>> Ian: IT IS WEDNESDAY JANUARY
31st, THIS IS "THE NATIONAL."
>> Andrew: A MOMENT FOR WOMEN IN
THE R.C.M.P. IN THE ME TOO
MOVEMENT.
>> Ian: NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE
ALLEGED PLOT TO FIX THE PRICE OF
YOUR BREAD.
WHY CANADIAN GROCERS AND
BAKERIES ARE ACTING LIKE A
CARTEL.
>> Ian: WE DRILL DOWN INTO THE
STATE OF TEXAS, IT'S NOT JUST A
POLITICAL PIPE DREAM FOR
DEMOCRATS.
>>> STARTING WITH THE #METOO
MOVEMENT THAT SENDS SHOCKWAVES
AROUND THE WORLD.
TONIGHT IT IS ROCKING TWO OF THE
COUNTRY'S MOST ESTEAMED
INSTITUTIONS ON PARLIAMENT HILL,
AN INVESTIGATION AND RETIREMENT
AMID ALLEGATIONS OF HARASSMENT
AND ASSAULT.
WE'LL HAVE MORE ON THAT IN A
MOMENT.
AND CBC NEWS HAS LEARNED
HUNDREDS OF WOMEN IN THE
R.C.M.P. ARE SAYING #METOO,
JOINING A CLASS ACTION
SETTLEMENT ALLEGING HARASSMENT
AND DISCRIMINATION.
INCLUDING THIS WOMAN...
>> I HAD A SUPERVISOR GRAB ME
AND KISS ME AND I -- HE WANTED
TO ENGAGE IN A LOT MORE THAN
THAT AND I REFUSED.
>> Andrew: IT WAS THOUGHT AROUND
1500 WOMEN WOULD FILE BUT NOW IT
COULD HIT 4,000.
ABOUT 20,000 WOMEN HAVE WORKED
FOR THE R.C.M.P., SO IT WOULD
REPRESENT ONE IN FIVE WOMEN WHO
HAVE WORKED THERE.
PART OF THE INVESTIGATIVE TEAM
THAT BROKE THE STORY...
>> Reporter: 1974, THE YEAR THE
R.C.M.P. FIRST ALLOWED WOMEN TO
BECOME POLICE OFFICERS.
MANY WOMEN WHO SIGNED UP AND IN
THE DECADES SINCE WERE MET WITH
SOME MEN WHO WERE HOSTILE,
SEXIST AND ABUSIVE.
>> MY FIRST YEAR THE PERCEPTION
OF THE R.C.M.P. CHANGED.
>> Reporter: SHE WAS FORCED TO
TAKE MEDICAL LEAVE FROM THE
MOUNTIES AFTER YEARS OF HER BOSS
HITTING ON HER.
SHE STILL FEARS HIM SO WE'RE
CONCEALING HER IDENTITY.
>> I LOVED THE WORK WE WERE
DOING BUT THE WORK WITH THE
SUPERVISOR WAS DIFFICULT AND
BECAUSE I REFUSED THE ADVANCES
THERE WAS BULLYING AND
INTIMIDATION AND MOCKING ME IN
FRONT OF PEOPLE AFTERWARDS.
THAT WENT ON FOR MANY YEARS.
>> Reporter: SHE'S ONE OF MANY
COMING FORWARD, EMBOLDENED BY
THE ME TOO MOVEMENT.
ALL PART OF A CLASS ACTION
SETTLEMENT THAT INCLUDED THIS
APOLOGY.
>> I STAND HUMBLY BEFORE YOU AND
OFFER OUR SINCERE APOLOGY.
WE HURT YOU.
FOR THAT I'M TRULY SORRY.
>> Reporter: THIS FORMER
R.C.M.P. INSPECTOR HELPED TO
SPHEREHEAD THE CLASS ACTION.
>> Interview: I RECEIVED SINCE
YESTERDAY I WOULD SAY
APPROXIMATELY 30 CALLS.
>> Reporter: SHE IS HELPING
OTHERS FILE THE CLAIM, MANY
WOMEN STILL ON THE FORCE WHO SAY
LITTLE HAS CHANGED.
THIS CLASS ACTION IS UNCOVERING
ALL SORTS OF UGLY HISTORY.
CBC OBTAINED A LETTER FOUND IN
MAILBOXES OF SOME WOMEN AT THE
R.C.M.P. WHO SPOKE UP, A
SO-CALLED HURT FEELINGS REPORT,
MOCKINGLY ASKING IF THE
RECIPIENT IS A CRY BABY OR
WORSE.
>> BOY WE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO.
WHETHER IT WAS FIVE YEARS AGO OR
FIVE YEARS IN THE FUTURE OR NOW,
THERE'S NO PLACE FOR THIS IN THE
WORK FORCE.
>> Reporter: THE R.C.M.P. WON'T
COMMENT ON THE HURTS FEELING
REPORT BUT HAS BEGUN INITIATIVES
TO IMPROVE THE WORK PLACE BUT
WON'T SAY IF IT INCLUDES
SPECIFIC TRAINING FOR SEXUAL
HARASSMENT.
>> Andrew: THE INITIAL
SETTLEMENT AMOUNT WAS
$100 MILLION BUT AS MORE WOMEN
HAVE FILED, THAT AMOUNT WILL GO
UP.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS IS LONG
AND DETAILED.
IT INCLUDES A 33-PAGE CLAIM
FORM, ASKING WOMEN TO DETAIL
DATES, TIMES, WITNESSES, WHETHER
IT WAS REPORTED, WHO IT WAS
REPORTED TO AND THE
PSYCHOLOGICAL OR PHYSICAL
REPERCUSSIONS.
WE HAVE MEGAN McPHEE JOINING US,
A LAWYER BASED IN TORONTO
REPRESENTING ONE OF THE
PLAINTIFFS WHO HAS LAUNCHED THE
CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.
JUST ON A HUMAN LEVEL, THE THING
I'M CURIOUS TO KNOW, HOW HARD OF
A PROCESS IS THIS TO GO THROUGH.
MY UNDERSTANDING, THE
QUESTIONNAIRE ITSELF HAS A
TRIGGER WARNING AT THE TOP.
>> Interview: IT DOES.
THE MEMBERS WE'RE TALKING TO ARE
SAYING HOW DIFFICULT IT HAS BEEN
TO PUT TOGETHER THE CLAIMS.
THEY'RE DEALING WITH ISSUES THEY
HAVE COME PART MENTALLIZED FOR
MANY YEARS TO DO THEIR JOBS AND
NOW THEY HAVE TO GO BACK AND
REVISIT THE TRIMMIAUMAS.
BUT AT THE SAME TIME LIBERATING
TO HAVE THEIR VOICES HEARD.
>> Andrew: SOME OF THESE WOMEN,
DO THEY STILL WORK FOR THE
R.C.M.P.?
>> Interview: THERE'S A
SIGNIFICANT PORTION THAT DO
STILL WORK FOR THE R.C.M.P. AND
THAT'S WHY THE CONFIDENTIALITY
MECHANISMS IN PLACE ARE SO
IMPORTANT.
IT IS ADMINISTERED FROM A FORMER
JUDGE AND THE R.C.M.P. DOESN'T
FIND OUT WHO COMES FORWARD.
>> Andrew: BUT TO GO THROUGH THE
PROCESS AND HAVE TO DO YOUR
DAILY JOB, YOU MENTIONED SOME OF
THE PROCESS THAT FOLKS HAVE TO
GO THROUGH TO DETERMINE WHO IS
ELIGIBLE, WHAT THEY'RE ENTITLED
TO EXACTLY.
WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE?
>> Interview: THEY'RE FILLING
OUT A DETAILED CLAIM PROCESS AND
POTENTIALLY MEETING WITH THE
ASSESSOR TO DISCUSS THEIR CLAIMS
AND THOSE CLAIMS ARE GOING TO BE
-- THERE WILL BE A BROAD REPORT
AT THE END THAT WILL SHOW THE
TRENDS WE HAVE SEEN, A VEHICLE
FOR THE CHANGE INITIATIVES, ONE
OF THE OVERARCHING GOALS OF THE
SETTLEMENT, TO CHANGE THE
R.C.M.P. GOING FORWARD AND MAKE
IT A SAFER PLACE FOR WOMEN TO
WORK.
>> Andrew: THANK YOU FOR JOINING
US.
IT'S NOT JUST THE R.C.M.P.
TONIGHT.
THE #METOO MOVEMENT IS HITTING
OTTAWA.
>> Ian: DEALING WITH HARASSMENT
IS A PITFALL FOR MANY PARTIES
AND AS EVAN DYER TELLS US, AN
APPOINTED SENATOR WHO HAS BEEN
PART OF INVESTIGATIONS IN THE
PAST IS RETIRING EARLY.
>> Reporter: A FIXTURE OF
CANADIAN POLITICS FOR DECADES,
SENATOR KENNY WAS SUPPOSED TO
RETIRE BUT IN LEAVING EARLY, HE
MADE NO REFERENCE TO THE SEXUAL
HARASSMENT IN THE POLITICS BUT
HAS FACED A NUMBER OF
COMPLAINTS.
ONE IS A FORMER STAFFER.
>> Interview: HE REQUESTED THAT
I WEAR HIGH HEELS AT WORK.
HE CALLED ME ON A BUSINESS TRIP
ONCE TO TELL ME HE WAS THINKING
BEFORE ME IN MY BATHING SUIT BY
A POOL.
AND HE ASKED ME WHICH ALCOHOLIC
DRINK I LIKE TO HAVE AND IF I
WOULD COME BACK TO HIS PLACE
MONDAY TO HAVE A DRINK.
>> Reporter: KENNY QUIT THE
CAUCUS WHEN THE COMPLAINT WAS
FILED BUT HE WAS CLEARED OF
WRONG DOING.
>> Interview: I THOUGHT IT WOULD
BE A GREAT TIME TO WRITE TO THE
PRIME MINISTER AND REQUEST HIM
TO REOPEN THE INVESTIGATION OR
START A NEW ONE.
>> Reporter: WHAT KIND OF
RESPONSE DID YOU RECEIVE?
>> Interview: I DIDN'T RECEIVE A
RESPONSE YET.
>> Reporter: SHE WASN'T HAPPY
WITH HOW HER COMPLAINT WAS
HANDLED THE FIRST TIME AND
WANTED TO BRING OTHER WOMEN AS
WITNESSES TO TESTIFY TO A
PATTERN OF BEHAVIOUR BUT WASN'T
ALLOWED.
>> Interview: I THOUGHT THE
TIMING WAS APPROPRIATE WITH THE
#METOO MOVEMENT COMING TO THE
HILL AND THE RESPONSE OF THE
LEADERSHIP.
THERE'S BEEN A FEW DIFFERENT
PEOPLE WHO GAVE THEIR
RESIGNATION FOLLOWING SEXUAL
HARASSMENT COMPLAINTS.
I THOUGHT THE TIMING WAS RIGHT
AND IT COULD HAVE A BIGGER
IMPACT TODAY FIVE YEARS LATER.
>> Reporter: SHE BELIEVES HER
LETTER TO TRUDEAU MAY HAVE HAD A
ROLE IN KENNY'S DECISION TO QUIT
10 MONTHS EARLY.
>> Ian: WHAT IS THE PRIME
MINISTER'S OFFICE SAYING ABOUT
THE CASE?
>> Reporter: WE RECENTLY HEARD
CONFIRMATION THAT THEY DID
RECEIVE THE LETTER BUT ARE
SAYING THEY HAD NOT CONTACTED
SENATOR KENNY'S OFFICE, THE
TIMING LOOKS SUGGESTIVE BUT
COULD BE A CONSEQUENCE.
>> Ian: THIS IS NOT JUST AN
ISSUE FOR THE LIBERAL PARTY.
THE CONSERVATIVES ORDERING AN
INVESTIGATION OF HOW IT HANDLED
ALLEGATIONS AGAINST A FORMER
M.P.
>> THAT'S RIGHT ANDREW SCHEER
ANNOUNCED THEY WILL BRING IN AN
OUTSIDE INVESTIGATOR TO LOOK
INTO WHY RICK DIKESTER WAS
ALLOWED TO RUN FOR THE PARTY
WHEN PEOPLE IN THE PARTY
ALLEGEDLY KNEW ABOUT HIM
SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A STAFFER.
HE WENT ON TO BECOME THE
PRESIDENT OF THE ONTARIO PARTY
BUT RESIGNED SUNDAY TWO HOURS
AFTER "MCLEAN'S" CONTACTED HIM
TO SAY THEY WERE GOING PUBLIC
WITH THE ALLEGATIONS.
ANDREW SCHEER SAYS THEY WILL
MAKE PUBLIC THE FINDINGS OF THE
INVESTIGATION TO WHO KNEW WHAT
WHEN DURING THE ELECTION.
>> I THINK IT'S IMPORTANT TO
WAIT FOR THE RESULTS TO
DETERMINE THE NATURE OF WHAT
HAPPENED IF WHAT IS ALLEGED TO
HAVE HAPPENED TOOK PLACE.
OBVIOUSLY THAT'S VERY SERIOUS
AND WOULD BE PROBLEMATIC.
BUT WE'LL WAIT TO SEE WHAT COMES
OUT AND WHAT DETAILS ARE
PROVIDED.
>> Reporter: SCHEER ADDED HE
HIMSELF WAS SPEAKER AT THE TIME
AND HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE
EVENTS IN 2015.
HE SPOKE TO THE CONSERVATIVE
CAUCUS TODAY AND WE'RE TOLD HE
LAID DOWN THE LAW WITH ZERO
TOLERANCE FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT
OF ANY KIND.
>> Ian: THANK YOU.
TO TORONTO NOW, THE
INVESTIGATION INTO THE ACTIONS
OF AN ACCUSED SERIAL KILLER HAVE
PUT MANY ACROSS THE CITY ON
EDGE.
>> I WAS AWARE THAT SEVERAL MEN
HAD GONE MISSING BUT I DIDN'T
THINK IT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH
OUR STREET AT ALL.
FINDING OUT THAT HAPPENED WAS
LIKE A HUGE WAKE-UP CALL THAT
ANYWHERE AND ANYONE COULD DO
THAT.
SO IT WAS KIND OF SCARY.
>> Ian: BRUCE MACARTHUR USED A
PROPERTY ON HER STREET.
IT'S LOOKING LIKE THE FIVE
MURDERS HE'S ACCUSED OF ARE JUST
THE BEGINNING.
>> Reporter: THE UPDATE WAS
EXPECTEDLY GRIM.
AS INVESTIGATORS CONTINUE TO
SCOUR THE GROUNDS OF A TORONTO
HOME WHERE A SUSPECTED SERIAL
KILLER STORED HIS TOOLS.
THE EXHAUSTED DETECTIVE IN
CHARGE STOPPED BY.
THIS IS A 24-HOUR OPERATION AND
A HORRIFIC ONE.
>> Interview: WE BELIEVE THERE
ARE MORE VICTIMS ON TOP OF THE
FIVE AND AS WE IDENTIFY THE
VICTIMS, I CAN'T GIVE YOU ANY
IDEA ABOUT A NUMBER BUT I DO
EXPECT MORE CHARGES TO BE LAID.
>> Reporter: THE OMINOUS
PREDICTION COMES AFTER POLICE
SEIZED MORE THAN A DOZEN
PLANTERS FROM HOMES THAT HIRED
HIM AS A LANDSCAPER.
>> Interview: WE'RE NOT JUST
GRABBING EVERY PLANTER WE SEE,
IF THERE'S INDICATION FROM THE
K-9 OF DECOMPOSITION, WE'LL GRAB
IT.
>> Reporter: POLICE HAVE FOUND
THE REMAINS OF AT LEAST THREE
PEOPLE IN TWO PLANTERS EXAMINED
AT THE SAME HOME THEY WERE TAKEN
FROM, THE PLAN NOW TO WARM UP
THE FROZEN GROUND WITH HEATERS
AND START DIGGING.
HE'S RETIRED NOW BUT FOR 14
YEARS KEVIN BRIAN WAS A FORENSIC
INVESTIGATOR AND SAYS THE SCOPE
OF THE MACARTHUR INVESTIGATION
IS STAGGERING AND WILL BE
TEDIOUS.
ONLY CERTAIN PARTS OF THE
REMAINS WILL REVEAL KEY
INFORMATION.
>> TYPICALLY THE SKULL, BROKEN
RIBS OR RIBS WITH CUT MARKS IN
THEM.
THAT CAN INDICATE A CAUSE OF
DEATH.
>> Reporter: GRISLY DETAILS,
FOLLOWING THEM WITH THE HORROR
OF SOMEONE WHO MIGHT HAVE ENDED
UP A VICTIM, TOO.
HE KNEW MacARTHUR FOR YEARS WHEN
THEY MET UP IN TORONTO LAST
SPRING AND HAD DRINKS A THE THE
BAR AND HE WAS OFFERED A LIFT TO
THE HOTEL.
A FRIENDLY ENCOUNTER TURNED
INTIMATE AND THEN SUDDENLY
VIOLENT.
>> Interview: HE REALLY GRABBED
MY NECK VIOLENTLY TWISTED IT,
RIGHT TO HIS CROTCH AND HIS
PANTS WERE UNDONE AND THAT'S
WHEN I WAS REALLY QUITE
DISTURBED.
>> Reporter: HE MANAGED TO GET
AWAY AND NEVER SAW MacARTHUR
AGAIN.
>> Interview: I HAVE AN 18.5
INCH NECK, IT IS BIG, FOR HIM TO
GRAB IT WITH ONE HAND AND TWIST
IT LIKE THAT, ONE MORE SECOND HE
WOULD HAVE SNAPPED MY NECK.
>> Reporter: HE HAD NO IDEA BUT
SOME OF HIS DATING PROFILE
SUGGESTED VIOLENT SEX.
TODAY A MAN POSTED HOW MacARTHUR
PURSUED HIM LAST FALL, ONLINE
MESSAGES HE SAYS WHEN MacARTHUR
TOLD HIM HE WAS INTO AFIXATION,
HE GOT SCARED AND BLOCKED HIM.
EXPERTS SAY VIOLENT SEXUAL
FANTASIES ARE COMMON AMONG
SERIAL KILLERS.
>> THEY REHEARSE IN THEIR HEAD
FOR MANY YEARS AND THEN START TO
EXPERIMENT AND FLIRT WITH THE
IDEA OF ACTING THEM OUT.
>> Reporter: IF THEY KNOW,
POLICE ARE NOT SAYING HOW THE
FIVE MEN DIED.
IT'S JUST A MATTER OF WHEN, NOT
IF THEY'LL FIND MORE.
>> Ian: THERE ARE MORE THAN 30
PROPERTIES BEING SCRUTINIZED BY
POLICE.
THE INVESTIGATION IS BIG AND
GETTING BIGGER.
DOZENS OF TIPS CONTINUE TO COME
IN AND THE SEARCH FOR REMAINS
AND OTHER EVIDENCE HAS EXPANDED
WELL BEYOND TORONTO TO
PROPERTIES IN PEEL, YORK AND
DURHAM REGIONS.
>>> NEW DOCUMENTS SUGGEST THAT
THE BREAD PRICE FIXING SCHEME
COULD BE BIGGER THAN WE THOUGHT.
>> Andrew: THE PLACES WHERE SO
MANY DO THEIR SHOPPING, THEY
BROKE THE LAW AND THE COURT
DOCUMENTS TODAY REVEALED THE
LIST OF WHO KNEW WHAT ABOUT THE
SCHEME THAT DATES BACK MORE THAN
A DECADE.
THE COMPETITION BUREAU CALLS IT
AN ALLEGED CARTEL.
LOBLAWS, SOBEY'S, GIANT TIGER,
WALMART AND ALL THE BRANDS THEY
OWN, THAT CAPTURES JUST ABOUT
EVERY WHERE MOST CANADIANS DO
THEIR SHOPPING.
CANADA BREAD AND WESTON BAKERIES
WHO ALL "PARTICIPATED IN A
CONSPIRACY TO FIX THE PRICE OF
BREAD."
SO HERE'S WHAT THE BUREAU SAYS
IT HAS BEEN COSTING YOU.
SINCE 2001, THE COMPANIES
ALLEGEDLY AGREED TO RAISE PRICES
AT LEAST 15 TIMES AND EACH TIME
ABOUT $0.10 WAS ADDED TO EACH
LOAF.
AFTER 16 YEARS OF ARTIFICIAL
PRICE INCREASES, WE'RE ALL
PAYING AT LEAST AN EXTRA 1.50
FOR EACH LOAF OF BREAD.
FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO EAT ALL
THE BREAD, IT ADDS UP.
HERE'S JACQUELINE HANSEN ON HOW
THE ALLEGED PLOT TOOK SHAPE.
>> Reporter: THE COMPETITION
BUREAU ALLEGES THAT SENIOR
OFFICERS AT THE BREAD SUPPLIERS
WORKED TOGETHER TO RAISE
WHOLESALE PRICES AND THEN MET
WITH THE RETAILERS.
THE BUREAU BELIEVES EACH
RETAILER AGREED TO THE HIKES AS
LONG AS COMPETITORS WERE ON
BOARD.
THE COMPETITION BUREAU SUBMITTED
THE CLAIMS TO THE COURT IN THE
FALL TO OBTAIN SEARCH WARRANTS.
>> PROVING A CONSPIRACY OR
CARTEL RELIES ON WHAT WAS SAID
SECRETLY AMONG PEOPLE.
BUT WHEN ONE OF THE TWO OF THE
PARTIES SAY MATTERS WERE
DISCUSSED, THAT'S THE BEGINNING
OF EVIDENCE.
>> Reporter: LOBLAWS AND WESTON
ADMITTED THEY WERE INVOLVED BUT
THE OTHER COMPANIES DENY
VIOLATING THE ACT.
SOBEY'S ISSUED A PARTICULARLY
STRONG STATEMENT TODAY, CALLING
THE ALLEGATIONS IRRESPONSIBLE
AND RECKLESS VOWING TO FIGHT
FALSE ALLEGATIONS IN COURT.
CANADA BREAD CLAIMS THE
ACCUSATIONS DATE BACK TO A TIME
THE COMPANY WAS UNDER PREVIOUS
OWNERSHIP.
IF ANY OF THE COMPANIES ARE
CHARGED AND FOUND GUILTY, THEY
COULD FACE MAJOR FINES AND EVEN
JAIL TIME.
>> YOU HAVE TO MAKE THEM PAY I
THINK MONETARILY IF YOU CAN AND
IF YOU PUT PEOPLE BEHIND BARS
IT'S GOING TO MAKE PEOPLE SAY I
DON'T WANT TO BE INVOLVED IN THE
FUTURE.
>> Reporter: EVEN THOUGH NONE OF
THE ALLEGATIONS HAVE BEEN
PROVEN, IT'S ENOUGH FOR SOME
CONSUMERS AND INDUSTRY WATCHERS
TO QUESTION WHAT ELSE MIGHT BE
GOING ON.
>> NOW I'M ASKING MYSELF WHERE
ELSE IN THE GROCERY STORE IS
THERE COLLUSION OTHER THAN
BREAD.
>> Reporter: THE COMPETITION
BUREAU CONFIRMS THE
INVESTIGATION OF THE ALLEGED
BREAD PRICE FIXING IS ONGOING.
IN THE MEANTIME, FOR THE GROCERY
INDUSTRY IN CANADA, THAT
TYPICALLY PRIDES ITSELF ON
COMPETITIVE PRICING, CONSUMER'S
TRUST IN THAT COULD BE AT RISK.
>> Ian: OTHER STORIES WE'RE
WATCHING, THE TOTALS ARE
STAGGERING, WE LEARN HOW MANY
PEOPLE DIED FROM OPIOIDS IN B.C.
LAST YEAR.
ONE NUMBER MAY CONTAIN SOME
HOPE.
>> Andrew: WE HEARD THE STATE OF
THE UNION, TONIGHT THE STATE OF
THE DEMOCRATS.
PAUL HUNTER WILL TAKE US WHERE
YOU MIGHT NOT THINK TO MEET MANY
OF THEM, TEXAS.
>> Ian: AND DAVID COCHRANE
REVEALS AN UNLIKELY SOURCE OF
SECRETS ON PARLIAMENT HILL.
>> DOWN THIS HALLWAY AND THAT
HALLWAY ARE WASHROOMS.
WHEN THE CAUCUS MEETS ON
WEDNESDAY, THEY POST SEC
>> THE DEFENSE MINISTER NEEDS TO
IN SHORT ORDER GET A HANDLE ON
IT TO MAKE SURE THERE'S NO OTHER
LEAKS.
>> THIS CULTURE OF LEAKING MUST
STOP.
>> Ian: PARTY POLITICS ARE FULL
OF SECRETS THAT GET LEAKED FOR A
SPECIFIC PURPOSE, TO GET
REACTION TO A NEW IDEA OR
EMBARRASS AN OPPONENT.
ON PARLIAMENT HILL SOME LEAKS
ARE ACCIDENTAL.
AS DAVID COCHRANE TELLS US, THEY
SEEP INTO A ROOM USUALLY KNOWN
FOR PRIVACY.
>> Reporter: WITH ALL OF THE
HISTORY HERE IT WOULD BE GREAT
IF THE WALLS COULD TALK.
IT TURNS OUT, THEY KIND OF CAN.
>> THE DOORS LEAK, THE SOUND
LEAKS THROUGH INTO THE HALLWAYS,
ALL OF THE OLD WALLS, ALL BUILT
WITH BRICK, SOME OF THEM THREE
FEET THICK, YOU WOULD THINK THEY
WOULD HAVE GREAT SOUND PROOF BUT
THEY DIDN'T.
>> Reporter: PARLIAMENT HILL IS
A COMPLEX OF HERITAGE BUILDINGS
FROM THE 19th CENTURY.
HOLES HAVE BEEN PUNCHED THROUGH
THE STONE WALLS TO HANDLE
VENTILATION AND WIRING, IT'S
TURNED THE PLACE INTO AN SIV.
>> YOU COULDN'T HAVE
CONFIDENTIAL CONVERSATIONS INTO
THE HALLWAYS OR MEETING ROOMS.
>> THE RENOVATIONS WILL SOLVE A
LOT OF THE PROBLEMS BUT IN THE
MEANTIME, M.P.s HAVE TO FIND
CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO KEEP
CONVERSATIONS SECRET.
YOU WOULD EXPECT TO SEE SECURITY
OUTSIDE OF CAUCUS ROWS BUT
THERE'S SOMETHING GOING ON DOWN
HERE.
WE CAN'T TAKE OUR CAMERAS TO
SHOW YOU EXACTLY WHAT'S
HAPPENING BUT DOWN THIS HALLWAY
AND THAT HALLWAY ARE WASHROOMS
AND WHEN THE CAUCUS MEETS ON
WEDNESDAYS, THEY POST SECURITY
GUARDS OUTSIDE THE WASHROOMS.
THE SECRET CONVERSATIONS SEEP
THROUGH THE WALLS INTO THE
TOILET STALLS TO GET A LEAK
WHILE TAKING ONE.
>> THERE'S NO EXPECTATION OF
PRIVACY BUT IN MANY CASES PEOPLE
DON'T KNOW.
THEY GO INTO THE OFFICE, M.P.,
THEY CLOSE THE DOOR, THEY'RE IN
THE MEETING ROOM AND ASSUME NO
ONE CAN HEAR THEM, BUT YOU CAN
HEAR THEM IN THE JANITOR'S
CLOSET, THE NEXT HALLWAY.
>> Reporter: HE HAS DONE A LOT
OF WORK FOR THE FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT OVER THE YEARS, HIS
OTHER BIG CLIENT IS MORE FAMOUS
THAN THE PRIME MINISTER,
BUILDING A STATE OF THE ART
STO
STUDIO FOR DRAKE.
WHICH IS MORE FUN?
>> Interview: ABSOLUTELY
BUILDING A NEW STUDIO.
IT'S TOTALLY FREE-FORMED.
>> Reporter: A PLACE FAMOUS FOR
POLITICAL LAKES, TRYING TO PLUG
SOME UNINTENDED ONES.
DAVID COCHRANE, CBC NEWS OTTAWA.
>> Andrew: AND NOW YOU KNOW.
AFTER DONALD TRUMP'S STATE OF
THE UNION ADDRESS, DEMOCRATS ARE
AS DETERMINED AS EVER TO FIGHT
HIS AGENDA.
DO THEY HAVE A CHANCE IN THE
REPUBLICAN FORTRESS OF TEXAS.
>> WE HAVE TO GET OFF OUR ASSES,
IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ON ITS
OWN.
THAT'S WHAT WE SAW WITH HILLARY.
THINGS ARE CHANGING HERE.
IT'S LIKE A BIG SLEEPING GIANT
>> IT WAS A TRANSFORMATIVE
SPEECH FOR SOME OF US LAST
NIGHT.
OUR EXPECTATIONS FOR GREATNESS
AND VISION WITH THE PRESIDENT
ARE NOT HIGH, HE STOOPED TO A
NEW LOW IN TERMS OF DEALING WITH
ISSUES.
>> Andrew: THAT'S THE RESPONSE
FROM TOP DEMOCRATS IN THE U.S.
TO DONALD TRUMP'S STATE OF THE
UNION ADDRESS LAST NIGHT.
DEMOCRATS ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES
WHO FOUND HIS WORDS AND ACTIONS
TRANSFORMATIVE.
>> HOW CAN WE HAVE A PRESIDENT
OF THE UNITED STATES THAT TELLS
THE WORLD THAT THERE'S GOOD
PEOPLE MARCHING WITH THE KU KLUX
KLAN, HOW CAN WE TELL PEOPLE
THAT GOOD PEOPLE ARE MARCHING
WITH PEOPLE WHO PREACH EVIL AND
BIGOTRY AND RACISM.
AND ME BEING JEWISH, IT WAS
BEYOND BELIEF.
>> Andrew: THAT SENTIMENT IS NOT
UNUSUAL IN THE UNITED STATES,
ESPECIALLY WITH THE MEMORIES OF
THE DEADLY VIOLENCE IN VIRGINIA
LAST SUMMER WERE FRESH.
BUT LARRY STRAUSS WHO YOU JUST
HEARD WAS A REPUBLICAN FROM
TEXAS.
HE'S NOT REPUBLICAN ANYMORE AND
NOT ALONE EITHER.
IN THE WAKE OF DONALD TRUMP'S
STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS AND
MIDTERM CAMPAIGNS GEAR UP, PAUL
HUNTER WENT TO RELIABLY RED
TEXAS TO CHECK OUT THE STATE OF
THE DEMOCRATS.
*
>> I DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE ENOUGH
SPACE.
YEAH.
>> Reporter: FOR LARRY STRAUSS
THIS IS A PRETTY BIG NIGHT.
>> THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THE
COFFEE.
>> NO PROBLEM.
>> Reporter: FINDING HIS WAY AS
A POLITICAL VOLUNTEER,
ORGANIZING A CANDIDATE'S PANEL
FOR THE BIG MIDTERM ELECTION.
>> IF YOU CAN HELP ME WITH
REGISTRATION.
>> Reporter: LARRY'S NO EXPERT
AT THIS BUT GIVING IT A GO AND
ALL OF IT AS A BRAND NEW
DEMOCRAT IN TEXAS.
>> WE'RE HAVING A FORUM TONIGHT.
>> Reporter: ALL HIS LIFE LARRY
WAS A REPUBLICAN BUT LAST YEAR
HE QUIT THE PARTY AND JOINED THE
OTHER SIDE.
WHY?
DONALD TRUMP.
REMEMBER THAT MARCH BY WHITE
SUPREMACISTS ENDING WITH
VIOLENCE AND DEATH?
AND REMEMBER TRUMP'S COMMENTS
AFTERWARD.
>> President Donald Trump: VERY
FINE PEOPLE ON BOTH SIDES.
>> I WAS NOT ONLY DISGUSTED WITH
PRESIDENT TRUMP BUT THE
REPUBLICAN PARTY.
>> FOR LARRY DEFENDING
INTOLERANCE WAS BEYOND THE PAIL.
>> Interview: NONE OF THE
REPUBLICAN PARTY STOOD UP AND
SAID THAT'S NOT RIGHT.
WE DISAGREE WITH THAT COMMENT.
WE DISAVOW THE COMMENT.
WHAT THAT DID FOR THE RACISTS
AND WHITE SUPREMACISTS AND KU
KLUX KLAN, IT GAVE THEM CREDIT.
AND I WAS DISGUSTED.
AND THAT'S WHEN I STARTED MY
TRANSFORMATION.
>> THE PROBLEM IS WE'RE GIVING
ALL THE BENEFIT TO TOP ONE
PERCENT.
>> Reporter: SWITCHING PARTIES
AND COMING OUT AS A DEMOCRAT IN
TEXAS IS HUGE.
IT'S LONG BEEN ONE OF THE MOST
REPUBLICAN STATES IN THE COUNTRY
BUT TO LARRY'S HAPPY SURPRISE,
NOWADAYS HE'S NOT ALONE.
>> I FEEL MORE ACCEPTED.
I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW MANY
DEMOCRATS THERE WERE THAT WERE
MY FRIENDS UNTIL I SWITCHED.
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.
THE REPUBLICAN PARTY DIDN'T
STAND UP BUT LARRY STRAUSS STOOD
UP.
*
>> Reporter: TURNS OUT TEXAS IS
CHANGING, INCREASINGLY THERE'S A
FRESH FACE IN THIS STATE,
YOUNGER THAN YOU MIGHT EXPECT
AND NOT SO COWBOY.
THE SUBURBS OF DALLAS ARE
GROWING AT LIGHT SPEED WITH ALL
KINDS OF PEOPLE MOVING HERE FROM
OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY AND
AROUND THE WORLD, SEEKING GOOD
JOBS AND BRINGING WITH THEM A
NEW OUTLOOK ON TEXAS POLITICS.
WANT A LOOK?
CHECK THIS SOUTH ASIAN GROCERY
STORE.
>> Reporter: IS IT FAIR TO SAY
IN A SENSE THE FUTURE OF TEXAS
POLITICS ARE IN PLACES LIKE
THIS, DO YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?
>> Interview: OF COURSE, I THINK
WE'VE HAD A TREMENDOUS GROWTH IN
THE SOUTH ASIAN COMMUNITY HERE.
>> Reporter: HER SOUTH ASIAN
BACKGROUND IS NO LONGER AN
ANOMALY IN THE STATE AND AS A
NUMBER OF SOUTH ASIANS IN TEXAS
GROWS, SO TOO DOES THEIR
POLITICAL CLOUT.
THE MESSAGE HERE...
>> YOUR VOTE COUNTS AND YOU NEED
TO COME TO THE POLLS AND WE CAN
MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
EVERY TIME WE DO ONE OF THESE
EVENTS, THE REACTION IS WE
DIDN'T KNOW THERE WERE DEMOCRATS
IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD.
>> Reporter: LIKE WITH LARRY,
SHANDA FOUND THE TRUMP
PRESIDENCY OFFENCIVE AND IT
CHANGED HER WORLD AND NOW SHE
TOO IS A POLITICAL ORGANIZER,
AIMING TO FIRE UP FELLOW
DEMOCRATS AND FELLOW SOUTH
ASIANS TO GET THE VOTE OUT TO
AFFECT CHANGE NEXT TIME EVEN
HERE.
>> I THINK WE LIVED AS CLOSET
DEMOCRATS FOR SO LONG.
WE DIDN'T GET INVOLVED IN
CONVERSATIONS, THE NEIGHBOURS
ARE ALWAYS PUTTING ON THEIR
WHATEVER SIGNS, BUSH, WHATEVER
AND KIND OF YOU DON'T PUT UP
YOUR SIGN BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT
TO CAUSE ANY TROUBLE.
>> Reporter: AND THE STATE'S
LONG FORGOTTEN DEMOCRATS BECAUSE
OF TRUMP.
>> Interview: THEY'RE FRUSTRATED
AND KNOW THEY HAVE TO DO
SOMETHING, WOMEN ARE MAD AND A
LOT OF MINORITIES ARE STARTING
TO UNDERSTAND THIS CANNOT
MAINTAIN ITSELF.
>> Reporter: AND SO IT IS THAT
SMACK BETWEEN A BEAUTY SALON AND
MARSHAL ARTS STUDIO AT THE LOCAL
DEMOCRATIC HEADQUARTERS AMID THE
ANTI TRUMP STICKERS INSIDE,
THERE'S DEMOCRATIC HOPE IN THE
HEADLINES.
BUT CAN THEY BUILD ON THAT?
>> Interview: I PULLED THE
LANGUAGE ABOUT --
>> Reporter: THE DAY AFTER
TRUMP'S ELECTION STACY DONALD
SHOW UP HERE IN TEARS.
>> Interview: I VOTED FOR
HILLARY BUT I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING
ELSE.
>> Reporter: IT WAS THE DAY SHE
TOO TURNED POLITICAL.
LAST YEAR SHE RAN FOR COLLEGE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND WON.
THE LESSON, SHE SAYS FOR ALL
TEXAS DEMOCRATS --
>> Interview: WE HAVE TO GET OFF
OUR ASSES.
IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ON ITS
OWN.
THAT'S WHAT WE SAW WITH HILLARY.
IT DIDN'T HAPPEN ON ITS OWN.
WE ALL THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO.
BUT THINGS ARE CHANGING HERE,
IT'S LIKE A BIG SLEEPING GIANT
WAKING UP.
>> CHECK.
>> CHECK.
>> Reporter: OR IS IT ALL JUST A
DEMOCRATIC DREAM.
AMONG THE MANY FRIENDS OF
FRESHLY MINTED DEMOCRAT LARRY
STRAUSS ARE THOSE WHO REMIND
HIM, REPUBLICANS ARE STILL THE
MAJORITY IN TEXAS.
AND YES, SOME BRING GUNS TO A
POKER GAME, BETWEEN HANDS
TALKING TRUMP, TAXES,
IMMIGRATION, RACE, YOU NAME IT.
>> I'M TALKING ABOUT HIS LATEST
REMARK WITH SHITHOLE.
>> HOW DO YOU KNOW HE SAID THAT.
WERE YOU IN THE ROOM.
>> I WAS NOT IN THE ROOM BUT
FEEL CONFIDENT HE SAID THAT.
>> NONE OF US KNOW FOR SURE.
EVERYBODY IS JUMPING ON THIS --
WOULD YOU ASSUME THAT IN COURT?
>> Reporter: IT'S CLEAR, TRUMP
BACKERS HERE 100% STILL BACK
TRUMP.
>> I THINK THE ECONOMY IS DOING
WELL, THE STOCK MARKET IS DOING
WELL.
TAXES ARE REDUCED.
FOR THE MOST PART WHY THERE
SHOULDN'T BE A POSITIVE GLOW ON
THE FIRST YEAR.
>> Reporter: BUT DEMOCRATIC
HOPEFULS ARE IN THIS TO ONE.
AMONG THE CANDIDATES, AN OPENLY
GAY HISPANIC WOMAN AND FORMER
SHERIFF.
WHAT DOES SHE THINK OF THE TRUMP
AFFECT IN TEXAS?
>> Interview: I'M NOT SURE BUT I
HOPE HE'S THE BEST THING THAT
EVER HAPPENED TO DEMOCRATS.
*
(applause)
>> WHEN WE FIRST STARTED THE
GRASS ROOT --
>> Reporter: ACROSS TOWN SHANDA
IS STILL AT IT, WITH A
FUND-RAISER FOR ONE OF THE
DEMOCRATS GREAT HOPES IN THE
STATE, TAKING ON TED CRUZ NO
LESS AND KEEN TO WIN THE HEARTS
OF PEOPLE EVERY WHERE, BETO
O'ROURKE.
EMBRACING LIBERAL SENSEABILITIES
IN CONSERVATIVE TEXAS AND BEING
EMBRACED FOR DOING SO.
IN A STATE PERHAPS AT A TURNING
POINT.
WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE?
>> THERE'S SOMETHING AMAZING AND
UNPRECEDENTED AT LEAST IN MY 45
YEARS.
YOU HAVE PEOPLE WHO I THINK
RECOGNIZE BECAUSE EVERYTHING
THEY CARE ABOUT IN THEIR LIVES
AND COMMUNITIES FOR THIS STATE,
FOR THE FUTURE OF THE COUNTRY IS
ON THE LINE AND THEY'RE GETTING
OFF THE SIDE LINES.
>> Reporter: BUT ARE THERE
ENOUGH?
WILL IT WORK.
CAN BETO AND THE REST OF THEM
REINVENT THE STATE?
WITH MIDTERMS COMING UP FAST,
DEMOCRATS IN TEXAS ENERGIZED BY
DONALD TRUMP ARE SET TO FIND

Shark Tank SheFit Bra Got An Offer of $250K For 33% From Daymond John - Best of Shark Tank TV - Duration: 9:41.
Best of Shark Tank TV
Shark Tank SheFit Bra Got An Offer of $250K For 33% From Daymond John - Best of Shark Tank TV
we are so excited to be here today my name is Sarah Moylan and I'm her
husband Bob Moylan and we're from Michigan I'm the creator and were the
founders of she fit we're seeking a $250,000 investment in exchange for 20%
of our company shark sheep it is the ultimate sports bra we are the first and
only fully custom adjustable sports bra on the market yes I said it fully custom
adjustable putting on could not be easier simply unzip it and put it on
like a jacket no need to be a contortionist anymore does she fit
sports bra is the only bra to have a two inch wide bus ban that will never
stretch out roll or allow you to fall out the bottom again with over 10 inches
of adjustability for you to set the rib fit that you want and banish the bumps
for good with even more adjustability for you to set the vertical lift that
you desire she fit is the perfect mix of compression and encapsulation so that
you're always comfortable and you never have to worry about that dreaded uniboob
again who's ready to be a part of the next big thing in fitness you are so not
in shape I try I try she always on like this thank you each
one of you your own personal she fit sports bra Laura of course you got me
I'll be using at the gym tonight Sarah this is the perfect fit for you he
actually does need a prom okay Damon and Mark thank you this is yours shit Lori
is it a little fake I just was gonna ask you that this does feel very padded yeah
it is very thick is there a reason for that yes so first off I created this out
of my own need for sports bra so I'm a fitness professional I have four kids at
home and when I was pregnant with my first I was trying to stay in shape and
do all the right moves for kids okay I have four little girls at home
all girls so you know I was doubling and tripling up on bras I mean when you are
big busted it's very difficult to get a sports bra that fits you the way you
need it to be so are you saying when you wear the traditional ones which are like
really like it's really stretchy nylon yes Matthew yes so that's why it said
you know because you compression and encapsulation which gives you the shape
of not having the uniboob and the zipper helps as well so because when you to put
on your compression brought of try to compress the bounce if you will it
swishes everything together you standing there
it doesn't look bulky on you but it's so padded that I would think that you would
look bigger and you don't have the pad in yours I don't I take the pads out see
this is what's so great it's really your bra and you wear it your way isn't it
uncomfortable because it's so thick oh that's a really good question it's not
uncomfortable so when you actually get this product on it is so comfortable
it's light all of these are wicking fabrics is there any other bra out there
that zips from the front like this there are sports bras that zip from the front
however we have a patent on our adjustability it's a way to just ability
partnering the shoulder strap in the Panda bus band component the two
together they're two together it's a very strong patent nobody else has this
type of technology you know most of what would just mean technically no and
nobody has it the way that we're doing it but let's get past that because the
proof is in the market itself so talk numbers we've done 220,000 dollars in
sales in 18 months 50,000 of which have been done in the last 45 days 25,000
goes out you from your ecommerce store the other 25,000 we opened up 19
retailers is it one chain no no multiple type of retail okay let me wonder who
does the talking in the family again stead of insulting her well you
say she does all the talking she does all the talking what is your role what
is her role I'm all creative engineering sales Bob's new manufacturing working
with overseas vendors did you do this full-time we have sales jobs by day and
so just a couple of what kind of sales do you do so I do my device sales i
industrial chemicals and you have four kids like crazy you have to taste and
around a bunch of kids and a have a wife that's superwoman over here guys amazing
mom and I have been very successful in our daily sales jobs but because of that
success has come a ton of freedom and I'm walking away in less than 90 days
you're walking away in less than 90 days yes why do you need a shark why do you
need $250,000 a bulk of the money about 70% is going to be to fund our inventory
because right now we need to shorten our leave times it increase our supply our
reliability we need to enhance our front-end right for our website show our
website we have such an average front-end that's been one of our biggest
challenges is we can't get a web team to get things right so the amount of sales
that we've done you guys I just need to back up and tell you have come literally
from word of mouth raster it's marketing meat hustling picking up the phone going
to trade shows and rookies okay that's that's it what is close to make that bra
right there is 1450 why don't you sell it for 58 great margin you don't hear
such an awesome listen to this though this is the thing we worried before
well we were paint we were paying almost $40 abroad to make them here in LA they
couldn't keep up with the demand we were selling out when we got them in you guys
this is a three billion dollar industry what we want to do is get into the
active wear space active wear for women is a fifteen point seven billion dollar
industry we're going outside of that pie and we're creating our own pie this
doesn't exist right you're not creating your own pottery you're you're you're
going after the sports bra industry there are things gonna get better you
may be doing a much better but you're not going outside of the pie well if you
think about it though rubber and I don't mean to challenge you but everyone's
doing adjustable sports bras in terms of adjustability it's limited we are
customizing this but this is a customizable sports bra nobody else
allows you to customize your own fit here and here it look the proof you guys
can argue all day long the proof is in the sail we've done $50,000 less 45 days
we have 200 online reviews of women that we average four and a half stars because
they love it so first of all I admired that discipline to have four kids and
then being this incredible shape I mean healthy body healthy mind right yeah
absolutely but when you start talking about you're
gonna create a brand new category of women's wear you'll lose me there
and that's a that's fair what I'm saying is that adjustability in
terms of studying your own support does not exist and the sports bra category is
huge I just need some doors to be open get me in front of the right person and
also these brawls all day I believe that like this is a big thing our retailers
retailers have to stop anywhere from 12 to 14 bras per cup size 32 34 36 ABCD
our bra because of the adjustability can go from for example this they stock
seven sizes to this we've dramatically cut their SKUs in half now that's
interesting you're reducing the SKU consolute we are and the amount of
inventory they have to house but I've been sitting here thinking about what if
I seen out there on the market so you guys have seen things that help you with
your posture yeah I've seen them they adjust here right they brace across your
base like criss cross in your back and they help you to keep your shoulders
yeah the only missing feature is is they don't come across here that's a big way
all right it's not a big deal because in patenting if you see something there's
prior art which I would imagine you must have filed that if you see something
then an examiner might look at it and say well it is intuitive that you drew
this into a bra so that concerns me and I'm not saying that you don't have a
patent or you'll lose your PIN just saying for me as an investor because I
think there are other things out there that might become problematic
and that's fine we alright we do it we appreciate that
however with apparel Daymond you know to get a patent on apparel is very hard
yeah so you know I always say you're never gonna create anything new in this
world again you know Twitter with a note on her page is like a million years ago
any crazy thing you would a t-shirt right speed to market I found a new area
that was being neglected mm-hmm I think I can add value with speed to market I I
represent Jillian Michaels for international Isis a and a lot of these
influencers so I'm gonna take a shot yeah but your valuations a little high
you wanna $250 for 20% I want to be one third partner twenty fifty thousand for
33 and a third percent okay that's a little rich isn't it would you have to
give me an answer now this guy is asking for third of your business why do you
want to give up all the equity do I need that answer right now because I love
decisive partner
for them to accept your offer we actually knew coming in what our
congratulations guys good job

Hunted: A Race for Survival Cardboard Edison 2018 - Duration: 5:13.
Hello and welcome to the how to play video of the board game Hunted: A race
for survival my name is Julio Nazario and I am the
designer. Hunted is a 1 to 5 player worker placement racing game, where each
player manages is a group of wildlife animals
that is trying to migrate from the hunting grounds of the east of the
United States to a safe haven in the West. It is a racing game so the first
player that makes it to the finish line wins the game. First we got the map, the
main map has 5 locations they've got forests, mountains, urban
areas, plains, and lakes and rivers. The map also has the time zones
there's the east, central, mountain, and pacific time zones. These time zones will
have active events on each turn and while an event is active players will
not be able to move through that location. These events will change at the
start of every new season which is a turn. Then we've got the hunters, there's 4
different types of hunters we've got the beginner, intermediate, advanced, and
killer hunter those numbers determine the movement that these hunters will be
doing on the board. Each player will have 5 available workers slots determined
by card sleeves that represent the player. Each player will start off with 2 raccoon
and as the game goes on they will be recruiting different workers or even
mating workers to create legendary wildlife animals and at the end of the
game you will end up with a lot of different workers that it will be using
to place on actions. Each animal worker is unique and they have different
stats so you'll be using them to use different actions. So the stats are the
recruitment cost we've, got the energy usage, the movement and the survival.
Energy is the main resource that animals will use to do their actions some
actions require energy and others give you energy so for example you can use
the yellow player can use the raccoon on the first placement which will give you
6 energy and each placement after that will give
5 and 4. So the green player places here they will get 5 energy
and the blue places here they will get 4 energy. So once you have energy
you can place another worker on movement and for movement you require the energy
usage so raccoon requires 2 energy. So you will pay 2 energy and you will use
the movement stat plus this number right here because it's the first
movement any one after that will change to the yellow player will be
able to move four spots the player the player being there and the active
that being the urban areas you cannot move through here or here so you can do
one, two, three, four and that is how movement works. You can also recruit
animals to recruit animals you have to place your worker on the recruit animal
pay your energy usage plus their recruitment costs for the animal. So for
example if I wanna recruit a turkey with the raccoon I have to pay for energy two
plus two and get that turkey put it in the yellow players sleeve and you'll be
able to use that worker in the next time around and a new animal will come up.
Another important action is survival and this involves the hunters at the end of
every season hunters will move determined by what type of hunter it is
the beginner hunter will move four, one, two, three, four and the advanced hunter
will move ten to the closest player every time one, two, three, four and this
is where the attack step starts up. So the yellow hunter had ten movement and
only made four, so their attack is gonna be six and this is where the survival
comes in a player will have to use for example the blue player before the end
of their turn that would have have to plan ahead and use their board
for survival and three energy and this is where the survival stat
will be used six plus one so their survival would have been seven and since
the hunter had an attack of six nothing happens and the Hunter goes away.
If your survival would have been less or equal to six
you would lose the animal on your survival and if you had no survival at
all you would lose an animal of your choice and go back to the closest animal
spawn zone on the east these are some of the mechanics and in Hunted: A Race for
Survival I hope you all enjoy the game thank you
for your consideration and have a good one.

Hello everyone it's Apostle Michelle Peterson and welcome to day 13 of our 40
days of praying four times a day and you guys sorry about day 11th it actually

posted on day twelfth which sorry about that you guys I have to try to pay
attention and you guys I have four very powerful prayers for you today very
powerful prayers and if you are new to my channel please go to my channel page

what God has called me to do and if it's something that you're interested in
please subscribe to my channel I help people walk with God really really close
and have encounters and experiences with God so if that's something you're
looking for please consider subscribing to my youtube channel okay okay our
focus for today at 6 a.m. is asking the Lord to help us to be led by His Holy
Spirit our focus at 11:00 a.m. is giving things to God and you guys this one is
very powerful I do this all the time I will explain more when we get into that
prayer our 6:00 p.m. focus is about forgiving others and our 11:00 p.m.
focus is asking the Lord to stir up the gifts of the Holy Spirit within us amen
all right so are you ready our 6:00 a.m. focus is to be led by the Holy Spirit
and here's the prayer we will be praying Heavenly Father I invite you the Lord
Jesus and the Holy Spirit into my day Heavenly Father I ask that you guide me
and lead me with your Holy Spirit teach me to walk with your spirit and to be
sensitive to him in Jesus name Amen our 11:00 a.m. focus is giving things to
God and here's the prayer we will be praying Heavenly Father thank you for
leading me father I give everything to you today I give my finances mind heart
family body spirit and soul to you I ask that you
receive it protect it and keep it there with you in your kingdom in Jesus name
and you guys I just want to share with you I do this a lot I've given my
finances and given everything to the Lord and he keeps it there and he
protects it and so the enemy can't attack your finances he can't attack
your mind he can't attack your family whatever you give to the Lord and you
don't take it back he protects it for you
and so that's I want to do a more deeper teaching on that okay so our 6:00 p.m.
focus is forgiving others and here's the prayer we will be praying Heavenly
Father thank you for taking care of everything
father I ask that you help me to forgive everyone who hurt and offend me help me
to keep my heart open to them and continue to love them no matter what
they do in Jesus name that's very important we can't get into the kingdom
of heaven if we have unforgiveness towards a person in our heart our 11
p.m. focuses asking the Lord to stir up the gifts in us okay and here is the
prayer we will be praying Heavenly Father thank you for protecting me
father I ask that you stir up the gifts of the Holy Spirit within me and repeat
this 10 times or more because when we would pray for people for God to stir up
the gifts of the Holy Spirit we will see in the spirit room that he's actually
stirring he's Stern and he's stirring so you know you keep asking him to stir it
into it's completely all stirred up okay and so then the next one father I ask
that you come into my heart in Jesus name and so in this part you
want to ask Lord to come into your heart keep keep asking him to come into your
heart until you feel his presence okay you will feel his presence when he
enters all right you guys like I said these are four very powerful prayers
look you can add these to your prayer daily prayers if you want to again I
thank you guys so much for joining me as we go before the throne room of God on
one Accord and pray I will see you guys tomorrow for our next prayer focus and
like this video comment you know and I will see you guys tomorrow god
bless
