How To Tell A Joke In English - "Flat Tire Joke" - Duration: 2:46.

Hi Guys!

Everyone should be able to tell a few jokes in their native language and also in English.

This is a simple joke about four students and it's what they call a "clean joke".

It doesn't mention death or sex or religion or anything controversial.

It doesn't use any swear words or curse words.

Those are words you would use in front of friends but in front of your Grandma.

There are four students who have been studying for an exam.

And they think they really know the material, so the night before the exam, they decide

they'll go out to a nightclub and have a couple of drinks and relax.

Well, they end up staying out late and they miss the exam.

So they decide they will go to the professor and tell the professor that their car had

a flat tire and they could not make it to school for the exam.

The professor says "That's OK, I'll let you take the exam again."

So the professor puts the four students each into a separate room and give them a test

booklet.

And the professor says, "You may begin the test."

The students open up the first page and it is an easy question worth five (5) points

out of the 100.

Each one of them can answer it.

They answer the question.

They turn the test booklet to the second page and the question is worth ninety-five (95

points): "Which tire on the car was flat?".

That is the cleanest joke I know, You can see lots of other jokes in a book I wrote

especially for English as a Second Language learners.

English that you can learn and tell.

Learning to tell jokes is great practice for English plus you might be able to get a laugh

from somebody else.

Mr Isaac Nathaniel DSouza, 19, has been mad about trains since the age of three.

So it seems apt that he not only hand-painted and decorated his room to be a train city - a labour of love taking two years - but that he also works in the sector he is passionate about.

As one of the youngest service ambassadors for SMRT, he does crowd control and attends to customer queries and feedback.

The ardent railway fan hopes to share his passion with more people, as well as open a railway cafe where customers can enjoy their desserts while watching trains go past.
