Bear Grylls is Olympic star Adam Peaty's dream mentor

The Rio gold medal-winning swimmer has turned down big money to do reality shows in the past. But he admits he'd jump at being mentored by a real-life action man.

Adam said: "It would be pretty cool to do a show with Bear Grylls. "I've done a two-day hike with someone from the SAS before and I enjoyed it..

"I want to create a legacy before I do telly stuff like that" Adam Peaty "It works your mind in a different way to swimming. It was a new challenge.

"And doing something with Bear would be like that." Adam reveals that he snubbed an offer to compete on I'm A Celebrity. He said: "After the Olympics last year I was offered quite a few TV shows..

One of them was the Jungle but I've got too much going on to do a full series like that. "I wanted to back up my Olympic wins – I didn't want to be a one-hit wonder.

"I want to create a legacy before I do telly stuff like that. I only really have time to do a one-off episode of something." Adam is among the nominees for this year's BBC Sports Personality Of The Year. ------------------------------------------------------------------------.

DAVID Walliams claims homophobic parents campaigned against him online. The TV judge's new book Bad Dad includes a gay wedding – and it's made him a target.

He told Radio Times: "I got two reviews both saying, 'Don't let your children read this.' "My best friend from school is gay and I was best man at his wedding.

JUDGES Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith were baking hot while filming their festive special. They shot it in the height of summer but bosses got them to wear festive jumpers.

Prue said: "It was extraordinary as one of the days we filmed was in July.

It did seem strange to be wearing a Christmas jumper in the middle of the summer." Paul added: "I wear a really naff Christmas jumper in both of the episodes, but I don't mind at all, it's all part of Christmas – I would wear a Christmas onesie if they found one big enough!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------.

JUDY Murray and Jeremy Vine reckon their dancing has improved. The pair struggled on Strictly in the past but they return for a Christmas Day special at 6.30pm on BBC One.

Judy told Radio Times: "I feel more confident because I know what I'm letting myself in for." And Jeremy added: "I have tried to move to music in a slightly more thoughtful way.".

Victoria Christmas special 2017: When is the Jenna Coleman drama on? Cast, trailer, more

When is the Victoria Christmas special? The Victoria Christmas special will air on Christmas Day (Monday, December 25) at 9pm on ITV.  The episode called Comfort and Joy will be a feature-length special with a running time of two hours.  This is the first Christmas special for Victoria and follows in the footsteps of Downton Abbey which previously aired Yuletide episodes.  Creator Daisy Goodwin has written the special which sees Christmas come to Buckingham Palace.

WHEN WILL VICTORIA SEASON 3 AIR?. What will happen in the Victoria Christmas special? The one-off Christmas special will see the royal couple clashing as tensions hit an all-time high around the festive period.

ITV has released a synopsis giving fans a taster of what to expect: "Set in Christmas 1846, the episode sees Victoria uncharacteristically melancholy as she prepares to tackle her first Christmas without her beloved Baroness Lehzen.  "Pregnant with her and Albert's fourth child, the festive period reminds her of her lonely childhood spent at Kensington.  "Albert, on the other hand is gripped by an obsession with staging the perfect family Christmas, transforming the palace into a magical festive wonderland. .

"Tensions arise between him and Victoria, however, when Albert invites some unwelcome house guests to join the celebrations.   "Below stairs, having accepted their feelings for one another, Francatelli and Skerrett are finally together.

  "However, as romances amongst staff are forbidden, the pair cannot show that they're in love to their co-workers which puts strain on the relationship.   The situation complicates further when Skerrett inherits a large estate from an estranged uncle.

Goodwin previously told Express.co.uk of the Christmas special: "Its going to be amazing.

It's going to be the most Christmassy Christmas special ever made, I would say.  "There's snow, there's ice, there's dramatic rescues, there's dogs, there's proposals, there's everything you could possibly want." She added: "Not death exactly but there's near-death.

Danger and peril which people won't be expecting but is actually historically true.".

Who is in the cast of the Victoria Christmas special? Jenna Coleman will be taking centre stage as Queen Victoria, while Tom Hughes will be back as her husband Prince Albert.

Game of Thrones actress Dame Diana Rigg will be back as Duchess of Buccleuch, The Crown's Alex Jennings as King Leopold, Peter Firth as the King of Hanover, David Oakes as the Duke of Coburg.

Meanwhile, Margaret Clunie is putting on the mantle of the Duchess of Sutherland, Catherine Flemming as the Duchess of Kent, Jordan Waller as Lord Alfred Paget and Bebe Cave (Frankie) as Miss Wilhelmina Coke.  The below stairs cast will see Outlander actress Nell Hudson returning as Mrs Skerrett, Ferdinand Kingsley as chef Francatelli and Adrian Schiller (The Secret Agent) as Penge.

Will there be another season of Victoria? Yes, ITV has confirmed that the drama has been recommissioned for season three.

There's no air date as yet but it's likely to be August 2018 judging from the premieres of the previous seasons.  Coleman and Hughes have been confirmed to return and season three will be starting in 1848.

The Victoria Christmas special, Comfort and Joy will air on ITV on Christmas Day at 9pm.

Nigerian singer, Davido has shared his excitement at the trending photo of Nigerian singer, Tekno posing with Canadian rapper, Drake.

There has been indications that Tekno may just have gotten signed to Drake's OVO Sound label and Davido seemed enthused about the development.
