Stranger Helps G'ma Stranded In Airport. When Identity Is Revealed Her Jaw Drops - Duration: 3:51.
They say character is who you are when no one's watching.
If that's the case, this young man has it in spades!
An elderly woman was flying into the Appleton International Airport in Wisconsin recently.
When the plane landed, she struggled to carry her bags and use her cane.
As she dragged her bags behind her, a young man who had been sitting in the row across
from her asked if she needed help.
She gratefully told him yes and he picked up her bags and followed her off the plane.
As they were walking off the plane, the flight attendant told the woman someone would be
waiting for her with a wheelchair, but when they got into the jetbridge, all the wheelchairs
were folded up and no attendants were in sight.
Once again, the kind stranger offered to lend a hand.
He asked if she wanted him to push her and she again said yes.
Well, this woman may not have known who her knight in shining armor was, but as soon as
they exited the terminal and met up with her daughter, it all became abundantly clear.
The woman's daughter noticed the Green Bay Packers tags on the young man's bags.
She asked him if he played for the team and he told her he did.
The young man turned out to be none other than Packers running back Aaron Jones!
The women thanked Jones and then took some quick pictures with him.
Then the kind football player went quietly on his way.

He seems like a standup guy.
My mom & grandma both said, 'He must have been raised very well.'"

That might have been the end of the story had an eagle-eyed fan not noticed the player's
kind act and snapped a photo in the airport.
In no time at all, the photo had gone viral.
Just watched Packers Aaron Jones push a random lady through the Appleton airport because
there was no there to push her GO PACK GO.
When Jones saw the picture pop up on his phone, he was surprised.
"You could tell she got excited," he said, speaking of the older woman's daughter,
"and it made me happy.
But I did not know anybody had taken a picture until I got home and got on Twitter."
As the photo made the rounds on the internet, others chimed in to share their own stories
of this 23-year-old football player's heart of gold.
Nancy Swopes posted some sweet photos of Jones with her 92-year-old mother and her nephew,
who has Down Syndrome.
"He has a genuine loving heart that we get to witness all the time," she wrote.
"I'm so happy that other people get to see it now too!"

Packers coach Mike McCarthy also joined in the conversation, saying how proud he is of
this rising star.
"Well, I will tell you, it brings a big smile to my face when it comes across my phone,"
he said.
"I will just say about Aaron Jones and our players: I look at that as I'm thankful
that everybody else is getting to see what I get to see pretty much every day.
I mean, this is a tremendous locker room.
We have been very fortunate and blessed with the caliber of character that we have in our
locker room.
"So when things like that are expressed, especially on social media, it brings a smile
to my face.
But that's what I get to experience with these guys every day.
Their heart is in the right place, and I'm sure obviously he probably did not even know
someone took that picture.
That's just the type of guy he is."
As for Jones, he says all of the attention is unwarranted.
"I was just doing what anybody else would do," he said.
It is clear this humble young man was raised right.
We only hope others will follow his lead!
If there's one thing this world needs, it's a little more kindness.
