Emma's 6 Core Stability Exercises For Cyclists | Beginner Core Workout - Duration: 8:10.
- Why bother with core stability training?
Well, because it can help you ride faster and avoid injury.
Here are six exercises to get you started
in core stability training.
I know what you're thinking.
You don't have time, and I do understand,
because cycling is already
a very time-consuming sport,
and if you also have a job, a family,
a social life, why add extra training?
Well, just a tiny bit of time every week
invested in core stability training
can make a big difference on the bike.
To be honest, once you've fallen off
an exercise ball like this,
just riding a bike feels quite easy.
I think these kinds of exercises
are especially useful if you're planning
a long sportive this summer
that involves long climbs.
The only equipment you need is a Swiss ball.
The first exercise is pretty simple,
and it looks really easy.
You'll be familiar with this
if you ever go to a yoga class.
Basically, gonna lie on your back
with your feet about two hand lengths in front of your bum,
and you're gonna tilt your pelvis
so that the small of your back is against the floor.
Then you're gonna roll your spine away from the floor
vertebrae by vertebrae until your body's in a straight line
from your shoulder blades to your knees,
really slowly and controlled.
Then roll it back down, and it's very simple,
but doing this exercise slowly
and with control is actually surprisingly difficult.
If you're a total beginning at this type of training,
I would start with trying to do this five times,
and remember that doing it fewer times and right
is more important than trying to do it
many, many times and getting the exercise wrong.
I would emphasize here that doing it with control
is much harder than rushing it.
The next exercise is called the Superman pose.
You might've seen it before.
It's pretty simple.
Get on your knees and your hands
with your hands directly below your shoulders.
Tense your lower abdominals like you did
in the previous exercise, and raise
the opposite arm and leg until they're horizontal, slowly.
Hold like that for 10 seconds, and then lower them slowly.
Repeat on the other side.
Now, I think you should start out
doing five efforts like this.
When that gets easy, you can increase it to 10.
The more advanced version of this exercise
involves bouncing your arm and leg.
Once you're in position, you raise them slightly like this,
and to raise your leg, you should be tensing
your glute, your bum muscle,
and to raise your arm, you should feel
the tension in your shoulder blades.
When the basic Superman pose gets too easy,
you can increase it to 30 seconds on each side,
bouncing like this.
Third exercise is called the boat pose.
Again, you might know this from yoga.
Start off as in the first exercise
with the feet in front of your bum lying on your back.
Then gently, and slowly, and with control,
raise your feet off the ground,
and bring your hands forward alongside your legs,
and hold that, if you can, for 20 seconds to start with.
As it gets easier, you can try holding it for longer.
When it gets really easy, you can try extending your legs
and raising and lowering them very slowly.
The whole time, only the small of your back
should be on the ground.
Not lying on your back like this.
You're basically balancing on the very bottom of your back.
Exercise number four is a very simple plank.
You want to hold yourself nice and stable
with your hands directly underneath your elbows.
Try and keep your body in a straight line
from the heels to your shoulders.
Keep your shoulders back and away from your ears,
and feel a tension between your shoulder blades,
which is where you should be holding your back,
and keep your tummy tucked under,
so not sagging like this, and not arching like this,
but a nice straight line
with your lower stomach muscles tense.
When that feels nice and easy,
try it with bent arms like this,
and if you can hold that for 30 seconds,
you're doing pretty well.
(laughs)
When you can hold the basic blank for two minutes,
and it feels pretty easy,
you can try a more advanced version
using an exercise ball like this.
With your feet on the exercise ball,
that'll make it a lot harder,
especially if you bend your arms
and try to hold that for a minute.
That's definitely quite tricky, that.
The next exercise is a side blank.
Basically, it is what it sounds like.
You want to be on one elbow,
both feet, and if you're having trouble
balancing to start with,
use the other hand to stabilize you.
The important thing here is to keep your body,
again, in a straight line from heels to shoulder,
but also, not to sag sideways like this,
and keep your body as though your back
were pressed up against a wall.
Now, when you can hold that for 30 seconds,
try raising one foot slightly
and holding it like that for 30 seconds.
It makes it a lot harder.
When that feels easy, try doing this for 30 seconds.
The most advanced version of this one
again involves bouncing your leg.
I try and do 10 bounces after holding
the side plank for 30 seconds.
Obviously, you want to do both sides for this side plank,
and it's quite useful to use a timer
to check that you've got the same time left and right.
Final and hardest exercise is hamstring curls
on the Swiss ball.
You want to raise yourself up
with your heels on the Swiss ball, shoulders on the ground,
in a nice, straight line, if you can,
from heels to shoulders, and then curl the ball towards you
whilst keeping a straight line as best you can
from knees to shoulders.
Your whole body will pivot upwards from the shoulders.
The slower you do this, the harder it is.
You want to go from full leg extension
to roughly at a right angle at your knee.
Try and start with five curls,
building up to 10, and then 15.
Right, the advanced version is with just one leg.
This is where it gets tricky
'cause you've got to balance and use your core strength.
Wish me luck.
Right, here we go.
Heels to shoulders, straight line,
one leg in the air, roll up with the other leg.
Nice and slowly, and controlled.
I can just about do 10 on each leg.
Ouch.
This set of exercises should only take you
15 to 20 minutes, and you'll start to see the benefits
if you just do them twice a week for a few weeks.
Word of caution, though, if you're a beginner
at this kind of training, it'll feel quite tricky,
so start with the easy version,
and build up to the harder version.
Try to avoid doing this kind of exercise on a full stomach.
You'll feel sick, and definitely don't have
a beer beforehand because it's hard enough
to balance on the ball as it is.
Anyway, I hope this helps you with your training.

Except we don't know where we're going. Do we the delivery woman said the Box fell off the boat near the Great Barrier Reef
There are also beautiful green eyelids that boats sail past every day. So the missing box for Bob could be in a khole race
We need a boat which we can find at the harbour
Now we just need a boat to get us to
Is it this Barrier Reef great think it looks like the ocean is having a party to have man. Oh boy
Those must be dogfish fishies
Now remember sea pup Rowley we're looking for a box with a paw print inside a book one bubble boxful bub. Got it
If you tell me some of the things you see around you then I'm off I'm getting close. Okay. I'm in a
Beautiful orange coral cave I see the same, baby

Well, we searched this whole thing and didn't find the missing box for Bob I know the only box around here
Is this one wait me neither but I've said there were thousands of sea creatures around here
Maybe one of them saw the Box fall off the boat and let's go find a sea creature
Bingo are you swimming? I thought I was are you I think so. Well, then why are we moving?
On top of the water Roley that's a beautiful green
What are you doing here we're looking for a box, that's all all for well, then you've come to the right spot
What does the box look like? Well, it looks like Bob's box. It's boxy and
It's a bubble this box we found this what about that box
See in this pause there was to see the ocean
It's my favorite deep-sea divers
Yeah, we found a bomb Jonathan was sitting on it oh this is so exciting

Holy I hope I don't get sunburned because that hurts
And it's exactly what I needed collabs are
We need something big but flies like a big fly bigger and fly, so let's get to work
We
Came here to get Sam for bob's toes. I changed everything that's crawling on the beach
We're both floating
Yeah, we poor Lakers are gonna ride the negs way and whoever searched the best wins a trophy
What's that you two doggies one the surfing contest first place and we still need something to play
I'm gonna find you
It's gonna be so happy when he sees all the Sanford's toes we should celebrate by eating those dog biscuits
I put in our collars. Yeah, all we have to do
Roli wait, we have all this and we need but not to Bob get so
Let's see
There were no little puppies around to almost run me over or wake me up for my nap or beg me to be a shark
Monster until I finally said ok
I've been looking forward to seeing you all day
Whoa, what you to get into? Oh
Actually that feels really good like what the beach must feel like in Hawaii
That was your flight a little bumpy I'm landing how I wish I could be with you
So I invented this to do the kinds of things I do if I was here. Hi bingo. Hi Roley. I

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Philip bury the hatchet for Eugenie's Royal Wedding - Duration: 3:32.
The Duchess of York and Prince Philip are said to have avoided each other for years in the wake of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew's divorce
But it appears his granddaughter's upcoming wedding has seen Prince Philip have a change of heart
A royal source says Philip, 97, will appear in the official family photos to mark the occassion on Friday October 12 at Windsor Castle
A royal insider told Richard Eden, Saturday Diary Editor at the Daily Mail: "Prince Philip has agreed to pose in the wedding snaps alongside Eugenie's mother, Sarah, Duchess of York
"It will be the first time that the pair have been pictured together in 26 years
"The Duke of Edinburgh and Fergie have been engaged in a bitter feud since sensational photos emerged of her sunbathing topless while having her toes sucked by American financial manager John Bryan in 1992
Philip has "studiously avoided Fergie" ever since. But now he may be prepared to let bygones be bygones to ensure a harmonious day for his granddaughter, Princess Eugenie
Princess Eugenie, 28, is set to be married at St George's Chapel, Windsor to Jack Brooksbank
The royal insider said: "Her Majesty and the Duke will be in the official photographs, just as they were in those of their other grandchildren, Peter and Zara Phillips, Prince William and Prince Harry
"The Duke loves his granddaughter and wants her big day to be just as special as those of her cousins
"However, Philip who underwent a successful hip operation in April, may not go to the wedding reception and socialise further with Fergie
The courtier said: "It is likely to depend on how he feels on the day." A Buckingham Palace spokesman declined to comment
The Duchess of York, 58, the former wife of Prince Andrew, publicly embarrassed the Royal Family when she was photographed while holidaying in St Tropez with Mr Bryan
But despite tensions with Prince Philip, the Duchess of York has maintained a good relationship with the Queen and has visited her at Balmoral every summer for the last three years
A royal biographer has sensationally counter-claimed it could have been Fergie that wanted the truth out
Allan Starkie told 1997 documentary 'Fergie: The Downfall of the Duchess' Sarah, also widely known as Fergie, had made "too many mistakes" whilst on her secret holiday in the south of France
Despite her indiscretions, Ms Ferguson has remained on good terms with Queen Elizabeth and other royals and has stayed at Balmoral, the Royals' summer getaway in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, several times
However, she reportedly made herself scarce before Philip, with whom it is said she has not exchanged a single word since she divorced Prince Andrew in 1996, arrived

Tips and Tricks - 5 Tips for Shadow of The Tomb Raider - Duration: 4:52.
[XBOX SOUND]
Lara Croft is at it again – er- well, I mean - technically, she's just getting started.
While the first Tomb Raider game appeared on the market back in 1996, the franchise
is still going strong.
This is largely due to the 2013 reboot that introduced us to young Lara and her dramatic
origin story.
We got to struggle along sider her while she honed her survival skills, battled bad guys,
and faced her own inner demons.
Now with the release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, we get to see an important turning
point for Lara.
We also get to see how head strong she's become ---- maaaaaybe a little too headstrong.
But, as we all know, Lara's story is still just beginning so buckle up - Here are 5 tips
for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Tip #1: Explore your surroundings
You're an explorer – so why not explore!
Hit every nook, cranny, ledge, and hedge.
There's hidden items everywhere, and -depending on your difficulty level as well as skills-
some of this stuff won't be revealed through your Survival Instinct.
You'll be rewarded with items you can use for craftables and upgrading your gear, as
well as important information or valuables you can sell to merchants for quick cash.
Most things you find will also give you XP – this alone means it's worth taking time
to search out!
Tip #2: Hidden Info
Speaking of hidden stuff, your Survival Instinct is your best bud so use it as often as you
can.
Not only will it help you take down enemies or avoid them completely, but it'll reveal
those tough-to-find items.
Some found items will be marked with magnify glass prompting you to examine it for hidden
information.
Do it - But do it slowly – when you feel a vibration in your controller it'll reveal
hidden information about that item.
This tip also references the information hidden in conversation.
There are a lot of people to chat with throughout the towns and villages, and while many of
these chats may feel like small talk, they're still worth checking.
Some conversations will mark points of interest on your map, or open up side quests – all
of which can net you some great stuff – so make sure you talk to everyone!
Tip #3: Good Vibrations
We mentioned controller vibration in the previous tip, and if you want to be thorough, you'll
want to pay attention to this throughout the rest of the game as well.
While exploring, if you feel your controller pulsing, look around you for a prompt marked
with a small shovel icon.
Digging these items up will increase your Ancient Dialects and raise your ability to
decipher important information at the monoliths.
While underwater, vibrations will also let you know when Lara's about to drown --- but
you'll find that out quick --- and probably the hard way.
Tip #4: Losing your way
This gorgeous game is jam-packed with rich detail – which might also make it difficult
to find your way at times.
If you're on 'normal' difficulty, keep an eye out for white paint.
This will show you climbable walls and ledges.
There are pocketed walls that you'll want to watch out for as well.
As you familiarize yourself with these surfaces, you'll be able to quickly navigate or respond
in times of need.
Now, if you think paint makes things too easy for you, up the difficulty.
The paint will disappear altogether, and Survival instincts won't reveal much either.
Tip #5: A change could do you good
This game gives a whole new meaning to "dressing for the occasion."
While Lara's default garb is pretty classic, an outfit change can provide a lot more than
surface-level looks.
Some pieces offer special perks that increase things like the materials earned when harvesting
plants or animals, while some can give you an XP boost for hunting or stealth takedowns.
The right top and bottom combination can even assist you when crafting items or gaining
skills, so just make sure you read through the description of each piece of clothing
in your inventory.
And check with merchants for new pieces, or search out crypts - completing a crypt will
give you the ability to craft a new article of clothing at your campfire.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will scratch that treasure hunter itch and satisfy your wanderlust.
The rich and colorful world is gorgeous – but even that is an understatement.
For long-time Tomb Raider fans, it's incredibly rewarding to watch Lara grow even further
into the legendary character we know and love.
So don your bow and climbing axe, it's time to venture into the world and raid some ancient
tombs with your good ol' buddy, Lara --- all from the comfort of your couch.

West Cork 10 Year Irish Whiskey Review - By Friends for Friends - Duration: 6:18.
hey at the end of every rainbow there's a new whiskey to drink let's go get some
hey welcome back to whiskey quests if you're new to the channel let me
introduce myself my name is Antonio and in this channel I'm going to review as
many whiskies as I can from all over the world I'm gonna go through the nose the
taste and the finish and then I like to add a touch of water just to see if the
whisky changes with that you never know unless you try it so if that's something
you like to watch go ahead and hit the subscribe button with the Bell
notification so you can stick around for more videos before we get started with
the review let me take a few seconds just to thank my brother Danny and Steve
for giving me this bottle on my birthday I'm gonna review this and then we're
gonna enjoy this bottle together let's move on with the review so what I have
here today for you guys is a 10 year old Irish single malt whiskey what that
means is that it's made entirely out of malted barley at a single distillery in
Ireland we're gonna be using the Norlan glass for this whiskey so this is a 40%
ABV that's a 80 proof whisky and it was aged in first filled bourbon barrels
there's no color added and it's non chill filtered because of that you're
gonna have this really nice gold color going on it's a very nice color let's
move on to the nose and see what we get I get vanilla and and there's pears and
apples and of course some maltiness going on this is very fruity
there's maybe a little bit of like I'm gonna say peach maybe some kind of stone
fruit pretty good move on to the taste Cheers
at first this is very light but then there's this burst of flavors that comes
out first I get some kind of like a cereal note then there's like chocolate
notes coming out some pepper notes a little bit of citrus I do get some
vanilla and then it finishes with a nice silky mouthfeel like uh I'm gonna go
ahead and say like a dark chocolate and some pepper notes in the very end
finishes on the medium side though but that's pretty good cuz that makes me
want to go back and get some more so let's add some water to this and see if
it changes or not I'm just gonna go ahead and add one drop of water
considering it's only 40% I don't think it needs that much water so West Cork
distilleries is one of the few independent distilleries as far as I
know and there's way more distilleries opening up in Ireland and that's all
thanks to you whisky enthusiasts for making it popular again
so back in 2003 this distillery was founded by three childhood friends and
two of them being ex fishermen hence the fishing boat on the front
label and they were sourcing this whiskey but I think they've been open
for quite a bit now so I'm pretty sure they're distilling your own whiskey so
this is coming from them don't quote me on that that's just what I'm thinking
considering the the time that they've been open so if anybody knows that this
is still being sourced once you go ahead and drop a comment below let us all know
if its source or not or where it's coming from it'd
be nice to know but as far as it goes for their other whiskey offerings I know
those are being made there and as a matter of fact you know they handcrafted
a lot of they're mashing fermenting and distilling equipment right there on site
by their team that's pretty cool if you ask me
so let's move on to the portion of the review with some water on the nose I'm
still getting everything I got before but I do pick up a little bit of spice
on the nose now that's the only change that I can notice right now let's move
on to the taste Cheers
so just like I thought the water just made it light even lighter than before
but there's still a lot of flavor going on it still tastes of vanilla and the
chocolate notes the spicy notes can taste a little bit more of the barrel
this time and that finish is still on the medium side except this time
finishes with like a chocolate mint that's pretty good so my final thoughts
on this single malt whiskey here I think it's a really good whiskey not
something that's gonna blow your mind and make you go buy ten bottles but it
is good and I wish it was bottled at a 43% but even at 40 percent it held its
own with some water so I'm gonna go ahead and say go ahead and try this at a
bar first before you commit to the whole bottle but at 45 dollars it's a steal
for a single malt there you have it alright so that's it for the review I
hope you guys enjoyed it and if you did go ahead and give me a like share with
your friends don't forget to drop a comment below let me know what you think
and if you haven't subscribed yet go ahead and hit that subscribe button
right now with the bail notification so you can stick around for more videos
having said that cheers guys see you in the next video bye

Ryder Cup Format Explained: How Scoring Works for 2018 | Heavy.com - Duration: 5:40.
Ryder Cup Format Explained: How Scoring Works for 2018 | Heavy.com
The Ryder Cup format can be explained in a simple way, it is a team event rather than just individual golfers competing against each other.
The simplest way to understand the scoring is that the United States and Europe will earn points for each match.
These points are added to each team's total.
There are a total of 28 points awarded, and the winning side needs at least 14 1/2 to win.
This is where it gets a bit more complicated.
There is not a typical leaderboard where golfers are jockeying for position against each other.
There are a number of different formats used, including fourball and foursomes.
Here's how the Ryder Cup describes the scoring.
Each match is worth one point, with matches ending in a draw worth 1/2 point to each side.
The first team to reach 14 ½ points (of the 28 points available) wins the Ryder Cup.
If the matches end in a 14-14 draw, the team holding the Ryder Cup retains it.
The United States team is the defending champion headed into the 2018 Ryder Cup.
The three days of the matches consist of 28 total matches, each of which is worth one point.
There are no extra holes in Ryder Cup matches.
Should the two sides be tied after 18 holes, each side earns a halve (1/2 point).
This week, the leaderboard is traded for a scoreboard as USA takes on Europe.
What Is the Difference Between Fourball & Foursomes?.
You may have heard fourball referred to by a more common name: best ball.
Two players team up and the better ball is played for each stroke.
A foursome involves two golfers (we know, it's confusing), alternating shots playing the same ball.
There are a total of four golfers if you include both teams playing, just in case you are wondering about the name.
Golf Channel provides a detailed explanation on the difference between the two.
Fourball format: In the fourball format, two players make up a team and play a better-ball against the other team.
When playing this format, it is critical that the more accurate driver hits first.
This usually means the shorter of the two would get his ball in play, allowing the longer hitter to play more aggressively off the tee… Foursomes is the most challenging format for any player or team captain.
Foursomes is sometimes called alternate shot, which gives you a better idea of how the format is played.
Two golfers play one ball, alternating between shots.
Here you must factor in the strengths of a player and even the type of golf ball that's being used.
To Earn a Point, Either a Team or Individual Has to Win a Match.
So, how are points earned at the Ryder Cup? As the video at the top of the page shows, to win a point, you have to win a match.
To win a match, you have to win more holes than the other team or person.
If two teams remain tied after play, each team earns half of a point.
The Final Ryder Cup Day Features 12 Individual Matches.
The final day of the Ryder Cup will look more familiar to fans.
There are 12 individual matches with 12 points at stake.
The winner of each match earns a point for either the United States or Europe.
The team with the overall lead after three days of play wins the Ryder Cup.

5 Year Old Girl FINED For Lemonade Stand - FACT or FICTION? - Duration: 13:27.
The ruthlessness of mankind, an unheard of demonic haunting, and a man's fascinating
escape attempt - which of these concepts are real and which are pulled from our imagination?
That's up to you to decide on this episode of Fact.. or Fiction.
The line that divides the factual from the unreal has long since blurred, the tales we
once thought fantastical now implanted as truth.
To decipher verity from the imagined, you must break from the ordinary and consider
a universe where the outlandish prevails.
Can you expand your mind to see beyond our perceived reality?
Can you decide what's fact or fiction?
It was an innocent gig for young Emily Lane, but one that encroached on another's territory,
eliciting a response that many will find shocking..
Story # 1: When Life Gives You Lemons...
Jack Lane was more than happy to provide his daughter, Emily, with the supplies she needed
for her lemonade stand.
He encouraged her entrepreneurial spirit, though he half expected her to grow bored
of the business and want to meander the county fair.
To his surprise, though, on the day of the big event, she remained diligent about her
work.
She was a big seller at the fair, wedged in between an all-beef hotdog cart and a truck
dishing out sausage and peppers in droves.
The smell was driving Jack crazy, but he promised Emily he would stay with her the whole day
to see how well her business was doing.
About halfway through the fair, he popped open her till and counted $50, a fine return
so far on $10 worth of supplies.
Little did he know that, by the end of the evening, poor Emily would really wind up being
more than $100 in the hole.
Ted Bradley was an ornery old man known for peddling his frozen beverages each year.
Nobody ever drank them.
They were always way too thick, but he always found something to blame it on.
This year, it was little Emily.
He came to the cart, looked Jack right in the eye and inquired about Emily's permit
to be selling her lemonade.
Jack initially laughed, thinking he was finally cracking a joke, but when he stood there dumbfounded
by Jack's reaction, he knew there was going to be trouble.
A brief exchange of words and Ted walked away, dissatisfied that Jack refused to force Emily
to shut down her business.
So, instead, he turned to the authorities.
Jack knew the law but felt it ridiculous to impose on a child.
Still, the officer, whom Jack suspected was closer to Ted than he let on, slapped Emily
with a $200 fine and forced her to close the stand.
Her head slumped toward the ground, Emily insisted that she give Jack the money to pay
for the fine, but her father wasn't having any of it.
Jack thought of confronting Ted, but feared it would end in a fight that would surely
kill the old man.
Instead, he took the opportunity to explain to Emily the one aspect of the world she hadn't
had to deal with yet: the harsh jealousy of others.
Could a grown man be so cruel and jealous as to shut down a young girl's lemonade stand?
Clearly, no adult could stoop so low to ruin a child's day, right?
Be sure to let us know what you think in the comment section below and by using the on-screen
poll.
We'll find out if this story is true or not at the end of show, but first, we have a tale
of horrors that will surely keep you up at night.
Can a house be evil?
Eva Ashton knows the answer to that question all-too-well after purchasing a new home in
Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Story # 2: The Amityville of the Midwest It was meant to be the family home, a place
where Eva and her children - Charlie, Rose, and Alexis - could share a life together.
Eva had eyed up Gatlinburg long before she found the home on Brentwood Lane and was enamored
by its history and small-town feel.
She didn't know that both of those things often come with a hitch: a host of ghost stories
that may very well wind up being true.
Unfortunately for Eva, hers was among the verified accounts.
While the stories Eva was telling about her new home sounded implausible and impossible,
it was only a matter of time before a curious party came in and tried to discount her claims.
That individual was Gary Welling, the first police officer that went the extra step to
look into Eva's horrifying ordeal.
She and her family didn't complain of the typical nuisances that came with a haunting.
Those things had been long gone by the time Welling arrived.
Instead, Eva spoke of possession, young Charlie climbing backward up a wall, levitating beds,
and demonic voices emanating from her sweet children.
It was just like that Long Island case, but he felt this one may have actually been credible.
The further Welling looked into it, the more he witnessed.
He started bringing in third parties to help prove he wasn't going mad, and when they,
too, saw what the Ashton's were going through, he felt better about his mental state.
Terrified for the family, but reassured that he wasn't going nuts.
Investigators arrived in droves to pinpoint the source of Eva's ordeal.
Many sought a practical response, walking away with nothing but more questions.
The children, visibly tired by what some claimed to be their mother's delusions, were eventually
taken by the Department of Child Services.
Eva could feel the presence in her, but had no control over it.
With her children gone and her life spiraling out of control, Eva did the only thing she
could think of - she underwent an exorcism.
It was a violent series of attempts at releasing Eva from the inhuman force that overcame her.
She fought back, her voice speaking in tones that seemed impossible for the woman.
She did eventually beat whatever had overcome her and was able to petition to have her children
returned.
The story of the Gatlinburg home attracted plenty of media attention, but while the Ashton
family ordeal has subsided and they began the path of a normal life, the damage had
already been done.
Eva, tired of the public response to their very private affair, eventually sold the home
in an effort to return to a life of complete and total privacy.
Did a family in the Midwest live through what some claim to be a verifiable ordeal involving
demons, ghosts, and ghouls?
It does sound like the makings of a horror movie, doesn't it?
Let us know what you think in the comment section below, as we get ready for our third
and final story.
Items throughout history can pop up when we least expect them, like the incredible discovery
Corey McIntosh made while combing the beaches of Oahu one day.
Story # 3: An Explosive Discovery He wasn't sure how nobody else had found it.
Maybe it washed up after so many years?
Corey had heard stories of wreckages still being found in the Pacific, so surely the
device that sat in front of him, pulled from a patch of seaweed not far off the coast of
Oahu's southern shore, was from one of them.
Corey was no history expert, but he knew, considering the markings on it and the location,
the foot-long object had to be an unexploded Japanese bomb from World War II.
There was no way it wasn't going to make him a ton of money, he just had to find a way
to get it back to his hotel and find a potential buyer.
That first part, however, was the tricky one.
And expensive.
Isolated on the Hawaiian Islands, there didn't seem to be much of an opportunity to sell
World War II memorabilia.
So he would need to find private transport back to the mainland, where his find wouldn't
be scrutinized and deemed too dangers to fly.
To Corey's surprise, finding a private charter that wouldn't ask questions for the right
amount of money was fairly easy.
With it packaged tightly to prevent unnecessary movement, he set back off to the states.
Upon arrival, it was time to do some research to find out what he had and who would want
it.
What never occurred to Corey was that an explosive device that's more than 70-years-old still
posed a danger.
But he went at it, brushing off the debris accumulated over the years at the bottom of
the Pacific.
He never would have expected it, but it turns out his cleaning and slight movements was
just the right combination to cause a reaction.
It may have been far from the explosion it would have yielded in the '40's, but it was
enough to collapse the first floor of the home into the basement, burying what was left
of inquisitive Corey.
The investigation into the explosion that followed initially assumed it was a meth lab-gone-wrong,
but when experts pulled metal shards from the explosive device, they pieced together
what had happened.
Corey's steps were retraced, leading back to the transport service across the Pacific,
which described him as excitable but secretive.
Ultimately, it was determined that Corey had uncovered a No. 3 Model 2 bomb used rarely
by the Japanese during World War II.
It had a smaller yield and was incredibly rare.
If properly diffused before transport, Corey may have walked away with a decent sum of
money.
We know memorabilia from wars long-since-ended can still be found all over the world, but
was Corey's find real or a tall tale?
Well.. we've reached the point you've been waiting for.. the reveal.
The Reveal: Are you ready to find out if you can decipher
between fact or fiction?
Let's look back at tonight's three stories and find out which were born from reality
and which were fabrications of the imagination.
We started tonight's episode with our story of poor Emily, the lemonade business owner.
Could someone have been so cruel?
The sad truth is, yes, it did.
The five-year-old daughter of Professor Andre Spicer in London was fined £150 during a
festival when it was discovered she did not have the required permit.
How about our second story that follows the Ashton family?
If you think this one is too far-fetched, you may be surprised to find that it actually
happened.
Granted, it happened in the sense that one Latoya Ammons of Gary, Indiana relayed a story
about a haunting in her home.
Her claims of levitation and demonic voices were largely believed to have been verified
by third parties, lending credence to her claims.
Her home was later purchased - and demolished - by Zak Bagans of Ghost Adventures fame.
Finally, we have poor Corey, a visionary who got in a little over his head.
Do you think some vacationer to the Hawaiian Islands uncovered an explosive device from
World War II?
While the No. 3 Model 2 bomb used early on in the war could have been a fascinating find,
our story happened.
This one was fabricated by our very own writers.
How well did you do in tonight's video?
Did you look past the deception of our world and define the oft-blurred line that struggles
to separate lies from the truth?
Let us all know in the comment section below and should you find the urge to test your
perceptions again, be sure to subscribe and join us next time when we ask you to decide
what's fact... or fiction.
