On Wednesday of this past week the stock market hit over 22,000 points, which is a record

high all-time high for the Dow Jones.

Donald Trump immediately got on Twitter talking about how strong this economy is, look at

what's happening in the stock market.

That is proof that everything is getting better in this country.

And to his credit, even though he's done absolutely nothing that would affect this, the stock

market has risen 20% since Inauguration Day.

But here's the problem.

The stock market doing better, even reaching all-time highs, doesn't really affect this

country.

50% of people in the United States have exactly $0 invested in the stock market.

The majority of people who do have money in there are people who make over $100,000 a

year.

Although 20% of people who make under $30,000 a year do have money in there, but that's

mostly through an employer sponsored pension plan that they themselves do not contribute

to but their employers do, and they really have no control over that money, and they

can't touch it until they're in their 60s.

Nonetheless the stock market doing well really has no bearing on how Americans are doing.

Does the stock marketing hitting 22,000 points this week, did that give you a raise?

Did that increase the minimum wage?

Did it create more jobs in this country?

No.

It didn't do anything.

It put more money in the pockets of people who do not need more money already.

And most of the reason the stocks are going crazy is not because new people are coming

in saying they want to buy it.

It's because corporations are engaged in a massive stock buyback this year and they're

buying their own stocks artificially and rising the prices.

That's what happens folks.

Eventually this will all come crashing down.

Wall Street, the stock market, it is a giant casino.

And if you're not betting in it, then you have nothing to lose, you have nothing to

worry about.

But eventually, as we've seen time and time again, all of these people who suddenly jump

in and start wanting to buy at these rich wealthy people want to put more money in and

more money and more money, when it comes crashing down they're going to lose a lot.

The rest of us, once again, we're not necessarily going to feel the pinch.

Just like we're not feeling the benefit.

When Donald Trump says that the economy is doing better in the United States, please

understand that he means the economy is doing better, but only if you're already a rich

person in the United States.

Funny how it always seems to work out like that.

Everything is doing great if you're already rich.

Yeah, you can be anything you want to be in this country, as long as you're born into

a wealthy family.

When you already have money, everything just suddenly seems to start doing better.

The big question is when are they going to start having some of that money actually trickle

down to help the rest of us down here who struggle from paycheck to paycheck and couldn't

even think about being able to afford buying into their little stock market casino that's

making them all millions upon millions of dollars every week?

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho could become Neymars replacement at Barcelona. The next name on Barcelona's list of targets is likely to be Stamford Bridge star Eden Hazard, 26.

Barca, like Real Madrid, Manchester City and a host of Europe's biggest clubs, are predictably being linked with Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe, 18, too.

Neymar sacrificed a bumper loyalty bonus from Barcelona by switching to PSG.The Brazil forward will reportedly earn £27m a year, or around £520,000 a week AFTER tax.

But his father and manager Neymar Santos Sr will miss out on a £23m loyalty bonus from Barcelona.

A Nou Camp spokesman said: "There were conditions, such as the player must not negotiate his departure during the month before the bonus became payable.".

WWE: Shinsuke Nakamura Doesn't Have Heat for Suplex on John Cena

The match between Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena on SmackDown Live was hyped by the WWE as a "Dream Match", and while they didn't get a huge amount of time to work with on a television show, it did meet expectations.

Instead of having Nakamura win via shenanigans provided by Money in the Bank briefcase holder Baron Corbin, the WWE held off on "The Lone Wolf's" run-in until after Nakamura won.

The "King of Strong Style" kicked out of one Attitude Adjustment, countered an attempt at back-to-back AAs by essentially no-selling the first one, and finished the match with the Kinsasha knee strike.

It was a crowning moment for Nakamura, whose booking on the main roster has been critiqued by fans.

He's never lost to this point, but many of his victories have felt empty, as they've come via a low blow, against Dolph Ziggler, or in tag matches.

Nobody can take this victory away from him, and it doesn't look like the WWE will pump the brakes on Nakamura, even though he was involved in a scary moment in that match.

Before hitting the "Kinsasha", Nakamura dropped Cena on the back of his head on an exploder suplex.

Some have wondered if the issue was with how the move was delivered or how the move was taken, because Nakamura has used that move safely many times, including in the WWE.

Following the match, Nakamura could be observed apologizing to Cena, who responded that Nakamura had no reason to apologize.

And in case that exchange wasn't enough to ease any doubts that Nakamura will move forward without receiving heat from this incident, PW Insider's Mike Johnson writes that people backstage believe this is a "fluke".

I'm glad they feel this way, because that's clearly the most logical outlook. Moves like this happen in wrestling, and Nakamura has a reputation for being safe despite his strong style.

This move hasn't caused issues in the past, and Cena is always understanding of the potential for risks and hard bumps in the ring.

All we can do is hope Cena doesn't have any lingering effects, because that's the only takeaway at this point. It will be interesting to see if Nakamura can win the championship from Jinder, who has been slightly underwhelming with the title.

The Jinder experiment was a nice idea, but it's time to push one of the top stars in the company hard.

Cena raised Nakamura's hand twice on SmackDown Live after the impressive victory, and it's clear that the company has big plans for one of the world's most charismatic performers.

Paul Ryan Releases Bizarre Music Video Ad To Push For Border Wall - Duration: 5:07.

House Speaker Paul Ryan has really kind of kept his mouth shut about Donald Trump's border

wall for the last few months.

After all, he's had his hands full trying to repeal health care for millions of Americans,

and now he's actually actively trying to work to give millionaires and billionaires a massive

tax cut.

But, in the last week or so, his desire to build a border wall between the US and Mexico

seems to have ramped up.

For some reason, Paul Ryan is now falling right in line with Donald Trump's biggest

campaign promise.

So much so, that Paul Ryan himself released the following ad this week, touting the need

for

a border wall.

Take a look.

Now, I'm not sure if he set it to music and had the flashy words on screen, because maybe

he was trying to get the MTV generation to support it, wanted it to look cool like those

videos he grew up watching, but this is one of the most idiotic things I think I've seen

since the Boots are Made for Walking commercial from Jeb Bush last year.

Paul Ryan, who claims to be a fiscal conservative and doesn't think we should waste any money,

has no problem spending billions upon billions of dollars on a useless wall between the United

States and Mexico.

Furthermore, in the video, he says that these men down there, men and women, do an awesome

job protecting our border.

Well, if you thought they were doing an awesome job, why would you build a wall?

To me, that's kind of insulting to the border agents.

It's saying, "You suck so bad that we're replacing you with concrete."

That's the message you're basically sending out right there, Paul Ryan.

But again, the border wall will do nothing, other than drain us of precious tax dollars

that could go to more important things like education, fire departments, infrastructure,

health care.

I mean, good God, the list goes on and on and on.

And instead, we want to invest it in steel and concrete to build a wall that people are

just going to climb over anyway.

Why don't we work on trying to make things better?

Why don't we spend some time working with Mexico making conditions in the country better

so people want to stop coming over here, if you think immigrations a problem?

Let's make their lives better, so they don't want to escape.

They can come over here and work if they still choose to, but we shouldn't have a situation

just south of our border that's so bad that people have to flee the country because there's

no jobs, no money, and they don't want to get killed by drug lords.

How about we do something about those factors, instead of building a wall and saying, "Good

luck dealing with all the crap going on in your country."

That is what would make America great again.

Instead of shutting people out, instead of wasting money to build a wall, we could be

using that money to help people, not just US citizens, even though they desperately

need it, but other people as well.

The rest of the world could look to us as a leader in things like aid and help and great,

gracious, diplomatic foreign policy.

But, republicans aren't interested in that.

They want to give their little racist, alt right base a bone and build this border wall,

and that's what Paul Ryan's doing here.

That's why he suddenly has come out and is talking about the border wall after being

virtually silent for six months.

He wants to make sure that his base knows that he is in favor of the racist policy put

forth by a racist president, and that's all this is about.

At the end of the day, Paul Ryan doesn't really care whether or not we build the border wall.

All he cares about is convincing the people in his district that he wants to build the

border wall to protect their jobs.

I think one of the reasons he's coming out to adamantly in favor of this playing to his

base is because he understands he has a very real, progressive challenger up against him,

who could very likely unseat the sitting Speaker of the US House of Representatives.

Maybe wishful thinking, but that's something that we should all hope for.
