hot-off-the-press when Lennar homes is buying CalAtlantic
homes and I've been telling some people today already that I've been talking to
who or cow Atlantic future homeowners about this and the question that's
really coming to mind is that gonna affect me as it can affect my warranty
what happens when I close the home and all I tell them is pretty much no
because I think through this before remember a couple years ago Ryland did
Standard Pacific merged and then years ago when our ended up buying us home so
it really doesn't have any effect I mean when it comes to the warranty and how
things are done once they the acquisitions complete and they buy cow
Atlantic you know things are gonna probably change more internally they are
two completely different builders but both very very good builders for
different reasons I mean how they negotiate contracts is completely
different you know how they you know pay attention to the attention to detail
outside the home inside the home and behind the walls is completely different
on both builders but again they're both very very good builders and this is good
I was happy to hear this because right now as it sits
DR Horton is gonna probably be the number one builder in the nation when
our would be the number two builder Polti the number three and cow Atlantic
the number four so I'm certainly glad is one our that's buying cow Atlantic over
say DR Horton or Polti so anyhow if you have any questions let me know if you

What is Remote Support/Monitoring? - Duration: 1:12.
Remote monitoring is the opportunity for technology to assist with staffing for
an individual. So instead of needing to staff 24/7 in the home maybe we can use
some form of current technology to ease that burden. One of the things that we've
heard across all formats is there's a staff shortage going on.
Providers are saying this. County boards are saying this. We are having
trouble staffing the needs that we have. So using technology across different
formats we're looking at how we can ease that burden for the county boards for
the state and also build some independence with the individuals that
are ready to take that next step. And Kyle hi everybody this is Laurel and
Kyle when you say technology some people think of like robots right away or all
these awesome movies that have come out in the past five years where robots
basically take over the world but what you're really talking about is
a service that has existed in our service delivery system for years relies
on equipment that people are already familiar with and already use in
different ways and it's just applied to these staffing needs.

Is Remote Support/Monitoring for Everyone? - Duration: 0:33.
No remote monitoring isn't the perfect service for everyone and in this example
the person requires a lot of physical total support. So lifting things,
positioning this may not be the best service for someone who really needs
that physical hands-on assistance. So like we always say in our other
educational programs about services not every service is a perfect fit for
everybody and that's a good thing to keep in mind.
