I'm The Doberman Guy!

And today we're going to check if the doberman is a good breed as a first dog!

But before we go…

Dobermans are determined by nature,

which makes them bold and assertive

They need an experienced person on the other end of their leads.

However, because dobermans are so intelligent,

they are incredibly easy to train.

Dobermans are renowned as being very good watch and guard dogs

because they are so easily trained!

Since they are such adaptable creatures they also make lovely family pets.

But this is only true if everyone in the household is firm with their pet, always showing them

consistency when being handled.

Dobermans need a firm but gentle hand, and they appreciate rules being set, as long as

everyone sticks to them.

If left to their own, a doberman can turn a little stubborn, and this leads to a willfulness,

which can be hard to cope with.

However, the breed is a true "follower",

which means they are always keen to follower their leader.

Dobermans, like many other breeds,

like to know their place in the pack:

it gives them the feeling of security they need.

A doberman needs to be given lots of physical exercise

but they also need lots of mental stimulation as well

because this keeps them happy.

Training should continue throughout their lives:

because they enjoy and need this kind of stimulation.

The Doberman only becomes "aggressive" or ferocious

if they are trained to be that way!

Or because they have been mishandled when they were young,

or not socialised enough.

Some people who take on a doberman are sometimes too intimidated by their pets

and forget or fail to show their dog the sort of leadership the breed needs,

which usually ends up in disaster for both the dog and their owner.

So… the answer is… Yes, and no!

If you don't have time for your doberman, or you don't have a strong personality,

probably the Doberman is not for you as a first dog.

But if you love challenges,

and you know that you will have time to dedicate to this wonderful breed:

the doberman is a dog that will bring you lot of joy and happiness!

- What is an agent?

In sales, you have a direct model and an indirect model.

In the indirect model, you will actually use other companies

or people that will introduce you to businesses.

So that means you do not have

a direct engagement with the end user.

The end user is the company or person

that will buy your product.

So what is an agent?

An agent is sitting in between.

It's most of the time a person or a very small company

that has connections to a lot of companies,

a lot of, let's say, executives within companies

that have decision power to buy your product or service.

So what you're gonna do is you're going to

talk to the agent, and you're gonna agree on a plan,

the agent is gonna go to his customers,

and he's going to introduce you.

From a legal point of view, you have a,

still, a direct relationship, because you will sell

directly to the end user, but you need to give a fee

or a commission to the agent.

So legally, this is very interesting

because you still have the direct relationship,

you just have to give the commission when the deal is done.

How much commission?

That depends on the amount,

and that depends on how much work is involved.

Typically, this would be sitting between

two to about eight percent,

average what you see is about five to six percent.

In the software industry, the service industry

you could see higher amounts,

but it really depends on how you negotiate.

An agent model is a very strong model to scale abroad.

If you want to scale your business instead of

doing the investment and taking the risk of staying,

of actually opening an office abroad,

you could actually use agents to scale very rapidly.

There are some businesses that have grown

extremely rapidly based on agents.
