Mali is the country in West of Africa. And I think there is an interesting situation

for those who love the languages.

depending on geographic situation.

Also we have different ethnic groups

so each group has her own language and the culture.

So...

The Bambara language has recently...not really... a long time ago

became almost independent dialect.

Almost all ethnic groups communicate on this language.

Thus the official language is french.

Everything like official documents is made in french.

However I would say that Bambara became more mature

and recently we obsrved the development of language literacy

so voila! From now it represented by letters and symboles

that are unique.

We can find them only while speaking Bambara. So...

I am Sonrai, coming from Tombouctou. It is well-known because

that is the city of 333 saints, so it is the world cultural

herritage. - Yes, that's really well-known

thare is the phrase in English -

"Have you been to Tombouctou? - It means to go far far away!

- Ok! Cool..In Bambara we say "Hello"

as "aw ni sògòma".

Sorry?

- Aw - ni - sògòma
