Today we will discuss about what is the after care for Hair Transplant

Hair Transplant is very delicate procedure you need to follow after care procedure very

strictly to achieve the best possible result

first do normal saline spray every hour during the day time

and two to three times at night normal saline spray keep the area clean

moist reduce sketing most important it will provide energy to garft survival

and healing of the scalp next sleep with up right position hold in your

head in safe position to prevent graft from contact

it is very crucial to avoid contact of graft just five days

from six post operative day onwards third keep your finger aways from healing

scar you may feel itching scretching in the implanted area

next remove the dressing of donor area from the next day

apply antiseptic ointment over donor area for three days

no to the recepient area next wash your head with genetally thoroughly

advise by your doctor fourth until the steps cleared completely

next keep bandage of forehead for five days to

prevent the swelling to coming down use cold compressing and fingure massage

on forehead it will help to reduce swelling by

drain fluid on the sides avoid the expose of

excessive heat cold and sweat for at least five days

if you experience any severe pain bleeding or infection contact

your surgeon immediately you can resume your normal

daily activities from next day onwards but limit the activities like

jimming jogging cycling and sport at least four week

do not jim at least four week by scalp is heal completely

avoid alocohol for first five days because it

interfear with blood supply and blood supply is very crucial

for growth of hair and healing of the scalp avoid smoking

for first one month because it interfear with blood supply

next avoid strong sun light for at leat one month it may affect

healing of your implanted hair and graft survival and it may cause the pigmentation if the graft

is extracted from the beard area do not use power shower

do not use hair dye do not use hair product you can start hair roll after three week of

procedure you can brush your hair after fifteen days

by the start grafts are implence you can do haircut or

hair dye after three week of procedure consume healthy

diet and drink adiquate water take hair supplementry

medicines and procedures like PRP heal light therapy

as advice by your doctor keep regular follow with your consultant
