And if you have not figured this out like I alluded to earlier very quickly, America
is changing.
The ethnic makeup of America is changing.
Some of you like that.
Some of you don't like that. To be quite honest it really doesn't matter whether we like
it or not.
It's happening.
And the problem is the church, universal, thank God it's not newhope, but the church, universal,
is falling way behind that which is already happening in our culture.
For example the American church is still over 90 percent segregated.
It was Martin Luther king junior who said the 11:00 hour is the most segregated hour
of the week.
Unfortunately it hasn't changed much.
Check this out, the American church is 10 times more segregated than the communities in which
they are located.
Again in some cases unfortunately America's changing, our young people are changing, but
the church is lagging woefully behind.
And the American church is, check this out,
20 times more segregated than the schools they are located in.
Now if I can just pause and say to the pastor out there who's watching this online,
If your pastoring and leading a homogeneous church.
And you are not intentionally trying to grow a multi ethnic diverse church I would say
2 things to you one is you are being biblically unfaithful.
And secondly it is only a matter of time before your church will die and become extinct.
Because I'm going to tell you,
young people have no desire and rightly so, they have no desire to go to a homogeneous church.
