Welcome to "Jing Talk Show"

I am the program assistant

Today's guest is referred to as the "National Treasure" of Kazakhstan

He is a skillful singer

but he also has good looks

He has deep-set eyes and a sunshine smile

Who is he?

Advertisement: this show is sponsored by S-Yue

Ladies and gentleman, let's welcome our beloved Li Jing!

You can see that in 2018, on the stage of "Jing Talk Show"

we have invited young people from different backgrounds and professions

Why? Because we want to be young, right?

Youth means energy

Youth means fans

I heard his fans came from far away and waited for a long time

Where are they?

We are honored to be able to invite him

Although we do have difficulty communicating

But I believe music can overcome the barrier

because music is beyond boundaries

I believe that those who love him don't necessarily need him to speak

He can wow you with his singing, right?

Who is he? Let's call out his name!

One two three. Dimash!

A round of applause please

Entanglement, filled with twists and turns

Dust, spectacular yet lonely

Absurdity, repeats again and again

Partings, so casual and indifferent

Bitterness brings turmoil

Infatuation brings despair

Love is a thorny crown. Why hold on to such pain?

Memories, like a web of vines

A regret that breathes

Let me wear the crown you gave

Like an ancient statue living in a museum

Giving you a lavish yearning

Like sheets of small, insignificant, beautiful dust

A regret that breathes

Let me wear the crown you gave

In the shadow of splendor lies the desolation of love

Dimash

Come, this side, 123

Thank you

Jing, I can feel a sound wave when he came out

pushing me forward

Dimash, Dimash

Slow down. Even though Dimash knows a little Chinese

We need to slow down a bit today

Can you say "I love you" in Chinese to your fans?

I love you

Who in the audience wants to come learn to say "I love you" in Kazakh?

To be fair, let the cameraman choose all right?

Stop

This one, come here

Tell him we are teaching his fans how to say " I love you"

"I love you"(Kazakh)

Too difficult

Slow down

"I love you"

I love you

Link together and say again

"I love you"

Smart girl(in Chinese)

Very smart girl

"I love you"

Let's say that next time

Let's give our handsome guest another round of applause

Thank you! Thank you fans!

The youngster who shines on stage

What is he like in real life?

Whichever girl you like, once you play the dombra she will marry you right the way

I will take your advice

I know you are all my friends, but I only boast in front of one or two friends

Boasting among men

Born in a musical family, what fun stories does Dimash have growing up?

He sang in the girl's choir

as a soprano

There were lots of pretty girls

Everyone in our family is a teacher

If I listen to my mom then I am not obeying the teacher at school

If I listen to the teacher at school, then I am not obeying the one at home

As he plays the dombra and sings,

watch how the "National Treasure" of Kazakhstan wow the audience

Tonight Dimash is our guest on "Jing Talk Show"

Let us get to know the singer who lives for music

Advertisement: this show is sponsored by S-yue

Welcome Dimash

To show our hospitality, we will first present a small gift from "Jing Talk Show"

You have something to say?

This is the 14th day of the New Year

I believe Dimash is 24 years old

That means this year is the anniversary year of your birth sign

Must wear red

Red socks

Thank you very much

We also have similar saying

I came to this world 24 years ago

But I know he is quite masculine, right?

Doesn't like pastel colors. Do you mind wearing red?

As a man, I am not too fond of pastel colors

But I find red acceptable

I wonder if you can try the red socks on here?

Red will bring you good luck

"Blessings. Step on the villains"

Step on the villains

"Step on the villains" means driving away bad luck

Thank you so much

We scared him

"Scared, scared"

There is more here Jing

These are red envelopes

You put money inside

You can give these to them

Pay attention! Don't move!

Too bad we are not passing out socks

Ok, thank you

When you came to China for the first time to enter the Singer competition

what made you choose that competition?

Those are some unforgettable moments

At that time nobody knew me on the street

I could walk around freely

I was very thin at the time

Where was this?

Changsha

The program crew in Changsha invited me to participate in the show

Before heading to the studio, I strolled along the street in Changsha

to experience the atmosphere in Changsha

You try to do this again on the street now

Should I try?

You have your phones ready?

But Dimash today has many many fans

Completely different from back then

I want to ask Dimash- have you been to China before the Singer competition?

No

In the past I don't stay more than a week in foreign countries

The interesting thing is, when I entered this competition,

it lasted almost four months

At the time I really missed home

But when I see so many fans here

I stop being homesick

To be honest, I am not jealous of other singers

Not everyone has fans like mine

At that time did you imagine what kind of place China was like?

Of course I knew that China has five thousand years of history

It is a country of wealth and prosperity

I also knew about Peking opera in China

as well as the world-famous actor Jackie Chan

Let me tell you a secret

My grandpa, my father and me

We are all Jackie Chan's fans

Three generations

We are from three different generations, but we all like Jackie Chan

That means you all want to learn Kung Fu. Do you know some?

I don't know Kung Fu

but I practiced Tae Kwan Do for three years

Do you feel lonely? We cannot speak your language

Our English is not good

Do you feel lonely in China sometimes?

Language is indeed a challenge

I am learning English now

My agents use English to communicate with me

But Chinese is really to difficult

Although I use languages from many countries when performing

but I cannot say I am fluent in many languages

My brother and sister at home are better at languages than me

My sister speaks Chinese

Actually his language ability is very strong

He uses many different languages

Let's ask him to say one phrase in different languages, ok?

French

"SOS d un terrien en détresse"

Lyrics summary: the singer questions the meaning of life, death, happiness and tears

German

I forgot the lyrics

I sang this song when I was in college

Dimash singing a Serbian song

Lyrics summary: this Serbian song describes the passion of love. The lover is as the purple Metthiola

It describes the beauty and fervency of love

"Ukraine"

Lyrics summary: this song describes conflicting states of mind when in love

Two people destined to be together, experienced happiness and quarrels,

and tortured by the pain of separation

Russian

Lyrics summary: Deep in the night, the garden is quiet except for the whispers of the wind

What beautiful nightfall! Blissfulness in this charming night

Kyrgyz

Lyrics not available

Spanish

Spanish (songs) is nice

Lyrics summary: this Spanish love song is about the strong yearning for one's departed lover

It expresses the soul's loneliness and grief after losing one's lover

I forgot the lyrics

I like Italian

Lyrics summary: this Italian song tells the story of a man whose heart is broken after being betrayed by his lover.

He suffers alone reminiscing the past

I am jealous of his voice. I am mad!

After "Singer", you started your concert our in China

You all went, right?

How many?

Two!

I want to know how many more concerts will you have?

Can you describe for us what the concerts were like each time?

I still have lots of plans regarding the concerts

The two concerts I had were all jam-packed

The concerts were so packed because of your support

It's well-attended because of you

Every singer wishes to have many fans

All want to be successful

My achievements today are all thanks to you

I have a strong sense of time

I want everything to go according to plan

But when I see my fans, I want to spend more time with them

I want them to be happy and satisfied with everything I do

Let's experience the conert

Thank you very much

I would like you to describe for us

what does it feel like to sing and dance on stage?

When I am on stage

I feel like Michael Jackson is with me

I saw that you played many instruments in your concert

Did you learn them when you were little?

Speaking of instruments, I feel I don't play very well

Because I am not a professional instrumentalistl

Does everyone there(in Kazakhstan) learn dombra as a child?

or not many people know how to play?

I cannot say every Kazakh plays the dombra,

but everyone around me, my mentors and friends all play dombra

He plays dombra on stage to introduce dombra and its culture to the audience

Dombra produces beautiful music

When I was in school, I learned musical instruments

Dombra has a very relaxing sound

But dombra music is expressed differently depending on the player

We have a dombra here right?

Bring it up here and let Dimash play

I am not very good at playing dombra

There are wonderful dombra players in Kazakhstan

If they were here, they would be able to show the real essence of dombra

I will do my best to let you experience the charm of dombra

Can you sing and play dombra at the same time?

Lyrics summary: I fear this wind will make you cold. You may leave any moment

Since we are in love, why torture each other? Why the silence?

Daybreak comes and the night is gone, without leaving a trace

The haze in your eyes sinks to the bottom of my heart

I can't help but look for you. You've been gone for so long

There is no true love in this world. The surroundings may be the same, but people have changed

No greetings or yearnings. As I call your name, autumn has already passed

I see you in my dreams. Who do I long for? Who do I long for?

Once he sings people fall in love with him

Heavenly voice

Whichever girl you like, once you sing and play the dombra

she will marry you right the way

Really

I will for sure take your advice

There are many who can sing in Kazakhstan

Maybe this trick doesn't work well there

But in China this trick will work

I believe there are many talented people in China

When I participated in "Singer"

the competition brought together many talented mentors

So I think this trick maybe doesn't work in China neither

This is yours. Can you play?

A little.

Are you taking lessons because of him?

Sit here and play a bit

Do you dare? Good!

That's ok

You started learning dombra because of him?

It's after the 7th round of "Singer", when he sang "Daididau"

He played the song "Adai" at the beginning, and I fell in love with that melody

Therefore I wanted to learn

Then you started learning

If I learn a Chinese instrument for three months

I would never play as good nor be at the same level as you now

Therefore, thank you so much!

This is the best testament and reward for my hardwork

Picture time!

Aside from his fans,

for Dimash who grew up in a traditional Kazakh family,

his family is his most importnat source of support

This is my father

This is father right?

This is me

My mother

My grandpa and grandma

I call them "papa" and "mama"

This is my "mama". She is actually my grandma

But we have this custom

It's called "Returning the son"

which means giving the first-born son to the grandparents

I was born at a time when this tradition was in practice

This is my "papa"(grandpa)

My sister(aunt)

This is me

The first-born given back to the grandparents

My understanding of this tradition is that

it helps the relationship between the daughter-in-law and mother-in-law

My "mother" is also my grandma

After I was born

my grandma raised me

She took care of me all along, and enabled me to have an education

She was 47 years old at the time. She still had a job

But in order to raise me, she quit her job

and focused on taking care of me

My grandpa used to be a leader

Everyone in my family is a teacher

I heard your parents are famous singers

At that time my parents contributed greatly to my country

They were well-known

So I grew up in a family rich in musical culture and heritage

When you were little, did you want to be different from them?

to sing and perform on stage

Did you go through a rebellious period?

Maybe you won't believe me

since young I've never though about other careers

My dream when I was little was to be a famous singer

Jing, I know about this as well

Dimash started performing on stage at the age of 5

He won first place in a piano competition in Kazakhstan at the age of six

At the age of sixteen he won an international competition

I didn't win first place at the time

When I was five, I entered an international competition

I didn't win at the time

I got an Excellence Award

When I see photos of myself back then

I was missing my front teeth

We have a video of him playing the piano when he was little

So cute!

The gentleman next to me, he is the one who did the musical arrangement for "Daididau"

You can hear people's applause

Who was holding you up?

I don't remember

This is a photo from his childhood

I looked up some references

He was in the choir at that time

Did you know that he sang soprano in the choir?

There were lots of pretty girls

Just kidding! I was very little at the time

I sang soprano since I was little

There were lots of boys in the choir

At that time I could sing very high notes

When I grew up,

the low notes became higher as well

At that time our choir didn't have many girls

So our teacher placed me in the girls' section

He said lots of boys can sing in the male section

Why don't you go sing in the female section

I was barely sixteen, singing sorpano among a group of girls

Before your voice changed

My voice had already changed

Before my voice changed, I was singing in the girls' section

After my voice changed, when the female section was short on people

they told me to go help

You dazzle on stage. I feel you were born for the stage

When you were little did you ever imagine a day would come,

with so many fans cheering for you and following you?

How old were you when you felt you should be on stage?

To have screaming fans?

When I was little I drew a picture together with other kids

Other kids drew their houses and cars

I drew musical instruments, microphones

myself being applauded on stage

Not sure if that's real or not

I heard when you were little, you made an album for yourself

A music album. Is that true?

At that time my father was a music album producer

Many famous Kazakh singers' albums were produced by him

I was about 4-5 years old

I would draw myself on the cover of the album

and then put the CD inside

Then on the back I wrote my first song, second song...

When done I showed my father, saying "Look, I produced my own album!"

This may be a joke before you became famous

Or this child being so and so

But then you realize people who are on stage are those who believe in themselves

Therefore I believe his achievements are the result of his faith in himself

Because of that he realized his dream. Right?>

Of course he has your support as well

We got to know you because of your songs

Today if you are asked to describe your personality, which words would you use?

When I was in school, I was overall a serious person

But occasionally I was naughty as well

If you must name the one trait you are most proud of

what would that be?

I don't think I should be the one to talk about my best trait

This should be judged by all of you

I usually only boast in front of friends

We are your friends

I know you are all my friends

but I only boast in front of one or two friends

Boasting among men

Just now you mentioned a particularly important person, your grandma

Your piano and singing lessons. Then she quit her job

She spent a lot of time raising you

Can you share a story about you and your grandma?

My love toward my grandma cannot be described even by the best literature expert

I love my grandma, and my grandma loves me

January 28th of this year, my grandparents had a big celebration

for their 50th wedding anniversary

"Golden Wedding Anniversary"

My grandparents always taught me to respect the elders

I grew up under their influence

In the past they said it daily, now weekly

This is what they taught me

That's how it is today

Have you ever done anything to make them angry?

When you were little

Lots

I thought you would say no

Of course there were. I won't try to hide

Because everyone in the family is a teacher,

I feel I must obey everything the teacher says

One time in physical education class

our teacher asked us to wear white t-shirts

But at the time the white shirt at home was dirty

My mom told me to wear yellow

I didn't know if Ishould listen to the teacher at school or the one at home

If I listen to my mom, then I am disobeying my teacher at school

If I listen to my teacher at school, then I am disobeying the one at home

Even so, I grew up with the unconditional love of my parents

Most young people your age are self-centered

Always talk about their own wants and needs

But you talked a lot about being thankful. I am really moved

Including honoring the older generation.

I am not sure how you call it (in Kazakhstan).

But honoring the elderly, honoring your parents. This is important to you

Although different countries have different cultures and traditions,

but we all have one thing in common- to respect the elderly and to care for children

I agree with what you said

In different countries, in all parts of the world, we have a lot of differences

but there is no difference when it comes to respecting the elderly

I believe if you like him, you will follow his values

It is worth following an idol like him

When looking for a girlfriend, is her looks less important than her respect for the older generation?

It's best of course if she has both

My partner must love my parents more than me

For example my mom is never rude to my grandma

I thnk if we respect our parents and our mentors,

the next generation will respect us as well

If you have such a girlfriend, will you treat her parents well?

Will you take up her responsibilities?

Of course. This is for sure

I will love her parents as well

And I think since we are together

then there is no difference between your parents and my parents

You see?

Lots of young people feel that it's not cool to talk about parents in public

Everybody wants to talk about him/herself

He is handsome and sings so well

but he talked a lot about values

I feel he has a special "light". Don't you think?

This is the type you should look for

You are here working in China. Does your grandma worry about you?

How do you convince her?

My grandparents are still worried about me even now

Even though I have been in China for a year

they are still worried about me all the time

With the advance of internet technology, not only young people but the elderly are using the web

So my grandparents learned how to use social media

They witnessed every special moment I spent with you

They are very happy

They told me they are comforted to know I have such a group fans

and said they are not as worried now

They love you too

Will you spend more time in China in the future?

My immediate goal is to advance my career

Regardless of which country, regardless of where I am

my fans, who have been with me all along, will continue to stay by my side

When I observe this relationship between a singer and his fans,

I see respect and attentiveness

Some may say this is a kind of politeness

but I don't think so

To a singer, you are both fans and friends

You like his music. His music brings you a lot of blessings

And Dimash is also the One Belt and Road Cultural Ambassador

I don't know if your country's tourism has increased because of you

Yes? We want to go

This is what it means to be a cultural ambassador

This is why he is a "National Treasure" in Kazakhstan

Therefore we hope more people in China will appreciate his singing

Thank you everyone

We can see that music is his way of pleasing himself and others

How come he is like a statue?

Music is the way for him to please himself and others

I hope you can listen to his music and find enjoyment

We have a special gift box provided by our sponsor S-Yue

Goalkeeper Training for Crosses ● part 5 ● 4GK - Duration: 4:46.

Hello this is George Berneanou with a cold... and the final video on how to deal with crosses.

The last technique to train is Scoop the Ball.

Both the warmup and first exercise include some coordination movements.

It is important to add some coordination to the daily training drills.

During the warmup we bring the intensity up with the coordination footwork before a scoop

of the ball coming from a center cross.

The first exercise is a combination of coordination footwork with appropriate placement

and the reception of a side cross.

If the placement is appropriate the scoop technique will be used.

Make sure you alternate left and right crosses.

Keep the attention of the keepers on precise positioning, decision on technique to use,

and correct execution.

The second exercise aims to perfect the execution of the technique.

We serve a lot of low trajectory crosses aimed at the torso of the keeper

in order to facilitate the choice of the Scoop.

The origin of the crosses should be 180 degrees around the goal, inward and outward.

Gradually we increase the distance and force of the crosses served.

We can also add disturbances in the form of obstacles.

The Scoop the Ball technique should be used when the keeper has time for appropriate positioning

and the ball is descending towards him.

Make sure the keeper's elbows remain in front of the torso and not on his sides.

This way a safe basket is created for the ball to land.

In the third exercise we force the keeper to get into position before the Scoop.

He begins his movement in an off-position placement, near the goal posts

or out of the small box.

We initiate his movement with an auditory or a visual stimulus and give him time

for positioning before a long cross.

We aim for fast positioning, eye contact with the ball, reflexes on the stimulus,

decision on the technique to use and, always, perfect execution.

In the fourth exercise we introduce disturbances in the form of obstacles and an attacker

that will increase the pressure on the decision.

The fifth and final exercise adds the continuation of the Scoop technique.

The keeper is asked to continue moving forward after the scoop and execute a volley kick

to a distant target.

This is the end of the Crosses series.

Please send me ideas for following series.

Stay tuned and thank you for your support.

Betsy, Veterinarian Part 3 - My budget and planning for the future - Duration: 4:22.

I'm Betsy Feighner.

I'm 32 years old.

I'm a veterinarian and my annual salary

is 85,000, plus production.

Spending four years in vet school and a year in internship,

it was very much a time not for myself.

So, now that I am out and making money,

it's very important to me to be able

to go out to eat and go to concerts and travel

and save up for those types of experiences.

I work to live.

I'm trying to save as much as I can

but it's also very important to me to enjoy

the playground I live in.

So, living in Denver is definitely expensive.

I've been here now for five years

and every year I see the rent go up.

It's harder to find a place to live.

It is worth it, but, I think compared

to a lot of other cities around the nation,

I think we're right up there in terms of cost of living.

But it is definitely expensive.

I think if I had ended up in the Midwest

where I was born and raised,

I probably would be saving a lot more money.

My monthly income is around like 7,000,

give or take, pre-tax.

So, deducted from that, of course,

would be my taxes, health insurance,

contributing to my 401K, which my employer does match,

3%, so I try to maximize that every month.

I end up taking home around 4,000 to 4,500.

My rent right now is about 1,000,

which I'm pretty lucky to find a living situation

where that's the case.

A couple years ago, I was paying

significantly more than that.

So, that's been a big help.

TV and internet, really just use Hulu and Netflix,

don't really pay for cable or anything like that.

And split with my roommate, it's about $25 a month.

Phone bill, yeah around $50.

I don't really use it too much.

So, I don't need one of the bigger plans.

I have a car payment that's about 350 a month.

I also don't drive a whole lot.

I try to ride my bike and use a lot of Lyft and Uber

and that sort of thing on the weekends.

I, maybe, average about $80 in gas per month.

$75 month in insurance, which I try to pay off twice a year

to get the cost savings for that.

I'm extremely fortunate to not have any loans.

So, that is a huge help.

Otherwise, I spend roughly $400 on food,

in terms of groceries.

I usually do a meal delivery service

and that can also be about 75 bucks a month.

Or, I'm sorry, per week.

So, after that, I'm leftover with maybe 500

to 1,000, depending on the month

and how much I spend going to restaurants,

going out to eat, going to concerts, traveling.

I take a lot of little weekend excursions.

A lot of overnights up in the mountains

so that that other category can quickly add up.

I like to have a lot of fun on my time off.

After that, I'm also contributing as much as I can

to my personal Roth IRA.

So, all being said, I'm hoping to save

between maybe 500 to 1,000 per month.

Despite what else I spend my money on,

it is always very important to me to always contribute

to my Roth IRA as much as I can.

And then my 401K which gets deducted before I see it,

which the way I prefer it.

I wish when I was younger, that I would've just been

much more aware about saving.

I think I'm saving as much as I can now.

But, if I would have had that on my radar

even in high school, starting to put money away,

and my spending habits through college,

and vet school, even.

It always was important to me to buy gear

and go shopping and buy clothes and all of that.

I think I could've been a little more frugal

and started to put money away

and even start a Roth IRA

the first opportunity I could have.

If I would've started that in college,

I think I'd be way ahead of the game now.

My name is Cora Rodriguez, and I have been a Volunteer Mentor with Free Arts of Arizona for about three years

Free Arts of Arizona is a nonprofit organization that

creates all sorts of different arts programs for

Kids who are in need around the valley, kids from homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters

And we do all sorts of different programs from summer camps to weekly

art programs and

Professional Artists Series. I really do see how what we do as volunteers

makes a difference. It's just a positive place for them to express themselves in a way

that's maybe different than what they known

And it's a positive way to learn how to express your emotions and feelings.

My name is Lamont McDuffie, I'm a junior at Grand Canyon University, and I've been with Free Arts of Arizona for four years

I started my adventure with Free Arts in the group home

Actually, I was a resident in a group home

And I had mentors of my own that came out every week and since then I've been volunteering after I left the group home

I've been abused from a child up until I got to a group home

The abuse started when I was around four years old by my mom or by my mom's boyfriend's at the time

And then I would bounce around the family and then eventually I ended up in Arizona

Where grandmother's husband and my aunty ended up attacking me, so I ended up in a group home

Without Free Arts I don't think that I'd be willing to share my story. It was an opportunity to talk and converse with

adults who actually were there because they cared and not because they were getting paid to be at the group home and

a chance to allow for creative space to be myself and

Open up and be able to talk to people about Who I am and what I've been through in my life

That has brought me to where I am today

My name is Gabriel Caesar I have been a mentor with Free Arts for about five years

I think it's important that kids have somebody they can talk to, somebody they can trust

Art provides an outlet that connects people in a kind of a fundamental way. That is,

Inescapable. You, you can't go into a creative process with other people, and not contribute some part of yourself

And I think for a lot of the kids that I work with Free Arts, that's a rare occurrence.

I love kids because they remind me what it's like

to be a kid and childlike and innocent and

Full of life and wonder and, even though these kids have been through such difficult

experiences they still

They still have that.

Kim Kardashian Calls Out YSL for Copying the Saint Pablo Tour - Duration: 1:04.

What up guys, Frazier here for Complex News.

Looks like Kim Kardashian is not too thrilled with the folks over at Saint Laurent after

noticing they might have drawn some, uh, "inspiration" from her husband's Saint Pablo Tour set design.

Kim called out similarities in the lighting used in Saint Laurent's show and that from

Kanye's famous floating stage in 2016.

On Instagram Kim posted side by side images for comparison with the passive aggressive

caption "Cute YSL."

Kanye already has a pretty contentious relationship with Saint Laurent.

In one of his most infamous onstage speeches, he revealed "I Am a God" was inspired

by Hedi Slimane trying to quote "control" him, dictating that he could only attend Saint

Laurent's fashion show if he didn't go to others.

He also name-checked Hedi Slimane in an instant classic outburst during his generally classic

2013 interview with Zane Lowe.

Of course, Hedi isn't actually with Saint Laurent anymore, he left to head up menswear

at Celine.

But apparently, old feuds die hard.

At the moment, the Wests haven't gone in further but something tells me this probably

won't be the last we here of this issue.
