Numbers grow for homeless youth in Trumbull County - Duration: 1:33.

Several agencies in the area
depend on these numbers to
pinpoint different
needs.
First News weekend morning
anchor Abbie Schrader joins us
live in the studio to explain
how the homeless count works.
Each year the Department of
Housing and Urban Development
requires
every county to do a homeless
count. Trumbull County did
theirs last week.
And based on the findings,
that's how much money the county
will get to help
the homeless.
I spoke with Sister Jean Orsuto
of the Trumbull County Housing
Collaborative
to learn how the count works.
Once they're told the date of
the count,
groups of volunteers find
homeless people in the area.
They hand out personal hygiene
items...
Then volunteers ask a series of
questions... Which they can
decline to answer.
But one big question is to find
out why they are homeless. She
says their main goal is finding
housing for these people.

Volunteers go out and ask the
homeless a series of questions.

Collaborative.
She said they talked to about
twenty homeless people this
year.
Once they finish the county, the
numbers are sent to the state.
From there, the Department of

Sister Jean says for them, the

get the homeless into
housing as soon as possible.

they're keeping an eye on is the
growing number of
homeless youth... That's
considered ages 18 to 26.

Chocolat Frey obtains most of its cocoa from west Africa.

We are in the Samreboi region in the south west of Ghana.
Cocoa grows on the trunk of the cocoa tree in tropical regions and is mainly cultivated
by smallholders and their families.
Farmers can harvest the cocoa fruit twice a year.
The beans and the pulp are then spread on banana leafs, covered and left to ferment
for several days.
During the fermentation process the cocoa beans acquire their colour and aroma.
The fermented beans are then dried in the sun for several days, before being packed
in sacks for transport to Europe.
As soon as the depot is full, a large truck collects the cocoa and takes it to the port.
From here it is shipped to Europe for further processing.
Sustainable raw material procurement is an important aspect of M-Industry sustainability
strategy.
Chocolat Frey has been purchasing UTZ certified cocoa beans since 2010.
Around 80% of Chocolat Freys cocoa beans now come from certified cultivation programs.
The UTZ label is awarded to cocoa that has obtained from sustainable, socially responsible
sources.
The principle: Purchaser of UTZ certified cocoa pay a supplement for the cocoa.
Chocolat Frey is using it for training, to purchase production equipment and also passes
it on directly to farmers as a cash bonus.
In return farmers commit to meeting social an ecological UTZ criteria.
By going to cocoa sustainability we do three things: we help the farmers, we help the environment
and we also help the plants.
Part of the bonus payed by Chocolat Frey every year for the UTZ certified cocoa beans, is
used for social projects.
From 2013 to 2015 a water project was completed in collaboration with partners.
During the project water wells were constructed in the cocoa communities and training courses
on their maintenance and general hygiene were organized.
The Chocolat Frey sustainability team regularly visited the area to provide support for implementation
of the water project.
The team checked that the wells were workable, that the water quality was good and also asked
the locals if they were happy with the developments.
We used to have to go a long way to find drinkable water.
Now we have water right in our village.
In recent years Chocolat Frey has purchased large quantities of UTZ certified cocoa beans
from Ghana through a direct partnership.
During the funded drinking water project 85 pumps were installed in six different regions.
As a result more than 50'000 people now have access to clean drinking water.
With its wide range of commitments Chocolate Frey is making a valuable contribution to
ensure an ecological and economically sustainable cocoa production with a future.

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about swell skates from Powerslide!
They are pretty comfortable but designed for narrow feet. It's powerslide's tradition.
The weight of skates is stunningly light.
But on the rough pavement you'll feel uncomfortable, no magic here.
100, 110, 125mm no matter how big, they will ROLL you!
It's way better than regular 80mm setup.
They are not about falls but looks durable. Quality is perfect.
Sure they will live at least 2 maybe 4 years. After 10 trainings they still looks like new! Inside too.
Very hard plastic boot with great support of the heel.
But they have no laces in the upper part. And weak cuff ruins all the support.
The frame is positioned that way that the pressure is going exactly to the center of the wheels. It helps.
But when leg going a little to the side - you understand, that you ride 110mm
Depends on the variety. White wheels turns ugly right after the first skating.
But they looks like your sneakers! So narrow and beautiful!
You can change the frame and cuff, but not the heel strap. Colours are fixed but well balanced.
They are not for slides. It's scary on them.
They are not for slalom. Absolutely!
It's hard to believe, but they are not even for jumps.
They are not overpriced because have good quality, but the price is really big.
Skates are not break in, so be attentive when choosing.
Conclusion: 100% Not for newbies.
Because wheels are making you fast.
They are Perfect for fitness.
