Hey guys, welcome back.
Hello to you new people too.
Today I'm bringing you a what's new in cruelty free beauty.
First up, there's a new Indie company called the Crow and the Pebble.
They're going to be doing all kinds of make-up inspired by Literature.
The first collection is based off of Good Omens, by Terry Pratchett.
Next up for all of you perfume lovers out there, Deconstructing Eden is releasing their
new collection on May 4th.
They have a lot of interesting perfume scents, but the one that caught my attention is Poppy.
The notes for Poppy are sweet nectar, cherries, spring berries, tulips, bourbon vanilla and
tonka bean.
Another one that caught my eye is called Crave, and it's cinnamon, vanilla, and musk.
I'm kind of interested in both of those two scents.
Aromaleigh's Goddess of the Month is Conventina, which is a beautiful warm purple with a strong
turquoise blue shift.
It looks like they also launched a five new blush shades recently.
The one that I'm particularly interested in, is called Blandina, it's a nude pink.
It's the type of color that I feel like, if you don't know what blush to wear, or you
just want a really simple look, it looks like it would be great to throw on for that.
I'm probably going to pick that up.
Lunatick Cosmetic Labs has come out with a multi-purpose contour palette for deep skin.
It looks amazing.
If you haven't seen their original contour palette, which is truly multi-purpose, this
is what it looks like.
You can use this for eyeshadow, blush, contoured to fill in your brows, highlighting.
It's amazing.
I actually have two of the colors popped out, because I like to keep them in one of my little
palettes for travel.
I popped out these two shades right here, because these are the two that I use the most.
I am really excited by the fact that they're putting out one for deep skin.
I think it looks awesome.
The packaging, as you can tell, is going to be amazing, because it looks very similar
to this.
It's going to be green, where this one is purple.
If you are looking for a truly multi-purpose palette that you can use for eyeshadow, you
can use for blush, you can use for everything on your face, check out this palette.
Next up, Milani just launched four different blush sets for summer.
They look like they're a mélange of different colors, they're very pretty.
They're up on milanicosmetics.com.
Urban Decay is launching what looks to be a pink and peach blush and highlighting palette.
I think it's going to be an ulta exclusive, and it's probably going to be around in early
June.
The colors look really great.
There's a color called Peroxide, which is like this, sort of baby-like pink.
I'm kind of interested in seeing swatches to see how they look.
Urban Decay is also launching the Naked Skin Shape Shifter Palettes.
These palettes look really cool, because they are three-in-one multi-purpose palettes.
You have a cream side and a powder side.
You have corresponding highlighting, color correcting, and contouring shades.
They have a light medium and a medium dark, which, I think that will cover a wide variety
of skin tones.
I like that it's not just like a highlight and contour palette.
I like that they talk about color correcting.
Again, I haven't seen swatches of it, but I'm looking forward to seeing them, because
it looks really cool.
I also really like the fact that it looks really small.
It looks like it's no bigger than one of the Naked 1 or Naked 2 palettes.
It looks like very, like, slender, perfect for travel.
It may even be smaller than these palettes.
I was really impressed by the mix.
I love the fact that the creams and the palettes, the creams and the powders are separated,
so they each have their own side, so that you're not going to have mixing.
That's one thing I always hate in a palette.
I hate it when you have a cream product right next to a powder product, and then they mix,
because it's gross.
Ugh.
The Shade Shifter Palettes are supposed to be out mid-May.
So in two weeks or less.
Violet Voss is launching a Rose Gold highlighter palette on May 4th.
It's going to be here in like a minute.
Like really, really soon.
Here, swatches on three different skin tones.
It looks pretty.
I feel like we are drowning in highlighters, because [inaudible 00:03:44] the colors just
launched, the six highlighters, here they are on different skin tones.
Again, they look really pretty.
The Dose of Colors highlighters are called the Supreme Glow Highlighters.
The swatches make them look lovely.
If you were in the market for a highlighter, these may be ones for you to check out.
My favorite highlighter by Dose of Colors is still their mineralized baked highlighter,
which is called Pearl Dust.
This is Pearl Dust right here.
It is basically like an iridescent white-pink.
I'll swatch it on my hand for you.
See that?
If I put it on my finger, you can probably see.
It's a really, really good highlighter for pale skin.
Especially if you want a pale cool highlighter.
This is it.
Last but not least, the Black Moon Cosmetics, a Full Moon Palette will be launching soon.
The brand finally mentioned that it's going to be an all mattes palette with eight different
eyeshadows.
I'm really curious to see swatches of this.
It may be a palette that I buy.
I do own a couple of the Black Moon Cosmetics products, and I love them.
I own two of the Eyedusts and one of their lipsticks.
All of them are really nice.
The Eyedusts are kind of similar to the liquid Moon Dust from Urban Decay, or the Stila Cosmetics
Magnificent Metals liquid glitter.
They're basically that sort of multi-chrome effect.
I really like them, they're a lot of fun to play with.
I kind of feel like this all matte palette is probably going to go really well with their
liquid eyeshadows.
