Waching daily Aug 3 2017

What's up, guys?

Justin here for Complex News.

If you've ever wanted to protect the Earth from alien invasion, you may soon have your

chance—and you can make some big bucks in the process.

NASA is looking for a Planetary Protection Officer, and is accepting applications now.

The position may sound like something out of Men In Black or Independence Day, but there's

not much chance of you doing this:

Instead, the job involves trying to uphold the Outer Space Treaty of 1967.

That document set up the rules for space exploration.

In that piece of paper—Article nine, if you're reading along at home—it says that

all countries that go into space have to set up rules to make sure they avoid, quote, "harmful

contamination and also adverse changes in the environment of the Earth resulting from

the introduction of extraterrestrial matter."

Basically, we want to make sure that any no space microbes get to the planet from any

of the places we might visit, and that we don't accidentally send dangerous microbes

to other planets, either.

The treaty says that any mission to space must have a one-in-ten-thousand chance (or

less) of contaminating the planet with space germs.

The last person to hold the job, Caroline Conley, would like to see those odds even

higher.

"It's a moderate level.

It's not extremely careful, but it's not extremely lax."

The money might be another enticement to apply.

The job pays up to $187,000 a year.

But that's probably because it seems very difficult.

You need diplomatic skills, to deal with all the other countries sending stuff up into

space.

You've also got to have an advanced degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics.

But if you go through the gauntlet, you'll end up with both a nice paycheck and a secret

security clearance—and we all know the reason for that last part.

You've got until August 14th to apply and find out if the truth really is out there.

For Complex News, I'm Justin Block.

Is It Time to Stop Playing the Blame Game With Prince Charles and Princess Diana's Marriage? - Duration: 2:40.

Before Brad and Angelina or Ben and Jennifer, there was Charles and Diana: the OG celebrity

couple whose breakup completely and utterly dissolved into a tabloid feeding frenzy. Everyone,

everywhere, needed to know why they splitand most importantly, whose side they should be

on. Today, nearly 25 years after their separation,

the debate rages on. According to a new book, Charles was the architect of the disaster

(disaster equals entire relationship of the Prince and Princess of Wales, apparently).

Allegedly, Diana felt Charles spent too much time painting watercolors on their honeymoon,

so she destroyed his painting set in a fit of rage. Then, reportedly, he wore cuff links

with interlocking Cs, which she thought stood for Charles and Camilla, meaning ex-girlfriend

(and current wife) Camilla Parker Bowles. But heres the real kicker: The books

author, Penny Junor, claims Charles carried a picture of Bowles in his diary, which once

slipped out of its pagesright in front of Diana.

Its hard to believe that anyone as intelligent and well-read as the Prince of Wales could

be so stupidso utterly incapable of imagining what a new wife might conclude if her husband

carried a photograph of his old girlfriend in his diary, Junor says. Watercolors,

cuff links, and secret diary pictures? Ten points for Team Diana.

But maybe we shouldnt be picking teams at all. Yes, this latest revelation

isnt a flattering portrait of Britains crown prince. But, if one goes down the two-decade-old

rabbit hole of Charles-Diana divorce content, theres salacious mud flung from both sides.

Charles was in love with Camilla! Diana was a basket case! Affairs, for the both of them!

Like a breakup broken record, these rumors repeat and re-emerge time and time again,

offering new details but no real conclusions. Because, the bottom line is, the only people

who know what happened to Charles and Diana are Charles and Diana. And the only thing

we know for certain is that these two people were (at least at times) unhappy with each

other. tell us your thoughts in comments below. thanks for watching. please like, subscribe

Chit Chat Thursday with Taylor - Nutrition is for Everyone Part 1 - Duration: 3:42.

Taylor Carley>> Hello everybody!

My name is Taylor Carley.

Today, I'll be interviewing Alma Ellis from here at the Institute For Disability Studies,

and I am excited to get this started.

Can you tell us about yourself, and the new grant you are leading?

>>Alma Ellis: Well? Taylor.

You know that I've been at the Institute for Disability Studies for many years but my newest

project is "Nutrition is for everyone", and it is a project that is funded by the Wal-Mart

Foundation through the association of University Centers on Disabilities, and it's really focusing

on providing better nutrition for people with disabilities, and their families, and the

focus is fruits and vegetables.

Eating more.

How many fruits, and vegetables you had today? >>Taylor: Not much!

>>Alma: Have you had a banana, or an apple? >>Taylor: Ohm!

>>Alma: A tomato? >>Taylor: I don't eat Tomatoes.

>>Alma: Lettuce?

green beans? >>Taylor: I love Lettuce, green beans, corn.

>>Alma: Right! >>Taylor: Yes!

>>Alma: So we got to work on you a little bit.

(Laughing) You are going need to eat some more fruits, and vegetables everyday.

Have you eating a meal prepared at home, today? >>Taylor: Ohm!

>>Alma: So you didn't eat breakfast at home?

>>Taylor: No, m'am!

>>Alma: You didn't eat lunch at home.

Are you going to eat dinner at home?

>>Taylor: Yes!

>>Alma: Okay!

That's good!

And if it's prepared at home it's even better where everybody is so busy these days, and

we don't take time to eat home-cooked meals.

Instead; you know what we ended up doing is eating fast food, and we don't get the fruits,

and vegetables there that we need.

So the other thing is exercise.

Have you walked any extra today? >>Taylor: Yes, walking around through the hallways.

>>Alma: Okay!

Do you cook Taylor? >>Taylor: Yes!

>>Alma: Okay!

That's Good!

>>Alma: What we are going to do with Nutrition for everyone is going to go around this state,

and will have some nutrition educators that will work with us.

Some experts, and we're going to work with people with disabilities, and their families

on how like I have said; to eat more fruits, and vegetables, to prepare for more meals

at home, to get in with a little extra exercise to focus on being healthier, and decided that

we are at a good weight.

I am always trying to loose a little weight but not everybody is so this will be a fun

thing for us to do.

You know Mississippi is a rural state, and we are known because of our ability to grow

things, and our climate; you know hot, and soybeans, and corn, tomatoes; you know people

we can grow anything in Mississippi but we also as in some places as a food dessert where

it's hard to get fruits, and vegetables for a lot of people to eat.

So; this will be something fun, and we can look at what's the best nutrition for everybody,

and eating healthier, and getting moving, and you know it will be a lot of fun.

>>Taylor: That is wonderful, Miss Alma! >>Taylor: I hope you enjoyed part 1, this episode for

Chit Chat Thursdays with Taylor.

Please; look forward to part 2!

This is Taylor Carley; signing out.

Rihanna: Is She ACTUALLY Pregnant?! - Duration: 3:13.

Rihanna: Is She ACTUALLY Pregnant?!

You can have your Taylor Swifts, your Beyonces, your Katy Perrys, even your Demi Lovatos. (And that last ones really hard for us to say. Have you seen Demis bikini pics lately?).

For our money, theres no hotter, cooler, more stylish pop star than the ever-flawless Barbadian queen, Rihanna, a present from the gods, gift-wrapped in a dense cloud of weed smoke.

So were 100% not here for any sort of body-shaming of RiRi, and if we had the time, we would find everyone who talks sh-t on her Instagram page, smack them with a cotton glove, and challenge them to pistols at dawn.

That said, were a celebrity gossip site, and its our obligation, nay - our sacred duty! - to keep you apprised of the rumors surrounding your favorite stars.

So we would be remiss if we didnt call your attention to the many recent reports that Rihanna is pregnant.

Its not the first time that social media has been abuzz with reports that Ms. Fenty is expecting, but this time, some folks seem to believe that theres photographic evidence.

Much of it comes from a recent premiere event for Valerian, the candy-colored action flop starring Ris good friend, Cara Delevingne.

As you can see, Rihanna is looking a bit more full-figured these days, and that is not even close to an insult. Unfortunately, we live in the year 2017, which means the comments on her photos were largely ignorant AF:.

Shes def preggo, wrote one follower. She looks pregnant, commented another. One fan even took the opportunity to dredge up those old Rihanna-Jay Z cheating rumors, writing:. Congrats to her and JAY-Z on another baby. How droll.

Of course, pics from another Valerian premiere dont seem to give any indication at all that Ri is knocked up:.

So for the above photo, fans turned to old-fashioned body-shaming. Damn baby you gained some weight, didnt you? one person wrote. What is she eating these days? commented another. Ah, the wits of the world wide web.

These days, Rihanna is dating Hassan Jameel, and who knows, she might really be knocked up.
