Prayer is actually

a science and it's also

an act of magic.

The whole essence of

magic is invoking

energy and then sending

it out;

manipulating it...you change

it through yourself,

through your thought processes,

and then you send it out to the

target of your choice.

That is in essence what an act

of magic is,

and that is how we

look at prayer.

It's a technique you can

learn.

It's a way to

self development and

you are really doing something

that's valuable in the world

today.

The way we use prayer is in a

dynamic way – an open way.

We hold the hands up as

so and we

radiate energy through the

heart centre and the psychic

centres in the palms of the

hands.

And,

the more we learn this

technique of how to pray

we can really send out streams

of energy into the mind belt.

We can send absent healing to

those we know who are in need

of help – even to people we

don't know the other side of

the world.

You talked a little bit about

prayer as a science and also

as an amalgamation

of so many of the

different yogas which Dr.

George King combined

together into this practice

that he taught as dynamic

prayer.

Absolutely.

In order to pray correctly

you have to really concentrate

on what you are saying and what

you are visualizing.

So, you are bringing about this

idea of a one pointedness

of mind.

You're dispensing with random

thought.

And I'm sure we'll all agree

that in the space

of one minute we'd probably

lose count of the number of

thoughts that have flashed

through our mind and we are not

even aware of it.

I mean, how many people can

think about one thing without

deviating for one minute?

I think we'd all be surprised,

including myself.

But that's where we have to

start.

This one pointedness of mind;

then you've got the

visualization –

the concept of sending out this

white light and visualizing

that. And that's all part of

Raja yoga.

Then you have to bring in the

love;

this universal love,

which will open up the heart

chakra.

And is not a form of

Bhakti yoga?

And you bring the two together

and you are bringing about an

aspect of Jnana yoga,

which is the yoga of wisdom.

Because if you

have the real love

and the visualization

you will bring about a greater

awareness of

life and how we're all related

one to another.

It's all an aspect of God

and by praying in this way we

are helping all aspects of God

in manifestation.

It's selfless service for

the whole; for the greater good

of the whole.

That is the essence of

Karma yoga.

It's something that we practice

in The Aetherius Society.

And, Dr. George King was indeed

a Master of Karma yoga.

And in fact he was the Master

of karmic manipulation: how

we can change our personal

karma for the better.

And, by performing an act

of selfless service,

something will

come back to you.

It has to, by karmic law.

And what you send out will be

returned to you.

So if you send out this

universal love,

or healing,

to help people you may not even

know the other side of the

world,

you will get something back

from it and you'll find this

feeling of deep spiritual

satisfaction that nothing else

can ever bring;

no material possession could

ever bring that

inner joy, that inner peace.

Because that's another

by-product of this.

When you're doing the right

thing and you're helping;

you're helping humanity or the

animal kingdom,

you'll find a peace

within you because

it's the right spiritual act.

This is that tool.

This is that magic that

any one,

whoever they are,

from around the world can tune

in,

together with other like-minded

people through 12blessings.org

in order to send out spiritual

energy, healing and upliftment

into our world.

Aspirin Is The Best Thing You Can Take After A Mini Stroke - Duration: 3:15.

For centuries people have taken aspirin to relieve nagging headaches.

Beyond that, studies suggest the painkiller can offer several other health benefits, including

protection from cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Doctors also use it to treat patients who've suffered a transient ischaemic attack, also

known as a mini stroke.

Now, new research published in The Lancet suggests patients who pop the pills before

doctors tell them to may maximize health effects.

Minor strokes differ from the major types of strokes, ischemic or hemorrhagic, because

blood flow to the brain is blocked for only a short period of time — usually no more

than five minutes, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In addition to being a medical emergency, they also serve as a warning sign of a future

stroke.

This is alarming since strokes are the fifth leading cause of death in the U.S., killing

about one person every four minutes in the U.S., the CDC said.

Interested to see if taking aspirin immediately after a mini stroke could reduce the risk

of a second, more severe stroke, European researchers combed through data from about

16,000 people already enrolled in 12 trials examining the effectiveness of aspirin for

long-term prevention of a further stroke.

They also analyzed data from about 40,000 people in three trials looking at aspirin

as potential treatment for acute stroke.

The risk of suffering a major stroke is highest after a transient ischemic attack; however,

this risk is only elevated for a few days.

In that time, researchers found that aspirin can substantially reduce the risk of suffering

a subsequent stroke by about 70 to 80 percent.

This is a considerable increase from the 15 percent reduced risk prior studies have found.

"Our findings confirm the effectiveness of urgent treatment after transient ischemic

attack and minor stroke — and show that aspirin is the most important component,"

lead researcher Peter Rothwell said in a statement.

"Immediate treatment with aspirin can substantially reduce the risk and severity of early recurrent

stroke.

This finding has implications for doctors, who should give aspirin immediately if a transient

ischemic attack or minor stroke is suspected, rather than waiting for specialist assessment

and investigations."

About 10 to 15 percent of people who suffer from minor strokes go on to have an actual

one within three months.

Previous studies have also shown that minor strokes can lower a person's life expectancy,

perhaps due to the fact patients don't seek medical attention, Rothwell said; if they

do, they wait a few days.

And half of recurrent strokes among mini stroke sufferers are a result of this course of action.

Rothwell concluded: "Encouraging people to take aspirin if they think they may have

had a minor stroke — experiencing sudden-onset unfamiliar neurological symptoms — could

help to address this situation, particularly if urgent medical help is unavailable."

TRY SLIPPING A BAR OF SOAP UNDER THE COVERS TO EASE RESTLESS LEG SYNDROME - Duration: 2:07.

Restless leg syndrome is an ailment many people know all too well.

Also known as Willis-Ekbom disease, the disorder is, according to Dr. Whitaker, caused by disruptions

in the nervous system which can make your legs (and in some cases, arms) ache, feel

strained, and even move uncontrollably.

These symptoms can lead to very poor sleep, as they make it difficult for the body to

truly relax.

So what can be done about it?

A mysterious home remedy may be your answer.

Dr. Julian Whitaker confirms that patients of his swear by this method — placing a

bar of soap in your bed at night will help relieve the symptoms in a significant manner.

Derek H. Page from The People's Pharmacy writes about the process: While it has not

yet been determined in a completely conclusive manner, Page theorizes that the scent molecules

in the soap are capable of evaporating and depositing on your leg, where they'll then

be absorbed into your muscles and affect your blood supply.

No matter the reason, people everywhere have taken to this seemingly infallible remedy,

slowly turning it into a household staple.

People's Pharmacy took it upon themselves to engineer a soap bar that is completely

flat, in order to be less intrusive in the bed while remaining just as efficient.

The lavender scent that it diffuses is also said to help with sleeping.

While some people choose to place it in a free-roaming sock in the sheets, you could

also try hiding your bar of soap under your fitted sheet and seeing if that works as well.

There are other remedies, however, if you'd like to try multiple methods: Dr. Whitaker

recommends stocking up on supplemental calcium, magnesium and iron, as a deficiency in any

of these could be responsible for your aches.

Healthline also stresses the importance of daily exercise, even as low-intensity as walks,

to help reduce RLS.

Getting your body used to a recurring sleep schedule and minimizing stress are also highly

recommended.
