GRAND RAPIDS WOMAN WHO HAS BEEN MISSING SINCE EARLIER THIS

MONTH. THIRTY-YEAR-OLD TAWHANA JOLEE

PRINGLE WAS LAST SEEN IN FLOODWOOD ON JANUARY 6th.

THE MINNESOTA BCA SAYS PRINGLE HAS HAD NO CONTACT WITH FRIENDS

OR FAMILY. THEY SAY THAT IS OUT OF

CHARACTER FOR HER, AND AUTHORITIES ARE CONCERNED FOR

HER WELFARE. PRINGLE WAS LAST KNOWN TO BE

DRIVING A SILVER 1999 FORD F 150 EXTENDED CAB WITH MINNESOTA

PLATE 698-XHU. SHE'S DESCRIBED AS 5'2",

135 POUNDS WITH BLACK HAIR AND HAZEL EYES.

Road safety message for young students - Duration: 1:48.

We're here at St Paul's Primary school in Mount Lawley today with my colleagues to

announce the launch of this road safety book fit for young children.

This is a book that has been funded out of the Road Trauma Trust account.

This is about making young children, pre-primary children, aware of the journey to school

and how to stay safe on our roads. This book will be distributed to every

pre-primary class in Western Australia so that we

can start the message early. We have a lot of evidence that suggests that getting

that message to young children early is very important and that message can stay

with them for the rest of their school years and hopefully their life.

This book is about a dad walking his little girl to school and their journey along

the way and throughout the story there's a

message about how to safely cross the road and for example to stop,

to look, to listen and to take care when you're crossing

a road and also consider things like a safe place to cross the road.

So this I think is a good message it's a lot of humor involved it's written by a

very well renowned author Danny Katz and whilst there's quite a lot of humor

in it that helps to keep our children engaged with the road

safety message. And just telling kids to you know stop look and listen it's a bit

of a mantra that they don't really think about it so this is a really engaging little

story about a dad walking his kid to school. It has some funny

and humorous parts to it that engage very young children. It's specifically

designed for pre-primary students.
