Why the Global Blockchain Summit is a great event to attend - Duration: 1:46.

I'd like to just know what you're looking forward to and I know you've

done it in the past you've been at the Global Blockchain Summit here in Denver

what are you looking forward to with this event coming up I really like the

Global Blockchain Summit as far as world conferences places where people assemble

to talk about the blockchain I do think that it's a curated group of people, it's

definitely a very thoughtful and sincere group of people so I'm definitely a fan

of the organizers I feel like they're great people to do business with so you

know really if you show up at that conference you're gonna make some new

friends you're gonna get some really juicy conversations and I think that's

really what it's all about yeah some of the speaker lineup is just incredible

and the networking that you're going to be able to do with the actual speakers

at that event are going to be great so and and was that your experience last

year when you did it yeah I think it's a fairly intimate

setting I think it's very nice because it means that you're gonna get direct

access to speakers you know you're gonna get to really get the mindset you know

so as far as just making connections and friendships and you know it's contained

so that it really is able to deliver that for you it's not one of these giant

halls with thousands of people in it you know which is a also an excellent thing

that is quite different and this one is much more conversational it's more

intimate it's kind of closer knit right so that people really get a chance to

connect with each other socially and that's a that's very precious I think

Renowned Artist Paints Masterpiece Of President Trump… And What He's Doing Is Simply Powerful - Duration: 2:48.

Renowned Artist Paints Masterpiece Of President Trump…

And What He's Doing Is Simply Powerful Famed American artist Jon McNaughton has released

an incredible new painting of President Donald Trump, in which he stands alone in a packed

football stadium, holding a tattered American flag.

The flag is dirty from having laid abandoned on the field — but Trump's depicted wiping

the grime off the stars and stripes with the cloth in his right hand.

Here's the full photo:This picture effectively symbolizes the controversy surrounding NFL

players kneeling for the National Anthem during the 2016 and 2017 football season.

Trump was at the forefront of calling out these individuals, demanding that they be

suspended from playing until they "honor America."

Trump had backup from Vice President Mike Pence, who walked out of an Indianapolis Colts

game last year after players kneeled during the Star Spangled Banner.

Last year, McNaughton painted a picture in which Trump stands alongside the "forgotten

men and women" who elected the nation's 45th president.

Here is that painting:Many Americans have felt forgotten by the establishment in Washington.

I'm talking about the people who are more interested in themselves and their political

careers," McNaughton said in a video.

In addition, while core groups that supported Trump — blue-collar workers, veterans and

current members of the U.S. military, law enforcement officers, and farmers — are

represented in the painting, a first glance reveals an interesting addition:

A snake's head being crushed under the foot of the President.

"I want a President that will crush the enemies of liberty, justice, and American

prosperity," McNaughton explains.

"They may have the power to bruise his heel, but he will have the power to crush their

head."

McNaughton said those who voted for Trump knew exactly what they were getting, which

is why they voted for him in the first place:

"Last year, we elected President Trump.

He expressed by his words and demeanor what Americans wanted.

A man who is not going to bow down to Washington or other countries.

A man that would not forget the forgotten men and women of this country who elected

him."

Of the "forgotten," McNaughton asked: "How many veterans have been neglected?

How many of our police officers have been marginalized?

How many families are suffering because of poor healthcare, limited opportunities, and

government intrusion?" he added.

Life is a Game : Daily Sutras with Dinesh Ghodke #17 - Duration: 2:10.

Ritu asks "If we have people around us who are also in knowledge and on the path try to trouble you and hurt you mentally. How to deal with them?"

It is stuff because they are in the knowledge, their minds are stronger

so they will play more interesting moves and I suggest you take it as a game to

finally it's all a play so they make a move and you say wow man you are too

good and then because you have accepted the situation then your move will also

be much better and that's how you you take anything that happens around in

life in fact I was talking to a friend of mine and I said she said I'm having

so many problems but I like to take it as and I offered her the word challenge

he says no I like to take it as a game and that felt so nice you know in a game

you are consciously looking for challenges you go out from your

comfortable room or whatever you are sitting in and go out hunting for

monsters because what happens when you fight with those monsters when you fight

with those adversaries you gain experience you level up you get points

and that's how if we look at life too - then it becomes quite interesting

Jeff Sessions' DOJ Is Going After Hillary's Email Server - Duration: 20:50.

Jeff Sessions' DOJ Is Going After Hillary's Email Server

Hillary Clinton might be thrown in jail soon.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has his claws out for the scheming politician.

The Justice Department announced Thursday that it was launching a fresh probe into Clinton's

email scandal.

Clinton has a long, dirty list of crimes attributable to her but her illegal dealings with a private

email server are among the most well-known.

"Many people in our Country are asking what the 'Justice' Department is going to do

about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United

States Congress, deleted and 'acid washed' 33,000 Emails?

No justice!"

President Trump tweeted last month.

Justice has been slow, but it appears to be finally catching up with Clinton.

She went from being an influential female powerhouse to political poison at breakneck

speed.

If Sessions charges her with something it'll help bring closure to a case that everyone

wishes would end.

Clinton's campaign cronies, of course, think the renewed investigation is a waste of time.

"I think that even that is extremely dangerous, and that the Justice Department should not

be opening itself up to the perception that it is bending to political pressures from

the White House," said Brian Fallon, a former spokesman for the Justice Department and Clinton's

presidential campaign.

"The Justice Department is supposed to operate independently of the White House, and even

if this is just a perfunctory step that they're taking to try to appease the president, that

in and of itself is an abuse of the DOJ authority."

We're four days into 2018 and Clinton's already back in the news.

In a sick way, she's probably a little bit pleased.

Welcome to Texas, Where the Fracking Boom is Back! | Texans For Natural Gas - Duration: 2:44.

This roaring activity, once again is the soundtrack out here in West Texas and southern New Mexico.

The sound, signaling that after years of bankruptcies, layoffs and cutbacks, the American shale boom is back.

I'm Ernest Scheyder with Reuters News, just north of Fort Stockton, Texas. While the global oil industry is struggling to match supply and demand,

it's oil producers here, in West Texas, that are setting their own rules, boosting drilling at the fastest pace in years.

Here, at the well, operated by Scandro, which you can see right over my shoulder, crews are drilling deep into the Permian Basin, the largest oil field in the United States.

Oil producer, Lilis Energy, plans to add 12 wells and expand production seven-fold in 2017, a complete turn-around for a company that a few years ago, wasn't even able to pay it's workers; it barely remained afloat.

That's when oil prices tumbled from around 60 dollars per barrel to below 30, partly because OPEC and it's allies, including Russia, decided to keep global production high, even as demand slipped.

Many describe the move as a price war designed punish America's oil industry.

In 2015, through the middle of 2016, oil prices took a precipitous drop and the basin struck the country, the vast majority, that we're not economic anymore.

But, OPEC this year finally agreed to cut production, helping to stabilize global oil prices; that fact, and basic geology, means the Permian Basin is now back in action.

It's relatively cheap to drill out here and it changed last year in long-standing U.S. law now allows American oil producers to export their crude overseas.

The giants are getting into the land rush, as well. Exxon Mobile, the world's largest publicly-traded oil producer, earlier this year paid nearly seven billion dollars to double it's holdings in the Permian Basin.

But hanging over all this activity is a question: how long will the higher oil prices last?

The eyes of the global oil industry are focused here, on West Texas, especially as oil production increases.

Texas, right now, pumps more than two million barrels of oil per day, and that number is rising.

OPEC leaders are meeting in Vienna later this month to decide whether and how long to extend their production cuts.

A change in policy, while unlikely, could upend the Permian shale boom all over again.

Why Sugaring Is The Best Type Of Hair Removal | Macro Beauty | Refinery29 - Duration: 6:37.

The way we apply the sugar paste – it kind of seeps into the hair follicle, wraps around

the hair, and then it pulls it out.

The craft is always being perfected.

It's like an art of hair removal.

My name is Page Ellson and I'm gonna get sugared today.

Since I was a gymnast I was in a leotard all the time.

I think I was about 9 when someone pointed out my leg hair and I was like, "Mom

do I need to start shaving?"

And she was like, "No you're just a little girl, stop."

And I was like, "Mom, I need to remove my hair."

I think I started shaving my legs when I was 10.

It took me a while to learn how to do it.

Getting a cut on your ankle is the worst kind of razor cut to get.

What I know about Sugaring - I know it's…

I feel like I've heard it's more natural and you have longer lasting results of your

hair removal.

My name is Danielle and I am the owner of Sugaring LA.

I started sugaring about 13 years ago.

I had terrible skin and I was trying to find different natural ways to heal myself and

my skin.

It led me into beauty school and how I can take care of it from the inside-out.

But then I also learned this great art of Sugaring hair removal that I just fell in

love with.

At Sugaring LA, I think we're 6 years later, and we have 5 Sugaring salons along the west

coast.

It's really exciting to see how quickly it's grown and how well people really took

to it.

Yeah I've had bad waxing experiences before.

Where they ripped off my skin a little bit.

And so I'd have weird strip marks on my forehead.

That happened one time and I was like, "Mmm no."

We get a lot of clients that come and see us coming from waxing or shaving, and having

to shave your skin everyday.

Getting that irritation from the constant friction.

You can get really bad razor burn if you try to shave everyday and the ingrown hairs that

you can get with shaving are terrible.

Waxing half the time it just breaks your hair or the hyper pigmentation you can get from

repeatedly waxing your skin and pulling on the skin.

Epilators kind of pull your hair out in every direction and then it's gonna start deforming

your hair follicle.

With Nair it's like using Drano on your skin.

It just kind of burns down into the hair follicle as far as it decides to go so you're not

actually going to pull it out and get the results.

Laser, you know… the last letter in laser is "R" for radiation.

Plucking is going to take you a really long time.

You're always going to have hair because you're always puling them out at different

times.

We don't use any sticks, or strips, and no double dips.

Our signature paste is made of lemon, lemon is our natural preservative.

Sugar, sugar is a natural healer.

And then water.

And they're all organic ingredients.

It's literally just a gloved hand and one ball.

So we have a ball, and this one ball is your ball and your ball only.

We apply it against the hair growth,

and it seeps into the follicle, wraps around the

hair,

and then as we flick, it's removing the hair in the natural direction.

Because you're a shaver, your hair isn't weakened or thinner and finer yet.

But because she has thicker skin, dead skin cells, and she's been shaving.

I get a lot the first time but then I'm loosening it as I'm flicking and I got to

go back over.

And so it starts to turn this color because it picks up all the dead skin cells and all

the hair.

We're able to kind of go over the area a few times because it's just exfoliating

the dead skin cells.

So it's very thorough.

We don't miss a hair.

Just the quality of my skin looks better.

She took off a lot of dead skin cells and told me how to exfoliate and stuff so my skin

on my legs looks better in general.

So the sugaring felt similar to waxing but I actually thought it was a little less painful.

Probably because it's not hot.

I definitely want to go back when the hair starts growing back because I want to keep that.

And I can just tell my skin is already really happy about it so I definitely want to start

transitioning into Sugaring.

It was a peaceful process and it was nice.

It's kind of an emotional release, you know, for them who have been holding this stuff

that really gives them body image issues and to be able to free people of those is great.

And that's some of the favorite parts of what I do and why I Sugar.

Thank you so much for watching.

Myth 28: Fertility Awareness is Only About Sex and Fertility - Duration: 1:02.

Hi, everyone!

I'm back with the last myth!

Fertility awareness is only about sex and fertility.

Absolutely not!

While fertility awareness is the daily observations of your signs of fertility and infertility,

body literacy is the self-knowledge you gain from understanding your cycle.

Your menstrual cycle is your ultimate guide to befriending yourself

and getting to know all parts of you

(that's all 4 phases!)

And this will completely change the way you live your life.

What you eat,

how you exercise,

who you date,

what job you take,

whether or not you go out salsa dancing

or stay at home and read a good book.

You'll begin to live your life by your own rhythm, follow your own sense of timing,

listen to your own intuition.

Plus, it's a super-secret, menstruator-only awesome mindfulness tool

that we get to tap into every night we chart.

So it all starts with fertility awareness but it evolves into body literacy.

Enjoy getting to know yourself!

What is Gerrymandering? - Duration: 3:12.

Welcome to I Am Your Target Demographic and today we're discussing the term "Gerrymandering"

and what that means.

It began as something called redistricting, which is where the lines that divide and makeup

sections of a city or state are redrawn and changed.

In 1812 in the US state of Massachusetts, governor Elbridge Gerry redrew these lines

and the district was so weirdly shaped that it was satirized and turned into a dragon-like

salamander, some people calling it the Gerrymander.

So now, when politicians redraw these lines to benefit their own party or interests, we

call it gerrymandering.

So how does this gerrymandering work?

For the sake of this video, let's use a common device to explain gerrymandering and

you might've seen this visual before.

We have 50 blocks which represent the voting base.

Let's pretend that most, just over half, are blue squares and the rest are red squares.

This could stand for anything but typically stands for their political affiliation.

In a straight up vote, it should come to a 3 vs 2 result in favor of the blue.

There are more blues total, so this makes sense.

This first voting structure assumes that 3 geographical areas are entirely blue and 2

entirely red, which is never the case.

Our second choice to split this up are districts which evenly split them up.

Each geographical area has six blue squares and four red squares.

Again, since blue outnumbers red in every district, blue gets the victory again.

Gerrymandering is done to somehow get a victory when you can't trust these traditional methods

and you might need to fudge the lines.

We need to split the city or state up and we want to give the victory to red this time

because in this scenario, that is our desired outcome.

We split up the district in weird shapes, just like the salamander.

This first shape emphasizes a method in redistricting called "stacking."

If we know that we need 3 of the 5 districts, at least, to score mostly red, then it'd

make sense to pack as many blues into one district as possible.

So here, we stack them into the first district and let's do the same with another.

That means that very little blues are left, so our remaining one two three districts are

dominated by reds, giving us a 3 over 2 result, favoring red.

Two districts stacked with blues, three districts dominated by red.

In real life, you can see that these districts look just as silly.

You'd think how is this allowed?

Well, it is but luckily more and more folks are becoming savvy to it and even redistricting

back in favor of a fair map that's actually drawn in a way that makes sense.

Thank you so much for watching our video on gerrymandering! If you want to learn about other

words that you maybe don't quite know what they mean, check out our Word Up playlist

This is My Ability: Blake Leeper - Duration: 3:48.

I was about 17-18 years old, and I got my first pair of running blades.

My prosthetist was putting the legs together...and as he's putting the legs together

he's giving me this 30-45 minute long speech... you know the first time I put

these on please don't get disappointed if it doesn't go your way.

I put the legs on, and I'm trying to get used to them... by the time I got on

the straight... I was full out sprinting. I could feel the speed. I can feel the

way the wind was hitting my face. I've never felt that ever.

In that moment, I knew that this is what I want.

My name is Blake Leeper I'm a two time world record holder, and I was born without legs.

I'm running 45's now... within the next year I want to be at 44's and by the

time I get to Tokyo, I would like to be at 43. You know what I mean?

Be one of the fastest top top five top six in the world.

There has only been what?... Less than 15 people in the world and in history or track and

field to run 43 seconds. "Yeah you know what we have to do."

Let's get it done

My goal is to be the first amputee for the Americas to run in the Olympic Games.

First double leg amputee ever. I was born with a congenital birth defect.

Fibular Hemimelia. So my legs didn't develop when I was a baby. Doctor said I would

never walk a day in my life... That's the conversation they had with my mother and my father.

I was fitted with prosthetics by the time I was nine months

so I had to learn how to walk on prosthetic legs. I remember I was playing

t-ball about five or six years old and this t-ball season I wanted to do one

thing one thing only... I wanted to hit a home run.

I hit the ball as hard as I can

and on my way to third base my leg falls off.

I could remember while I'm sitting there in the dirt with my leg... you know one leg

on one leg off... and I remember asking myself why me?

I don't get this... this doesn't make sense. This isn't fair. Why am I the one born

without legs? I always remember I was asking the wrong question.

So I decided to flip it.

I decided to take control over it. I decided to ask myself well why not me?

I'm meant for this... or why not me I'm strong enough for this.

Why not me I'm smart enough for this.

Those moments growing up as a kid... you know falling...

tripping.... leg falling off... that's the moments that built me for the person I am today.

You should never let your disability define who you are as a person.

I feel like we all face certain challenges... have some type of disability. Born short.

Born tall. Born without legs. Whatever it is... you should never be a victim of

your circumstances. Focus on the things that are in your control and that's your

attitude and your effort. I want to change the word disability. To change that

context to where not not only for me, but for the future. So when kids grow up

that are facing the same challenges that I have faced... they don't have to be boxed in.

To that word. To those assumptions And by me running on the track, by me in

the weight room... that's what I have to do that's what I'm going to do.

To prove them that

this is not my disability that this is my ability.
