White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will reportedly get Secret Service protection after she was asked to leave a Virginia restaurant because of her association with President Donald Trump

NBC News was the first to report the news, citing a law enforcement official and noting that security would be temporarily provided at Sanders' home

A source familiar with the matter confirmed to Reuters that Sanders would get protection

The Secret Service and the White House have both declined to comment.  The White House press secretary, who has received widespread criticism in the past for defending the president's lies, tweeted over the weekend about how she had been asked to leave the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, because she "works for POTUS

"  The restaurant's co-owner, Stephanie Wilkinson, confirmed the incident to the Washington Post, saying she asked Sanders to leave because she works for an "inhumane and unethical" administration and defends the president's cruelest policies

Sanders' father, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, told Fox Business Network that his daughter was getting the protection because of other threats she's received

"Well, it's not so much related to the Red Hen as it is to other threats and you got to remember, she has three small children and there have been some nasty things," he said

This isn't the first time the Secret Service has responded to unique threats and circumstances

In January 2017, Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway received Secret Service protection after she said suspicious white substances were delivered to her home

"Because of what the press is doing to me, I have Secret Service protection," Conway told Fox News' Sean Hannity at the time

"We have packages delivered to my house with white substances. That is a shame and, yes, I hold them to account for it

"  While presidential nominees are guaranteed Secret Service protection during the election, in 2011, Herman Cain became the first Republican presidential candidate to receive a Secret Service detail following threats

While they were still GOP presidential candidates in 2016, Trump and Ben Carson also received Secret Service protection amid threats

The Secret Service has regularly adjusted to waxing and waning threats. After the Sept

11, 2001 terror attacks, the Service beefed up security around Bush administration officials

And when Barack Obama was elected, racist threats were so rampant, that the Service layered on additional security for his team, as well, including a then-unprecedented detail for Obama's highest-profile advisor, Valerie Jarrett

GDPR Compliance is an Ongoing Effort - Duration: 0:44.

Complying with new regulations is not a one-time thing. You don't just do an

assessment of your company and then move on. You must put practices and procedures

and technology in place in order to comply with those regulations both at

the beginning and long-term. Often companies think it's a band-aid that

they need to fix once, and once they've addressed it they can then move forward.

But you need to think about not only the infrastructure that's supporting your

compliance and those regulations, but also how you're going to fulfill against

the customer experience you've promised to your customers.

The Nets' interest is for the Magic's other free agent - Daily News - Duration: 4:09.

The Nets need another athletic big, and some great young ones are hitting restricted free agency, GM Sean Marks' weapon of choice

But fans already penciling Aaron Gordon or Clint Capela into the lineup may be disappointed

After Marks handed Otto Porter Jr., Tyler Johnson and Allen Crabbe huge offer sheets over the past two offseasons, many Brooklyn fans are expecting him to go big in an RFA market that includes Orlando's Gordon, Houston's Capela, the Lakers' Julius Randle and Milwaukee's Jabari Parker

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith stirred the pot Wednesday by speculating that Brooklyn might throw a huge offer sheet at Randle or Capela

But don't bet on Gordon or Capela, or Brooklyn breaking the bank for anybody.  The Nets' top priority is protecting their trove of salary-cap space for the summer of 2019, when they could have enough room for two max deals

They think they have Capela-lite in Jarrett Allen, who molds his game after the Rockets star

And while they may have interest in Randle, he'd require a move to clear cap space (like dealing DeMarre Carroll or Jeremy Lin)

Brooklyn wants to maintain flexibility while Gordon wants to stay in Orlando, preferring to not even get to the point of talking to other teams in the free agency dog-and-pony show

"Hopefully not. Hopefully we just get in wrapped up with Orlando. That would be fantastic," Gordon, 22, said Tuesday night on the red carpet for the premier of "Uncle Drew" at Lincoln Center

"Yeah, that would be great. That'd be great."  The Magic tendered Gordon a qualifying offer on Tuesday, and president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman told the Orlando Sentinel he didn't think they'll have to "recruit" Gordon because of the relationship they've already developed

By the sound of Gordon on Tuesday, Weltman was right.  Once the Nets complete a buyout with Dwight Howard — assuming he leaves about $8 million on the table to bolt Brooklyn — they could have up to $12 million to spend

They may not even spend that, eyeing cheaper players and holding cap space into the season

The Lakers' pursuit of LeBron James and Paul George could leave Randle obtainable, although he also could end up in a deal for Kawhi Leonard

Meanwhile, Gordon stated he wants a max contract and said Tuesday he felt he'll get one

"Definitely," Gordon said. "But we'll see how it goes; whatever Orlando wants to do

As a restricted free agent, I have complete trust in the regime. So it's going to go how it's going to go

"  Brooklyn definitely has interest in Gordon's teammate, Mario Hezonja, 23. That's the kind of neighborhood they're shopping in

Hezonja hasn't lived up to his billing as the No. 5 pick in 2015, but the Nets have liked him for some time and are known to do the reclamation-project thing

After acquiring the No. 2 (D'Angelo Russell) and No. 3 (Jahlil Okafor) picks in that same draft, and the No

8 pick from 2014 (Nik Stauskas), Hezonja could be the latest roll of the dice.  After Orlando declined to pick up Hezonja's fourth-year option, he finally started showing signs of tapping into his potential

He averaged a career-high 9.6 points last season, but bumped that to 14.0 points on

371 percent from deep in 30 starts. At 6-8, 215 pounds, he can play anywhere from the two through four, but started taking advantage of mismatches as a smallball four

Flake: Just because travel ban is constitutional doesn't mean it's a good idea - Duration: 3:14.

Flake: Just because travel ban is constitutional doesn't mean it's a good idea

Sen.  Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.

) responded to the Supreme Court's decision to uphold President Trump's travel ban, saying on Wednesday that just because the measure is constitutional does not mean it is a good idea.

Flake cited a piece he wrote on Medium in April of 2017, arguing against the ban.

"I feel the same today.

Just because something is constitutional doesn't make it wise.

The travel ban does not make us safer," the senator wrote on Wednesday.

Flake argued last year that a blanket ban on one nationality would not ultimately help the U.S.

in the global war on terror.

"This does not, however, make the new travel ban a good idea.

I fail to see what national security gains are achieved.

In fact, our long-term security goals are compromised," Flake wrote last year.

"To win this war on terrorism we will need the help of good and decent citizens in every country — including those countries compromised by terrorism.

Imposing a blanket ban based on nationality will only make such assistance more difficult to obtain." .

The Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision to uphold Trump's travel ban on Tuesday, saying the president has broad discretion to suspend the entry of aliens into the U.

"The president lawfully exercised that discretion based on his findings – following a worldwide, multi-agency review – that entry of the covered aliens would be detrimental to the national interest," Chief Justice John Roberts said.

Trump issued the policy by presidential proclamation, which limited travel into the United States by people from Iran, Libya, Syria, Somalia, and Yemen.

Russia map: Where is Kaliningrad? Is it safe for England fans? - Duration: 2:32.

Both England and Belgium are guaranteed a place in the final 16 of the World Cup, but they will still play each other at the Kaliningrad Stadium, in Kaliningrad, at 7pm BST on Thursday

Lucky fans who have a ticket will have not be travelling to Russian mainland to watch the match though

Where is Kaliningrad?  Kalingrad is a Russian exclave, a piece of land which is politically attached to a larger piece but not physically

The Kaliningrad Oblast (region) is sandwiched between Poland and Lithuania on the Baltic Sea and is closer to the Danish capital of Copenhagen than it is to Russia

The city was founded by Teutonic knights in the 13th century and its original German name was Konigsberg

Soviet trooped annexed the territory in 1945 and remained it Kaliningrad after Mikhail Kalinin, a high-ranking Bolshevik revolutionary

Josef Stalin, who was Soviet leader at the time, used the city's port, as it was able to stay open through the winter, unlike many freezing ports in outer Siberia

EPA After Lithuania joined the EU, travelling between Kaliningrad and Russia without crossing the territory of an EU state is now impossible

Is it safe for England fans?  The European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) is the Union's agency dealing with the analysis of foreign, security and defence policy issues

The agency admitted: "Kaliningrad is notorious for the immense problems it has to deal with

GOOGLEMAPS  "Kaliningrad's officials have to deal with the highest percentage of HIV infections in Europe and with an intimidating scale of organised crime

"Large outdated industries face structural collapse, resulting in high unemployment rates

One third of Kaliningrad's one million inhabitants live below the poverty level." However, it has been suggested by analysts that Putin is using the World Cup to portray Kaliningrad in a more positive light

Zachary Witlin, an analyst at the Eurasia Group, said: "Being able to invite World Cup fans to see the city and to welcome guests is a rare chance to associate the city with something positive in the international media

What Is GDPR? - Duration: 1:32.

Hi, I'm Eric Holtzclaw, Chief Strategist with PossibleNOW,

And I'm sitting with Senior Associate Matt Dumiak from CompliancePoint,

which is a sister company of PossibleNOW,

and we're talking about the new

regulation GDPR and what GDPR means to someone who may be in the marketing or customer care or customer experience part of an organization.

So what is GDPR and why do I care ?

Yeah, so right off the bat another acronym, not confusing at all, but GDPR stands for General Data Protection

Regulation. It's a comprehensive regulation in Europe.

It gives consumers a lot of privacy rights, is really the aim. It also looks to

consolidate a lot of the confusing laws in the EU because, as you know, if you're an organization going to market into the EU

you're responsible at this point of looking at

every different country and what their marketing rules are. But not only that, but what are their privacy regulations.

The regulation the GDPR looks to consolidate that and help with some of the confusion with organizations.

Not to say that there aren't more restrictive laws, so that's important to note,

but it really helps consolidate everything so, but then it also at that point

It applies to US-based companies that they're marketing to the EU or monitoring data of EU subjects.

So that's what's important. Providing a common kind of language or common approach? Exactly, exactly.

Instead of translating, you know, 27, 28 different languages. At this point the regulation is

available in English and it applies to US-based companies if they're marketing there, so it's something they certainly need to look into and be aware of.
