Proposed U.S. laptop ban could hit global aviation industry - Duration: 1:02.

The United States is likely to expand its ban on laptops onboard commercial aircraft,

…and it could affect more than 350 flights a day from Europe to the U.S.

The Trump Administration could target some European countries in its plan to prevent

passengers from bringing any large electronic devices into the cabin, …two months after

introducing the rule on eight countries including the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

Details on the expanded rules are not yet clear, but the airline industry is preparing

for the worst.

Four U.S. airlines, which account for nearly 60 percent of all non-stop flights from Europe

to the U.S., could take a serious hit.

The U.S. tourism industry is also at risk, as travelers from Europe make up 40 percent

of all overseas visitors to America.

The International Air Transport Association has warned that expanding the ban to Europe

would be misguided, and that it is not sustainable in the long run.

Japanese gov't, ruling party say wartime sex slavery agreement is non-negotiable - Duration: 2:13.

Top Japanese officials and the country's ruling party lawmakers were more straightforward

on their feelings regarding the 2015 bilateral agreement on the wartime sexual slavery issue.

They spoke with one voice,... saying a renegotiation is OUT of the question.

Park Jong-hong has this report.

The reactions by Japan's ruling party lawmakers were far from restrained.

At a government foreign affairs meeting on Thursday, Hiroshi Yamada of the ruling Liberal

Democratic Party said "there can never be a renegotiation on the Korea-Japan agreement

on comfort women."

He added that Japan must stick to its stance and get South Korea to implement the deal

even after 100 or 200 years.

Another lawmaker, Yoshiiki Hirada, argued that "Tokyo should not bow and ask Seoul to

abide by the deal but rather has to demand that it obeys the agreement."

The responses struck a chord with others at the meeting.

The director of Asian affairs at Tokyo's Foreign Ministry, Kenji Kanasugi, who represented

the Japanese government, echoed the sentiment saying a renegotiation is out of the question.

Some suggested taking advantage of the U.S. influence on South Korea.

They want Japan to reiterate the crucial nature of the deal to the U.S. and have Washington

pressure Seoul to implement it as is.

The negative sentiment also spread to the issue of North Korea.

The ruling party lawmakers said that, if Seoul relies heavily on an appeasement policy toward

the North, this could go against the international tide of stepping up pressure on a belligerent

North Korean regime.

Speaking at the parliament, Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida asserted that talks for talks

sake with North Korea is meaningless and that the new Moon Jae-in administration ought to

pressure Pyongyang.

Experts say Tokyo's reaction had been anticipated prior to Korea's presidential election and

such discontent is now coming to a head.

What is Abortion Stigma? - Duration: 1:09.

[jingle starts]

What is Abortion Stigma?

seeking, supporting or providing abortion.

So, what is the impact of Abortion Stigma?

When people face stigma and fear being judged for an

abortion they are less likely to share their experiences.

Shame, and a culture of silence leads to a lot of

misinformation and myths about abortion being

uncommon.

It reinforces social norms that paint abortion as

something deviant, and leads to people seeking an

abortion to face discrimination which risks their health

and safety.

And the cycle repeats it self.

Lets break the cycle, and make fighting for safe abortion

access part of our feminism.

It's time to Abort the Stigma.
