Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) for the all-new 2017 Mazda CX-5 🚗 🚗 🚗 - Duration: 10:38.

Hi there my name is Dennis

I work at Signature Mazda in the Richmond Auto Mall

Today I will be taking you through a PDI

A PDI stands for pre delivery inspection

and the reason why we do this

is to make sure that before brand new

vehicles are brought to you the customer

we'd make sure that everything is

working in fine condition

so right now we're about to check the interior of the vehicle

generally the inspection is everything

visual for trim panels and all the

accessories and functions inside

ok so right now I'm going to turn on the heated seats and heated steering wheel

and the heated rear glass to make sure

they're all warming up so right now what

I usually do is I'm going to check usually

from the top to bottom and I'm going to

now check the vanity mirror so one

on check the map light just gonna click

the passenger side make sure they're off make sure the

dome light and the center turns on

make light comes on according to the

door lock and make sure it turns off make sure the

sunglasses holder operates properly

hold the moon roof back

make sure the rear view mirror operates

check if the telescoping gauge on the

steering wheel works so right now I'm going

to check if the side mirrors operate properly

make sure the window lock switch work

which means it won't allow the other windows to operate

make sure the rear windows go back down and up

passenger side goes up and down

ok so now I usually check the infotainment

so this is our Mazda Connect infotainment system

usually for the PDI what we first check

is basically any of the accessories

and then change the clock and make sure that all the sound

systems all centered and the clock is usually

daylight savings time and adjust it

we also like to check that the door locks functions

are on walk away lock

the walk away lock is pretty much once you walk away

the vehicle with the key fob

like maybe five steps it'll

lock itself afterwards

this 3-point flash turn signal is basically when you turn left

it'll do it at least three times, not just once

so the person next to you can see that you're turning

and this stuff is just the timers inside the dome

while you leave the car so nothing stays on

we also check the software version on this vehicle

this is up-to-date if it wasn't I would

update it

usually when I'm doing my walk-around

I'm always checking to confirm that

all speakers are operating properly

and we also like to check the bluetooth connectivity

and usually we like to connect our phone

we'd always make a call to make sure that the phone calls working

so right now I'm checking the inner door handle

make sure it opens

making sure the child lock is over and

it doesn't open from the inside and I'm

going to be looking outside turn it off

make sure the window goes up and down

making sure the speaker and music

comes out of this little good and thats pretty much it

so going to the rear making sure the heated glass

operates throughout the whole window

making sure the hatch open button works

there and make sure the automatic pinch

feature operates properly

ok good

and check underneath and checking

the spare and the sub for the jack tools

so now we're going to check the under hood

generally for the under hood inspection

we're just going to fill the wiper washer fluid

checking the engine oil level

looks good make sure radiator cap is

on checking the radiator fluid reservoir

and anything leaks check the brake fluid

its really clear kinda hard to tell

make sure the battery clamps are tight

inspecting if the engine air filter is in there

taking off the engine cover and making

sure if any wires are missing or any scratch or damage

so basically all PDI's come with this battery test

it just checks the whole electrical system

so basically now I'm going to install the hub

cap set the tire pressure to

specification install the wheel lock key

and inspect the rim for any visual damage

usually the tire pressures are set very high around 50 psi for

transportation so they don't deflate on the way

so they're like hard

I'm going to torque the wheels too

I'm going to check the engine oil pan

making sure there are none visible leaks

very good expect the drain plug

gotta make sure it's tight checking the

transmission pan for any fluid leaks looks okay

checking the transmission drain plug drain plug looks okay

make sure the oil filter is tight

drain plug for the radiator is not

loose for any visible leaks from the

transfer case or anything like that

cv axle boots look okay they're not torn

coolant is good belts are okay belts are lined up and

they're there for the compressor and the

water pump and now check the tires for

any bruising or any cuts

looks okay and we're going to move to the

center checking the catalytic converter

make sure all the hangers are in

make sure all the covers are properly installed any looseness

looks good inspecting the exhaust for any cracks or damage

and the bumper for any cuts or

damages and now we're going to put in

the SD card for the navigation we're

going to go on a road test

now I'm going to check the cruise control making sure

the tiptronic and automatic manual transmission

works check the navigation also see the

sport mode operates properly and if the compass works

so right now we're checking if the cruise control turns on and if it

accelerates which it is and now we're seeing if

it decelerate great making sure it turns

off with a brake switch this does

resuming okay looks good

now we're going to check the tiptronic

making sure the vehicle down shifts

and once we make it around this corner we're

going to try sport mode

now I'm going to add a new destination

we're going to put Signature Mazda

in the Richmond Auto mall as the home address

and them from here after we're done our whole inspection

we'll just park it against the wall

they'll have it to detail when someone sells this vehicle

and that's the end of our PDI now the

cx-5 is going to go to detail for delivery

6 Simple Exercises for Perfect Buttocks, Thighs, and Legs

Set 1: Lunges with jump-changing legs

Lunge forward with your left leg, holding your back straight and keeping your right

knee lower than the left one.

Jump up as high as you can, helping yourself with your arms.

Change your legs in the air, landing in a lunge position with your right leg.

Begin with 10-12 reps, changing your leg each time before landing.

Gradually increase the number of reps to 30.

Set 2: Jump crunches

Bend your knees a little, and draw your arms back.

Jump straight up, trying to lift your knees as high as you can.

This exercise requires more effort than the others.

It�s difficult to do 30 jumps on your first attempt, so it�s better to divide them into

3 sets of 10 reps with a one-minute rest in between.

Set 3: Leg raise on the side (for the outer thigh)

Lie on your right side, and prop yourself on your hand.

Put your left hand firmly on the floor in front of you.

Slowly raise and lower your right leg without sharp or high movements.

Repeat for your other leg.

This exercise is useful both for thighs and buttocks.

Set 4: Leg raise on the side (for the inner thigh)

Lie on your right side, and prop yourself on your hand.

Bend your left leg, and put it firmly on the floor in front of you, keeping it still with

your left hand.

Slowly raise and lower your right leg without sharp or high movements.

Repeat this set for your other leg as well.

Set 5: Dumbbell lunges

Keep your back straight with your hands along your sides.

Still keeping straight, do reverse lunges (step back) with your right leg, and then

your left one.

Try making the lunge deep, bending your leg at a right angle.

You can use 17 fl. oz (0.5 L) bottles instead of dumbbells.

Set 6: Sidelong bows with a dumbbell

Put your left hand on your waist whilst holding the dumbbell in your right.

Step left, bow down with a straight back, and turn your torso in line with your right

leg.

Touch your left ankle with your right hand, keeping your right leg straight and your left

one bent at the knee.

Repeat for the other side using a 17 fl. oz bottle instead of a dumbbell, if necessary.
