Not Here for IT - Duration: 15:12.

In one of my finer moments of inspiration, I called Mari, from mynameismarines, "BookTube Jesus"

when she read "The Handbook for Mortals," because she suffered so that we, as a community, as a collective,

might not have to. And today, I guess I'm here to take my turn as BookTube Jesus.

Bibliophiles of the internet, my name's Adriana. I have been through so much to bring you this video.

Today I will finally be getting into why I'm not here for It.

It," being the novel, if you can call it that, by Stephen King.

I would personally call it a 1200 page torture device that lures you in with a promising concept

and then just eventually stamps out your will to live by piling garbage on top of garbage on top of garbage.

Disclaimer: I do not purposefully pick up books, especially 1200 page books, just to hate-read them.

I don't choose books that are problematic just so I can speak out against them.

And I don't believe any reader is obligated to read anything that is gross or problematic

just so that they can "form their own opinion on it."

It just so happens that I saw potential in this story, and by the time I started to truly hate it,

I was too invested and committed, which is why I'm here today to spill all the tea.

Because I am nothing if not a fair reviewer, I'm gonna start with the positives, because, believe it or not,

if you cut out roughly 80% of this book, which was just pure nonsense—like just skim that right off the top—

there were actually some good things worth mentioning. So I guess I'll start there.

For those of you who don't know, "It" takes place in a small town in Maine called Derry,

which has been haunted, collectively, by a vicious, mysterious entity lurking in the sewers

for hundreds upon hundreds of years.

It is a shapeshifter, and it can appear as whatever fear is preoccupying your mind at the moment,

but because It preys on children, primarily, it often appears as a clown called Pennywise.

Every 27 years, it goes on a massive killing spree, and these grisly, gruesome murders stack up

and eventually end in some kind of huge tragedy, and only then, after its hunger has been sated,

will it go to "rest" for another 27 years.

The main cast of characters in this story, The Losers Club, are called to action when one of their younger brothers

is killed by It, and they have sworn as a group to get to the bottom of Derry's bloody history

and, ultimately, to destroy It, at whatever cost.

One thing I will give this story is that is does an exceptionally good job of exploring the psychology

of fear and how fear is connected to power.

Very early on, we're introduced to this instantaneous phenomenon of forgetting.

Forgetting is the mind's way of protecting itself; when something inexplicable or horrifying happens,

the mind tries to forget. It rejects that which it cannot accept.

That idea is shown very literally and the phenomenon of willfully forgetting is really played up

throughout the book. It's so precise and complete that it begins to feel like a kind of magic—

—like as soon as you physically leave Derry, you start to forget.

Its power comes from its ability to divide and isolate, which are side effects of fear.

Looking silly or sounding crazy are more powerful motivators than fear itself,

which is what persuades Its victims to keep these incidents secret of their own free will.

In that way, the victims do half the job of keeping Its existence a secret.

And when you don't know what exactly you're dealing with, you're more likely to be victimized.

You see this urge to rationalize away any bizarre or frightening incidents throughout the book,

and that's often why It gets the best of its victims.

There's also a great discussion about the nature of power. What is power? Who has power? How do you get power?

And there's a conversation about how power itself is a shape-shifter. It comes in different forms

depending on who you are and what you need. And these characters need to find a way

to harness it in their own way.

And lastly, in regard to power, the whole time I was reading this book,

I kept wondering to myself: Why this group of kids? What makes them so special and different?

I mean, this thing has been haunting Derry for as long as Derry's been around,

and surely Bill isn't the first person who's been enraged at the loss of a loved one.

If these kids can put their heads together and concoct a plan to exact revenge,

surely anyone else could have at any point.

But then it slowly came to me that what sets this group of kids apart is the fact that they TOLD.

They opened up about the things that had happened to them, the ways It had horrified and hurt them,

and they listened to each other and supported each other without fear of ridicule.

They literally broke the cycle of suffering and silence.

They told. They took what they went through and put it into words—

—and willingly offering up that information has power all its own.

So, overall, those were the moments and revelations that kept me going.

Those details showed me that the part of my intuition that told me there had to be *something* in this book

that had merit was actually on the mark.

Now if everything I just talked about had been the main focus of this story, if we had just left it there,

this would be a very different review!

There were those really well-written moments and those high-quality scares and creepy passages

that completely unhinge your sense of well-being. But the fact that those moments existed

eventually only made me *more* angry in the face of all this nonsense,

because what could have been a really impactful story was instead overrun by vitriolic garbage.

I think the best way to illustrate my frustration is to talk about the prologue, which is masterfully written

and does a great job of setting up the stakes and the atmosphere of the story with little to no nonsense.

There's a bit of potty humor and some basic-ass "boys-will-be-boys" type crap, but overall nothing too offensive.

It was the perfect start to the story.

And then the book began.

So one minute you see a glimpse of the potential, you see how it *could* be written,

but then the author just chooses NOT to go that route, like a majority of the time.

I feel like I just need to list all the unnecessary, internalized, unchallenged garbage in this book,

which is a HUGE task.

Let's see. There's racism, bigotry, homophobia. Subsequently, there's an astronomical usage of

racial and homophobic slurs. There's religious slurs, sexism, misogyny, graphic scenes of violence

and assault against women, oversexualization of children—namely in a child gangbang scene,

which I feel like you should know about upfront if you're gonna go into this.

There's fatphobia, fatphobic language, there is an unbelievable amount of bastardization

and fundamental disrespect when it comes to Native people, their beliefs, and their practices.

There is graphic detailing of animal cruelty, which was a pleasant surprise for me amongst all these joys.

The text also fails miserably in addressing mental illness in a way that's not gross.

It's so much, and it's so gratuitous. There's no better word. It is excessive, it is disgusting,

it adds absolutely nothing to the story, and it's just plain gratuitous.

And it also makes me mad because I know there so many apologists out there ready to jump in

and defend the story, because "It took place in the 50's and the 80's!" "It was written in a less progressive time."

"Stephen King was on cocaine when he wrote that!"

There even feels like there's an excuse built in to the worldbuilding, because people are gonna say

that since Pennywise is occupying Derry, he's spreading his influence with the power of suggestion.

His presence leeches out the "ugly, disturbing parts of people and brings out their worst,"

and somehow that's supposed to make it okay.

And in this 1200 page farce, King attempts to build in all these little moments

that alleviate him of all responsibility, which is fun.

There's the Pennywise excuse, and there's also a moment in the beginning where some random dude is commiserating

about that fact that the Derry Museum curators aren't on board with him displaying a tramp chair,

which is basically an old torture device used by police officers, primarily on Black citizens,

then this character comments on how *silly* it is when people

"willingly turn away from the negative things in the world."

It's this little pointed jab where you can see King convincing himself that, like, he's doing the Lord's work

and bravely showing people the ugly parts of the world they can't face on their own,

that he's willing to "go there" and be brutally honest even if means making people uncomfortable,

when A) no one asked him to in the first place,

and, more importantly, B) so many other writers can do that same thing brilliantly *without* being offensive

or producing trash.

He just puts disgusting shit out there without commenting on it or providing any kind of nuance.

And if you think back on the list I just went through,

pretty much all of it is shit that would never affect him in any way.

It's easy to use, and also defend the usage of, offensive language and moments,

especially when those words and moments will never, in any way, affect you or your ability to live your life.

King also has this other chapter, which is what one of my old professors would refer to as "mastubatory,"

which is not a word I wanted to use, but there is literally no better way to describe writing that benefits no one

but the author. It's something they write for their own pleasure, for themself.

Anyway, he goes through this whole section where Bill is in college and he's studying to be a writer,

he wants to write horror books. Everyone else in his cohort is super literary and uppity, and they're obsessed

with hidden meaning, and every time they read one of his horror stories and try to tell him how to build in more depth,

he just sort of laughs at them and declares that a story doesn't have to mean anything,

it doesn't to be taken so seriously, cuz it's just a story, bro!

It's this super pointless moment King sneaks in before the ball really gets rolling, where he kind of

throws up his hands and implies that a story is just an interesting plot, it's just things happening. Nothing more,

no implications or consequences or take-aways.

And I'm like "COOL STORY, BRO. Doesn't change the fact that you're using 1200 pages to spew disgusting nonsense."

Just because you or your readers won't hold you accountable

doesn't mean there's nothing to account for in the first place.

Y'all can come up with all the excuses and "reasoning" you want, but it doesn't change anything.

All you have to do is look at the 2017 film adaptation, one of the most successful, most highly rated

horror films in recent history, and if you think there's no correlation between its success and the fact

that it cut out, like, 99% of the garbage source material and cleverly avoided offensive or problematic language

and moments, then you're kidding yourself.

There's a reason why that production team stopped themselves and decided against subjecting audiences

to two hours of the N-word or the F-slur, and if you understand the part of yourself that stops you

from saying those words, for example, in full, then you KNOW what the problem is.

It's irresponsible. Plain and simple. Those words and those moments just sit on the page, and they're normalized

for 1200 pages—which, trust me, quickly begins to feel like a lifetime—and it's just exhausting.

It adds nothing. It doesn't progress the plot. It doesn't develop the characters. It's just useless nonsense

a basic, privileged white man knew he could get away with.

And, fine, you want to try and excuse the usage of slurs and all the innumerable gross moments in this book

—spoiler alert: you can't—but that's just barely the surface.

It's the way you're reading this story, just trying to take in what's happening,

and then without warning some bullshit creeps up and just ruins the entire moment.

It's the way the first person graphically killed on the page after the prologue is a queer character.

It's the way the only other potential queer character in the story is a raging psychopath who murdered a family member,

collects dead flies in a pencil case to show other kids, and slowly kills small animals for fun.

It's the way one of the main characters, Ben, is described as grotesquely fat with hideous, dehumanizing imagery,

and then it's later revealed in the story that when he at his heaviest, he was *less* than 200 pounds.

It's the way Eddie's mother is flippantly described as having a "schizophrenic" face.

What does that even MEAN?

It's the way Richie sees Bev after she's been beaten by her father, and *that's* the moment when he realizes

how beautiful she is and how gorgeous she looks with all the bruising and scars.

*That's* the first time he sees her as a person "worth looking at."

It's the way that before Bev is initiated into the group, all the boys feel a sense of ownership over her.

Before they even get to know her, they're silently agreeing on which one of them can have her,

and once that's been decided, there's no more discussion to be had. Her own input is not wanted.

It's the way that, as she watches the life drain out of a boy in front of her eyes, the narrative finds that moment

to be the best moment to describe her as "heartbreakingly beautiful," as if that's relevant.

It's the way she finally finds the courage to confide in Bill about how her father abused her and hurt her

and how that made her hate him, and instead of listening to her, all Bill can think about

is FUCKING her. Because he can't even prioritize focusing on her needs for two seconds.

It's the way that, as adults, the Losers Club are in the sewers, about to face It,

when all the boys find it to be the perfect time to verbally shame Bev

for marrying someone abusive like her father.

It's the way I have to read about Bev's nipples hardening every time she gets scared,

but I don't ever have to read about the boys' flaccid penises shriveling up.

It's the way a huge confrontation scene completely shifts tone because Bev's shirt had to rip open

to reveal her "bare, heaving breasts."

It's the way the narrative uses an extended, graphic metaphor to compare historical events in Derry

to raping someone, and how THAT goes on for a few lovely passages.

It's the way the first minor character who's implied to be Mexican is the person who runs the local dump

and who is brother to a "bachelor janitor" who works at the high school, because that's just the way things go!

It's the way the characters are described to be moving as silently as "thieving Indians"

or like "Indians out on a raiding party."

It's the way the first time Native people are mentioned in the story it's in relation to these "old, wise Indian people"

teaching Ben, a white man, some ancient ritual to help him ingest excessive amounts of alcohol without getting drunk,

because of course they'd know all about that.

It's the way the characters don't know how to go about taking down It, so they decide to build their own

bastardized version of a smoke house so that they can receive "a vision" about how to kill It,

because that's what the wise old Indians used to do and it's just "crazy enough" to work.

I'm just going to stop myself there, because I'm angry and I'm exhausted.

And those examples I just mentioned don't even *begin* to cover it. I didn't even get STARTED.

1200 pages of normalized bullshit like that, over and over and over again, with a healthy sprinkling of slurs

and words that are prefaced in the dictionary with "offensive."

All of that just BURIED any promise this book had.

Even if you took all that away—which I mean you CAN'T, and that would also mean just tossing

three quarters of this book in the trash where it belongs—the story was just...okay.

The build-up I appreciated. There was a good sense of sustained suspense throughout.

My curiosity about the history of Derry was definitely sated. In fact, I probably learned more than I actually NEEDED.

The whole coming-back-as-Adults thing was kind of underwhelming and lame, and the ending was a

dumpster fire mess grasping at straws that honeslty made little to no sense.

Honestly, if you belong to a group that's marginalized in any way, just take a hard pass on this one,

because it's not worth it!

are people out there who are gonna shrug and say "Well some people use those words."

"Some people talk like that, think like that, do those things, so just get over it." But again,

it's easy to dismiss that which has no impact on your life.

And the fact of the matter is that these ideas have very real consequences in real life,

and they're still impacting people's ability to live their lives to this day.

Each time I had to read those words and that nonsense, something inside me broke.

As a human, I don't know how you can read garbage like this and make peace with it.

As a reader, I certainly don't know how you make peace with it.

As a reviewer, I'm not going to stand for it.

So yeah, this was a long struggle with very little payoff. I recommend it to no one.

Stick with the film adaptations, which will save you from most of the nonsense.

I mean, looking back on the 2017 adaptation, the only thing taken almost word for word from the book

was the opening scene, the Prologue. Besides the concept itself, everything else was different!

And that's NOT a mistake. That is NOT a coincidence.

It's almost impossible to do a 1200 page book justice in one video,

but hopefully this review shed some light on why NOBODY in my lifetime

is EVER going to convince me to read another Stephen King book ever again.

If you have responses to any of the thoughts I shared here today, please feel free to share them in the comments

below. If you're gonna try to hit me with some apologist/mansplaining/devil's advocate bullcrap,

I think it's cute that *you* think you're gonna get a response.

[whispers] Because you're not!

That's all I got for today. I give up. Thank you so much for watching this video.

I really hope that you enjoyed it, because I mostly did not. And I will catch YOU on the flip-side of the page.

Bye!

Mark Lawrenson states his prediction for Liverpool FC v West Brom ● News Now - transfer ● #LFC - Duration: 2:16.

The Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson is backing Liverpool FC to ease to a 2-0 win against

West Brom at Anfield on Wednesday night.

The Reds squandered a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 with Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield

on Sunday after Wayne Rooney's controversial penalty cancelled out Mohamed Salah's brilliant

opener.

Liverpool FC missed out on the chance to hoist themselves above Chelsea and into third place

after Dejan Lovren's challenge on Dominic Calvert-Lewin led to Rooney's leveller.

The 18-time English champions are still unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games to

build some momentum over the past two months or so following a tough spell in September

and October.

Liverpool FC will have the chance to bounce back with three points against Alan Pardew's

West Brom side at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Former Reds defender Lawrenson is backing Klopp's men to ease to a comfortable win

against West Brom at Old Trafford.

"It goes without saying that losing to Swansea is a poor result for anyone at the moment,

and that was a setback for new West Brom boss Alan Pardew in his second game in charge,"

Lawrenson told BBC Sport.

"He needs to get his first win soon, but I don't see the Baggies getting it at Anfield,

especially because I imagine that the players Klopp rested on Sunday will start this game."

Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a

return to the Champions League.

Klopp signed four players in the summer transfer window ahead of their return to Europe's

premier club competition.

The Merseyside outfit lost to Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur this term.

Oh my god, there's so much food guys..

I don't know how we're gonna eat all of this..

I'm so happy, I'm not gonna do all the dishes..

We'll let someone else do that..

Simple Syrup For Cakes - Duration: 2:06.

So today I'm going to show you how I make simple syrup. Now I don't normally

use simple syrup actually, but I do get a lot of questions about it and I am going

to use it today, because I have a vanilla cake and the vanilla cake is... the client

wants vanilla and vanilla. And to me that is extremely boring. So I'm going to make

it vanilla syrup, and I'm going to use that on the cake to give it more flavor.

Not so much moisture, because my cakes are very moist. And in case you're

wondering about my recipes, they're in this book right here. So you can get this

on Amazon it's called wedding cakes with Lorelie Step-by-Step and it's got all my

best recipes. So what I'm gonna do is take you through the recipe, which is

super easy, and then show you how to put it on the cake.

This recipe is one part sugar to one part water. Pour the water and the sugar into a sturdy pot over

medium to high heat. Bring it to a boil and let it boil for five minutes, then

cool it down to room temperature. Slice your cake in half. Brush the syrup onto

your cake and then add your filling. Continue that process for each layer. Now

I've seen cake decorators who soak the cakes and if you do that just be careful

not to overdo it or the cakes may get soggy.

You can also use a squeeze bottle to apply your syrup and you can flavor your

syrup with the liqueur extracts or fruit juice.

and that's it. it's a super simple recipe and I hope you enjoyed my video. stay

tuned because every week I'm gonna be uploading a new video and also bonus

videos like the one that you're watching right now. see you soon :-)

ANOTHER DIRECTOR FOR LOCKHEED SKUNKWORKS MENTIONS A CRAFT WITH A - Duration: 7:10.

ANOTHER DIRECTOR FOR LOCKHEED SKUNKWORKS MENTIONS A CRAFT WITH A DRIVE THAT ALTERS SPACE & TIME

BY ARJUN WALIADECEMBER

Lockheed Martin is a military contractor that manufactures advanced aircraft and propulsion

systems.

Theyre known for building some of the most advanced technologies known to man, and for

years, all of the engineering, science, and technology, for the most part, has been locked

up in Black Budget programs that have absolutely no oversight from Congress.

This is according to a 1997 U.S Senate report.

This means that nobody, not even those who have high level positions within the

military, political, and intelligence communities, knows exactly whats going on.

Many of these programs are completely unacknowledged, and the United States has had a history of

government agencies existing in secret for years.

While the National Security Agency (NSA) was founded in 1952, its existence was hidden

until the mid 1960s.

Even more secretive is the National Reconnaissance Office, which was founded in 1960 but remained

completely secret for 30 years, along with all of the technology it was using.

You can read a more in-depth article on the Black Budget here.

The same type of secrecy surrounds our space program, and whats now known as The Secret

Space program.

Who knows whats really going on up there.

It is ironic that the U.S. would begin a devastating war, allegedly in search of

weapons of mass destruction, when the most worrisome developments in this field are occurring

in your own backyard.

It is ironic that the U.S. should be fighting monstrously expensive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan,

allegedly to bring democracy to those countries, when it itself can no longer claim to be called

a democracy, when trillions, and I mean thousands of billions of dollars have been spent on

projects about which both the Congress and the Commander in Chief have been kept deliberately

in the dark.

Former Canadian Defence Minister Paul Hellyer

This is why when Steve Justice, the recently retired Director of Advanced Systems at Lockheed

Skunkworks, signed on board with To The Stars Academy, it raised some eyebrows.

To The Stars is an initiative to let the public know that Unidentified Flying Objects are

real, and they commonly perform maneuvers that defy our known laws of physics.

Its goal, one out of many, is to bring forth these technologies that have been locked

up in the black budget world in order to help humanity thrive.

They will be working directly with the U.S. government to release video footage, documents,

and more.

Now, what does this all mean?

What are the intentions?

Who is providing these people with information, and who is providing the U.S. government with

information?

Those are completely different topics, but it would be sensible to exercise caution,

as its not uncommon for Western governments, corporations, and media to deceive us, to

twist stories for their own personal gain.

This is also a possibility with regards to the UFO phenomenon.

So, what did Mr. Justice have to say?

Well, a lot of things.

One of the first statements he made using the To The Stars platform is that, when it

comes to the technologies hes been around, worked with, and seen, it would be an understatement

to call them revolutionary.

He also stated, while discussing the concept for the craft that To The Stars plans to build,

the following:

This is a concept for an international point-to-point transportation craft that will erase the current

travel limits of distance and time.

It mimics the capabilities observed in unidentified aerial phenomenon by employing a driver system

that alters space-time metric.

We have glimpses of how the physics of this works, but we need to harvest technologies

from the Science Division to realize the capability.

By making this statement, he is telling the world that Unidentified Flying Objects (which

are commonly tracked on military radar) utilize a device that somehow combats the problem

of distance and time, making it easy for them to travel what we humans perceive as great

and impossible distances in a short period of time.

There is another way, whether its wormholes, or warping space, theres got to be a way

to generate energy so that you can pull it out of the vacuum, and the fact that theyre

[extraterrestrials] here shows us that they found a way. (source) Jack Kasher,

Ph.D, Professor Emeritus of Physics, University of Nebraska.

Another representative, Chris Mellon (CIA), commented: To the Stars represents an opportunity

to reach beyond the normal boundaries of Aerospace to create products that we can call them revolutionary

and thats too mild of a word.

Louis Elizondo, who recently retired from the Pentagon, ran a sensitive aerospace

threat identification program focusing on unidentified aerial technologies where

he learned that, as he mentions in the video below at approximately the 20 minute 50 second

mark, the phenomenon is indeed real.

You can watch the livestream of all these individuals speaking here.

These are the latest public disclosures dealing with the topic, but for the past few years,

hundreds of such people have come forward to speak publicly about the phenomenon.

What makes the comments of Steve Justice so interesting is that one of his predecessors,

Ben Rich, has also been rumoured to make the following remark:

We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked

up in black projects, and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit

humanity.

Anything you can imagine, we already know how to do it.

. . . We now have technology to take ET home.

No it wont take someones lifetime to do it.

there is an error in the equations.

When Rich was asked how UFO propulsion worked, he said, Let me ask you.

How does ESP work? The questioner responded with, All points in time and space are

connected? Rich then said, Thats how it works! (This seems to be related

to quantum entanglement, which you can read more about here.)

Whats the source for these quotes?

There are multiple sources; to access them and read more about Ben Rich, you can read

this story we put out on him a couple of years ago.

Quade Cooper in line for shock transfer to ambitious Welsh outfit the Dragons - Duration: 2:23.

Quade Cooper in line for shock transfer to ambitious Welsh outfit the Dragons

The Australian superstar has been told he is surplus to requirements at Queensland Reds and the Dragons are looking to make him their second marquee signing after landing Lions back-row Ross Moriarty.

Head coach Bernard Jackman is also in the market for Wales star George North, who recently announced he would be returning back over the Severn Bridge on a National Dual Contract.

North will decide on his destination early in the new year, but it is understood the Dragons would only be able to recruit one of either Cooper or the Northampton wing.

Jackman wants up to 12 new players for next season and said: "It's a chance to build something really exciting.

GETTY.

"Thankfully there are a lot of people interested in this sort of project.

We are well on track for next season and our recruitment is going to be really impressive."   Cooper has 70 caps for Australia and remains one of rugby's biggest global stars.

Despite their interest in the former Toulon ace, the WRU-owned Dragons face stiff competition from a number of English, French and Japanese suitors for him.

The Dragons yesterday also confirmed the signing of Bristol back Jordan Williams for the start of next season on a two-year deal.

Ask Admissions: What do you look for in an admissions video? - Duration: 1:12.

Hi, I'm Vanessa, Director of Admissions here at NYU Wagner.

And I'm David, Assistant Director of Admissions here at NYU Wagner.

And we're here to talk about the optional video essay.

Just so everyone knows what the prompt is asking for

is a 60-second video in which you describe

the unique contribution you can make to the Wagner community.

And it's important for you to remember that we're really interested in hearing from you in your own voice.

It's really a great chance for you to tell us about yourself,

to let us know about your interest in public service,

and your interest in NYU Wagner in a way that's different from your essay.

And it should really be public service related—while you may be a karaoke star,

we can wait until the talent show to learn about that.

That's true, and it does not have to be creative—a simple web cam video or phone video is fine.

And important to note that you should try to do it in a quiet place.

It's very hard to hear you when you're doing it on a subway platform.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Kate Middleton Summoned To Balmoral Queen Elizabeth Chastises Duchess For Commoner Behavior Durin - Duration: 1:51.

Kate Middleton summoned to Balmoral Queen Elizabeth chastised as Duchess for common or behavior during royal visits

Kate Middleton and Prince William will probably wind up their summer in Scotland spending time at Balmoral with Prince George and Princess Charlotte

Queen Elizabeth is enjoying the last days of the summer with the royal family gathered around is

Queen Elizabeth using the family summer holiday at Balmoral as an opportunity to chastise Kate for the commoner behavior displayed during the

Cambridge s. Recent official royal visits an

etiquette expert publicly criticised the couple less childish and commoner antics during the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

s recent trip to Cornwall in the Isles of Scilly

This most likely did not sit well with Queen Elizabeth who expects the Royals young and old to behave appropriately

during official functions

Prince William and Kate Middleton are trying too hard to carry on the example set by

Princess Diana who broke down the fight of the stuffy entitled royal mentality

Would Diana be embarrassed or proud of her son and daughter-in-law for their attempts at approachability?

Unfortunately Kate and William haven t been able to achieve Diana as truly caring nature

Kate often looks bored at events for charities

Which she champions the same could be said about Prince William who often seems socially awkward when speaking with everyday

working-class men and women and their families

Kate and William certainly can be sincere warm and caring toward their future royal subjects

But the Cambridge us have been unbelievably rude and snobbish lately

Camilla parker-bowles has been on her best behavior for months now while Kate Middleton has received nothing but

Criticism from Kate s clothes to her hair to her lazy

Work-shy ways the Duchess of Cambridge is a royal disaster Prince Charles has been toiling away fulfilling his royal

responsibilities and making his gardens at Highgrove child-friendly for Prince George

Star Wars legend Mark Hamill thanks fans for helping him deal with Carrie Fisher's tragic death

Mark Hamill thanks fans for helping him get through Carrie Fishers death.

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill says fans of the franchise have helped him cope with the death ofCarrie Fisher.

The star has thanked his fans for helping him come to terms with the loss of his one-of-a-kind co-star.

The pair - who played brother and sister duo Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa in the original 1970s and 1980s trilogy - reprised their characters in latest instalment Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Fisher died at the age of 60 last December after already beginning filming.

Mark Hamill at The Last Jedi premiere with his wife Marilou Yorkand daughter Chelsea Hamill .

Mark and Carrie as Luke and Leia .

Speaking almost a year later at the films European premiere at Londons Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, Hamill told presenter Edith Bowman: Well never replace her and its comforting because, even though its hard and I dont know that Ive come to terms with this yet, youre all helping me get through it because, if you didnt know her personally, she felt like family.

So, everywhere I go people are helping me deal with it.

I shouldnt be upset shes not around, I should be grateful for all the time I had with her.

She was hilarious, adorable, as tough as she acted she had a vulnerability; I criticised her all the time but if anyone else did Id get my back up and say Dont you do that.

She was so much fun.

Youre going to love her tonight, shes great in the film..

  The pair alongside Harrison Ford.

A number of key cast members also shared their fond memories of Fisher and praised her impact on the Star Wars legacy.

John Boyega, who plays Finn in Rian Johnsons sequel - marking the 40th anniversary of the series - said: Family, I think thats the biggest thing, especially in terms of our late, great Carrie Fisher.

Its coming up to a year [since her death] and its strange to see how it goes.

Im in something that will last a lifetime.

I will pass away, everyone will, its crazy to see the fans will always appreciate what youve done..

Gwendoline Christie, who portrays chilling Captain Phasma, said: [Star Wars] has been woven into my life since I was six years old and I first saw a Star Wars movie.

I loved Princess Leia, I truly did.

I remember thinking, shes not like the other women I see in my films, shes really smart, shes really bold.

They remained close pals .

Mark with co-star Daisy Ridley .

Laura Dern said this amazing thing about Carrie Fisher; she said she lived without shame and she is a bold woman that really showed us how to live.

Dern, who also braved the bracing December air on the red carpet to mark her role as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, added: Carrie Fisher [gave] us the greatest gift of Princess Leia and to be able to have all of these other amazing women and to feel like now a tribe has been built of powerful, complicated, diverse, irreverent, deep female characters is just gorgeous.

Veteran C-3PO star Anthony Daniels said he had sweet memories of her royal highness while Domhnall Gleeson said she would be missed and that the latest film provided an amazing tribute to her talent.

Solution For PRRS - Duration: 1:36.

the way our tournament is that we've essentially ended a disease this is the

first time in the history of this disease that we have prevented the

infection of an animal and this is really I think the tremendous impact

that that research has had on the industry each year about 600 million

dollars in losses to the pork industry much of that you can attribute to the

reproductive form of the disease and so we see this disease in two forms we see

it as a respiratory disease in young pigs that affect carries on through

finish and then we also see a reproductive form and that gives its its

name porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus and so in

terms of what we did as we described in previous publications is the use of a

genetically modified pig in this case a pig that has been genome edited to

remove an important molecule called C D 163 and what we found is that if you

take this c d 163 knockout dam you've actually protected the fetuses from the

disease fetuses cannot become infected if the

dam is C D 163 negative if you remove C D 163 from the pig it does not get purrs

this is the end of a disease that has been devastating to the industry
