We started as X-presion 10 years ago.

and transforms the idea and then I destroy it.

my silicon spatulas and transparent foils to create colours in three dimensions.

It is something that I need.

Just simple, I just need a paintbrush ultimately.

I just need a paintbrush of some sort, many of which I kind of whittle down

and cut into the shapes that I need to work with

but pair of gloves and a paintbrush is important, that's enough.

The lead motive as a company is to create something new.

So that's why every morning we wake up for the same reason as when we started.

We aim at creating new techniques.

We create the technique, develop it in a collection and then we share it while doing education.

One of the main reasons for us is to see after few years how hairdressers around the world

are doing in their salon or in their collection part of the work that we have developed in

our studio. This makes us very proud.

If I had a signature look, I think it's really just about having an edge and having opposing

tones, things that are usually a little unexpected, kind of dirty and raw sort of colours matched

with really clean beautiful hair. I think that would describe my work as a whole.

We always try to bring some new ideas for the colour world.

From the very beginning with our first collection we started to create colours in horizontal

and then we developed these techniques.

It´s always something that has never been seen before.

What is the inspiration for the Disheveled Nudes collection?

I think the inspiration for nudes particularily, because either way we both approach our work

in a really similar way, was to turn it on its head, to flip it and do the opposite of

what most people associate with nude colours.

So we really brought to the table very similar things and that was that they would

be dusty and worn-in, lived-in, slightly dirty, pastely... things that were quite the opposite

of what most people think when they say the word 'nude'.

I think we've done an awesome job.

That's why we are the great team!

That's right, that's why we are the best team!
