WBZ Morning Forecast For May 6 - Duration: 3:28.
KEEPING AN EYE ON THE WET
WEATHER THAT WILL CONTINUE TO
MUDDY UP YOUR YARD.
WE HAD A LOT OF RAIN YESTERDAY.
YES, WE HAD 1 TO 2 INCHES
IN MANY LOCATIONS.
I LOVE THAT NAME, THUNDER
SNOW.
THAT IS AWESOME.
IT LOOKS LIKE WE WILL HAVE HALF
AN INCH TO AN INCH OF RAIN YET
AGAIN TODAY IN MASSACHUSETTS.
THERE WILL BE SCATTERED
SHOWERS.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR NICE,
WARM WEATHER LIKE WE HAD FOR
THREE OR FOUR DAYS IN IN MONTH
OF APRIL WHERE TEMPERATURES
WERE 75, 85, IT DOESN'T LOOK
LIKE IT WILL HAPPEN THIS WEEK.
THE WARM WEATHER IS STUCK IN A
WEATHER BLOCK WEST OF US.
AT THE KENTUCKY DERBY THEY WILL
HAVE WET WEATHER TODAY BUT IT
IS HAPPENING THIS MORNING.
THIS BATCH OF SHOWERS WILL COME
DOWN ACROSS LOUISVILLE AND
SHOULD BE OFF TO THE SOUTHEAST
AND LONG GONE BEFORE THE DERBY
STARTS LATE IN THE DAY.
IT IS CERTAINLY GOING TO BE
WET THERE THIS MORNING WITH
THOSE SHOWERS.
WE WILL BE WET, AS WELL.
WE HAVE THIS WARM FRONT NEAR
BOSTON, JUST TO THE SOUTH.
WE HAVE A SOUTHEAST BREEZE.
IN FACT THE WIND IS BRISK ON
PARTS OF THE CAPE WHILE MOST OF
THE REST OF THE REGION HAS NO
WIND AT ALL.
NORTH OF THE WARM FRONT IS
WHERE MOST OF THE FOG EXISTS.
HOPEFULLY IT WILL THIN OUT AS
WE GO THROUGH THE DAY.
AS THIS WARM FRONT LIFTS TO THE
NORTH A LITTLE BIT THIS OTHER
FRONT PIVOTS AROUND.
THIS OTHER BATCH OF HEAVY RAIN
TO THE SOUTH IS COMING ON UP.
IT IS CLOSER TO THE SOUTH
COAST.
IT IS POINTED MAINLY TOWARD
SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS
RIGHT THERE.
YOU CAN SEE THE YELLOWS AND
REDS.
IT WILL POUR DOWN THERE FOR A
WHILE.
ELSEWHERE THERE WILL BE
SCATTERED PASSING SHOWER,
BRIEF DOWNPOURS IN STOTTS.
THE RAIN WILL MOVE OFF TO THE
NORTHEAST.
TEMPERATURES GOING UP TO 60 TO
65 IN THE MASS PIKE AREA SOUTH.
WHETHER IT GETS THAT WARM
ACROSS NORTHERN MASSACHUSETTS
REMAINS TO BE SEEN.
UPPER 50s TO NEAR 60 LATER THIS
AFTERNOON.
DURING THIS AFTERNOON A FEW
PATCHES OF SHOWERS WILL COME UP
ACROSS THE AREA.
WE WILL BE UNDER THE GUN HERE
FOR RAIN FOR THE DAY.
THEN IT LOOKS LIKE TONIGHT WE
MAY PARTIALLY CLEAR.
AND TEMPERATURES WILL FALL DOWN
TO THE 50s.
PERHAPS SOME UPPER 40s BY
DAYBREAK.
TOMORROW MORNING IT LOOKS LIKE
WE WILL START OFF WITH SOME
SUNSHINE.
THEN DURING THE DAY SOME CLOUDS
WILL DEVELOP.
THE BEST CHANCE OF A SHOWER
LATER TOMORROW WILL BE OVER
SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS AS
ANOTHER IMPULSE GOES BY.
IT IS THE TIMING OF THE
IMPULSES AND THE PRECISE
TRACKING OF THE IMPULSES WILL
DETERMINE WHO GETS THE RAIN AND
WHO DOESN'T.
BASICALLY I HAVE TO SAY IT WILL
BE UNSETTLED FOR THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS.
IT WON'T BE THAT WARM.
IT WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE 60s IN
MASS PIKE SOUTHWARD TODAY BUT
COOLER TO THE NORTH.
EVERYBODY GETS CLOSE TO THE MID
60s TOMORROW AND THE SUN IS
OUT.
A COUPLE SHOWERS EARLY MONDAY,
THEN IT TURNS PARTLY SUNNY.
MUCH OF MONDAY AFTERNOON TO
EARLY TUESDAY OKAY.
IN FACT, IT WILL BE CLEAR
MONDAY NIGHT, MAYBE STARTING
OUT IN THE 35 TO 40 RANGE
TUESDAY MORNING.
THAT IS PRETTY COLD.
THEN WE WILL HAVE SHOWERS

New territory for the BMW M4 DTM - BMW Motorsport. - Duration: 2:04.
Timo, I saw that you scraped off the four Rings from your chest
and you now wear the BMW roundel. - I'm proud in any case.
Today I thought: I could suggest to Timo Scheider driving my Yellow Beast in Hockenheim.
And believe it or not: I would even sit next to you.
We have a deal.
Put the winter tyres on, I have a surprise for you, man!
This is amazing. As in the old days, but even better.
This is all quite cool here...
but I will show you real rallycross now. - What???
Are you crazy? What are you doing?
Do you make it out of the car, old man?
I have to check whether the splitter is still okay…
You did all that with this beautiful car!
Of course, you saw that it worked out!
This is how to let a DTM car fly.
I really thought that you'd go crazy now. - But did you see how much grip the car had?
Thank you for the challenge.

Papantonio: Major Social Media Platforms Promoting Violence For Big Cash - Duration: 8:44.
By now most people are familiar with the murder of 74 year old Robert Godwin.
The Cleveland resident Steve Stevens murdered Godwin last month and proceeded to post a
video of the murder on Facebook where it remained for more than two hours before being taken
down.
This case has reignited the debate about the legal and ethical responsibilities of social
media sites for preventing violent content from spreading.
While sites like Facebook have been sued in the past for failing to prevent the proliferation
of graphic content, these cases are nearly impossible to win.
Social media sites are protected by the 1996 Communications Decency Act which states that
companies can't be held liable for the graphic content of their users.
Here to discuss this case further is Sarah Roberts, a professor of information technology
at UCLA.
Sarah, do you think this specific case exposed a major flaw in how content is moderated by
Facebook, or is it just an aspect of our modern socially connected world that we simply have
to accept and we can't do anything about?
What's your take?
My take is that indeed this is a major downside of the social media economy in which most
of us are engaged on a daily basis at this point.
I've been looking at this for seven years.
I'd been online for over 20 years myself.
As the users and number of people engage in social media have exponentially increased,
so too have the potential for people to use the platforms for all kinds of human self-expression,
including the very worse kind, and that's what we've seen with this case.
Can you explain how the content moderation process works at Facebook?
If a violent crime is posted, how is it posted on the site?
How does the process work?
That's what I think most people are wanting.
Is any gatekeeper?
Does somebody say, "Gee whiz, we can't allow this to go out."
Tell us about the process.
One of the things that this case has done in a tragic way is brought to light this very
issue of the question of moderation.
In fact, contrary to what many people believe, that there are computers and algorithms that
engage on a large scale with all the content that goes up on social media websites.
It's actually really not true at all.
In fact, not only is it not all computation that goes to adjudicating the content on a
site, there are legions of human beings around the world who look at this material and make
decisions about it.
The other piece is that the volume is so great and enormous that even with computers engaged
in that process to a certain extent, which they are, all of that content cannot possibly
be reviewed before it goes up.
What ends up happening on Facebook, on Instagram, on Twitter, on any number of platforms that
people use, is that these platforms are essentially empty vessels and rely on user generated content
to fill them.
People fill up the content in volumes, in droves, it goes up online and then it's incumbent
upon the very same users, people like you and me, to see something and alert the platform
in most cases.
All the platform is doing is looking at the metrics.
They're saying a numbers are going up.
They're really not paying any attention until somebody says, "You've got to take this down.
This isn't right."
We think that there's some infrastructure to oversee this, but as you point out, there
really is not much of an infrastructure at all when it comes right down to it.
This video was reportedly on the site for more than two hours.
Do you think that more human curators could've gotten the video taken down sooner had there
been a system in place?
To the point about the infrastructure, there is infrastructure and there are human beings
working diligently on this issue.
It's actually a full-time job for a lot of people and it's one that has it's own serious
repercussions, as you can imagine.
The issue is one again of scope and scale.
What we're actually talking about is finding a needle in a haystack.
Just to give you an idea of what we're talking about here, in 2014 YouTube released a statistic
about the volume of material they received and it was something like for every minute
of every day that the platform is live it receives 100 hours of video uploaded to the
site.
What happens is there's just no way for the platforms to review and look at that volume
of content.
I think you pointed out in the beginning of your comments that platforms are largely immune
from being prosecuted for transmitting this kind of material under that 1996 telecommunications
law.
What ends up happening is basically they get all of the reward and very little of the responsibility
for what they're transmitting.
There is another side to it though isn't there?
If we start tampering with this too much then the other extreme is that anytime you start
tampering we're going to run in the risk of are we tampering too much?
Are we closing too much down?
Is there too much censorship?
Isn't that kind of the balancing part of this whole thing?
We're kind of right on that edge.
How do we find that sweet spot?
What's your take on that?
You're absolutely right that people are very concerned, and rightly so, about maintaining
their ability to express themselves on these platforms.
One thing that we have to keep in mind is that these platforms are a private entities.
They're for profit enterprises.
They're actually not the public square.
They're not the commons that people actually want them to be and need them to be, and we've
seen them come to prominence.
It's no coincidence as we see a shuttering of the public's fear, a closing down of those
spaces.
When we think about this notion of free speech in these arenas it's less like the public
square.
It's more like the private shopping mall.
When they don't like a particular kind of speech they're actually incredibly empowered
to shut it down and they do so already all over the world, in places like Turkey and
elsewhere.
Lately Facebook has allowed the block whatever content they see fit.
I mean isn't that the quick answer here?
I mean it is a private enterprise.
This is not like our public airways.
It's not part of the public commons, as you say.
this is because of that they do have a lot of control.
They can shut down what they want, so with that shouldn't we put a higher standard on
them to do a better job?
I know, look, it's all about profit and I recognize the numbers are extraordinary, but
with those extraordinary profits and extraordinary numbers comes an extraordinary responsibility.
That responsibility is to get ahead of this.
Do you ever see them really getting ahead of this problem Sarah?
Mike, I appreciate you highlighting this issue because one of the most important pressure
levels on firms like this is the court of public opinion, and this horrible tragedy
in Cleveland has put people in the position of asking Facebook and other platforms just
what do you intend to do to protect our rights to express ourselves while protecting people's
rights to safety and to keep violence like this off the platforms?
Because they're largely immune in terms of the court of law and in other ways, this is
one of the few places where pressure can be applied.
I think through that pressure the firms will ask themselves how can we do better.
Unfortunately in the case of Facebook the forward facing, public facing side of that
really is in acknowledging this problem significantly and hasn't really satisfied the public in
that regard to date.
In about 30 second Sarah, I've been an attorney for 35 years.
I've seen the ways that law evolves, the ways the good lawyers find ways to solve these
problems.
Do you see them making an end road?
Do you see lawyers making any end roads to solve this problem with the 1996 act?
It's certainly put it on the map.
It's put this issue on notice.
I mean one thing I've been thinking about in the fallout of this horrible case is as
that material stayed up, the murder of this senior citizen in Cleveland stayed up for
two hours, we know that people viewed it.
Thousands of people viewed it.
Where are those people and what harm has been done to them by perhaps coming across this
material quite innocently without knowing what they were going to see and being exposed
to that?
What about their harm?
That's one way I'm thinking.
From a legal perspective, is there something to that?
That's also the way I see into it also Sarah.
Thank you for joining me.
Thank you for your work out there.
I appreciate you.
Thank you.

How to Get rid of Blackheads | Natural Home Remedies for Blackheads - Duration: 4:58.
Blackheads are small yellowish or black bumps that appear on your face and nose.
Blackhead occurs when your pores becomes clogged by oil and dead skin cells.
Since these clogged pores are above the skin and because of exposure to air they oxidizes
which turn them black.
Blackheads are considered as first phase of acne because if bacteria attacks that pores
blackheads will start turning into pimples.
In this video we have explained five homemade remedies recommended medical treatments and
some precautions.
1: Egg's white: Egg's white tightens skin and minimize pores
which not only removes current blackheads but also prevents chances of future blackheads.
Egg's white is rich in protein which provides skin toning properties and will give you a
wrinkle free skin.
Therefore it is considered as best for oily skin.
(How to use).
-first Wash your face and then pat dry it.
-Use a tissue or dip your finger in egg's white and gently apply it on your face.
-Wait till it becomes dry.
-Apply a second layer of egg's white over the dried one in the same way.
-After it becomes fully dry rinse off and pat dry with a clean towel.
2: Honey: Honey is antiseptic and antibacterial which
removes germs that causes blackheads.
Honey pulls out dirt from your open pores tightens pores and will repair your skin effectively.
(How to use).
-Take 2 to 3 teaspoons of honey in a pan and place it on a hot water till it warms up.
-let it cool down a little bit and then rub on your blackheads.
-wait for about 10 minutes and then wash your face with wet cloth.
-Blackheads will be glued to honey mask and will be pulled out easily.
(Honey mixed with other products).
(with Milk).
You can repeat the same above mentioned method by mixing honey with milk.
Lactic acid found in milk keeps your skin soft and supple.
(With cinnamon).
Cinnamon is anti-bacterial powder that effectively removes blackheads.
It improves blood circulation which gives smooth healthy complexion.
Honey also has antibacterial properties while cinnamon heals flaky skin and often used as
skin smoothing agent.
(How to use).
-Mix two teaspoons of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon.
-Make a paste and gently apply on your Blackheads.
-leave it for almost 10 minutes and then rinse off your face.
-Apply moisturizer to have your natural skin balanced.
3:Clay mask: A clay mask is very useful for pulling out
oils or residue from your pores.
It dries out oily pores and gives skin a healthy and toned look.
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is a type of vinegar available in the market that will be used
in this method.
How to use.
-Mix 1 tablespoon of powdered clay with 1 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar (or water
if ACV is not available).
-make a paste without lumps in it.
-Apply it on your face particularly areas having blackheads.
-leave it for almost 15 minutes and then wash with lukewarm water.
Use this method for two or three times in a week.
4: Oatmeal and yogurt: Oatmeal is a nutrient rich grain which is
used as skin cleansing and exfoliating agent.
Oatmeal tightens skin pores.
Lactic acid found in yogurt keeps the skin soft.
How to use.
-Cook some oatmeal in water and let them cool at room temperature.
-Mix three tablespoon of yogurt with two tablespoon of oatmeal to form a mask.
-Apply this mask gently on your blackheads and leave for almost 10 minutes.
-Rinse off with lukewarm water.
you can also use 1 tablespoon of lemon juice for more effectiveness.
5: Turmeric and Mint: It is considered as one of the best homemade
remedy for blackheads.
Turmeric is anti-inflammatory agent which not only eliminates acne but also used to
clean dirty pores on skin.
How to use.
-take 2 tablespoons of Turmeric powder and 3 tablespoons of mint juice and form a paste.
-you can add more or less of these two according to your need.
-Apply this paste all over your face and blackheads and leave for 10 minutes.
-Wash with lukewarm water.
Precautions: o Don't use all these blackheads removing
methods at the same time.
Use maximum of 2 methods at a time and wait for at least 10 days to see the results.
o If your skin becomes burning or red don't use that method.
Redness or burning means your skin is too sensitive.
o If blackheads remains there or skin not showing any improvements better to see a dermatologist.
There are also some other methods to Exfoliate your skin to clean pores which will ultimately
prevent blackheads like using Baking soda lemon juice Epsom salt etc which will be covered
in a separate video.
You can also use other medical or topical treatments besides these homemade remedies
like steam opening your pores doing facial using prescribed medicines using a comedones
extractor etc.
If you can find the solution via homemade remedies don't go for medical treatments.
