HOW SACRED SCIENCE ADDRESSES WHAT MODERN PHYSICS IGNORES

In a recent attempt to understand how conventional physics explains reality, I began to

read Lawrence Krauss A Universe from Nothing

Krauss is one of those famous scientists like Richard Dawkins who doesnt find anything

strange about the fact that existence IS.

Instead he takes EVERYTHING for granted and attacks, like Dawkins and Bill Maher, the

low hanging fruit of organized religion and its dogmatic, unproven Gods created in our

image.

When I tried reading his book I got a bit frustrated and then checked the index for

the word consciousness, and when I did not find it, I put the book aside.

The question really is what exactly is nothing?

First and foremost it is a concept.

Nothing does not exist.

What exists is, well, everything.

Nothing is the word or placeholder we use for null similar to zero in math but

in both cases (words and math) they are human abstractions or interpretations of Nature.

As such they are a step removed from reality and flawed by the limitations of our own perceptions

and consciousness a fact that escapes many modern physicists but which was in fact

apparent to great thinkers like Einstein and Schrodinger.

As Ive noted, we can use the concept infinitely large to understand the truth about

and yet, for example, while we know what a prime number is, and we know that there

must ALWAYS be one larger, we are incapable of going to the next larger prime without

 now a supercomputer.

We cant identify the greatest prime, but we can inadequately describe it as infinite,

and as soon as we do we know that, yes, there must be another.

How he finds geometry within a vacuum, or what science deems to be nothing, is

similar in my view to finding code (DNA) running in our cells.

His description of a mathematical geometric structure potentially at the heart of nature

(or a vacuum or nothing) that has energy flowing equally in all (infinite) directions

is to me very dramatic.

It resonates profoundly (Nassims website is the Resonance Academy) with the

notion of dimensions that was described in a recent article on similar thinkers.

What I loved about the video above is how it directly supports the notion of As Above

So Below in the same way propounded by Rodney Collin that 3D may be infinite

at a lower scale; that is perceived as a line a level below (2D) and as a point (one dimension)

from another level lower (1D).

(So that, for example, what we deem infinite as the Universe is limited in our view (by

our instruments) to a perspective related to our relative (smaller) scale.

A year for us is but a moment for the Sun, or more accurately its relatively shorter

movement in its scale).

Nassim also relates this sacred geometry to nature, pointing out the ubiquity of Phi (the

Fibonacci sequence) in how life manifests, among many other examples, and of course relating

both Phi and Pi to the ancient monuments of Egypt and other civilizations that did not

suffer from our own myopic scientific constraints.

It was Buckminster Fuller who discovered the significance of the full vector symmetry

in 1917 and called it the Vector Equilibrium in 1940.

With all vectors being exactly the same length and angular relationship, from an energetic

perspective, the VE represents the ultimate and perfect condition wherein the movement

of energy comes to a state of absolute equilibrium, and therefore absolute stillness and nothingness.

According to the physics of Nassim Haramein:

the 64 tetrahedron grid is the seed geometry of what eventually becomes, with

more and more octave growth, the infinite holofractographic vacuum structure of the

entire universe.

As well:

64 codons in human DNA.

64 hexagrams in the I Ching.

64 sexual positions in the Kama sutra.

64 classical arts listed in many Indian scriptures.

64 tantras (books) of the tantrism, which is a form of Hinduism.

64 is the maximum number of strokes in any Chinese character.

64 is the number of cells we have before our cells start to bifurcate (differentiate) shortly

after conception.

64 is fundamental in computer memory bits and coding.

64 things are needed to be able to approach the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord according

to the 2 copper scrolls that were found among the 300 Dead Sea Scrolls.

64 is encoded in the description of the Tetragrammaton in the Hebrew Bible, which is the 4-letter

theonym YHWH which means God in Hebrew.

64 is the number of generations from Adam until Jesus according to the Gospel of Luke.

64 forms or manifestations of the Lord Shiva in Hinduism

64 squares on chess and checker boards.

64 Braille characters in the old 6-dot system 64 demons in the Dictionnaire Infernal

64 is the smallest number with exactly seven divisors.

Even The Beatles knew: When Im 64 (hehe)

This all could, of course, just be a coincidence (Nassims Facebook Page)

(Note: I find the use of the word octave extremely interesting in the context of how

Gurdjieff and Ouspensky use this same term for the energetic unfolding of everything

in their cosmology.)

This is the essence of both number and dimension to me, then both are pointers, as are

most philosophical statements, to a greater Truth that we can only know beyond the intellectual

that Being is a vastly infinite and intelligence field in which we (another unexplained

concept) operate temporarily.

And the true science that can help describe it needs to be not only scientific but

also reverently Sacred in the face of its immensity.

This is a notion to which todays most vocal atheists remain oblivious.

Ford Focus vs. Mazda 3 - Dubbeltest - English subtitles - Duration: 9:30.

The current Mazda 3 is quite a nice car, it's reliable, it's got interesting techniques,

it's got a nice finish, and it steers extraordinarily good.

It's one of the driving car in its segment.

But still, things won't go smoothly for the Japanese car. Last year, only 700 of them were sold.

That isn't a lot, so maybe a technical update might do the trick.

The sporty chassis won't be the problem, because this Focus here has also been aimed at driving pleasure.

Even though it's been around for a longer time than the Mazda, Ford still managed to sell 4600 of these last year.

And there are good reasons for that.

Absolutely, there are a lot of reasons to choose for the Focus. I think the sharp chassis is definitely one of them.

I mean, it still steers fantastic.

That's been the case for the past three generations as well.

The Focus has always been about a fun drive, the sharpness, the nimbleness,

and that hasn't changed with the facelift.

And when you look at it like that, the Focus and the Mazda 3 do match quite a lot.

Absolutely. Both of them are at the sporty side of the C-segment.

I'll have to say though, it's not only the chassis but also the steering which is very good.

Yep, it's very honest. Very direct as well, and you really feel what you're doing.

That makes steering this car a lot more fun than other mid-class cars...

I agree, but it's a little bit jumpy to my taste...

- Yep If you drive over those manhole covers,

the suspension gets quite the punch. That's something the Mazda does a little more refined.

It catches the force in a better way. You don't hear it as much as well.

But indeed, they're both on the sporty side of the spectrum.

Also, and this is quite a big difference, this Focus has got a small downsized engine.

It's a 1,0-litre 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine, one of the first downsized engines in the segment.

Is it still the best? - Nope, I don't think so.

I think the PureTech by PSA has taken the top spot. That 1.2-litre which produces 130 horsepower,

you also got it with 110 horsepower by the way, but it's such a nice engine.

It really wants to go. - Yeah.

It's very good. Also, the 1,0-litre TSI by Volkswagen is also very nice,

but that one's down on power with its 115 horsepower. - True.

But it can still get around just fine.

One of the advantages to this small turbo-engine, you've got a bit more torque in the lower RPM's than the bigger Mazda-engine.

That way it's quite quick. But, right now it's connected to the Powershift-automatic gearbox...

- And that isn't a gearbox we're very fond of, and we've never been very fond of the double clutch Ford-gearbox.

If you drive off, it stays in a lower gear for too long.

It just isn't good. - Nope,

it seems like it doesn't really know what gear to use. It just isn't very refined.

If you compare it too the DSG-gearbox from Volkswagen, this one doesn't come close at all.

This gearbox isn't the pinnacle of refinement.

Indeed, just look at the Ford-range. This gearbox isn't offered a lot.

It's like they already think to themselves; 'Alright, we've got an automatic gearbox,

we won't send people away who are looking for an automatic gearbox.' It's funny though, considering that it was once in the 'Trend'-trim.

That's true. Also, there's another downside.

It's the multimedia system. - Yeah.

Meanwhile it's a Sync3-system, so it's the third generation of their multimedia system which has been around for quite some time now.

And with the Focus-facelift, they've thought; 'we want to incorporate a touchscreen'.

So, if you want to actually touch the screen, you almost have to get out of your seat.

It just doesn't really work. You do notice that the car hasn't been developed with a touchscreen.

Yep. And it's not just difficult to reach, but also if you do want to use it,

if you touch it or if you're browsing the map, sometimes up to 15 options show up.

On such a small screen, the chance of you pressing the wrong menu, is pretty big.

That makes it pretty frustrating to manage while driving.

That could be done so much better, and that's something the Mazda proves.

What is positive about the Focus though, because it's little bit older,

is its price. - Yeah, because this very car €27.000, and you get a lot of car for your money.

- Indeed, you get satnav, alloy wheels, aircon, automatic gearbox,

and that's quite the money saver, because it's €2000 cheaper than the manual.

What else? There's no electrical windshield heater, which is a shame,

but you can order it 'on the side'. Because, that's what Ford's good at, the options aren't very expensive.

- Yep, they always have very good packages available. And that's something they always do very good.

I mean, if compare the prices at Ford with the competitors, they usually differ around €2000 to €3000.

That has always been one of their strong points, and it's still very good.

True, because the Mazda is more complete, but also more expensive.

Then, the Mazda 3. Generally speaking, Mazda's 3 has always been an expensive car.

But then again, a Mazda 3 is a very complete car,

especially this GT-M. If you want a correct comparison to the Ford, you're thinking of a Ford Focus TS in Trend-trim.

Then you have a car with about the same equipment aboard, only for €2000 less.

So the differences aren't that big, but the equipment isn't really the same.

With the Mazda you get split climate control as well, as opposed to the manual airconditioning in the Focus, and there are some other things.

But, if you get the GT-M version in the Mazda, you do get the lot.

- You really get everything. In GT-M-trim, you get leather, you can heat almost anything in the interior,

everything is electrically adjustable, you get adaptive cruise control, a heads-up display,

you really have everything. And that's a big advantage for the Mazda.

Another advantage in the Mazda in my opinion, are the controls.

- Absolutely, they've got a central button nowadays,

something Mazda explicitly chose for, and I think that's a good idea.

They're imitating the premium brands now, and when you're driving, such a button is a lot more handy than a touchscreen.

- Indeed, because if you're browsing in a menu and you know you have to move three options,

you just move the button three slots. Then you just know you're there.

So, instead of continuously looking at your screen, you just take a quick peek and then get back to concentrating on the road.

That makes it more exact to control, easier to control, but it's also a safety feature,

because you aren't looking at your screen all of the time. So that's very good.

The same goes for the finishing in this car, alright this is a more expensive version,

but even when you forget the leather everywhere, it's better looking right?

It's much more pleasant in here than in the Focus.

Right, Mazda is a stubborn little brand, and that's something they like.

Take the engines for example, they don't feel anything for downsizing.

Right now we're driving a 2.0-litre SkyActiv, producing 120 horsepower.

It's also available with its own automatic gearbox. A traditional automatic gearbox with torque transfer.

But it's pretty good at its job, don't you think?

- Absolutely! I mean the Powershift in the Focus can be very quick,

which isn't the case in this traditional gearbox. It's a quite slow gearbox to be honest.

It's very swift though, it does choose its gear changes very well,

and if you're really going to try, it's a little bit quicker than the Ford.

Even though it's got five horses less, it still has 210 Nm of torque.

It gets off the line pretty quickly, it's one second quicker to the 100 than the Focus.

Also, you can enjoy the drivetrain in this Mazda 3 pretty well. You can really feel the enthusiasm.

The steering is very good. It's not too hard, I mean it's quite sturdy but definitely not too hard.

The big thing is, this Mazda is light. And that's something you feel.

So you won't have to be travelling very fast to feel very agile.

Personally, the steering just comes short when compared to the Focus, that one gives you a little bit more feedback...

So you're getting a better impression of what you're doing... - Even though it's got a lighter steering than this!

- True! It's a fraction lighter but still more feedback, that's funny.

I agree, they really nailed it at Ford. This Mazda however, also has nice steering, just not as good as the Focus,

but it isn't bad at all.

Right, if you add up the numbers, you get a very strong and stubborn package.

So the most important question of all then; is it worth the extra €2000?

You do get more refinement, more car, but also a more modern car in my opinion.

- Absolutely. Especially when you're talking safety systems and stuff like the heads-up display.

Even the central button... It just feels like it's up half a segment.

So, if you want our opinion; that extra €2000, is more than worth it.

construction

season. Drivers need to be aware

of WHERE the

projects are happening and the

rules for work zones.

First News weekend morning

5-INTRO

Every year around this time, the

Ohio Department of

Transportation kicks

off its road construction

projects... This year the focus

is on "Safety in

Construction Work Zones.

Last summer, ODOT started work

on the i- 80 widening project.

If you've driven through those

areas, you know there's a lot

going on.

It can be frustrating when lanes

and speeds are reduced for its

for everyone's

safety. Accidents in

construction zones

involve more traffic funneled

into a smaller area.

That's why the Ohio State

Highway Patrol says the best

thing drivers can do is plan

ahead and be patient.

SGT. JASON BONAR: "WHEN WE HAVE

AN AGGRESSIVE DRIVER THAT

WANTS TO SPEED THROUGH A

CONSTRUCTION ZONE, WHEN THEY

DO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT, AND THEY

WILL, IT'S GOING TO AFFECT

EVERYBODY FOR A SIGNIFICANTLY

LONGER PERIOD OF TIME THAN IT

WOULD IF THEY WOULD HAVE JUST

WENT THE SPEED LIMIT THROUGH

THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE."

He says the speed limit in

construction zones on the

interstate in typically 55 miles

per hour, unless it's posted

otherwise.

You also need to increase your

following distance...

A good rule of thumb to remember

is for every ten miles per hour

you're driving in

Homemade Chocolate Buttercream Recipe / How to Make Chocolate Icing for Piping and Frosting Cakes - Duration: 4:28.

Hi everybody! I'm Jenn Johns welcome back

to my new, second channel. Here I'm

going to be doing a Buttercream Basics

episode again and this time I'm going to

be showing you another classic recipe,

today it's going to be chocolate

buttercream. So here in my bowl I've got

one cup of salted butter. My first step

is to whip it up so it's nice and light

and fluffy. Once we've got nice light

fluffy butter we can start adding in our

other ingredients. So obviously for

chocolate we need some cocoa powder.

So in this recipe I'm going to be putting

two thirds of a cup of cocoa powder into

my bowl there, the whole thing off at one

spot. Now a total of one kilogram of

icing sugar is here in my bowl. Icing

sugar is also known as a confectioners

sugar or powdered sugar and I'm going to

put half of that into my bowl to start

off with about four cups one kilogram is

equal to eight cups of the icing sugar.

So I don't want to put too much off the

bat because I don't want to prevent the

incorporation of the ingredients to

happen the smaller amounts that you put

in to start off with the better

everything's going to incorporate and

you also want to make sure that

everything is at room temperature

because that's going to help it to mix

together as well. So now I need some

liquid into there I've got one

tablespoon of pure vanilla extract you

want to get that in there and we're also

going to use four tablespoons of milk

i'm using a two percent you could also

use one percent or skim milk and then

we're going to put the mixer back on and

we're going to beat it on the low speed

until this comes together.

Once this first amount of ingredients has come

together you might find that you still

have some chunks of butter in there you

want to make sure that you scrape the

sides of your mixer down and you scraped

off your paddle as well so you can get

rid of those completely in our next

go-round. So what we're going to do next

is we need to add some more liquid so

I'm going to put in two more tablespoons

so that's going to be a total of six and

if you're familiar with my vanilla

buttercream recipe that I put up last week

here on the channel you're going to know

that this is a very similar recipe but

I'm going to add one more tablespoon

here so a total of seven and that's

because I added in that extra the extra

cocoa and that's going to need some more

liquid to help incorporate it better

then we can add the rest of our icing

sugar here at this point as well get

that into your bolt and then I'm going

to do my final mixing and I'm going to

just let it go on low and then once it's

mostly incorporated I will turn up the

speed just slightly to help it get that

nice whippy texture to it.

With my seven tablespoons of milk in here I've got a

nice fluffy buttercream now but I'm

still finding it's a little bit stiff

you can see it's struggling to get off

the spatula here so in order to do that

I'm order to prevent that and make it a

little bit easier to work with what I'm

going to do is just add some more milk

probably a tablespoon at a time until

you get the consistency that you're

looking for. Recipes like this you can

definitely play with if you want a more

chocolatey flavor add more cocoa powder

just make sure that you know that you

need to add some more milk to counter

that additional cocoa powder so we're just

going to whip that up and then we'll see

if it's good enough.

So with a total of eight tablespoons of milk in this recipe

you've got the perfect chocolate buttercream

for piping on to cupcakes for

spreading on two cakes you can keep this

it's best used within two to three days

make sure it's in a sealed container and

you can also freeze it for one to two

months and then when you bring it out

let it come to room temperature and then

read whip it. So thank you guys so much

for watching this episode of Buttercream

Basics here with me Jenn Johns. Make sure

you are subscribed to the channel and if

you want to be notified every single

time we upload a video or we do a live

Let's expose him to the world.Last Night Trump Turned to the Camera and Said 2 Words

that America NEEDS to Hear

Last night Donald Trump took America by the reigns and steered it back on track in an

unbelievable 60 Minutes interview that rocked the nation.

However, the most amazing moment of all came when the host asked him about the racist attacks

that have happened since the election.

First, Trump explained that most of the attacks were fake and pushed by the liberal media.

Then, he showed true Presidential poise when he turned to the camera, looked America in

the eyes and said to any REAL racists out there…

"STOP IT!"

See?

Now that is a real leader if I have ever seen one.

Donald Trump

"I am so saddened to hear that, and I say "Stop it," if it helps.

I will say this, I'll say it right to the camera…"Stop it."

Donald Trump knows that all the racist attacks, real or fake, have absolutely been pushed

by the liberal media to try and tear our country apart.

However, even knowing that, Trump still did the Presidential thing and addressed his people

(we all are his people now) and commanded them to end the attacks.

***Donald Trump is clearly not racist.

And his supporters are not racist, either, that's why it's key that we follow Trump's

lead last night and stand up to ALL discrimination, be it from a Democrat, Republican, or ANYONE

else.

If you truly believe in President Trump, show him your support by sharing his important

message out everywhere!America Just GASPED After Seeing What Hillary Did to Trump Supporter

Yesterday at Rally…

Hillary Clinton is definitely NOT known for keeping a cool head.

Still, when a protester yelling "Bill Clinton is a Rapist!" showed up to her rally yesterday,

all of America stood in awe at the way she reacted…

SHE LOST HER FREAKING MIND!!

That's right!

Apparently, Hillary Clinton has finally hit her lowest point.

nstead of simply blowing it off, thanking her fans, or even defending her husband, she

blew a gasket and went straight back tho her "Basket of Deplorables."

She told her paid audience,

"I am sick and tired of the negative, dark, divisive, dangerous vision and the anger of

people who support Donald Trump."

Wow.

Well, you know what Hillary?

I'm sick and tired of your husband RAPING women.

Not all Trump supporters are "NEGATIVE, DARK, DIVISIVE, and DANGEROUS."

In fact, that sounds more like you!

So I'm gonna now have to call on every Deplorable in America to share this out so the world

can see that we have Hillary Clinton beat!

This is our country and we are taking it back from the elite.STOP DRINKING STARBUCKS NOW!

Just wait til You See What They Did to Trump Today…

Ohhhhh man!

I cannot stand Starbucks.

Why the hell can companies not realize that people like them for their PRODUCT and do

NOT want their freaking political opinions?!

Now Starbucks has decided to drop their traditional holiday cups and replace them with a brand-new

pro-Hillary cup!

This is a total "screw you" to Donald Trump.

I present to you the "Shared Values" cup, named after Hillary Clinton's own "Stronger

Together" campaign slogan…

Yeah, Starbucks, we get it!

You want to stay socially relevant and your CEO is a HUGE Hillary Clinton supporter.

But you know what, I'm not buying it!

Look, there are plenty of other coffee places to go to that won't screw you out of your

political opinions.

Maybe try one of these:

Pete's Coffee McDonald's Coffee

Tim Hortons!

Buy a Homebrew Visit a local coffee shop and help small business

Whatever you do, however, do NOT grab a Starbuck's coffee.

Not unless you are comfortable with that money being funneled into the Clinton campaign and

Democratic Party in some way, shape or form.

We the people do need to unite.

We need to unite and tell these Corporations and Celebrities that we are not paying them

for their damn opinion.

If you agree and wanna help stop Starbucks and spread this message, then all you gotta

do is share this with your 3 closest friends of Facebook!CAN'T TRUST OBAMA!

Look At Sick Thing He Just Did To STAB Trump In The Back…

This story by Paris Swade.

President Obama is preparing to stab Trump in the back.

He is using all of his remaining time to push the TPP through congress, according to the

U.S. ambassador to Canada.

*** Look at Obama now!!

Look Obama is doing work.

Where was your ass when there was stuff to do.

Here is Obama's normal work day.

Obama has now spent more time golfing than any other president in history and now that

is about to lose his presidency he is working to pass a bill that will destroy America.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both oppose the TPP and it would make up 40% of the world's

economy.

We simply cannot let this deal go through, patriots!

This is a corporate money grab.

This will not bridge the wealth gap in this country.

It will increase it.

Right After LOSING the Election, Hillary Clinton Just Humiliated Herself in Worst Way Ever!!

Hahahahahaha!

Wow, Hillary Clinton is a pretty big embarrassment on her own, but this is LOW even for her…

Can you believe that she refused to give a concession speech last night after losing?

Seriously, it was so pitiful.

That's not even the worst part, though!

Instead of giving a speech to her followers, HILLARY CLINTON WENT HOME TO CRY THEN CALLED

TRUMP AND CONCEDED TO HIM IN PRIVATE!!

Oh, and it get's even sadder.

Instead of having the nerve to admit she had conceded on her own or even through her Twitter,

she let Donald Trump announce it for her at his own Victory Speech!!

That wasn't the only embarrassing thing about Hillary's failure tonight, either.

When she opted out of talking to her supporters, she instead sent John Podesta of all people

out to tell them that the election wasn't over!

WTF Hillary?!

So it looks like even with all of her lying polls and rigged votes, nothing could have

saved Hillary Clinton from becoming the laughing stock of America.

The only good thing that happened to her tonight is Donald Trump thanking her for her service

to the country.

In fact, I think she owes him a THANK YOU for being so cordial despite her nasty lies

and criminal past.

Every American needs to know that Hillary Clinton's reign is FINALLY over, and that's

why I need you guys to help me out by sharing this EVERYWHERE!!BREAKING Watch In Awe As

Melania Trump Gives Most Elegant Speech Ever Given!

Okay, So I'm just gonna go on ahead and say that the Trumps are an incredible family.

Donald is a strong figurehead, his sons are composed, and Ivanka will be the first woman

president.

Melania just shook the nation with a new, incredible speech (that Michelle Obama cannot

claim!)

***Now a new Trump has risen.

Earlier today, Melania shook the nation with a new, incredible speech (that Michelle Obama

She took the stage in Berwyn, PA and began with a simple smile.

Then, Melania opened up and told a story.

A story of a little girl growing up in the Soviet Union and dreaming of someday being

an American.

She told how that little girl made it here.

She worked hard and got LEGAL citizenship.

And now, that same little girl is about to become our next 1st lady.

She is that little girl.

It was a true inspiration to me."

I think Melania Trump is a true inspiration to American immigrants.

She is proof that hard work and dedication can pave the way to success in this country.

Information Technology (IT): What Is? - Duration: 6:16.

Hey, what's up?

John Sonmez here from simpleprogrammer.com.

I got a question about Information Technology.

What's that?

I almost tossed this question out because I was like, "Really?"

But then I realized that there's actually some value in this question.

Let me read it here.

This is from Ohad and he says—he's not sure about his name, he says, "Ohad pronounced

Oad I guess."

Okay, well, I'll guess Oad too.

He says, "Hi John, I tried to look after videos about IT at your channel and I found none.

I hope you can share with others by posting a video about what your thoughts on this is.

Jobs, what is IT, is it worth it?"

He says, "No, I'm not lazy.

I looked after information and I actually found some pretty OK stuff.

I guess I just want to hear one of your stories and your experience (if there is any with

this subject).

Thank you very much for reading this email.

Have a wonderful day!"

All right, so I don't mean—I don't mean to make fun of you.

This is a valid question I think is—and the reason why this is a valid question, I

mean because some of you are like, "Oh, that's kind of dumb.

IT?

What is that?

Information Technology.

What are you even talking about here?"

That's the problem.

I think it's pretty ambiguous.

I was just thinking about this when I was thinking about tossing out the question and

I said, "Well, wait a minute.

What does IT actually mean today?

What does it mean Information Technology?"

We kind of just toss it around and we don't really know what it means.

It was a little bit more distinct I think maybe 10 years ago, but now what does it involve,

especially for those of you that are new software developers, some of you are confused.

Honestly, I've gotten some emails, "What is the difference between IT and software development

and what does it encompass?"

In the corporate world, we call it IT and we kind of just know what that is, but what

does it actually mean?

IT Information Technology, this is my definition of it.

It's basically the entire scope of all the jobs and everything that's related to computers

and technology in business.

That has sort of changed a lot over the years because we used to have IT people and IT people

were the people that would come and set up your computer at your corporate job and install

Microsoft Windows on there and image your system and if your hard drive crashes they

would fix it and they would set up your network and all that.

I think there's still that part of IT, but IT is also now the dev ops people, the developer

operations people who are part developer and part operations people who do the infrastructure

and also make sure that the software gets deployed.

IT is technically you as a software developer, right?

You're IT as well because you're part of IT.

I think that was always kind of part of it.

Information Technology is sort of that whole big scope of every single job role and responsibility

that as to do with computers in the business setting.

That's how I would define it.

Some people might define it differently but that's really what it is.

The IT industry is that entire industry and it's really big.

But a lot of things are changing, because again, we used to use the term to talk about

the help desk people, the people that would set up your computer and networking and stuff,

but a lot of times now we've got the cloud.

We've got AWS where we're basically using virtual machines and we're using cloud based

hosting and so a lot of companies aren't—they don't even really have IT, they're outsourcing

IT essentially because that infrastructure, those guys that used to run those network

wires and used to give you an IP address they're not needed anymore because we're able to solve

that with technology.

There are still plenty of those people around, but I'm just saying in general, a lot of companies

where IT was sort of, when I was—earlier in my software development career, it was

just like, "Duh?"

Now it's actually—there's a lot of new software developers that are like, "Well, what is that?

I don't understand it?

Don't we just spin up a machine in the cloud?

What is IT?

I don't get it.

They're software developers who write code and that's it and then we have dev ops guys

and we deploy the code.

That's it."

IT in some companies has been eliminated based on that.

You don't necessarily have to have a network guy.

You don't necessarily have to have a help desk guy because you've got this ability as

technologies change.

That's really what it is and it's something that, like I said, is evolving.

Hopefully that clears up.

Some of you are like, "Oh, this is—what are you even talking about, John?

This is dumb."

I get that if you've been in the industry for a while.

I want to make this video for some of the newer developers that don't quite understand

like this, because you might have never seen IT like we used to when you used to have to

get a subnet address and split up the IP and put the subnet mask in and all this stuff.

You had to have someone that knew how to do all that stuff, because now a lot of it is

automatic or you don't need that or you're running wires and twisting cables nad all

that kind of stuff.

There'll still always be some of that, but a lot of companies can actually exist with

everyone remote and you don't actually have a real IT department in the company and I

think that the way for the future.

I think that that kind of IT is going to disappear but the general IT that includes software

developers and all of those other roles that's' always going to be around obviously.

All right, if you like this video, if you want to get more videos like this one where

I answer questions and give you life advice and tell you all kinds of fun stuff and stories,

go ahead and click that Subscribe button below if you haven't already and I'll talk to you

next time.

Opposition parties call Park's arrest natural result, former ruling party expresses regret - Duration: 2:17.

We shift our focus to what specifically led the court to grant the arrest warrant on the

Park.

Our Kim Ji-yeon explains how the court's decision could impact the actual trial on the criminal

charges the impeached leader faces.

There's a high possibility that former President Park would jeopardize the investigation into

the criminal charges against her if she were not detained.

That's the view of the Seoul Central District Court, which said the fact she denied all

13 charges despite mounting evidence... shows she's not willing to cooperate.

"When suspects deny their charges... the court sees a big risk they'll withhold evidence.

And in Park's case, this was the main reason the court issued the arrest warrant... rather

than the possibility that she will run away during the investigation."

The professor also added the court's decision indicates that Park is highly likely to be

found guilty of some of the charges in the actual trial... since the judge would not

issue the arrest warrant unless there was compelling evidence against her.

Also the court may taken into account that her closest former aides, her longtime confidante

as well as Samsung Electronics vice chairman Lee Jae-yong are already behind bars for colluding

with or aiding Park in her alleged offenses.

Park's first trial is likely to take place after the May 9th presidential election...

if prosecutors indict her before the April 19th deadline... with a verdict expected in

mid-October.

Tomorrow is Camp Nanowrimo! [CC] - Duration: 2:52.

Hello Rebel, and welcome back to my life.

It's March 31st, and you know what that means!

… You … DO you know what it means?

I don't, actually, I was hoping you did.

Well, among other things, it means that tomorrow is the start of Camp Nanowrimo!

I'm trying to remember if I've ever intentionally done a Nanowrimo event and completed it.

I don't … think so?

Like, I know there have been past Novembers and Aprils where I've written 50,000 words,

or more than that, and completed a book, but never as an active participant of the event.

I'm gonna give this one a shot, because by the time you're watching this, I'm

either done or very close to being done with the outline for Yerrin, the sixth book in

the Nightblade Epic.

Oh, did I not mention that?

Did I not mention that the restoration project is OVER and I am now writing a NEW BOOK?!?!?!

(I'm a little bit excited about it.)

So over the years I've tried many different productivity tricks to get myself to produce

the amount of things I need to produce in the time I need to produce them.

And one of the biggest ones, for me, for my overall productivity, was learning to monitor

the amount of time I was putting into my books, rather than the results.

In other words, when I tried to hit a daily word count, I would miss more often than I

would hit.

But then sometimes I would have days where I went WAAAY over my word count goal.

If I was supposed to write 6,000 words in a day, I would write 16,000 words instead.

Now, you'd think that would be a good thing, but that usually meant I would take it easier

on myself the next day, since I had this "buffer."

And then that day would bleed over into the next day, and soon I wasn't hitting my word

counts at all, and some days I'd find it impossible to get started at all.

So now my number one priority is to get four HOURS of work in every day, Monday through

Saturday, with Sundays off.

I'm allowed to work Sundays if I want to, but I'm also allowed to take the day off.

Sometimes those four hours are less productive, sometimes they're more productive.

But I know that if I'm in my chair and writing for those four hours, I am going to get words

down every single day, and after a period of time, that will result in a book.

So I'm going to take the same approach to Camp Nanowrimo starting tomorrow, but there

is a problem with this, which is that I'm going to be measuring myself against a different

goal.

Like, I'll be updating my word count every day, but there's definitely going to be

some days where my daily word count is a lot less than other days.

And I can see myself becoming discouraged by days with lower word counts, which could

lead to more days with lower word counts, and on and on into this dwindling spiral.

On top of all that … I'm going to try to do VEDA?

That is a HORRIBLE idea, I know.

But.

I'm going to do it anyway.

Despite the fact that, as you're watching this, I'm driving down to San Francisco,

and tomorrow I'm going to be driving again.

I'm still going to try to post a vlog every day.

I don't know.

I feel like I haven't done anything SUPER INTENSE in a really long time, and I kind

of miss it.

I like moments of intense overwork, every once in a while, as long as it doesn't become

constant, because that gets unhealthy.

So here's to signing off on a great March and looking forward to an April of intense

work and production that hopefully leads to an even better May.

That's it for today, Rebel.

Subscribe if you haven't already, and wish me luck in April!

It's going to be a hell of a month.

Thank you so much for watching, and I will see you tomorrow.

Maybe?

Byyye!

IS KATE MIDDLETON UPSET WITH MEGHAN MARKLE NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST, DESPITE CLAIMS - Duration: 4:30.

Meghan Markle has been a well-known actress since she took on the role of Rachel in the

legal drama Suits.

The beauty is also recognized for her humanitarian efforts and lifestyle site called The Tig.

However, Markle has become even more prominent globally due to her new, yet reportedly quite

serious, relationship with Prince Harry.

By the time the Prince made a public announcement about the romance, Markle had already been

spotted exiting Kengsington Palace and the two had been seen in one anothers company

in Toronto as well- where Markle resides.

Matching bracelets and news that a wedding may even be in the cards, indicates that there

may just be another brunette beauty set to take a portion of the royal spotlight from

the current most beloved royal, Kate Middleton.

The Duchess of Cambridge, married to the Duke of Cambridge, has made her mark as a commoner

who has eased into the role that involves being constantly in the spotlight and under

the watchful eye, as well as scrutiny, of royal watchers and the media.

Middleton has managed extremely well to the point that it is quite hard to believe she

is from a middle class family and the daughter of hardworking parents.

Prince Harry has made note of the fact that his previous relationships ended due to the

women involved not being prepared for, or happy about, always being in the media and

hounded by the press.

For this reason, Meghan Markle seems to be the perfect match to not only complement the

Princes benevolent ways, but also to stand confidently next to him in the spotlight,

which she is very used to as a celebrity.

Although there has been talk that Meghan and Kate have met and immediately bonded, this

has not kept rumors from flying that Middleton is frustrated that Markle is taking a part

of the spotlight she was so accustomed to having entirely to herself.

As Gossip Cop notes, the most recent rumor spurred on by Celebrity Dirty Laundry comes

with the words, Kate Middleton Fears Prince Harrys Girlfriend Stealing Her Spotlight-Meghan

Markle Named Most Googled Actress of 2016? in the headline to the article.

Additionally CDL goes on to make more unfounded and ridiculous claims about the Duchess

view of the actress and how she supposedly feels about a shared spotlight.

Kate Middleton might not be looking forward to all of the changes that are ahead for the

New Year.

In fact, Kate knows her days as the most popular and photographed member of the royal family

are numbered, especially since Prince Harrys girlfriend Meghan Markle has been named the

Internets most-Googled actress of 2016. The publication then claims that Kate is aware

that Meghan Markle has social ambitions and is fearful that the actress may easily steal

her spotlight, continuing by stating Meghan is everything that Kate isnt.

Kate will soon become yesterdays forgotten news.

Additionally, the tabloid goes on to say that Middleton is worried that there will be a

wedding between Harry and Meghan, adding that this is the last thing Kate wants seeing as

she wants headlines to continue to be all about her.

As GC has determined, these ludicrous claims are completely fabricated.

Middleton and Markle are not in competition with one another, and the Duchess of Cambridge

has no reason to feel intimidated. The outlet is simply trying to stir up a feud,

despite previously alleging Middleton wanted to use Markle for her Hollywood connections.

Celeb Dirty Laundry throws out wild, contradictory claims in hopes of scoring traffic off its

original content.

But the manufactured information is typically wrong.

This is just yet another example. thanks for watching.

Tokyo approves education guidelines that say Dokdo is Japanese territory - Duration: 2:24.

Tokyo has approved a revised set of guidelines to teach all elementary and middle school

students the Korea-controlled Dokdo islets is their territory.

Connie Kim fills us in on the move that reflects Japan's reluctance to try and repair its relations

with Seoul.

Japan is pushing forward with its claim to Korea's easternmost Dokdo Island.

The Japanese government on Friday approved a revised set of guidelines for elementary

and middle school students that say Dokdo is Japanese territory.

The guidelines were posted online for public viewing last month, and will be added to the

curriculum for elementary schools in 2020 and for middle schools in 2021.

In response, Seoul has denounced Tokyo for finalizing the guidelines despite its repeated

warnings.

"South Korea warns the Japanese government that if it continues to inject false historical

perceptions about Dokdo through the revised educational guidelines, following its wrongful

claims to Dokdo in its recently approved textbooks, future generations in Japan will learn false

history."

Seoul's foreign ministry summoned Suzuki Hideo, a minister at the Japanese embassy in Seoul,...

to convey the government's stance on the issue.

The Dokdo row was first brought up in the education arena in 2008, when guidelines for

middle schools stated differences existed between Seoul and Tokyo surrounding Takeshima,

Japan's name for Dokdo.

After Prime Minister Shinzo Abe won re-election in 2012,...

Japan's territorial claims over Korea's easternmost islands intensified.

Just last week, nearly 80-percent of the 24 new social studies textbooks approved for

use in Japan claimed that Dokdo is Japanese territory.

Japan's claims have exacerbated an already tense diplomatic relationship.

In the latest incident, Tokyo recalled its ambassador to Korea in January... to protest

a Korean civic group's installation of a "comfort woman" statue in front of the Japanese consulate

in Busan.

"The deterioration of bilateral ties could trigger emotional hostility in the long term.

Japan is expected to claim Dokdo in its future official documents and defense papers,...

making things worse."

"At the same time, there are concerns over the trilateral cooperation between Seoul,

Tokyo and Washington,... which could have serious consequences given the lingering threats

from North Korea.

The Anatomic Evolution - Duration: 2:59.

My name is Sergei Tarasov and I am a postdoctoral fellow at NIMBioS.

My research primarily falls into two main camps.

The first one is the systematics of dung beetles.

In this area of my research, I study evolutionary history of dung beetles, describe their diversity

and improve dung beetles classification.

The second area of my research, which I want to talk about today, is focused on developing

new phylogenetic methods.

Specifically, now, I am working on, statistical models that will help us to reconstruct the

evolution of organismal anatomies.

Living organism have a tremendous diversity of body forms and anatomical traits but we

still know little about how and why this diversity of evolved.

Its because evolution of anatomies has two main peculiar components.

The first one is that anatomical traits do not evolve per se; in fact, they are the product

of gene interactions which underlay their development.

And in most cases, scientists have no clue of how this process is operating, so the process

is hidden.

The second component is that anatomy in all organisms has a specific hierarchical structure.

For example, in the human body we have an arm cluster that contains a multitude of anatomical

structures associated with arm; within this cluster there is a smaller one comprising

only phalangeal bones that form fingers.

 This is a hierarchy.

In fact, this organization is complex and exhibits a network of that is somewhat similar

in shape to, for example, World Wide Web network.

At present, available statistical models in biology do not accommodate hidden and hierarchical

components simultaneously, which makes them less accurate.

In my research, I am working on more realistic models that can accommodate

them using the statistical framework of Bayesian networks.

Why is this important?

Well, new models will help us to reconstruct evolution of organismal anatomies over phylogenetic

trees more accurately; in turn, this enable us to understand the causes that shaped the

fascinating diversity of organismal forms as well as address many other questions in

evolutionary biology.

Trump is wrong to criticise Germany over trade – he should look closer to home - Duration: 7:35.

Trump is wrong to criticise Germany over trade – he should look closer to home

Donald Trump has criticised Germany's enormous current account surplus, which he considers the result of German currency manipulation. But the president is wrong.

While Germany's external surplus, at 8% of GDP, is big – too big – it is not the result of currency manipulation by Germany.

The real culprits are an inflationary credit bubble in southern Europe, the expansionary policies of the European Central Bank, and the financial products US banks sold to the world.

So, instead of blaming Germany, Trump would do well to focus on institutions in his own country. Germany's trade surplus is rooted in the fact that the country sells its goods too cheaply. Here, the Trump administration is basically right.

The euro is too cheap relative to the US dollar, and Germany is selling too cheaply to its trading partners within the eurozone.

This undervaluation boosts demand for German goods in other countries, while making Germany reluctant to import as much as it exports.

The euro is currently priced at $107, whereas OECD purchasing power parity stands at $1.29. This implies a 17% undervaluation of the euro.

Moreover, Germany is 19% too cheap within the eurozone if one uses as a baseline a calculation by Goldman Sachs from 2013 and subtracts the appreciation in real terms since that time.

On the whole, this implies that Germany's currency is undervalued by about a third. So the fact that German products are undervalued is indisputable. The question is why the exchange rate has strayed so far from fundamentals.

The undervaluation within the eurozone has its roots in the inflationary credit bubble triggered by the announcement and implementation of the euro in southern Europe after the Madrid summit of 1995, which brought with it drastic interest-rate cuts in these economies.

Interest rates in Italy, Spain and Portugal fell by about five percentage points, and in Greece by roughly 20 percentage points.

The cheap foreign credit brought about by the euro enabled these countries' governments and construction sectors to raise wages faster than productivity increased, thereby pushing up prices and undermining the competitiveness of their manufacturing sectors.

Germany, which was at that time in a deep crisis, kept inflation low, in line with the requirements of the Maastricht treaty, so it became cheaper and cheaper in relative terms. Advertisement.

The undervaluation of the euro, by contrast, has two root causes. One is the European Central Bank's ultra-loose monetary policy, particularly its programme of quantitative easing (QE), under which €2.3tn of freshly printed money is being used to buy eurozone securities.

Part of that money is flowing abroad in search of higher returns, thus leading to euro depreciation. This is indeed a form of indirect currency manipulation.

It should be noted, however, that the ECB's governing council adopted QE and other expansionary measures, despite the fierce opposition of the German Bundesbank. So this is not a policy for which Germany can be held responsible.

The second root cause of the euro's undervaluation lies within the country over which Trump presides.

Thanks to the dollar's status as the world's main reserve currency, the US financial industry has managed in recent decades to offer international investors a potpourri of alluring products.

This has driven up the dollar's value and chronically undermined export competitiveness, much like the financial products offered by the City of London did in the UK by fuelling sterling appreciation in the years of undisputed EU membership.

Economists speak of "Dutch disease" in situations like this, because the emergence of the Netherlands' gas industry in the 1960s placed upward pressure on the guilder, decimating the manufacturing sector.

Whether a country sells gas or financial products to the rest of the world doesn't matter all that much; the point is that the successful sector crowds out others by causing real exchange-rate appreciation.

In lamenting the strong dollar's effect on manufacturing employment in the US, Trump should look to Wall Street, not Germany.

He should also consider that those alluring US financial products, which have so afflicted America's export sector, have sometimes been pie in the sky rather than legitimate investment opportunities.

Both Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton prompted brokers with their Community Reinvestment Act to help the US poor achieve home ownership by means of generous loans, even though it was clear from the outset that many of these borrowers would never be able to repay the money.

The brokers sold their claims to the banks, which in turn cunningly packaged them in opaque asset-backed securities that they then palmed off to the world with sham AAA ratings.

"Stupid German money" was the term used on Wall Street for the funds that flowed in to finance America's social policy.

That scam was exposed during the financial crisis. In 2010, Germany's government had to support its banks with €280bn, by establishing two bad banks to take over these problematic financial products.

Viewed from this perspective, a large number of the many Porsches, Mercedes, and BMWs delivered to America have never been paid for at all.

The US president should take this into consideration before threatening a trade war – or even indulging in a Twitter spat – with Germany.

Creatine Monohydrate VS Buffered Creatine (Kre-Alklyn) - Duration: 4:00.

Hey there; Paul from Ultimate Fat Burner.com here, and today we've got another good old fashioned creatine cage match for you - we're going to put the gold

standard of creatine - creatine monohydrate up against buffered creatine or kre-alkalyn

and see who comes out on top.

I'll have the results for you in just a couple of seconds, stick around, don't you dare go anywhere, you don't want to miss this one.

Alright, welcome back.

Thanks for sticking around!

OK, so in the one corner we have creatine monohydrate, the gold standard of creatine.

It's been proven effective in increasing anaerobic permformance time after time, in study after

study, it's been studied extensively for its therapeutic uses as well - in people with

heart disease, fibromyalgia, muscular dystrophy

and more.

It's without a doubt, one of the safest, most effective, and clinically proven sports

supplements on the market today.

On the other hand, we have this fairly new type of creatine - been around for a few years

now but is starting to make the rounds again - it's called "buffered creatine" or Kre-alkalyn.

Buffered creatine is form of creatine that has an alkaline powder added to it to boost

it's PH to somewhere between 7-14

If you remember from your basic biology classes, PH, or potential hydrogen and is used a measure

how acidic or alkaline a solution is - 7 is neutral, below 7 is acidic, and above 7 is

alkaline.

According to the supplement manufacturers and retailers, buffered creatine is more effective

than regular creatine monohydrate for a number of reasons...

It's much more stable in the stomach, doesn't get degraded to the by-product creatinine

as easily, it is much more easily absorbed by the body, plus, you don't need to take

anywhere near as much of the stuff, and it doesn't lead

to bloating and cramping - which are two side effects that I believe have been created out

of thin air by the supplement industry to sell us new

variations of creatine, like this one.

Be that as it may, buffered creatine is much better than poor old creatine monohydrate

At least that's what the folks selling us supplements would have us believe.

But is really?

Well, a study published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition

in 2012 put that the theory to the test.

And guess what they found?

They found that not only does buffered not work nearly as well as creatine monohydrate,

there's no evidence that it's safer, either.

In other words, the claims made for buffered creatine are marketing spin only, and not

supported by any clinical evidence - in fact the clinical evidence shows the opposite is true - creatine monohydrate is more effective than buffered creatine.

Now if you want to take a look for yourself, I've included a link to the study in the description

below this video.

So what's the bottom line?

This isn't the first time the supplement industry has tried to sell us new, more effective forms

of creatine without any supporting evidence.

There's no money to be made selling in creatine monohydrate... the stuff is just

too damn cheap.

And as result we get these "better" and exponentially more expensive varations being marketed to

us.

However, as compelling as the advertising may be, ignore the hype and stick with the

tried, true and proven form of creatine... creatine monohydrate.

Alright guys, that's wrap thanks for watching.

If you liked this video, I'd love it if you gave it a thumbs up, and if you think your

friends would like it too, a share would be awesome as well.

If have any questions or comments, or have used buffered creatine yourself and want to

share the experience please leave a comment below - I'd love to see it as would our viewers.

And of course, if you haven't subscribed to this

channel, now would be a great time.

Be nice to have you aboard.

Youtube will send you a quick note whenever we post new videos so you'll never miss anything.

Thanks again for watching, and I'll see you really soon.

Why the River Tyne Booze Cruise is a bad idea http://bit.ly/2nDoSyV - Duration: 1:04.

Yeah; people are planning on going upriver with

their dinghys and small craft and just floating

down the river and having a party as

they go. It is incredibly irresponsible

because the River Tyne is a fast-flowing

tidal river that is very wide and it's

difficult to get out. We would discourage

this event and we're working with our

partners Northumbria Police and the Port

of Tyne to discourage this event. We

love safe events, but this event it just

is not safe and we want people to think

before taking part in this event, because they would put themselves

and their friends at risk. Q. Not only not safe,

it sounds dangerous? I mean people are

going to get on the river at Newburn,

loads of small boats, the river there - is

it unpredictable? It's unpredictable, and

we just want people to have a party in

safety and this isn't the way to do it.

The River Tyne is not a safe place for

small craft and inexperienced people to

be on that River.
