JORDAN: the power of story,
and why this movie ended up being
important is because when you have
an actor like Daniel --
OPRAH: Yeah.
JORDAN: -- when you have a character
that -- a protagonist that the audience
-- the audience becomes the protagonist.
So this was a way I think for a lot of
white people to experience the world
through the black perspective.
And you -- I -- white people watching
the movie don't identify with the
white people in the movie.
They identify with Chris.
And that's why that --
OPRAH: Which means you've already
done something really
important and valuable. (Applause.)
