like you cant even function so how are you going to meditate?

I suggest you just sit up in a chair, in your bed if you cant get out of bed,

or on a pillow on the floor if you want. Close your eyes.

Breathe in and breathe out and as you do just note to yourself silently I am breathing in,

I am breathing out. At first you might only be able to manage a few breaths or a minute.

Thats okay. You are not doing it wrong. You are trying, so you are doing it right.

What does "Being Intelligent" truly mean? - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato - Duration: 8:01.

(What does "Being Intelligent" truly mean? - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato) What does it mean when you use the word "intelligence?"

Well intelligence has been defined in

many many ways to me I recognize

intelligence based on the ability that

an individual myself included the amount

of ability that an individual has gained

in differentiating what is real from

what is an illusion we can say we can

say that everything is a dream

everything is an illusion however there

is what we call reality which is in

resonance with our heart and there is a

reality that we can say is being has

been artificially created and to me

intelligence is the ability to very well

differentiate the reality that is in

integrity with me that has resonance

with me and the reality that is

virtual, it's created artificially so

that my energy can be utilized for

purposes that are not in line with the

reason why I am here so I am here to

expand my intelligence which is

(What does "Being Intelligent" truly mean? - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato) again it is my way my perception of

intelligence which is the ability of

discern because the more I fine-tuned my

ability discern the less. . . the more I can

the more I am a master in navigating

through this density which is filled

with so many layers of deceptions and so

many layers of tricks and distractions I

think we are in a reality we are

in reality within the reality I think we

are in like in a bubble right now which

is so filled or with deceiving

informations and these deceiving

informations are our tools to achieve

higher level of intelligence higher

level of discernment and so we go

through our life and we feel the

contrast we tune in with our resonance

and with our heart and we identify what

is in integrity with our heart and what

is not so we develop a better and better

(What does "Being Intelligent" truly mean? - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato) level of discernment and and that's one

of the biggest value of this earthly

experience so basically we are bombarded

with so much deception and we have to

kind of figure out what is real what is

not you know so we have we are talking

about responsibility what are real

responsibility and what are

responsibilities that are really

kind of sucking our energy and they have

an agenda we're learning things

from school which are the things that we

learn from school where we we can own

and use it at our advantage or which one

are the one where do we need we need to

let go the information that comes from News

(What does "Being Intelligent" truly mean? - "Walking The Path" with Marco Missinato) which are the which one are sponsoring

in artificially created reality in order

to get us caught up more and more in the

game and which are the information that

are sincere and real and come from an

integrity with our heart so the whole

spectrums of information that we gather

in every daily life are an opportunity

to increase to expand our level of

intelligence which is already there it's

just momentarily dormant and by living

fully we wake it up more and more

everyday we wake the intelligence within

ourself up and up and it's getting more

and more difficult for these artificial

series of deceptions to catch our

attention and so we disempower we

disengage what doesn't belong to us and

we engage more and more too in what does

belong to us so that's for me is

intelligence

Warhammer 40000 Dawn Of War 3 - Mission 06 A Dangerous Proposal - Duration: 46:18.

Welcome to the sixth mission in Warhammer 40000 Dawn Of War III Walkthrough.

In this mission we have to draw out the Gabriel Angelos out of his keep.

The mission is fairly easy, just use your shields properly and stay out from the big fights.

Just use your Snipers with caution, they chew Marine infantry with ease.

Once you reach the keep, the mission is straightforward, just don't forget about anti-vehicle units.

Space Marines won't do the harm here, they are outmatched here.

Very easy mission, dunno how is it possible to fail it.
