 It sent the home crowd into raptures, and the win may have prolonged his career fighting at a respectable level for the foreseeable future

 A former heavyweight that knows Chisora very well is the recently-retired David Haye, who have violently clashed in-and-out of the ring over the years

 Before Chisora and Takam took to the ring, Haye predicted that it would be the French fighter stopping the Brit, and fans were quick to pick up on the fact that the two had sparred with each other in the past

 The 'Haye Maker' was rightly criticised for repeating himself time-and-time again, and it was during the fight that Haye's opinion seemed to sway

 Fans noticed his change of opinion, and once Chisora had sealed the victory, Haye came out with a pretty ludicrous statement

 The former world heavyweight champion claimed that Chisora is "world class" and "is now the man to beat" following the knockout of Takam

 We're not sure about that, David.  Despite an impressive win, it's debatable whether or not that Chisora was actually winning the bout on points, and with losses in the last few years to Kubrat Pulev, Dillian Whyte and Agit Kabayel on his resume, it makes Haye's statement slightly wayward
