Ricochet's Original Opponent for His WWE Raw Debut - Duration: 1:38.
Hi Friends welcome to C4E Wrestling News Ricochet's Original Opponent for His WWE Raw Debut WWE
was making changes to RAW into the second hour of the show this week because of Seth
Rollins' injury status among other things They almost debuted Ricochet in an entirely
different kind of match Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Finn Balor
was supposed to wrestle Ricochet during RAW this week However Triple H pulled hard to
get this match changed Triple H was able to get Vince McMahon to cancel the Balor vs Ricochet
match because he didn't like the idea of a babyface vs babyface He also used the idea
that Ricochet shouldn't lose his RAW debut and Finn Balor just won the IC Title Since
neither man could really stand to do a job they were partnered up instead which meant
WWE had to put Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush back together Finn Balor and Ricochet were
supposed to have a killer match but there was a big problem with the finish So the match
was changed This is not to say that Balor vs Ricochet won't eventually happen but
hopefully it will make much more sense when it does Friends what are your thought about
this Have your say in the comments section below

Prince Harry in Plymouth for meeting with Royal Marines - Duration: 3:07.
Prince Harry is on a special whistle-stop tour around the home of Plymouth's Royal Marines.
The Duke of Sussex, in his capacity as the ceremonial head of the marines, is meeting
troops at their Bickleigh barracks fortress.
He's also due to be whisked up onto Dartmoor to join recruits who have completed gruelling
basic training.
The visit allows His Royal Highness to see first-hand the capability of the specialist
teams within the Royal Marines and the display of commando spirit amongst all ranks, Kensington
Palace chiefs say.
He'll learn about the specialist teams within the unit that are at high readiness to deploy
around the world to deliver maritime security, support and training to foreign nations and
specialist amphibious support across defence.
It's a busy time for Royal Harry as his pregnant wife, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle,
prepares to welcome their newborn.
But that's not stopping him cracking on with his military engagements as Markle relaxes
away having enjoyed a glittering baby shower in the US yesterday.

Evidence for Big Bang Cosmology - Duration: 12:19.
It's Professor Dave, let's check some evidence.
Way back at the beginning of this series, we talked about how the universe was born
from a singularity 13.8 billion years ago, which we call the Big Bang, and we went over
everything we know regarding this event, and what must have happened since then to produce
the universe we see today.
We weren't ready yet to talk about the overwhelming evidence that supports this model, but after
having learned about galaxies and many other things, now we are.
Let's talk a little bit about the models that were competing with the Big Bang around
the time that it was proposed, and all of the separate threads of evidence that have
cropped up to firmly support our current conception of the origin of the universe.
Let's start with the first primitive demonstrations of a universe with a finite age.
This began with something called Olber's paradox.
This is named after a German astronomer, who in 1823, wondered how the night sky could
be dark if the universe is infinite.
He reasoned that if the universe were infinite in both space and time, full of stars in all
directions forever, and with no beginning in time, then every line of sight that is
possible should eventually arrive at a star.
If every line of sight were to reach a star, then the whole sky should be as bright as
a star, and the night sky should be as light as daytime.
Olbers himself concluded that since the night sky is dark, perhaps space is not completely
transparent.
But other thinkers that followed, most notably the poet Edgar Allen Poe, interpreted the
paradox as evidence that the universe must be finite.
They hypothesized that not every line of sight ends at a star, because there are not infinite
stars, or infinite space to contain them.
Of course, this isn't the most rigorously scientific argument of all time, as there
are variables it doesn't take into account, but it did set the stage for more substantial
evidence for a finite universe in the following century.
In the beginning of the 20th century, modern cosmology began, thanks to Einstein's general
relativity as a consistent mathematical description of the universe.
At this time, the notion of an infinite universe was still quite prevalent, with such prominent
supporters as even Einstein himself.
He made the assumption, on next to no evidence, that the universe as a whole was quite smooth,
with all of its galaxies distributed more or less evenly.
This simplified universe was referred to as homogeneous, or roughly the same everywhere,
and isotropic, or appearing the same in every direction.
These two assumptions together form the Cosmological Principle.
But his own general theory of relativity required that spacetime be dynamic and changing, and
therefore either expanding or contracting.
At the time, astronomers reported that stars were neither approaching nor receding from
our solar system, and Einstein was so convinced that the universe should be static, that he
introduced a modification that would reconcile this static universe with general relativity.
This was called the cosmological constant, which bestowed space itself with the ability
to expand or contract in such a way that precisely cancels out the expansion or contraction of
the universe, allowing for the static universe he envisioned.
Just a decade later, Hubble published the results that were used to demonstrate that
the universe is indeed expanding, with redshift values arising as the result of the stretching
of spacetime, and Einstein called his cosmological constant the biggest mistake of his career,
although current studies show it may not have been totally off the mark, for other reasons
we will get to later.
Once it was accepted that the universe is expanding, the Big Bang model was proposed,
but it had a competitor in the Steady State model.
This proposed that the universe was expanding, but has the same properties at all times.
In order for this to be true, the model postulated something called a C-field, which continuously
creates new matter as the universe expands, so as to maintain the same overall density
for the universe.
This seems absurd now, but at the time, it was more popular than the Big Bang model,
which postulated that the properties of the universe change dramatically over time, beginning
from an extremely hot and infinitely dense point.
So what was the evidence that cropped up to result in the discarding of steady state in
favor of the big bang?
This began in the 1960s, with Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson.
They were using a microwave antenna to study the emission produced by earth's atmosphere,
looking for sources of interference that would cause problems for satellite communication
systems.
To their surprise, they found a uniform background of noise in every single direction, no matter
where they pointed it.
After trying everything they could think of, including removing pigeons from the apparatus,
this signal just would not go away.
Completely by accident, they had discovered a smoking gun, the leftover heat from an event
just after the big bang itself, which we call the cosmic microwave background radiation.
This radiation, an emission of blackbody thermal energy, has a temperature of around 2.7 Kelvin,
just barely above absolute zero.
Because of the extreme isotropy of this radiation, detectable in every direction and not associated
with any particular source, its origin must have been from a time of thermal equilibrium,
when the entire universe was one opaque ball of plasma.
It was the era of recombination that we discussed in our overview of cosmology that produced
this radiation, just 300 thousand years after the big bang.
When electrons combined with nuclei for the first time, they immediately relaxed to lower-energy
states, and in doing so, they emitted electromagnetic radiation.
The radiation was then stretched out as the universe expanded over billions of years,
leaving it in the microwave portion of the spectrum today.
Proponents of the big bang model had predicted this cosmic microwave background prior to
this discovery, and had estimated its temperature at around five kelvin.
The confirmation of this phenomenon was the first huge victory for the big bang model,
as the steady state model could not account for such a blackbody spectrum.
But it wasn't the only stunning piece of evidence that would be compiled.
We can use the cosmic microwave background, and the recession velocities of the universe,
and turn back the clock, so to speak.
We just use math to play the movie backwards until we get to the beginning.
The math, in any of these cases, agrees with a figure of about 13.8 billion years for the
age of the universe, and that's the essence of the big bang model, which goes on to make
a tremendous amount of predictions.
For one thing, the model predicts that given the expected rate of cooling, there must have
been a period where the universe was just cool enough for subatomic particles to exist
and just hot enough for them to fuse.
This was the period of nucleosynthesis we described when we first examined cosmology.
This period should have been long enough such that about one fourth of the primordial hydrogen
fused to become helium, and when we look around, we do indeed see a universe that is about
3 to 1 hydrogen to helium.
A similar prediction can be made for the baryon to photon ratio in the universe, and this
also matches up with observation.
The model also predicts when galaxies ought to form, about a half a billion years into
the lifetime of the universe, and when we look as far out into the universe as we can,
we can see these early galaxies forming 13.4 billion light years away, their light only
now reaching our eyes, just as the model predicts.
The calculations associated with these kinds of predictions are too complicated to be shown
here, but if you go on to study astrophysics and cosmology, they will be examined in detail.
For the extremely early epochs, the ones where symmetry breaking occurred to separate some
unified force into the four we know today, we have particle accelerators to test predictions.
We've described the electroweak epoch, where the electromagnetic force and weak nuclear
force were combined as one, and particle physicists can make predictions about what kinds of particles
should exist at such high temperatures to mediate this force.
We can predict their mass, charge, and other parameters.
Then, when we do experiments by smashing particles together at nearly the speed of light, the
collision converts these particles to pure energy, by Einstein's E = mc^2.
For the tiny region encapsulated by this collision, temperatures and energies resembling the very
early universe are achieved, and the particles that existed in those early times have a brief
chance to exist again.
We use bubble chambers to measure their properties, and when they precisely match predictions,
that is a huge victory for the standard model of particle physics, which is intimately intertwined
with early-universe cosmology.
As we build more and more powerful particle accelerators, we can generate collisions that
yield more and more energy, thus probing earlier and earlier towards the initial singularity.
This will help us produce theories that describe the unification of the electroweak force with
the strong nuclear force, and maybe one day, all four forces, as they were in the very
first epoch of the universe.
And there you have the evidence for the big bang model.
The power of the model lies in its predictions, which although quite disparate, have been
largely confirmed by observation.
The temperature of the cosmic microwave background.
The distribution of hydrogen and helium in the universe.
The results of experiments in particle accelerators.
We make quantitative predictions, make some observations, and see that we were correct.
This makes the big bang so much more than some creation myth, because the model fits
the data.
All the data, of every kind.
That's empiricism at its finest, and it's the best that science can hope to do.
For this reason, cosmologists are about as sure that the big bang happened as they are
that the earth goes around the sun.
But of course, there is still more to learn.
Not just about the first few instants after the big bang, but other aspects of the universe.
Let's move forward now and take a look at the frontier of astronomy.

Frozen for 24 years - and still alive! - Duration: 4:37.
This is really crazy - Human life frozen for 24 years and now alive.
Can people soon be frozen and then woken up decades or even centuries after, when, for
example, their incurable disease can be cured?
The most important facts on the World Record for Frozen Human Life Now on Clixoom Science
& Fiction.

Emma Wren Gibson is a very special baby.
She was frozen as an embryo 24 years ago on October 14, 1992 and on November 25, 2017,
Emma was born.
Her mother, Tina Gibson, who gave birth, is now 26 years old.
When Emma's embryo was frozen, she was still a baby herself.
Huh?
How would that work?
Now let's start at the beginning: Emma's story begins in October 1992.
An anonymous donor agrees to provide her already fertilized egg cells.
Some women do this, for example when their own family planning is completed.
The embryos are produced in so-called in-vitro fertilization: Here the egg and sperm cell
are combined in the laboratory.
The embryo can then be transferred to the uterus.
In the US, you also have the option to freeze the embryo first.
It is done by certain clinics, such as the National Embryo Donation Center in Knoxville,
Tennessee, USA.
The motto: "Adopt an embryo".
According to the website, more than 680 children have already been born thanks to this technique.
There are estimates that up to one million embryos are being stored in the US alone.
They are also known as "snow babies".
It's a chance for people like the American Tina Gibson and her husband Benjamin, who
desperately want children but can't conceive naturally.
He suffers from the metabolic disease cystic fibrosis - and that stands in the way of their
desire to have children.
The couple took care of foster children and thought about adoption.
But then they learnt about the possibility of adopting an embryo.
The two thought about it for a long time, but then their decision was clear.
Tina got appropriate medication and there was a lot of in-depth research to see if such
an embryo transfer could actually work.
In addition, the family situation and the home of Gibsons was examined very carefully:
Just to see if a child can grow up properly in this environment; similar to a "normal"
adoption process.
Then time had come: The embryo was implanted in Tina's uterus.
The doctors tell the anecdote that at that time she probably said the following: "She
could have been my best friend."
And indeed: The snow baby had been conceived in October 1992 and was thus frozen for 24.5
years.
Before that, Tina and Benjamin actually had the choice.
From about 300 profiles of different embryos they could choose.
Tina said: "It is overwhelming.
There are so many - who do you choose?"
The couple decided, among other things, that it should be a child, which will not be particularly
tall as an adult, because they too are rather short.
Finally, Tina got a female embryo implanted whose profile best suited the Gibson couple.
The pregnancy worked immediately; The nine months were relatively straightforward.
Although everybody calls it a "World record" now, it's actually not that easy to identify
the oldest known embryos.
US companies are only required to report the outcome of the pregnancy, not the age of the
embryo.
In any case, a 20-year-old embryo was reported in a 2011 study.
The Gibsons do not care about any of that.
Tina says, "I just wanted a baby, I do not care if it's a world record or not."
According to media reports, siblings are probably also possible for Emma.
Because even more embryos with this DNA are still in the clinic.
Is this an indication that we can freeze and revive people in the future?
We will keep you updated!

Here's What You Need To Know Before Trading For The First Time - Duration: 6:50.
- What's up, Tim Sykes, Millionaire Mentor and Trader,
here with a very special interview
with my top student Tim Grittani,
who has $1500 now into over $7 million.
It wasn't easy, it didn't happen overnight,
learn from his journey.
(dramatic music)
- So I first got into trading back in February of 2011,
that's when I joined Pennystocking Silver,
and I got into it because really, I just wanted freedom.
That was what it boiled down to,
like I didn't go into this with the idea
of I want to be a millionaire.
I wasn't trying to get rich quick or anything like that.
I just wanted a way out of the only path that I saw.
And at time, I mean I had been working summers at State Farm
and I mean, it was a fine job,
but it certainly did not make me happy.
And I had been a finance major who really didn't like much
in the field of finance,
so I didn't even have the slightest idea
of what path I could pursue going down that road.
So trading, I mean it appealed to a bit of my background too
like the adrenaline junkie gambler,
who you know, I liked poker, I liked sports betting,
stuff like that, so it just kinda seemed
like the most exciting financial thing I could think of.
Like being a day trader.
And it seemed like a way to achieve that freedom
if I could be successful at it.
So it took a while, I mean I definitely think
it took longer than I anticipated.
You go into it and the concepts sound really simple,
and you just think oh, this'll be a breeze,
and I'll be like all these other traders
I see doing well.
And that really wasn't the reality for me.
I took three months to study before I made my first trade.
In six months I'd blown up my first $1500 account,
and I had to refund from State Farm summer money
because that was all I really had left.
And so I put another 1500 in,
and had learned my lessons and gotten more successful.
But it still took time to dig out of that $1500 hole,
get back to break even.
You know as I said started studying in February 2011,
and by the end of 2011 I was up $4000.
And then, 2012 is where the pace really started to pick up.
And by mid 2012, at that point I had graduated college,
I had moved back home with my parents,
and I was trading from home.
And once I felt like I had my feet under me financially
is when I could really get that freedom
that I had desired from the start.
And so I moved away, I went to Columbus, Ohio,
and have really been on my own,
with my now wife, since, but I guess I achieved
my goal in that sense.
Like I got the freedom that I wanted,
and I managed to also scale things up
much quicker than I had expected to be possible.
When it comes to advice that I wish I had known
from when I started that could of made the process
a whole lot easier for me, I think one of the first
main things that comes to mind is just being told
to chill out early and not try to do everything so fast
because that is what got me into trouble,
and end up blowing up my first account
is you know, I had no idea what I was doing,
and I was looking for some kind of guidance.
So I was in three or four different services,
and I was trying to just find anything
that sorta stuck out to me, and made sense
that I thought I could ahead and try on my own,
and find success with.
And that's not a bad approach but the problem
is that I was doing it all at once.
And so I mean, I was under the Pattern Day Trader Rule.
I had a few different brokers,
so nine day trades a week.
But I had a dozen different strategies I wanted
to try to trade with.
And that's just way too much when you're new
because instead of really trying to master one
or two things, I was trying to be good at 12 things
that I didn't really understand all that well.
So it really was no surprise that I blew it off my account
and a lot of it came from trying to short sell
before I was ready mentally.
Because it is a different thing mentally
and it's a lot riskier because a short sell is potentially
unlimited losses if you're not cutting it.
And that scared me knowing that fact.
So I got into short selling saying I'm going
to be very good about cutting my losses.
And really I was too good because what happened would be
I was trying to short a pump and dump that basically
traded sideways for three weeks.
And I knew the fundamental idea.
I said, okay this is a pump.
It's eventually going to go to zero.
And yeah, eventually it went to zero.
But during the three weeks it was going sideways.
Every dip where it looked like it was supposed to crack,
I would short.
And then they would support it and it would pump back up
a little bit and I'd get scared because I'm so psyched out
by shorting and I'd take a two or three cent
per share loss plus commissions.
And I did that over and over and over again
and just chewed myself up.
And that's really the key example I think of with one
of the things I did wrong early was just taking one setup
I didn't really understand and just going nuts with it
before I was ready.
So I wish I had gone into it with a little more patient
of an approach.
For new traders I do think that it's important
to try new things.
I do think that you need to figure out who you are
as a trader because trading is a very personal thing.
What works for me may not work for you.
And all of the successful traders I know,
no one does things exactly the same way.
Everyone's got their own style,
their own little finesse they put on similar setups.
And what works for them is great.
But I see some traders who might be great at dip buying
and I know I'm terrible at that.
I can't wrap my head around it.
And every time I try, I seem to lose.
So I've cut that out.
It's not something I do anymore.
And you only learn that through experience
and that screen time and making your own trades.
So you have to balance it early on.
You have to be trading small enough size that if you do
blow up an account, you're not gonna be so badly wiped out
you can never try again.
But you also want to not do a dozen setups
like I did really.
I mean, take it three or four setups at a time.
Try different things.
See where you succeed, where you fail,
where you're comfortable, where you're not,
and then take that feedback from yourself.
Really what your emotions are telling you,
what your results are telling you.
And don't worry about what other people are telling you.
Let your own performance be your guide.

Royal Az - Meghan urged to stop being so affectionate with Harry for concerning reason - Duration: 3:20.
Meghan Markle has been urged to stop being so affectionate with Prince Harry by an expert who believes their constant touching could have a negative impact
The couple, who are due to become parents in the next few weeks, are nearly always seen holding hands and stroking each others backs when out and about at official events
Most fans love their behaviour and many have said it's refreshing to see members of the Royal Family so obviously in love
But relationship expert Sheela Mackintosh-Stewart is concerned about the behaviour and claims it could overshadow Meghan's important charity work
She told the Express : "The old-fashioned British value of humility is not Meghan's strongest suit and reports of her financial extravagance have grated on the public
"This image is overshadowing Meghan's extensive charity work and her patronage of the Grenfell Tower cookery book in September
"Modesty can translate to quiet authority and this is a powerful tool for winning over the public
"For instance, senior Royals never hold their spouses' hands whilst on public Royal duties, a tradition that Meghan and Harry rejected to the irritation of many
"It is unwise to pander to naysayers, but given the strength of backlash, it would be wise to take heed and keep hand holding to a minimum
Sometimes less is more." But many people will probably disagree with her statement, as the couple's fans can't get enough of their affectionate relationship
Writing on Twitter , one wrote: "This is unnecessary. No couple NEEDS to hold hands but if Meghan and harry like it and love to do it let them be it's cute and normal
and not something to be criticized about and if Kate and will don't want to do it that's also fine
Whatever works for each couple is different." Another added: "Honestly melts my heart how in love Harry and Meghan are and hold hands all the time it's just so cuuuute
" One women writes: "I'm 46 years old; have been married for 17 and I STILL love to hold hands with my husband
Maybe that is why Harry picked her, cause she knows how to be loving. not like some british people (as I know)
I'm mexican and we also are loving people. Love Harry & Meghan!"

26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all
the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the
boundaries of their dwellings."
If you were to ask a biologist, "What are the essentials of life?" he
would answer, air, food, water, light.
If you were to ask a pharmacist, "What are the essentials of
life?" he would probably give you a long list of trace minerals, and
important vitamins that you need.
If you were to ask a survivalist, "What are the essentials
of life?" he would say a shotgun, bottled water and a bunker.
But you are more than just physical life.
Life has a spiritual element and life has an emotional element
and there are spiritual and emotional factors that are just as essential
to life as air and water and food and you need these to really live.
In fact without these you are not really living, you are just existing.
You are not thriving, you are just surviving.
I want to begin by sharing with you the essentials for a balanced
life.
We are living in a rapidly changing world that is radically
different from what it used to be and it is my job as your pastor to
prepare you emotionally and spiritually for the changes that are
coming your way, because the years ahead are going to be very
different in ways that many of us have never even imagined.
We need to get ready for it.
So we are beginning a new series today that I
entitled "Living the Christian Life Today and Tomorrow."
What is it 1
going to take to live the Christian life today and tomorrow?
Today I just want to give you an overview of the five
essentials of life and then we are going to come back and look at
how to build these into your life.
1.
You will need power to live on.
You need that because there are a lot of things in life that drain your
life of power, drain your life of energy and strength and vitality and stamina.
Change definitely can rob you of energy.
Stress can rob you of power.
Conflict can drain your life.
Delay can drain your life of energy.
Frustration can drain your life of energy.
And everyday work can drain you of the power in your life.
Where do you get the energy and the stamina and the power to
live on?
Where do you get the energy to just keep going when you
feel like giving up?
People try different things: fads, therapies, pills, and things like
that.
But the real secret of power to live on is this: focus on God.
The more you focus on God the more power you are
going to have in your life.
God is the source of all power.
God has all the power you need.
Just look around nature.
His power is evidenced everywhere you look.
The Bible says, "Nothing is impossible with God."
He has more power than you could possibly imagine.
That power is available to you but you get it by focusing on God.
You get your eyes off your problems and you get your eyes onto God, onto
Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 40:30-31 says, "Even youth grow weary and
tired and vigorous young men stumble badly yet those who wait for the
Lord will gain new strength.
They will mount up with wings like eagles.
They will run and not get tired.
They will walk and not become weary."
God has all the power you need and you get it by waiting on Him
or by focusing on Him.
The more you focus on God the more you plug into His power.
If you spend a lot of your life focusing on God,
you are going to have a lot of power in your life.
If you spend a little time focusing on God, you are going to have
a little power in your 2
life.
If you don't spend any time focusing on God, you are going to
have no power in your life.
There is a word for focusing on God in the Bible.
That word is "worship."
Worship is simply focusing on God.
Some people think worship is a ritual.
It's not.
Some people thing worship is a regimen, rules and regulations.
It's not.
Some people think worship is a ceremony.
It's not.
Worship simply means focusing on God.
You can worship by yourself in your backyard.
You can worship with another person or a couple of people
in a small group.
You can worship in a large crowd like this.
It doesn't matter.
Whenever you are focusing on God, you are worshiping and
that is the secret of the power to live on.
How do you worship?
Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still and know that I
am God."
You need to quiet yourself, drop the distractions, center in
on God and His greatness and His love and what He wants to do in
your life – His plan and purpose.
The more you do this, the more you be still and know that God is God, the more
you are going to find yourself restored, renewed and refreshed on
a daily basis.
I want to invite you right now to pause, step back and be still and
think about God.
That is called worship and when you do that, the
power that is available to you through God comes through.
The same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead,
the same power that rolled the stone away from the tomb so people could
see that Christ is risen and is available to you.
And you will not make it in the years ahead if you
don't have power to live on.
That is your first and foremost greatest need.
But you need more than that.
2.
You need people to live with.
The Bible calls it "fellowship."
You were made for relationships.
You do need the power of God in your life but you also need people around you to
support you, encourage you and to fellowship with.
The Bible tells us that when God made Adam, He put him in the Garden of Eden, which was
a perfect environment.
No problems, no pressure, no pain.
Yet God looked 3
down at Adam in a perfect environment and said it's still not good
enough.
There is something terribly wrong.
And in Genesis 2:18 "God said, 'It is not good for man to
be alone.'"
It is not God's will for you to be lonely.
You were made for relationships.
I don't care if you ever get married or not.
I don't care if you are young or old, a Christian or non-Christian.
You were made for other people.
And God says you need people to live with not
just power to live on.
I recently read a study that discovered that if you isolate yourself
from other people, if all you have is acquaintances, no close friends,
you have no intimate relationships with other believers, other
people, you are three times more likely to die an early death, you are
four times more likely to suffer emotional burnout, you are five
times more likely to be clinically depressed and you are ten times
more likely to be hospitalized for emotional or mental disorder.
You were made for relationships.
In Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 the Bible says, "Two people are better than one because
they get more done by working together.
If one falls down, the other can help him up."
The next verse in that chapter says, "If you don't have
anybody to help you up when you are all alone, pity on you."
You need people to live with.
Fortunately God has designed a custom-made support network just for you and
it is called the church.
Church is not something you go to.
Church is not an event you attend.
Church is a family that God meant for you to be
connected to, to be a part of.
He wants you to have relationships and connections and fellowship in the body of
Christ, in the family of God.
Unfortunately, when you get busy usually the first thing that gets
short-changed in your life is your relationships.
You start skimming back – relational skimming.
The first relationship that gets hurt when you get busy is your relationship to God.
You start saying, "I don't have time to be a part of Sunday School.
I don't have time to go to Mid Week Worship.
I don't have time to come every weekend to church."
4
And if that describes you, you are too busy.
Your priorities are all out of whack.
You are going to get hurt in the end.
You cannot cut back on an emotional and spiritual need of
your life – people to live with.
If you don't have meaningful, supportive and accountable
relationships you are going to go under at some point in your life.
The Bible warns about this in Hebrews 10:25, "Let us not neglect our
meeting together."
Why?
Because you need it.
It is not just what you hear and learn, it is the relationships that
you build in those meetings.
It seems to me that time is flying by and we are getting older with
each passing day.
There are some things you need to settle in your
life, that you don't need to drag into the New Year.
You don't need to drag old problems into a new year.
There are some issues that you need to let go of now!
And deal with.
There are some addictions that you need to let go of and deal with now!
There are some bad habits that you need to drop.
Don't take them into a new year.
3.
You need principles to live by.
You need power to live on and people to live with but you also need principles
to live by.
You need a clearly thought out philosophy of life.
You need a moral foundation.
You need a code of conduct and conviction that gives you stability
when everything is flying off the wall.
The Bible says that you were created to have a relationship with
God.
That's why you were made.
And God wants you to live with Him in eternity by developing first a relationship
here on earth.
You are not going to spend forever here on earth.
You are only going to be on this earth 60, 70, 80, maybe 90 years.
When your body dies, that is not the end of you.
You are going to keep on living.
Where you spend your eternity and what you do in eternity
is determined by your relationship with Jesus Christ while here
on earth.
Every principle you need for life is in this book.
And the Bible says in Psalm 119:19, "I am a pilgrim here
on earth [that means you are just passing through; you are not going to
stay here] I need a map and 5
Your commands are my chart and my guide."
Everything you need is right here – the principles to build your
life on and to live by.
They are right here.
Today, more than ever you need to settle in your mind the
principles that you are going to live on.
What are the statements, the values that are going to hold your life up?
4.
You need a plan to live out.
You need an outlet for expressing the talents and abilities that God has given
you.
You need a plan and a place where you can make a contribution
with your life, with your talents, with your abilities in this
world.
You need a plan for how God is going to use you to make the world
a better place.
Really it all boils down to two options: You can live your life by
design or you can live your life by default.
You can live your life intentionally or you can live your life accidentally.
You can make the most of what God has given
you or you can waste it, blow it, and kind of drift through life unintentionally,
without a plan and wasting what God has given to you.
The truth and good news is, God does have a plan for your life.
The fact that you are alive means He has a plan for you.
God's plan for your life is service.
That is God's plan for your life.
God wants you to serve Him and God wants you to serve
Him by serving others.
How do I know God's plan for my life?
The Bible says in Ephesians 2:10, "God made us to do good
works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing."
Before you were even born, God planned the ways of service, the ways
of making an impact in the world that He wanted you to do specifically.
5.
Last of all, you need a purpose to live for.
Everybody needs to feel like his or her life matters.
You need to feel like you are not just taking up space, that you are not just using
oxygen, wasting resources, that your life matters and it counts.
That you not only have a plan to 6
live out but
you
have a purpose to
live for.
You need to know
your purpose.
In fact, if you don't understand your purpose, life simply does
not make sense.
Why bother?
Why get up in the morning?
Why go another day forward?
If you don't know your purpose in
life and you are not fulfilling God's plan
in life, God doesn't owe you one more day.
Sadly, most people never even discover God's purpose for their
lives.
They live
and die just existing.

This is why Jorginho will play for Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea - no matter what - Duration: 9:18.
The arrival of Jorginho to Chelsea was considered a major coup for the Blues in the summer
At Napoli under Maurizo Sarri, the Italian international was considered one of the best midfielders in Serie A last season and was on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in Europe - including Manchester City
The midfielder was announced as Chelsea's new signing just hours after the arrival of Sarri was confirmed
As a result, there was huge excitement about the two linking up again at Stamford Bridge
However, Chelsea find themselves in sixth position in the Premier League and have won just two of their previous five matches
That poor run included a six-goal thrashing at Manchester City and a FA Cup exit to Manchester United
As a result, questions are being asked of Sarri and Jorginho's impact on the Chelsea side
Sarri is set to continue as Chelsea head coach, for now, but the next few fixtures could determine his future
As for Jorginho, question marks still remain as to whether he has the quality to succeed in the Premier League
Across league and cup games this season, he has made 32 appearances, exhibiting Sarri's admiration of the midfielder
But in recent weeks, there has been plenty of backlash directed towards the midfielder
This is because his presence is considered the essence of what Sarri is trying to do in West London, implementing his much-famed Sarri-ball
Speaking ahead of facing Malmo at Stamford Bridge, the Italian was asked why he persists with playing the former Napoli controller at the base of midfield instead of N'Golo Kante
"In that position, I want a player able to move the ball very fast," he said at his press conference
"This is not the best characteristic of N'Golo. N'Golo is very useful for us, but this one is not his best characteristic
" Jorginho is the sort of player he wants to see in this role. Indeed, without that holding midfielder, Sarri-ball would not be possible - and means its creator remains persistent in playing Jorginho
But what is it that Sarri admires so much about the midfielder - and what is his role actually meant to be? Why does Maurizio Sarri play Jorginho as a defensive midfielder? To answer that question, it's probably best to understand his role more before his arrival in England
At Napoli, Jorginho was the lynchpin of the team in the well-known 4-3-3 formation that Sarri implemented
He was considered a master passer of the ball. Deployed as a 'number 6', the Brazilian-born star was used to gather the ball and provide line-breaking passes from the middle of the pitch
While he can demonstrate an array of passing ability, he relied more on clever movement and one touch passes as he strove to create openings in the opposition set-up
He was instrumental at Napoli in this role, especially last season, when they pushed Juventus hard for the Serie A title
Looking at some of his statistics last season, it is evident why he was so influential for his side
In Serie A last season he averaged 101.64 passes per 90 minutes with a success rate of 90%
The bulk of those passes were short and quick, with the idea of inviting a press from the opposition and exposing an opening to exploit
When those openings did arrive, he had the quality to execute good line breaking forward passes too
In terms of passes into the final third, he averaged 22.66 passes per 90 minutes with a success rate of 82
4%. As for Napoli, utilising the now infamous Sarri-ball, it became a blend of short passing and vertical breaking passing designed to disrupt the opposition's defensive set-up
The team retained on average 59.6% possession of the ball over the season, which suited Jorginho perfectly
Jorginho sat in front of the back four and would act as a pivot, connecting the defence with the forwards players in front of him and commencing quick passing combinations in order to start an attack
He was excellent in creating passing angles and understanding the position of all his team-mates around him
This is demonstrated in the below image from Napoli vs Crotone last season. Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly brings the ball forward, with Jorginho his only real forward pass, but he is heavily marked
With forward passing lanes blocked, Koulibaly would most likely be forced to play the ball sideways in this situation; however note Jorginho analysing the position of his team-mate to his left
Jorginho quickly relocates his position and gives Koulibaly a passing angle. The ball is played to Jorginho who plays a trademark one touch pass to his left allowing his team-mate to advance onto the ball and look to break through the Crotone midfield line
But despite the success of Jorginho and of Sarri's model last season, why is he persisting with the same this season with faltering success? Despite Chelsea's form recently, interestingly, Jorginho is still posting similar numbers this campaign for Chelsea as he was last season at Napoli
In terms of passes, although averaging less at 83.28 per 90 minutes, his pass completion rate remains at a similar 90
5%. For final third passes, despite a reduction down to 14.89, his completion rate has actually increased to 85
8%. For Sarri's 4-3-3 system to work, everyone has a role. For example, the goalkeeper must be a competent passer of the ball, the two centre-backs must be quick in order to hold a high line but also capable passers of the ball as they can often be tasked with starting attacking movements
Wing-backs must be capable of contributing in the final third. Attackers must be able to move in between the lines
However above all else, the model relies heavily on a technically gifted passer in the centre of the three-man midfield
From this position Sarri needs his deep-lying playmaker to normally play the first of a sequence of line breaking passes in order to commence attacks
Due to the close relationship with Sarri, and his unrivaled ability in possession, Jorginho is integral to this Sarri-ball model
Without Jorginho, the system would malfunction. Until Sarri is ready to ditch his model, it's unlikely he can part with his trusted lieutenant either

FOX TV - PRUDENT INVESTOR: Think twice when shunning shares for cash - Duration: 11:32.
In these uncertain times, many investors are holding large sums as cash within their Sipps
Yet they are invariably getting no interest on these deposits in their self-invested personal pensions
Not my words, but those of retired NHS manager Robert, from Torquay, who wrote to me a couple of weeks ago
I share his pain. I, too, hold cash in my SIPP as I hunker down through the Brexit maelstrom
Safe bet? Hargreaves Lansdown says about 10 per cent of investors' money was in cash this summer, compared with a norm of around 8 per centMany people who are retired, or on the cusp of retiring, may feel cash is a decent option, with uncertainty over world trade, growth and our coming exit from the EU
I tackled several major Sipp providers and was, in general, disappointed by responses which, in some cases, displayed a chronic lack of regard for investors' needs
People use Sipps because they want to harness tax benefits and enjoy flexibility over how their money is invested
This includes holding cash for shorter or longer periods. RELATED ARTICLES Previous 1 Next I invested in Neil Woodford's fund three years ago and since

Standard Life told me: 'A Sipp is a long-term savings vehicle. Generally, we expect cash holdings to be used for temporary tactical investment objectives, or funding for near-term encashment, or planned spending for those in, near, or at retirement
'AJ Bell says: 'Our customers don't typically hold much cash, and when they do, it is for the short term while they decide how to invest
'For longer-term holdings, there are cash and money market funds available as an alternative to holding it on deposit
'That may be, but both carry risk and tend to be poor value.Hargreaves Lansdown says about 10 per cent of investors' money was in cash this summer, compared with a norm of around 8 per cent
It's not unreasonable to speculate that this has increased through the autumn. So what are the big firms paying?Standard Life Aberdeen has three Sipps
Cash rates range from 0.35 per cent to nothing at all.Curtis Banks pays 0.1 per cent, though investors can get access to deposit options
Hargreaves Lansdown pays 0.1 per cent on balances up to £4,999; 0.15 per cent on balances above £5,000; 0
2 per cent above £25,000 and 0.35 per cent above £100,000.AJ Bell increased rates at the beginning of this month to 0
1 per cent on the first £50,000, then 0.15 per cent on £50,000 to £100,000 and 0.25 per cent on balances over £100,000
Previously, it paid nothing on the first £50,000 and 0.05 per cent above that.In each case, your money earns the only rate within each band
So if you had £105,000 in cash with Hargreaves or AJ Bell, you would earn the highest rate only on the top £5,000
AJ Bell in its report and accounts talked of 'retained interest income growing at a faster rate following the Bank of England's decision to increase the UK base rate twice during the period'But pension firms make money on our cashWhat's all the more galling is the fact that Sipp firms are making considerable profits on our cash
For example, AJ Bell in its report and accounts talked of 'retained interest income growing at a faster rate following the Bank of England's decision to increase the UK base rate twice during the period'
Retained interest is money the firm earns on clients' cash but doesn't pass on.Together, custody fees, retained interest income and investment management fees grew by 29 per cent — from £37
2 million in 2017 to £47.9 million this year.Hargreaves made 48 basis points on investors' cash in the past financial year
In rough terms this means if it paid you 0.25 per cent, Hargreaves earned 0.73 per cent
Its report and accounts says it anticipates that as Bank of England rate-increases feed through, the profit margin will increase to between 60 and 70 basis points
Put another way, if the rates it pays remain unchanged, it plans to pass on around a third of the interest it makes on your money and keep the remaining two-thirds
Earlier this year, regulator the Financial Conduct Authority proposed introducing a single, basic savings rate for all long-standing customers with cash savings
But that rule would not apply to Sipps. Best rates on easy access savings If you have cash outside your pension that you want a return on, but easy access too, there is a bit of good news, writes This is Money
After a drought of decent savings rates, a flurry of new easy access deals have hit the market
A fortnight ago two easy access accounts - Kent Reliance and Virgin Money - went head to head with Goldman Sach's Marcus Savings account with the same 1
5 per cent rate. Now West Bromwich Building Society has joined the ranks of the 1.5 per cent club, launching it's own bid to topple the Wall Street giant
Since its launch in September, Marcus has held the top spot in This is Money's independent best buy savings tables
Some providers claim they face regulatory hurdles. They also blame banks, which, they say, treat Sipps as trust accounts, meaning they won't pay top rates
Hargreaves says it has plans to offer both Sipp and Isa clients access to better rates via third parties — but not until well into next year
In the meantime, investors will have to take solace in the tax relief on contributions, which boosts every £1 invested to £1
25, effectively awarding 25 per cent instant interest. Even non-taxpayers get this boost on up to £2,880 of savings per year
Higher-rate taxpayers can claim extra relief, so they effectively put in 75p to get a £1
25 investment. That could be looked at as 66 per cent interest. But this doesn't help older retired investors who simply want to earn more on their cash
Finally, a word of warning if you are considering alternative Sipp providers.Greg Kingston, group communications director at Curtis Banks, says: 'There's considerable uncertainty about the financial health of some Sipp operators at present
'Make sure providers are financially sound and not mired in claims for toxic investments
'If you don't like what you see, don't be too shy to look around to transfer to a better, stronger Sipp provider that offers the options and features you need

Pray For the Wicked Book Tag - Duration: 17:21.
Hey guys, it's Brittany. Welcome back to a new video. As you guys can see from the
title, I'm going to be doing the Pray for the Wicked tag. The tag was originally
created by Becca and The Books. I will leave her original video down below
in the description box. I really wanted to do this tag because I do love Panic
at the Disco so much. I've actually gotten to see Panic at the Disco perform
a couple of times and I absolutely love them. They're one of my favorite bands of
all time. I really wanted to do this book tag because I really love the Pray for
the Wicked album and I want to do it so I'm gonna do it.
Fuck a silver lining, Fuck a silver lining 'Cause only gold is hot enough, hot enough
Fuck a silver lining, Fuck a silver lining 'Cause only gold is hot enough, hot enough
It's just cherries, cherries Everything is cherries on top
It's just cherries, cherries Everything is cherries on top
So the first song is Fuck a Silver Lining. The question that goes
with this is a book you didn't expect to like but loved or a not-so-great book that
had a silver lining that kept you booked. For this I'm going to go with Warcross
by Marie Lu. I actually read this for a class to do what's called a "digested
read" which is where you take a book and you boil it down to its plot and you
kind of make fun of it when you're doing that. I had heard through Goodreads that there
was a lot of times that the main characters rainbow hair was mentioned
and so I went into this book with very low expectations and I ended up
absolutely loving it. I'm sure you can imagine that I was very shocked when I
realized I actually really loved this book and then I picked up Wildcard and
I loved that even more. This was definitely a book that took me by
surprise, that I didn't think I would actually like but I actually ended up
really loving.
There's nothing else there for me at my door All the people I know aren't who they used to be
And if I try to change my life one more day There would be nobody else to save
And I can't change into a person I don't wanna be so, Oh, it's Saturday night, yeah
I pray for the wicked on the weekend Mama, can I get another amen?
Oh oh oh oh oh Oh, it's Saturday night,
So the second question is Say Amen (Saturday Night). The question that goes with this is either a book
you were thankful was over or a book you could spend all Saturday night reading. I
am going with the all Saturday night reading and that is Renegades by Marissa
Meyer. I loved this book I read the last half of this book in a day. The first
half took me a little while because I was on break and then I was starting
school again. I didn't have time to really read. The second half though, I
flew through. I love this book. I could spend all Saturday night rereading this book
because it's that good and that fantastic and I loved it that much.
All my life, been hustling And tonight is my appraisal
'Cause I'm a hooker sellin' songs And my pimp's a record label
This world if full demons, Stocks and bible traitors
So I do the deed get up and leave I climber and a sadist, yeah
Are you ready for the sequel? Ain't you ready for the latest?
Ain't got enough evil I'm gonna be the greatest
In a golden cathedral I'll be praying for the faithless
And if you lose, boo-hoo Hey look ma, I made it
Hey look ma, I made it Everything's comin' up aces, aces
If it's a dream, don't wake me, don't wake me I said hey look ma, I made it
Next song is Hey Look Ma I Made It, a book you felt accomplished for finishing.Tthis one's
gonna be The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss. This book is literally a
thousand pages. I have the mass-market, floppy paperback. This thing is a brick.
It could kill somebody. I'm pretty sure this is one of the books that put my
luggage over when I went back home because it's that massive and that heavy.
I was very intimidated by this book. I read The Name of the Wind the year
before and I really loved it. However I was really scared to get toTthe Wise
Man's Fear because first off we have no idea when the third book is coming and
second off this book is a beast. I did, however, listen to the audiobook of it
which really helped cut down my fear of this book but oh my god. It took me
forever to finish it. I felt so accomplished but I did finish it. I was
sad that I finished it because now I have to wait for the third book like
everybody else but I felt really accomplished when I finished this book.
High, high hopes
Had to have high, high hopes for a living Shooting for the stars when I couldn't make a killing
Didn't have a dime but I always had a vision Always had high, high hopes
Had to have high, high hopes for a living Didn't know how but I always had a feeling
I was gonna be that one in a million Always had high, high hopes
Mama said Fulfill the prophecy
Be something greater Go make a legacy
Manifest destiny Back in the days
We wanted everything, wanted everything
Next song is High Hopes, a book you had high hopes for but fell flat.
Unfortunately, for me, that's Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi. I'm sorry. I really
wanted to love this book because I do love to Tahereh's Shatter Me series. However,
it just was not for me. I didn't really enjoy it. I mostly was just trying to get
through it by the end of it because I was pretty bored actually. I feel really
bad saying that because I really do love to Tahereh's other series but this book
just did not click for me. I had really high hopes for it because I thought it
was going to be fantastic. Tahereh has a beautiful writing style so
I was looking very forward to it but unfortunately it just fell flat.
Broadway is black like a sinkhole Everyone raced to the suburbs
And I'm on the rooftop with curious strangers This is the oddest of summers
Maybe I'll medicate, maybe inebriate Strange situations, I get anxious
Maybe I'll smile a bit, maybe the opposite But pray that they don't call me thankless
My tell-tale heart's a hammer in my chest Cut me a silk-tied tourniquet
This is my roaring, roaring 20's I don't even know me
Roll me like a blunt, 'cause I wanna go home Roll me like a blunt, 'cause I wanna go home
My roaring, roaring 20s I don't even know me
Roll me like a blunt, 'cause I wanna go home Roll me like a blunt, 'cause I want, I wanna go home
Roaring Twenties, a book that makes you feel nostalgic. Of course I have to go
with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by JK Rowling. This was the book
that got me into reading. This was the book that started my whole reading
journey. It makes me feel nostalgic. Every single time I read the first Harry
Potter book, I feel like I'm coming home. I have to put this book here because it
is the book that makes me feel the most nostalgic and makes me the most happy.
I'm a moon-walker, I'm like MJ up in the clouds I know it sounds awkward
I'm filthy as charged, filthy as charged You're a sweet talker,
But darlin' whatcha gonna say now? The midnight marauders,
The higher never come down, never come down You can't take me anywhere, anywhere
You can't take me anywhere, anywhere I'm still uninvited, I'm still gonna light it,
I'm going insane and I don't care (Whatever they tell you)
Dancin', dancin' Dancing is not a crime, 'less you do it without me
'Less you do it without me Oh dancin', dancin'
Dancing is not a crime, unless you do it Do it, do it, do it do it (without me)
Dancing's Not A Crime, a book that Booktube makes you feel is a crime for loving/hating. This one I'm
going with hating and that's Three Dark Crowns by Kendall Blake. Did not like. I
read this book because I thought I was going to love it. It sounded really
interesting. Three sisters who are going to be competing against each other to
get this throne and they might have to kill each other. That premise sounded
awesome to me. However, it fell really flat for me. I was
really bored the whole time I was reading this book and I honestly wanted
to get it over with. I kind of saw the twist coming and I just wanted to get
through it. I have no desire to pick up the other books. I feel really bad for
not liking this book because a lot of Booktube and a lot of my friends really do
like this book but it's just not for me.
Orange juice, pour out half the carton Grey Goose, pour it, get it started
Good times, remedy your sorrows Baptize, don't worry about tomorrow
Shake it up, shake it up, now it's time to dive in Share a cup, share a cup, now you're screw-driving
Every weekend with your friends Every weekday when it ends
Damn it's all good, I guess This is what it feels like when you become one of
the drunks This is what it feels like when you become one of
the drunks Searching for a new high, high as the sun,
uncomfortably numb This is what it feels like when you become one of
the drunks Welcome to the club
One of the Drunks, a book that got you drunk and left you in a book hangover. That is Renegades
by Marissa Meyer. I finished this book and I didn't want to read anything else
except for Archenemies. However, I had to pull myself back and tell myself I
couldn't read Archenemies after I read Renegades because I would get the two
confused and I don't want to do that. I knew I had to move on to another book.
However, it was really difficult to do after Renegades because I really loved it. At
this current time I haven't read Archenemies yet. I do have plans to read it very
soon because I really love it. They just released the title for the third book
and I'm screaming and I need answers. I need to know what's going to happen in
this series. But this was a book that left me with a book hangover
Let me hear you say somethin' Sorry to get sentimental tonight
(That perfume lingers in your hair) It's just that everything reminds me of things
I thought I shouldn't have to see again See, the thing is I'm so sorry to say
(You need me don't you?) Someone still loves you
Someone still loves you Meet me, meet me
At the overpass, at the overpass Sketchy girls and lipstick boys
Troubled love and high speed noise I know you wanna meet me, meet me
At the overpass, at the overpass Sketchy girls and lipstick boys
Troubled love and high speed noise I know you wanna
Let me hear you say somethin'
The Overpass, a book that deals with difficult subject matter. This one I'm
going with Orange Volume 1 by Ichiko Takano. This deals with suicide
and mental health. There are two volumes to this manga. I obviously am gonna be
putting a trigger warning out there for suicide and for depression. It was a very
impactful manga for me to read. This was one of the first mangas that I read. I
absolutely fell in love with Ichigo Takano's storytelling and her artwork. I
thought this was a very important story that talked about suicide. The premise of
the story is about this girl who, a new boy comes into her class, and she starts
receiving letters from the future telling her what to do when it came to
certain situations with him and she starts to realize that her future self
is trying to help save this boy. It's absolutely fantastic. I really love this manga series.
Heaven knows that I'm born too late For these ghosts that I chase
With these dreams, I inflate, painted skies in my brain
Every day, I'm Carl Sagan in space To escape this old world, this old world
Some days I lie wide awake 'til the sun hits my face And I fade, elevate from the Earth
Far away to a place where I'm free from the weight This whole world, this whole world
I don't trust anything Or anyone, below the sun
I don't feel anything At all
I'm king of the clouds, of the clouds I get lifted, I get lifted
King of the clouds, of the clouds I get lifted, I get lifted
King on the Clouds, your go to book to lift you up when you're feeling down.
This is actually another manga series by Ichigo Takano. It's
Dreamin' Sun. This is the cutest manga eve. It's a manga about a girl who feels
like she is being ignored by her dad and her stepmom because they have a new baby.
So she decides to run away from home and she ends up moving into this house with
these three other guys and it's super cute. This manga also has a fun game in
it called to find Poko. I haven't heard anyone talk about this game. I play it
religiously because it's a corgi and I adore corgi's. The whole point of the
game is that Poko is throughout the manga and there's a certain number of
him throughout the manga you have to find him in those certain parts. Usually
he's outside. It's fantastic. I love the game. This manga though is adorable. I
love it so much. Every single character I adore. I find myself laughing out loud
whenever I read this manga. It is so cute. I love it so much.
Once upon a thrill, from a kiss to a swill We were swallowin' the nights like we had nine lives
Dead and gone so long, seventeen's so gone Dead and gone so long, seventeen's so
We were borderline kids with a book of disorders Medicatin' every day to keep the straightness in
order Dead and gone so long, seventeen's so gone
Dead and gone so long, seventeen's so gone It's the false side of hope where believers concede
And there's only memories when it's over So pour out some liquor, make it an old-fashioned
Remember your youth, in all that you do The plank and the passion
They were the best of times, they were the best of times

Of your life
Old Fashioned, your favorite book published before the year 2000. I'm going real old school with this. Pride and
Prejudice by Jane Austen. Jane Austen is actually one of my favorite classic
writers. I absolutely love her books. This was the first book that introduced me to
a Jane Austen. I actually read it in about sixth grade. We used to have to do these test
things where we would have to read a book and we'd have to take a test on the
things that happened within that book. We only did this in sixth grade. After that
I think it just got disbanded from my school. Well me being me
and wanting to read for pleasure and not read for school, I decided to go big or
go home. This one was worth, I believe, about 18
points. You had to get 15 points to be able to pass that thing and not have to do
it ever again. So I decided go big or go home.
Sixth grade. I'm gonna read Pride and Prejudice and I did and I got the 18
points and I didn't have to do that reading test thing ever again, thank God.
When I was in sixth grade, I obviously didn't appreciate the beauty that was
Pride and Prejudice. I did like the book a lot and I thought it was really cute
but then once I got into high school we still didn't really read Pride and
Prejudice because my school had very weird years when the curriculum was
changing and so one year we didn't even have like a set lesson plan of books.
It was just whatever the teacher felt like and then one year my teacher like
was having a kid and that was three months of doing Hamlet, which is great.
Because sidenote. He actually made himself look like the Kenneth Branagh
version of Hamlet. He looked exactly like him which was very scary and kind of
cool at the same time. However, I didn't get to read Pride and Prejudice in high
school. I actually reread Pride and Prejudice in college and I started
picking up on the more subtler funny hints in Pride and Prejudice of the
things that happened and I started picking up on Jane Austen's humor and
what she was making fun of. I fell in love with Pride and Prejudice again when
I reread it in college because I actually got the humor this time and got
everything that she was talking about. I love Pride and Prejudice. It is my
favorite classic book of all time and I will stand by that.
The moment you arrived they built you up The sun was in your eyes
You couldn't believe it Riches all around, you're walking
Stars are on the ground You start to believe it
Every face along the boulevard is a dreamer just like you
You looked at death in a tarot card and you saw what you had to do
But nobody knows you now When you're dying in LA
And nobody owes you now When you're dying in LA
When you're dying in LA When you're dying in LA
The power, the power, the power Oh the power, the power, the power
Of LA
Dying in LA, a book that you love that is underhyped.
This one is kind of a book. It started off as a comic book series and now it's
becoming a graphic novel series and that is Fence by C.S. Pacat, the art is by
Johanna the Mad. I've heard Books with Chloe talk about Fence but that's about
it. I really love this comic series. I originally read C.S. Pacat's Captive Prince
trilogy and then I found out she's coming out with this comic and I really wanted to
read it. The reason why is that she described it as Yuri on Ice but fencing
and I love Yuri on ice. I adore Yuri on Ice. I could make a whole
hour long video about my love for Yuri on Ice and why it's such a good show. Incase you
don't know what Yuri on Ice is about. It's about this figure skater named
Yuri who, he's really down with his luck. He is having a really hard time finding
his passion for skating again and then the biggest male figure skater in the
world, Victor Nikiforov, shows up to be his coach and it's fantastic. I
love that show. So when she said it was Yuri on Ice meets fencing I was like I
am here. C.S. Pacat is actually a fencer and a figure skater so she knows what she's
talking about when it comes to fencing. I find it really interesting how she's
able to blend teaching people who may not know anything about fencing, about
fencing while also having the story. I love this and it's going to have a hate
to love relationship. Praise. Bless. I love this book so much. It's so good. The first
bind up volume is out. I believe the second bind up volume is coming out soon
and then from there it is becoming a graphic novel series. I have all of the
original comic books because I needed it. I really love this comic. It's about this
boy named Nicholas Cox who he ends up getting to go to this fencing school.
It's a bit of a prestigious fencing school. However it's not as prestigious
as another one. Nicholas goes to this fencing school and he has this rivalry
with one of the boys who is at this fencing school as well named Seiji and
those two. Oh my god. I love it so much. It's so good. There's a secondary ship in
this that I absolutely adore. C.S. Pacat has managed to make the
cutest comic/what's now gonna be a graphic
novel series and I cannot wait to get more of it. That's it for this time today.
I had a lot of fun actually doing this tag. I really like singing along to Panic
at the Disco's music so I had fun. thank you guys so much for watching. All of my
social medias are linked down in the description box. You are not obligated
to follow me but if you want to, they are in the description box. Until next time guys,
take care and read on.
