our stories: Why Canada is a haven for talent - Duration: 2:12.

I think entrepreneurial success is entrepreneurial success.

I think what I would say about Canadian entrepreneurs is

we've had some great examples with companies like Shopify

and Hootsuite.

I think to the extent Canada continues

to cultivate those types of examples, obviously,

it does great things not just for kind of today's ecosystem,

but inspiring a whole next generation of entrepreneurs.

The other thing I think is the development

of educational sort of private sector partnerships,

like what you see going on at Waterloo.

It's both creating a whole class of engineers and computer

scientists who want to go off and solve tough problems.

But often, the origin for those ideas

may come while they're studying, and the university

takes an active role in promoting the ability of people

to go off and start companies.

And in the case of Stanford, obviously,

has also taken equity participation.

So I think Canada's poised for many reasons.

Number one, politically, geopolitically, as you know,

it's both stable.

It attracts really smart and talented people.

When you juxtapose that against the populism that's

going around the world, including in the US,

Canada can be a haven to draw even more talent.

I mean, I was thinking about Canada's immigration system.

And it's the basis by which my parents immigrated.

And it's just always been kind of a place

where talented people can go and find an open place to both be

themselves culturally, and have a great education.

So I think the Canadian ecosystem lends itself

to attracting great talent.

And I think, ultimately, tech is nothing but a gigantic talent

ecosystem that's using tools to create more leverage.

I think it needs more support for entrepreneurship

from venture capital, governmental support

of the types of policies that encourage entrepreneurship,

whether it's better capital gains, or what have you.

But I think with that, the ingredients are all there.

NFL Is Failing, Record Low Ticket Sales May Doom Organization | Top Stories Today - Duration: 2:47.

NFL Is Failing, Record Low Ticket Sales May Doom Organization.

There aren't many things you can purchase these days for only $2.

You can't even buy a gallon of gas for $2.

One thing you can buy with $2, though, is an NFL ticket.

Well, at least on Sunday you could.

In a match-up between the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts, Vivid Seats was selling

tickets for as low as $2.

Even the really good seats near the 50-yard line were going for $29.

Granted, there was a snow storm that day in Buffalo, but that game wasn't the only one

selling tickets for extremely low prices.

Tickets for the Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers game were going for as low as $7

In contrast, New York Upstate reported that in the same area as the Bills game, a college

hockey team had tickets for $28.

Ouch.

That hurts.

It should be noted that not all teams are suffering from those extremely low ticket

sales, but overall, ticket prices aren't what they used to be.

When Colin Kaepernick started his protests by kneeling during the National Anthem, he

probably never expected the negative impact that his decision would have on the NFL.

The NFL never really learned its lesson, though.

In fact, earlier this year, players doubled down on their protests and continued kneeling

despite pressure from fans to stop.

Fans responded in force by turning the TV off, and they also stopped going to the games.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell needs to learn the basic economic principle of supply and

demand.

Provide a product that people actually want to see, then your prices will skyrocket due

to demand.

Tick your fan base off, and ticket sales will plummet due to the lack of demand.

You know things are bad for the NFL when tickets for the game are cheaper than a hot dog and

drink at the stadium.

Goodell doesn't have the backbone to deal with the protesters, though.

In fact, it was even suggested by some owners that players should just stay in the locker

room during the National Anthem next year.

Yeah, that's a great idea.

Instead of dealing with the problem, let's just try and hide the players.

It takes leadership to run the NFL, Mr. Goodell.

Leadership requires that you make the right decision even when it's unpopular.

It's time to deal with these protesters once and for all.

Require them to stand for the anthem and watch those ticket prices jump back up to normal

levels.

If not, I'll send you a bottle of ibuprofen (which is something else you can't buy for

$2).

You can expect more economic headaches in the future.

Game Of Thrones: Is this beloved character returning to reunite with Jon Snow? - Duration: 3:02.

Game Of Thrones: Is this beloved character returning to reunite with Jon Snow?

But one loss to Game Of Thrones has especially hit fans hard, as Jon Snows beloved dire wolf Ghost didnt make the cut for the last season.

Writer and producer Bryan Cogman tweeted earlier this year: FYI.

We shot a Jon/Ghost scene, didnt make it in.

I tried! Thx for watching everybody. Director Miguel Sapochnik also revealed that Ghost was originally intended to be in Battle of the Bastards but it was scrapped due to cost.

He said: [Ghost] was in [the Battle of the Bastards] in spades originally, but its also an incredibly time consuming and expensive character to bring to life.

Ultimately, we had to choose between Wun-Wun and the direwolf, so the dog bit the dust. But one fan is so desperate to see the creature make a comeback that they have started a GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds for CGI.

They posted: Raising money for cgi so that ghost features in season 8 of GOT, the page says.

Please help Jon reunite with his beloved direwolf.

Also, no-one tell Jon, he knows nothing.

Want it to be a surprise hell never forget. Unfortunately for the enthusiastic fan, their campaign has had no donations, meaning a return for Ghost is looking unlikely.

Will fans never get to see the beloved character again? It looks like HBO may have to raise the money themselves, but with a reported budget of £11 million per episode in season 8, that shouldnt be a problem.

Season 8 returns to HBO in 2019.

New Fiesta Print - Summer is here! - Duration: 1:58.

- So, today we're talking Fiesta.

This is our new print and this is Layla.

So, we released Layla in the cobalt

and now we've got Layla in the split option.

We've got the black top with the Fiesta bottom.

So, like all our full volume dresses,

she's got the lining underneath,

which is great for when you're twirling.

Honestly, the last thing you want to think

about when you're twirling is whether

or not everything's showing.

So, I've got Layla on with the blue belt.

I love a belt.

And, for me, because I'm on the petite side,

I just feel like it balances me out a little bit.

And Layla is, of course, one of our reversible styles.

So, you can wear her with the v-neck

or choose to have the boat neck.

So, we've also got lovely Tracy, dress whisperer.

And so Tracy's in Zoe.

- Yes.

- So, you're a bit excited about Zoe.

- I'm very excited about Zoe.

If you love Xanthe, you're gonna love Zoe.

Same bodice at the top except Zoe's

got a little bit of a shorter skirt,

which is great for the season.

And we've still got the pockets

and we have a beautiful self-tie that you can wear it with.

- Yeah, and we kept Zoe.

So, Zoe is actually...

This is where you can get your

head around all the components.

Zoe is actually the same skirt

as Monique but with a pocket.

So, you can wear it, obviously,

it comes with the self-tie belt, as well.

But, if you take that off...

Yeah.

And then you can literally swap this over

and wear that with the blue, as well.

So, this is our really fun Fiesta print.

Both with the black bodices.

And Zoe comes with the self-tie, as well.
