oh hi bananas I was just getting my backpack ready for the first day back to

school let me show you what I have first I got this new really cool purple

backpack and inside I have my new pencil box it's blue I have a roll of toilet

paper I also have my new pink lunchbox and I have a brand new box of crayons

wait a second one of these things doesn't belong in my

backpack do you know which one shouldn't be there toilet paper

who put a roll of toilet paper in my backpack that's silly I have my new

folder it's tie-dye I also have new school glue

I have a really cool blue ruler and I have a can opener oh wait what are these

things should it be in my backpack do you know which one shouldn't be there a

can opener what a can opener in my backpack I will not be opening any cans

at school I have my new blue water bottle I also have a pair of yellow

school scissors I have an orange balloon and my new pink notebook wait a second

what if these things shouldn't be in my backpack do you know which one shouldn't

be there

that's funny there that's all I got I can't wait for my first day back to

school I am so excited to find out who my new teacher is going to be and I'm

going to make all sorts of new friends this year and I'm going to learn a ton

math is my favorite subject because I really like adding all the big numbers

together what's your favorite subject oh that's a good one too

there now I got packs already thanks for your help

I hope you have fun on your first day back to school

off I go I went to my grandma's house yesterday and she helped me bake these

delicious sugar cookies in the shape of flowers I saved these two very special

cookies because I want to decorate them all by myself for my mommy and my daddy

but I'm having a little bit of trouble do you think that you could help me

today you could that would be wonderful thank

you well first I'll show you all the goodies that I have I have pink icing

over here then I have chocolate sprinkles pink sprinkles and candy

first I thought we should start with the icing I'm using a plastic knife so it's

not too sharp I picked pink because it's one of my favorite colors first let's do

now we have the whole word mom now let's spell out the word dad it

starts with the letter D when you see the D let's all yell stop stop that's an

T great job friends now let's all yell stop when we see the letter A that's the

first letter of the alphabet stop that's the letter A awesome we're missing one

more letter I think it's the letter Z again let's all yell stop one last time

when we see the letter D

stop that's the last D we did it good job now we can spell the words mom and

dad on our cookies em Oh em back bells mom see hey see that spell dad let's put

on the sprinkles finally I have chocolate sprinkles for my dad's cookie

and pink sparkle sprinkles for my mom hmm

what do you think mmm they look so good mom and dad are gonna be so proud and I

couldn't have done it today without you well that's all I have planned for today

Although there is no cure for psoriasis, oral and topical medications are an

invaluable tool for many people in managing the disease.

Topicals�which are applied directly to the skin�can reduce

itching and inflammation, improve the skin�s appearance,

and normalize abnormal cell production, which is thought to be one of the causes of

psoriasis.

First line of defense

If your condition is isolated to a few areas, topicals are the first line of defense,

says Steven Feldman, MD, PhD, professor of dermatology at the Wake Forest University

School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C.

"I divide patients into two groups: Those with a

few spots where I use topicals, and those with so

many spots that you can�t possibly put topicals on all of them."

For those with psoriasis that covers many areas, oral medications and biologics

might be a better fit.

Combo treatments

Your dermatologist may also decide to use topicals

in combination with other medications.

Try to make applying them part of your daily routine,

and make sure to apply them only to the part of the

body directed by your doctor to avoid unwanted side effects.

Moisturizing creams

A key to treating psoriasis is keeping your skin

moisturized every day, and especially in dry or

cold weather.

Patients recommend ointments such as Vaseline and lotions to minimize itching

and redness; finding the right product is a process

of trial and error.

Whatever you choose, slather the affected parts of your body immediately after

a bath or shower.

Coal tar

How this age-old remedy helps psoriasis sufferers remains something of a mystery.

"We have no idea how it works," says Robert E. Kalb, MD, clinical

associate professor of dermatology at the University

at Buffalo School of Medicine in Buffalo, N.Y.

Doctors presume that it reduces the overproduction of skin cells.

The upside to tar products is that they don�t cause side effects.

The downside is that they�re smelly and messy, and can stain fabric.

Topical steroids

"Steroids are the mainstay of topical treatments, " says Dr. Kalb.

Also known as topical corticosteroids, topical steroids are one of the most popular

topical solutions and come in a wide range of potencies,

from mild formulas available over the counter to heavy-duty prescriptions.

How steroids work

Steroids decrease inflammation, relieve itching, and slow the development of new psoriasis

patches.

Although effective, aggressive topical steroids can cause skin thinning (which can lead to

stretch marks), so many dermatologists recommend using them

only for a short period of time.

"The challenge is to maintain the benefits without using them too

much," says Dr. Kalb.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are allegedly looking for a new housekeeper.

It is believed that the royal couple placed an advertorial to assist their search.

The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge is about to give birth next month, which might be the

reason for the search.

According to People magazine, the royal couple might have placed the ad in the upscale magazine

The Lady.

The magazine describes its audience as "elegant women with elegant minds."

As per the Mirror, the ad reads: "Housekeeper sought for a large family home in Norfolk.

We are looking for someone with previous housekeeping experience, ideally within a large private

house, and preferably within a family environment with dogs."

the ad also specifies that "discretion and loyalty is paramount."

While the ad did not indicate names, it can be remembered that Kate Middleton and Prince

William temporarily moved to a country house in Norfolk or more known as Anmer Hall.

The family also has a spaniel named Lupo.

The ad likewise mentioned that the housekeeper's responsible for "cleaning all areas of the

house to a high standard; caring for and maintaining the home owners' clothing; cleaning silverware

and glassware; purchasing groceries and general provisions for the house; and dealing with

deliveries."

Chris Cornell's Daughter Sing 'Hallelujah' For Father And Chester Bennington - Duration: 2:07.

Toni Cornell, the 12-year-old daughter of Chris Cornell, joined OneRepublic onstage during Friday's Good Morning America to perform a poignant version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah."

They dedicated the cover to the Soundgarden singer and Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, two friends who died by suicide this year.

"It's an honor to perform this for my dad and Chester and to sing for them," Toni Cornell said in a statement.

Cornell and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder alternated lead vocals on the track, singing in unison at the end. Audience members were visibly weeping during the performance

Linkin Park were scheduled to perform at Central Park Friday as part of Good Morning America's Summer Concert series.

Chris Cornell died in May at age 52. Bennington died in July at age 41.

On May 26th, Bennington, alongside Linkin Park bandmate Brad Delson, performed "Hallelujah" as Cornell was being laid to rest at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.

"My name is Chester," Bennington told the mourners gathered there.

"I had the great privilege of being a friend of Chris and invited to be a member of his family."

He also paid tribute to Cornell on Twitter: "Your voice was joy and pain, anger and forgiveness, love and heartache all wrapped up into one.

I suppose that's what we all are. You helped me understand that."
