Why Is It So Funny When People Fall? | Y THO - Duration: 1:31.
Why is it so funny when we watch other people fall?
And don't lie, you laugh at that Life Alert commercial.
I'm Cat, and this is YTHO.
Science has proven that when you bust your ass, your legs slip out from under you,
your tailbone hits the ground, and shockwaves go up your spine.
This creates an energy field that alerts your friends and lets them know to laugh.
When a person falls on their ass, we laugh because it makes us feel more superior.
The more psychological distance you have from that person,
the easier it is to laugh out loud.
That's why it's funnier when you see a stranger fall than when you see your
grandmother bust her ass.
Laughter acts as reminder for
those around us to pay attention to the rules of society.
When you laugh at someone fall, you're not only humiliating them, but
you're reminding them to be normal and fit in.
Conformists laugh at people when they fall.
So in a way, falling is like fighting the system.
The more clumsy you are, the more you stick out.
Pro Tip, the most trending way to fall in 2017 is off a hover board.
The only time I've fallen, and it wasn't funny, was in middle school.
That's because I slipped and fell on a generic banana peel.
Slipping and falling on a banana peel is like the Jeb Bush of falling.
It's sad, but no one cares.
>> Get back to the business of creating a more peaceful world.
Please clap.
>> Humiliation, society, Jeb Bush, got it?

TATCHA Koyoto Cleanse Japanese Skincare Review | Euniycemari - Duration: 14:40.
right well what makes you know keeping
it together and moisturize member i mean
keeping it together is what keeps us
entity keeps his Senate will keep are
you guys happy monday and so today I
handbag with another video I feel a lot
better because I'm like catching up and
everything is going well we're going
back on track over here so I'm like
super have your back
so today video I want to do the review
on taches catch your pad chefs Japanese
skincare you guys are washed in my blog
I said you guys about how Monty had
bought it for me for my arm for
Christmas and I was really curious about
it officials tell me all about it i've
never heard attach it before and so when
she bought me a few of the items i was
like EA now i can try some skincare so
catcher we're going to get all into them
to you what it is how it works where you
can find it in my thoughts corresponding
so first let's start with and I don't
even know where to begin what attaches
ok let's start with what is attachment
if you've never heard of patches before
attaches the Japanese on skincare line
it from what I did
it's based off of the Geisha hand and
how they claims their skin or secure
bearskin enemies all the makeup that
they wore so if that's exactly what is
it is a japanese skincare line
alright it is a system so it comes with
a oil equipment very competent
exfoliator and a moisturizer and it also
comes with little are on the side that
you can buy like a little oil blotting
sheets ok so it is a japanese skincare
line system pretty much i received these
two items here so i received the oil
cleanser an exfoliator and then inside
of this i received the exfoliator i'm
sorry the moisturizer that is a sample
which I totally forgot that i had so i
didn't get a chance to
try this out so this will not be
reviewed because I didn't try it out
second to you how it goes
I totally forgot that was inside the box
yeah so I got the cleansing I mean the
moisturizer and then I received also the
blotting papers which are amazing my
life where can you find this before so
4.com is where you can find this bad boy
and I'm actually looking up here on the
phone live with you guys here
um you can also of course by neon
patch.com actual website but if you're
looking at a glance toward to possibly
find it i believe you can go in store
most likely have fun at the floor and
your location
she's going to go ahead and type in
touch aaah so if you want to
individually base attached a broken i'm
gonna give you guys prices and then
we'll get into the review on everything
attached of these here the actual
blotting sheets these are twelve bucks
filbert 12 bucks on the west by exit
bored.com this system and you see how
much the system is because it was two
items inside of here
here's twenty seven dollars for these
two here just these two
it's called the kono cleanse it is $27
ok now i do see a full set of this that
runs for it comes with a bit more
it comes with a lot more actually it's a
limited edition no one is $62 IC comes
with a bunch of a mess but you can
actually go to support calm and take a
little bit even sell the cleansing oil
by itself felt the the powder by itself
and the cleansing oil for 15 points
Oh 15 I think it depends on what size
you get ok anyway i can go on and on
about these prices but the cleansing oil
for 5.1 $48
and that's something that kind of breaks
my heart will talk about in a minute
because ya know that is how much that is
what I'm patch is that is where you can
find it that is what the system costs
now let's get into what the system does
for your skin like I said that if a step
process system so they gave you steps in
which you're supposed to use the items
in order to you know clean your skin so
the first step but you're going to use
the first step that comes in the system
is the kamilia the one-step Camilla
cleansing oil the oil
alright this is a 0.8 full accounts and
how you are supposed to use this is that
you are supposed to on a drive base with
dry hands you're going to put a quarter
amount can see your palm and then you're
going to massage it into your space
ok and then you rinse it away with with
warm water now it does come with a pump
which is amazing for instance are always
great and this is supposed to be the
first step to remove your makeup so you
use this when your movie and make up the
first step you put into dry hands
massaged into your face right hand
striped bass just will make that I
didn't see your face and muscle way all
the makeup and then you with your face
with warm water
ok so the only thing that it's in this
from what I see it's convenient oil and
there's something else
Oh Camilla and rice bran oil ok that's
all that is in here that are going to
melt away your makeup and remove all the
makeup before you go on to the next day
so that is step one
alright step two step 2 goes into the
polished classic rice indesign powder
it's not like dad and for the direction
of this are the size of this is 0.35
ounces directive I supposed to pick I
have
peaceful into wet hands hours to create
a foam and massage it into wet day for
10 25 seconds of organized and then you
bring it this is an exfoliator and what
is in this mystery was an exfoliator
crushed pearls rice bran papaya extract
or polished baby soft skin
the whole twitter here shifter however
you call it which makes it easier to
distribute the product
alright and then the last step of this
system of course is to moisturize so
they have a moisturizer here and this is
the touches simple moisture rich cream
and this is a sample and this will after
you cleanse if after you cleanse ok and
polish you're supposed to use a
dime-sized amount of this misogynist
your face the ingredients in this is
silk extract wild on wild time ginseng
root royal jelly and bioactive complex
ok so it's a blend of light rice bran
green tea and red algae and one thing
I've noticed about this is not that rice
brand is in all three of these products
ok so that tends to be like I guess
being but I heard before like these they
use our price milk or something on their
face of Japanese I've heard about the
benefits of rice milk and things like
that the skin as well so that's why
interesting
alright i think is the patch of dying
papers not disclosing about these is
that they are they have a little shimmer
cold-smoked about one for you guys and
you guys can see you guys at Google X
flecks of gold on the sheet which
is different because i don't think i've
ever used a flying ship that came with
my flex fold on it a little bit about
this this is authentic
this is authentic and was originally
created by goalie artesian and
discovered by geisha in the eighteen
hundreds for its skin benefits these
all-natural leaflets are powder free
fragrance free and handmade they are
suitable for all skin types
ok and then mrs. for a pedal fresh
complexion take the sheet Jimmy Pat a
single leaf let's attaches to the face
anywhere access excessive oil when a
decision would not disturb makeup are
still moisture from the skins use both
sides of the sheet this car after you
and it's biodegradable but that is the
set this is the system that is how it
works
so now how do I feel about it units how
do you feel about the patent system so
we're going to go in order starting with
the cooking oil cleansing oil is one of
my favorite items when i first used the
cleansing oil i was a little bit about
it i think i used about three pumps in
my hands to remove my makeup and it
didn't work did not remember remove my
makeup at all it lasts like the black
stubs you know all that and I was like
oh I don't know about this product so in
the next night I use it again but I've
decided he was about four five pops and
it will remove my makeup effortlessly i
went in and i just massage it all into
my big we should your roof and all that
and when i rest my face there was no
trace of any makeup left behind which is
actually really great this is better
than me using regular hova or almond oil
to remove my makeup because you have the
one with the makeup wipe afterwards
remove any other picture residue before
I wash my face the side right here you
guys
hands down this is my favorite part of
the mind it removes your makeup with
like nobody's business
it's not really fault they're really
demand really clean really really great
inch its really soft and just leave your
skin feeling really nice afterwards so
how do i use this
use this only at night when removing
makeup it says you can use it i guess if
you think of it you can use it if you
don't wear makeup but i personally i
only use it to remove my makeup at night
and it was amazing for that so that's
just how I use it every night for makeup
before I wash my face one of my favorite
products love it love it love it five
stars all the way
next we're going to go into the
polishing and polishing i use it in the
steps i use that stepwise so I'm gonna
use the clinic annoying first and i
tried to polish this is after i remove
my makeup because that's how you're
supposed to use it they say you doodle
clothing offers and then you do the
polish the thing about the polish that
it didn't make my skin still clean after
removing the makeup didn't make my skin
still clean and because I'm acne-prone
out said I'm happy like squeaky clean
but i like to feel like it's gotten
there and get something so this right
here
I tried that night after using the one
with the cleansing oil
I didn't like the way to my fellow
mexican fill it was really gentle on the
skin is that i can say but as far as
like the after makeup removal process it
didn't work for me so i switched around
how I used it and i decided to use in
the morning use it in the morning when
my makeup already removed and I don't
have any resident is already pretty
clean i use this and I like that it's
really really gentle visit great Foley
ater it does the job of exfoliating
gently and cleansing I want it is my
favorite for cleansing out of these two
items i do see myself grabbing this item
more often than this item and has been
like that so this is not something that
I'm too crazy about but I nonetheless
will do it I can throw it into my
regiment and be perfectly fine with that
life
we're going to bypass the moisture i
guess that i haven't used it so I can't
really tell you guys how are the lot
more Stryver play because some which
drivers for the baby i'm a little young
on me everything up in my face I'm so
through about alright and then lastly of
course I want to talk about the these
these right here
love these alongside with the these site
roof a variety ok do it this here
ok so first of all I didn't even know it
was going to leave the gold flakes on
actual skin i use it just trying to use
it and see how much it absorbs oil which
absorbs the oil amazing but when you use
these little sheets they leave behind
little flakes of gold on the skin
now they're not that flakes of gold
mysterious something like flakes are
going to scan like us when talking about
Italy like a little police behind little
flexible gonna in which give you a glow
or enhance your glove but when you press
it onto your skin it leaves this little
subtle flecks of gold but they're not
like a big chunk for outfitting your
face like gold flakes there like a nice
little stuff like if you look really
closely you can see it on the skin can
tell already
I am oily in areas and I don't need to i
don't need to highlight because my face
is a natural highlighter ok so i try not
to highlight and do all that because my
babies aren't actually naturally is
highlighting but this is something that
removes the excess of oil yet it gives
you those nice little flecks of gold on
the skin which just behalf of your skin
cells so yes so that is everything when
it comes to catch it
that's how uncivilized as I feel so far
there are about to lose two items that
may be purchased from this while there I
thought our amazing I feel like if you
had ever goal and get your hands on a
product from them i was they try these
out or just go and get the little system
like this and try it out
I'm what 27 bucks not too bad but Golden
definitely get your hands on it i like
you act like it's a great skincare
system is gentle I can definitely say it
is really really gentle and I just don't
use it the way that it sent to use it
but I feel like in life when it comes to
beauty and all that sometimes when it
comes to systems upset you have to kind
of make it work for you
they may say to what they do this with
this way but I learned that sometimes if
you mix and match things
they can work a little better for you
then would have actually already set in
place so with that being said that is my
review on the cachaça I enjoy it and
I'm really excited i got my hands on
this and get the guys so much for
watching be sure to rate comment
subscribe all that fun stuff and i will
see you in my next video bye

"This is a very high risk pregnancy" - Duration: 1:23.
And then like the main doctor, you know, started to give us the spiel of this is a
very high risk pregnancy. And the fact that we have identical twins makes
it...it's a whole other level of high risk because having identicals,
there're...they come with their own bag of tricks just them alone.
There's twin to twin transfusion, which is very very common. Essentially,
you have the recipient twin and the donor twin. What that means is like one twin
gets way more nutrients from the placenta than the other twin,
and they start...their amniotic fluid gets greater because they're getting more
nutrients and then, the one twin is depleted. So...and then they told us
there's different things and procedures that they could do to reduce those.
Which is, they would go in, take a needle, and reduce some of the amniotic fluid,
and restrict the donor twin to try to give the recipient more.
So it was just red flags right away with multiple births. It's just all these red
flags, and then he also mentioned reduction. He's like, you can always
reduce and if you reduce your chances of going early decrease.
This decreases, this decreases.

Einstein's Persistence, Not Genius, Is the Reason We Know His Name | David Bodanis - Duration: 5:29.
1905 Albert Einstein's mother thought he was a genius; his sister thought he was a genius;
his father thought he was a genius, but he was stuck in the patent office in Bern Switzerland
and nobody else thought he was a genius at all.
We had mouthed off to his professor at his university.
He didn't get any good job.
His department of theoretical physics was the top drawer of his desk and he would slam
it close.
And he had tried all sorts of things.
He was about 25/26, we had tried lots of ideas while he was stuck at the patent office.
Nothing had really come together.
And then suddenly in the spring of 1905 it was like a storm burst in his head.
He poured out one of paper after another about four of them were worthy of the Nobel Prize.
And the final two were Special Relativity and E=mc2.
Einstein once said he wasn't smarter than other people but he said I have the persistence
of a mule.
And he was really honest about it.
When he was a little kid and he made card castles he'd make layer after layer after
layer of card castles and if they blew down well he'd take a deep breath and build it
up again.
So he knew he wanted to understand how the universe worked.
He'd always thought the universe was like a series of books waiting on a shelf that
if we were really lucky we could take them down and look inside and there would be all
the truths of the universe inside there.
It might be the Sermon on the Mount for Matthew, it might be what he later discovered things
like E=mc2, and most of the time we couldn't look in those books, but occasional he we
could and that's what drove him.
All through his early 20s he was happily married at the beginning to a really hot young Serbian
physics students the only woman in his class and Polytech in Zürich And they had great
dreams of maybe becoming professors together, but reality got in the way.
He was stuck at the patent office and until 1905 when he was 25/26, he couldn't get any
fresh ideas and he and his wife they begin slowly to drift apart.
They didn't have money for childcare.
She was stuck at home taking care of the kids.
She couldn't really participate in his work.
In 1905 he did have this epiphany or or series of epiphanies.
He had great, great achievements and he thought he was home clear, but nothing happened.
The great professors in Germany one or two of them monitored his work but he couldn't
get a job.
He applied at one point to teach in a high school in Switzerland and he submitted as
a justification for teaching science in high school the theory of relativity E=mc2 and
a few other things like that.
He was rejected.
This was Switzerland.
He hadn't done the proper forms.
They weren't properly typed and he stayed in the patent office.
Some people take offense very easily.
They get a little negative look and they think oh well people don't like to me.
Einstein was not like that and he had good reason to think that people didn't like him.
In 1920 in Germany the opera house in Berlin was taken over by an anti-Einstein rally.
There was swastikas in the front row.
This wasn't Arian science, this was Jewish science, it had to be wrong.
And then horribly in 1933 his books were burned on the streets in Germany and they weren't
just burned by uneducated mobs in the middle of nowhere, the greatest university the world
had known was Gertingen in Germany at the time and the students there, the students
were so caught up in what was happening that they dragged Einstein's books and books of
other people and they burned them in huge piles right in the center in Berlin, in Gertingen
and in other places.
Luckily by then Einstein was out of the country.
Some of the major newspapers and magazines were charging him with they said they had
to kill him.
It's a variation they didn't just say lock him up, they said the next stage.
You start with one stage you go to the next.
Because he was famous he managed to get to America.
He lived safely in Princeton New Jersey after that.
But he was also a noble man and he realized he had to save a lot of people.
So he used a huge amount of his income and other funds that he raised to get people who
were in danger of death out of harm's way into the safety of America.
And there's some lessons for us today.
So after the first world war were vast numbers of people had died and machine gunned for
no purpose in Western Europe and, of course, even huge battles also in Eastern Europe,
a great number of people thought what could be worth it?
What could be worth sending millions of young men rushing into machine guns which are firing
our way and killing them?
So Einstein thought no war is going to be worth it.
Well, in the late 1930s with the rise of Hitler he changed his mind.
He thought this is different.
This could actually destroy all civilization so he didn't like it but he says yeah we have
to defend ourselves; we have to stop this terrible thing.
He himself was not allowed to work on the atomic bomb.
The FBI thought he was a security risk, in fact he wasn't a security risk but the FBI,
as usual, was being very, very cautious.
Also much of the atomic bomb, although intellectually owes the ideas to Einstein, a lot of it was
practical engineering and he wasn't an engineer.
He was good with his hands and building things but he wasn't a practical engineer.
So he actually wasn't involved in the building of the bomb.
And then in 1945 about a day after it was dropped on her Hiroshima when the news finally
reached America he was on holiday in Eastern Long Island.
He liked boating.
His secretary Helen Dukas woke him up she said, "Professor, there's this terrible news."
She told him what had happened then he woke up and he said to her, "If I had known I wouldn't
have lifted a finger."

6 Steps To Turn Your Business Idea Into Success – WhatAVenture - Duration: 9:31.
Hello everyone and welcome to the introduction video for our 6-step process.
We developed this process together with leading international accelerators,
with entrepreneurs across Europe and by supporting more than 2.000 teams.
But basically, this process helps corporate teams, as well as startups,
to develop their business idea
step-by-step
into a product or a service which is investment ready.
My name is Stefan Perkmann Berger,
I'm co-founder of WhatAVenture and managing director.
So why did we even bother about developing this process?
We realized that when we develop business ideas,
we kind of tend to make the same mistakes:
which are that we don't address the relevant customer needs,
we kind of spend too much time developing a solution which then,
at the end, doesn't really create a benefit,
we have a weak business model
and very often we don't really have a competitive advantage.
So, what that means,
is that it takes us a very long time with our solutions to really enter the market.
And very often it also means that our ideas fail very quickly.
Now let me walk you through our 6-step process
and give an explanation
of how we guide teams from an idea to investment readiness.
Alright, now let's start with the first step and this is Customer Exploration.
And this is really about looking into your customers,
understanding who your customers are.
What is the job they actually want to get done
and what are connected pains and needs?
Let's look at it with an example:
So, let's take Joanna.
You should have a very clear picture of her persona.
She might be 25 years,
her job to get done is going from a to b,
from her home to work and connected needs and pains are that she is coming punctual…
it comes with a certain cost,
it comes with a certain comfort etc.
Once you actually elaborated your customer segment,
job-to-get-done,
pains and needs,
the next step is to validate.
You know,
does this customer group really exist?
Do they really want to get this job done
and do they really have those needs and pains connected with it?
So, what we found out is that actually the best way
to validating your customer segment,
pains and needs is actually talking to them.
So instead of sending out many questionnaires,
we think that the most powerful tool is actually getting out of the building,
talking to customers,
chatting with them
and 10, 15, 20 customer interviews might be really enough to get valid insights.
Alright,
so once you validated who your customers are and that they exist and they have these needs,
it's really all about thinking:
"What is the solution?
What are the features I need to come up
actually to addressing those needs,
addressing those pains and creating benefits?"
So, let's take the washing machine, for example.
Very often when we think about features
and when we think about our solution we try to overthink it.
We try to come up with many features where we think they're really valuable,
but in reality, the customers don't care.
Let's look at the washing machine.
We analyzed the washing machine of our colleague
and it has around 72 washing programs.
But how many washing programs do you actually use?
You might use three, you might use four,
if you're really hardcore, you might use 5.
But do you really use 72 different washing programs?
Maybe not.
Okay.
So, the challenge is:
How do I understand
if the solution I have in mind really creates a benefit?
How do I understand if it really creates the core value I propose to my customers?
An actually, here it is all about prototyping.
And that is the second validation step here:
it's Problem Solution Fit.
So, this is actually about understanding:
How can I develop a very simple prototype?
Something very quickly
to understand whether I can really generate
the value I propose to my customers.
And sometimes actually it just takes a couple of days
to really come up with first insights.
Okay.
So, the idea here is:
develop a series of prototypes until you, what we say, "reach problem solution fit."
Okay, so what is the next step?
Now let's assume you developed your prototypes,
you validated that you're able to come up with a core value proposition.
It's really about getting a more holistic view on your business idea.
And here we actually
build on something which has been validated quite extensively
out in the market and this is the business model canvas.
And here we don't only look
the customer segment
and the value proposition,
but we also consider
the distribution channels and how do we reach our customers
on the relationship?
How do we keep a relationship with them,
what kind of key partners do we actually need to come up with our solutions?
What is the key activities we should focus on,
what are the key resources we need,
what are the major cost drivers
and what are the different ways to actually achieve a revenue?
Okay.
So, once we developed our business model
the next step is:
when we compare ourselves with our competitors,
so we do a Competitor Analysis:
Are we really unique?
Are we just a copy of what is out there, but just worse?
So, this is really about comparing ourselves with our competitors
and really trying to understand:
What is the uniqueness?
Where do we really stand out?
But not in terms of features, but in terms of customer benefit.
So, we do this by following a blue ocean strategy,
where you have the different customer benefits
and you compare yourself along with your competitors.
And a competitive advantage might just be
that you bring Joanna into town,
just cheaper, 20% cheaper,
or just faster, or more reliable.
Right?
And what is important:
You don't need to be good or excellent at everything,
but you should really understand
what is the customer benefit
you really have a unique a dvantage over your competitors, okay?
So, let's say now you have a clear view on your competitors
and you found your competitive advantage.
The next step is to focus on the market and focus on the market size.
So actually, what we all want to be,
we all want to be in a very big market.
But the reality is, that sometimes we might not be in the biggest markets,
sometimes we might be in a small market.
Okay.
And in addition to that,
I think what is important is,
to ask yourself the questions of all those potential customers I'm talking to:
''How many customers are actually converting to my solution?'
Are there many?
For example: talking to 100 customers,
30 are converting.
Or are there just a few
customers of whom I'm talking to converting to my solution?
And the step "Market Size" is really about understanding the size of the opportunity.
How big is the opportunity of the target market I have in mind?
Is the opportunity big enough?
And sometimes by coming up with quick mathematics you realize:
well, the customer segment I'm focusing on is just too small.
There are just too few customers around,
with a conversion rate having in mind,
to actually run a sustainable business.
Okay.
So, let's assume everything is good,
it's a big market,
it's a big opportunity,
the next step is then really getting into numbers and focusing on your Financials.
So, when it comes to Financials,
it's a lot playing around with numbers, to be honest.
So, it's many assumptions you're actually coming up with.
Now what is important is to understand:
what is my assumption?
When will I actually reach breakeven, right?
When are cost and revenue are the same?
When do I really start to be profitable?
How much money am I burning?
So how much investment do I need?
How many resources do I actually need, right?
And actually, this is also about coming up with different scenarios,
worst-case scenarios, good scenarios.
It's also about understanding your profitability.
So, this is all about numbers.
Once you have a clear idea of your numbers
and you also identify the major cost drivers etc.,
then we come to the last step in the WhatAVenture process.
And this is the Product Market Fit.
We know that when we talk about
startups or we talk about the new innovative solutions.
At the very end of the day,
it's all about conquering the world,
it's all about being scalable,
it's all about being multipliable.
So that means that you need to understand:
how scalable am I?
And how scalable are the different elements of my business?
How scalable are the distribution channels?
How scalable are my sales processes?
But this really is about understanding:
what are your core metrics?
What are your core numbers
and how can you actually increase efficiency, right?
So, this is all about Product Market Fit.
Alright, so this is basically
the six WhatAVenture steps with three validation steps:
Problem Validation,
Problem Solution Fit,
which is about prototyping,
and Product Market Fit.
And how can you access all of this?
Well, actually there are two ways.
So, one way is our hard copy way with posters
and our innovation book and that's the Innovation Box.
And so basically it comes along with the full process.
We use this box in workshops,
we use this box in hackathons,
in bootcamps,
so this is one way.
And another way is our web solution.
So actually, the 6-step process
are also accessible through our web solution
which comes handy when you work as teams,
you work collaboratively
or as an acceleration manager when you have multiple teams
you want to guide through the process.
