If you've ever watched a YouTube video I'm sure you've seen this mini ad.
It's called featured content, it's been around for years but it's now time to say goodbye.
On the 14th December featured video and playlists will, to quote YouTube, 'be going away'.
The reason this decision has been made is because YouTube say viewers are 20 times more
likely to close these promotions than click them.
This tool has been part of the channel tab under featured content in the YouTube creator
studio, and it's unclear right now whether the channel ad tool will remain.
You may have also noticed that we have now removed the shortcut to this page from our

Is Nike More Successful Than Adidas? Shoe / Apparel Company Comparison - Duration: 6:45.
You won't get far on any given day in most cities in the world without seeing Nike's
famous swoosh or Adidas' three stripes.
More than just sporting brands, the footwear and clothes of these companies have become
fashion statements.
The two brands are the biggest of their kind, although sporting goods newbie Under Armour
has threatened to take the number two spot - in the U.S. at least.
But on a global scale, Under Armour can't compete just yet with these two behemoths.
Right now the focus of the leading two brands is China's 415 million millennials.
Maybe we'll have a better idea of who will take over China after today's episode of
the Infographics Show, Nike vs Adidas.
Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our
Notification Squad.
Let's first have a look at how these companies got off the ground.
Nike is an incredible success story, given that before it appeared on the scene, Adidas
and Puma owned the market.
Nike changed that pretty quickly.
The company was founded on January 25, 1964, when businessman Phil Knight and track coach/running
shoe enthusiast Bill Bowerman got together to build the perfect and affordable athletics
shoe.
Prior to its independence, Nike, then called Blue Ribbon Sports, operated under Japanese
sporting goods firm, Tiger, which is now known as ASICS.
In 1966, BRS opened its first store, and in 1971 it changed its name to Nike and also
created the swoosh most everybody knows of today.
That swoosh cost Nike 35 bucks to design, and was created by a Portland State University
graphic design student.
Nike took off as fast as its runners, and by 1980 it had half of the U.S. athletic shoe
market.
In the late 80s and 90s, Nike began its global dominance, and its products are now available
in virtually every country in the world.
In undeveloped nations, if you don't see a Nike store, you will still find people wearing
the products.
Adidas starts as a family story.
The founder, Adolf Dassler, began making shoes in his mother's kitchen.
At the same time, his brother Rudolphe was working with their father at a footwear factory.
Later, the brothers started working together.
At the 1936 Olympics in Germany, young Adolf Dassler made a great move by finding American
sprinter Jesse Owens and convincing him to wear the spiked shoes he had made.
Owens won four golds and Adolf and his brother almost immediately became famous all over
the world.
By 1939, the two brothers were producing and selling around 200,000 pairs of shoes a year.
At the time, the shoes were simply products of the Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory.
That would soon change.
In 1947, the brothers split on not very good terms.
Adolf Dassler named his company Adi-Das and his bother Rudolphe Dassler started a company
called Ruda, which later became Puma – a household name today.
Now let's look at some numbers.
Nike, named after the Greek Goddess of Victory, lives up to its name.
It's currently on Forbes' list as the biggest sporting goods company in the world.
Forbes put the value of Nike at $27 billion for the year 2016.
Adidas is in third place, according to Forbes, and second place is ESPN.
So, in terms of clothing and footwear, Adidas is really second.
Although its value is far behind Nike, at just $7 billion.
Under Armor comes behind Adidas with a worth of $5.5 billion, and Reebok (which is actually
owned by Adidas), comes way behind again with a value of $800 million.
According to Nike's manufacturing map, its products are made in 42 countries.
It has 566 factories and employs a little over 1 million people (1,015,696 people).
We must say here that Nike is well known for having factories in developing nations, sometimes
paying its workers low wages in not too great conditions.
Nike has made attempts to clean up its image, but according to critics, it hasn't done
enough.
Only this year, people all over the world, in cities such as Boston, Washington D.C.,
Bangalore, and San Pedro Sula in Honduras, protested in the street over Nike's sweatshops.
Nike needs a lot of workers, given that research says that the company sells 25 pairs of sneakers
every second of every day.
Altogether, Business Insider wrote in 2016 that Nike sold 900 million products in one
year.
That included everything under the Nike brand name.
According to Statistica, Adidas employs just over 60,000 people worldwide.
It actually has more factories than Nike does, with 1,000 independent factories in 60 countries,
according to its own website.
It too has come under scrutiny for the working conditions in the factories that are mostly
in developing nations, but Adidas has also been praised for its transparency.
Recent stories suggest that jobs are coming back to Germany as Adidas improves its highly
advanced factory there where robots do much of the work.
Adidas sells around 250 million pairs of shoes a year.
This also include soccer shoes, or boots.
We cannot find any sources for the total number of Adidas products sold.
As for sneakers, Yahoo Finance says Adidas is making some distance in catching up to
Nike.
Its market share went up from 6.3 percent in 2016 to 11.3 percent in 2017.
Nike's went down from 35.9 percent to 34.7 percent.
Yahoo points out, "The biggest reason Adidas is on the rise is because of an industry trend
that benefits the brand: casual sportswear."
Apparently, Adidas is just cooler leisurewear, while Nike stays sports focused.
According to some media, Kanye West's partnership with Adidas has helped the company a lot.
According to a 2016 story by Quartz, Adidas also dominates the retro scene.
In 2016, its Adidas Superstar was the top selling sneaker in the U.S., but look at the
rest of the list and Nike dominates the lower positions.
In 2017, it looks as though Nike's Tanjun sneaker is going to take the number one spot,
but we still have some time to go.
As for each company's diamond product in terms of sales and popularity, it seems for
Adidas that's its Stan Smith sneakers, first designed in 1973, and a shoe that just never
goes out of fashion.
For Nike, its various Nike Air shoes have been a big seller for a long time, although
we can't get an exact number of pairs sold throughout all iterations.
Adidas made the headlines this year when it was reported that finally it had knocked Nike
Air Jordan's from the number one spot, thanks in part to some strong endorsements.
When most websites talk about the world's most important sneaker of all time, they are
usually referring to America.
The word sneaker is primarily American and most websites that write on this topic are
American.
This does make some sense as the U.S. is the world's biggest sporting goods market.
Time magazine created a list of the most important sneakers of all time.
This included Nike Air Jordan, Nike Air Max, Nike Cortez, Adidas Superstars, and Adidas
Stan Smith.
Unfortunately, there is no definitive list of the best-selling sports shoes of all time.
We'll let you debate what the best sneaker of all time is and perhaps you can come to
an agreement.

Look Who Just PAID OFF The Women ACCUSING TRUMP Of Groping Them – This Is SICK! - Duration: 4:56.
Look Who Just PAID OFF The Women ACCUSING TRUMP Of Groping Them – This Is SICK!
The only thing that could shut down the nauseating Russia collusion chatter from Democrats is
to flip the script on their own perverted party problems and accuse President Donald
Trump of being a groper.
In a matter of just a couple of days, the country has forgotten all about the sexual
misconduct allegations plaguing liberals and is hyperfocused on Trump allegedly being inappropriate.
The attention switch is no coincidence either.
All it took was a few obscure women to come out of the woodwork together with some well-crafted
harrowing tales of feeling violated by the Commander-in-Chief.
It also wasn't a trending hashtag that made them feel "brave" enough to share their
stories, it was a heaping pile of cash.
However, you'll be shocked who was behind that profitable set-up in paying them all
off.
Democrats aren't even good at their own game.
In setting up the president to look like a pervert, they picked they couldn't even
pick believable accusers.
Victims come in all shapes, sizes, and aesthetics.
However, it's really hard to actually buy into the fact that billionaire Trump, who
has constantly been surrounded around beautiful women all of his adult life, would grope,
grab, or touch the less than appealing women who are accusing him now of such things.
That's for starters, but adding to this curiosity is the timing of these allegations
coming in the midst of so many sexual misconduct controversies among liberal men.
The fake outrage and seemingly false allegations has reached such a level of absolute ridiculousness,
that Trump's latest accuser was said to have a witness who also happened to be blind.
That's right, the one person who saw Trump grope another woman, can't actually see.
The Daily Mail reports:
Another woman from Donald Trump's past came forward on Tuesday to reassert her allegations
that the former real estate mogul sexually assaulted her.
Mindy McGillivray told Megyn Kelly 'Today' that Trump grabbed her 'caboose' in front
of Ray Charles at a 2003 concert at Mar-a-Lago and flirted with her on another occasion,
upsetting, Melania.
McGillivray, was 23 at the time, says she was backstage with Trump, her friend Ken Davidoff
and Regis Philbin and his wife as Ray Charles stood in front of them with his security guard.
"And the next thing you know, I feel a grab on my right side.
So I quickly turn to look at what this is.
I initially think this is probably Ken, Ken's camera bag.
But to my surprise it's Donald."
"I stand there.
I'm stunned.
I'm speechless," she said.
In the interview with Kelly, McGillivray was adamant that she is not 'a liar,' regardless
of what Trump says, and admitted to felonies she committed and was held accountable for
in the past.
What's really sad about all of these accusers is that they are actually discrediting the
real suffering that actual victims have and do endure by making up and/or exaggerating
their allegations that may or may not have happened.
Worse yet, they are doing it for money and where there is a scandal aimed at Trump to
manipulate things to the benefit of Democrats, it always comes back to one bank account.
According to the Daily Wire:
A far-left activist group funded by George Soros is readying the women who accused President
Donald Trump of sexual misconduct to demand a congressional investigation.
The women had made their accusations just before the November 2016 election.
The women will speak on Monday at 10:30 a.m. ET to call for "accountability and an investigation
by Congress of sexual misconduct."
They had accused Trump of "groping, fondling, forcibly kissing, humiliating and harassing
women."The group behind this obvious new attempt to force Trump out of the White House,
Brave New Films, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that claims to be "non-partisan"
— a claim that becomes laughable upon a review of their donors and partners which
include left-wing hit groups like Media Matters For America and Democracy For America.
Brave New Films claims that they do not "expressly advocate for the election or defeat of candidates
for public office," a statement that is not even remotely accurate looking at just
some of the propaganda-style videos they created, including:
– Stand Up, Senate!
The President-elect is a hypocrite.
– Protect Public Education – Stop Betsy DeVos!
– Indivisible: A Practical Guide For Resisting The Trump Agenda
– GETTING DONALD TRUMP OFF NBC'S SNL

The Light Body Is Forming Through The Heart, Activated Through - Duration: 8:16.
The Light Body Is Forming Through The Heart, Activated Through The Emergence Of The Divine
Feminine
by Diane Canfield
Beloved Tribe,
At this time of high acceleration the light body has also accelerated in its transformation
from the HUman Body.
The light body forms through the sacred heart.
The beginning phase of the light body formation starts with the opening of the Heart chakra.
As it opens it then works to open even wider to let more LOVE in which then builds up to
allow more LIGHT to develop inside of it.
As more light permeates the Divine Heart, more compassion for all sentient beings develops
and takes hold.
This can also be referred to as activation of the Divine Feminine.
The Divine feminine exists in all beings.
The Divine Feminines main function is through the Heart and Heart chakra.
The opening of this energy center provides more love, compassion and connection with
all things to take place.
This is the connection of Source, through Creation.
As the Divine Feminine is the Divine Consciousness that creates and maintains life.
Through this sacred connection lies the connection to the Entire Universe and all of Reality.
My own heart chakra was fully activated in 2012 on 12/12 through a Psychic Clairvoyant
experience.
As I was sitting on my couch in the living room of my house I noticed a white flash coming
in through the window.
This white flash then turned into a white dagger piercing my heart center to fully open
it up.
As it struck me I had incredible pain and slumped to the side for a few minutes.
I was trying to compose myself to tune into what had just happened.
After a short time the pain was gone and I felt refreshed and more energized.
I was told by my team in the higher realms, this was the Divine Source dagger opening
up my heart chakra fully to be able to teach about Ascension and the Ascension process.
All of my experiences are very dramatic through Psychic Clairvoyance.
This is how I chose to experience this lifetime.
High heart pain has been a common ascension symptom and an uncomfortable feeling.
This is an indication of the Heart expanding to bring in more love and light and to start
the Light body transformation process through the opening of the heart chakra.
Chakra Openings Each chakra in the body has to expand and
fully open in the Ascension process.
You may feel pain and vibrations as the chakras open to allow more love and the light body
to reconfigure the DNA of each energy center.
When the vibrations start they can and do go on for days as the chakras are beginning
their activation cycle.
I experienced these vibrating chakrasback in 2011 through 2013.
As each chakra would open I would feel the vibrating sensation that would last for weeks
and months at a time.
It may not happen this way for everyone, again I always experience things more dramatically
and eventfully.
It will depend on their level of Truth and where they are in their development in the
Ascension Process how they experience the chakra activations, but each chakra must be
fully open for the light body to build.
Look for activations within the chakra centers to open during times of high energy.
( Vibrations in every chakra is an advanced symptom, which means your light body is transforming)
As each chakra opens, the Heart chakra expands even more, allowing in even more light and
love.
All systems are connected to the Heart Chakra as this is the foundation of the light body
formation.
Higher Realm Activations have come in recently to continue to build the light body.
When you feel these you will be uplifted into the higher states of Bliss.
For those that experience bliss this is the feeling of the 5D through 12D states of existence. The
feeling is a complete oneness with the Divine Source.
These times of experiencing this bliss is happening more frequently now than ever.
If you have not felt it, work on keeping your vibration high at all times.
Do not listen to the news, do not get involved in politics ( everything is going according
to Divine plan now, we no longer need to be involved ) and stay away from anything main
stream media since this is not aligned with Truth.
Try to unplug from the 3D world as much as possible, this will help to raise your vibration.
As the Human species evolve into the light body, they will have more access to the Animal
and Fairy Kingdoms which have recently evolved to the next level also.
You may have felt this the last 6 months.
as I have talked about it before in my articles.
You may, now more than ever before, be able to tune into your pet or even an animal you
see a picture of.
This is happening as we moved into higher dimensions, we now see the connections between
all of life.
As you look into your pets eyes, you will feel more than ever before.
You will feel the special consciousness that they are and have an over whelming feeling
of protection for them.
We have all had this feeling towards our pets but not this is at a much higher level of
awareness.
As a compassionate caretaker of animals myself, I have known since childhood they were special
and to be handled with care.
They are the carriers of unconditional love and the teacher of this to humans in this
realm.
You may also want to become a vegan or vegetarian.
This is happening spontaneously for many as I have talked about in the last few articles
I have written.
When it happens you will know it and it is not something that can be forced, either you
will feel it or not.
There is a higher state of consciousness reached when this happens.
It will eventually happen for everyone.
The fairy kingdoms have also opened and come into the forefront now with the building of
the light body.
They are actively working along side HUmans.
In many of my client sessions I now see the fairy connections to many of my clients.
I see the fairy realms working with them and working to uplift humanity as a whole.
Its very exciting when I am tuning into clients and keep seeing the fairy realm appearing
in their energy field.
As the light body builds, through the Heart chakra this activates more Compassion, more
Love and more Light for the recipient to be able to hold.
As the light increases in each Human we come closer to the higher realms, as the higher
realms are all LIGHT.
There is no darkness and no duality there.
In order to hold more Light, work to delete all the darkness from your being.
Do not embrace it, transmute it instead into Light through healing of all dark and unhealed
aspects of yourself.
Look for TRUTH as this holds the highest amount of Light and this is how we connect with the
Creator of All That Is.
It is through the Light Body that we will expand into the 5th dimension and beyond.
It is through Truth, Compassion and Love that this expansion will take place.
It is through the Heart Center, the Heart Chakra that this is all possible.
It is through the Heart Center that the Divine Feminine emerges to Transform this world into
the New Earth.
December dates coming up : I will be talking more about these in the days to come.
December 12th 12/12/17 Stargate Portal
Work to open your heart chakra on this Sacred Day and to Heal any left over wounds from
the past.
December 21st Solstice Divine Heart Portal.
More details to follow.

Louis van Gaal versus Jose Mourinho – who really is the most boring Manchester United manager? - Duration: 5:55.
Louis van Gaal versus Jose Mourinho – who really is the most boring Manchester United manager?
FORMER Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal launched a stinging attack on Jose Mourinho this week and claimed his successor at Manchester United is producing "boring" and "defensive" football.
The outburst by the veteran tactician following United's 2-1 defeat at home to rivals Man City certainly raised a few sniggers and led to accusations of hypocrisy.
The Dutchman, who seemed to forget that he was blasted for his often tedious, possession-heavy football at Old Trafford claimed: If you ask me how did I do at United, I will say it was my best year ever, given the circumstances I was working under.
We played football that was quite alright. But its not football that is appreciated in England.
And yet, right now, looking at United, I have to conclude Mourinho is not being criticized while its far more boring football.
I would rather watch City play than United. You need quality in a squad and its clear City have a better squad.
What United produce now is defensive football. I always played attacking football.
The proof is that the opposition were always parking the bus. They dont do that now because Jose Mourinho plays so defensive.
Incredibly, an exclusive Sun poll found fans are split exactly down the middle when it comes to choosing which of the two managers' teams they would prefer to watch.
So, in light of that and Van Gaal's extraordinary assessment of Mourinho's methods, our friends at Football Whispers have delved into the stats to see which manager can claim the upper hand when it comes to the most exciting – or perhaps accurately least boring – style of play.
Throughout his career, Mourinho has certainly been labelled as a defensive coach, and his approach to big games against high-calibre opposition suggests he prefers to limit risk rather than bank on outscoring an opponent.
But those who regularly watched United under Van Gaal will remember a side whose football was slow, turgid and rarely much fun to watch.
While Mourinho's style is not as expansive and easy on the eye as his great rival Pep Guardiola's, few would claim the Portuguese tactician has offered less entertainment at Old Trafford than his predecessor.
And the stats prove it. In almost every metric, Mourinho's United side are outperforming the Dutchman's.
Purely in terms of goals, since Mourinho took over in the summer of 2016, United have averaged 1.67 per game in the Premier League,
an increase from 1.46 during van Gaal's two seasons, or 76 games, at the helm.
In terms of shots per game, Mourinho – who has led United in 54 top-flight games so far – leads with 15 to LVG's 12.39
Last term, United created over 100 more scoring chances (447) than LVG's men managed in his final season in charge (312).
The Red Devils are still very much a work in progress under Mourinho, and there have certainly been times when they have set up in an ultra-cautious manner in an effort to eke out a result.
But perhaps most importantly, they have – just – achieved a greater points per game total of 1.93 compared to 1.89
They have also won the Europa League and League Cup, compared to LVGs solitary FA Cup.
And they have also scored four goals in a game on eight occasions already this term, evidence that they are capable of turning on the style when the opportunity presents itself.
Many analysts feel Mourinho's lack of a prescriptive attacking blueprint holds his sides back somewhat, but few would argue that Van Gaal's rigid short-passing philosophy produced greater entertainment at Old Trafford.
Perhaps Van Gaal would contest that had he been afforded the transfer budget to sign the likes of Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku then maybe he'd have offered a more free-flowing style of football.
But he was able to call upon such attacking talents as Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie during his reign, with little return.
Although they are a long way behind City in terms of both entertainment and points in the title race, all the signs point to United being better to watch under Mourinho than they were when Van Gaal was in charge.
Not that the Dutchman would agree.

And we've developed a rapport where they're not afraid to tell me I'm wrong.
And, hopefully, I've learned to be able to say, "You're right."
I'm no good if I don't have good nurses to execute my orders.
I'm no good if I don't have the lab and x-ray techs to provide me with the technology to
back up my gut feel.
There's a lot social work and mental health and all those other people.
And I can be a lot of things, but I can't be everything all the time.
So ... I need them.

BREAKING News From The CIA – President Trump Is In Serious Danger.
A CIA ex-spy chief who has spoken out publicly against Trump, while at the same time inspiring
other career intelligence hacks to do the same, has now actually admitted his leading
role within the American intelligence community to wage political war against our president.
During a candid interview, the CIA's Michael Morell who was Deputy Director and former
Acting Director of the world's most powerful intelligence agency said that it wasn't
a great idea to leak against and bash a new president.
You think?
Morell was Former President George W. Bush's personal daily briefer for the agency before
and after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
And he later went on to serve under Barack Hussein Obama until his recent retirement
from the agency.
But during the Summer of 2016, he took the step intelligence officers usually avoid.
He openly endorsed Crooked Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump in a Carlos Slim owned New
York Times op-ed piece.
The endorsement read as follows, "I Ran the C.I.A.
Now I'm Endorsing Hillary Clinton."
After endorsing Killary he continued to be both an outspoken critic of Donald Trump,
and an early CIA voice promoting the Russian collusion and election meddling fake narrative
conjured up by the Clinton Machine to justify her loss.
This is the official confirmation we have been waiting for that the Deep State is indeed
at war with President Donald Trump and will stop at nothing to beat him.
ZeroHedge Reports:
Ex-Spy Chief Admits Role In 'Deep State' Intelligence War On Trump
An ex-spy chief who spoke out publicly against Trump while inspiring other career intelligence
figures to follow suit has admitted his leading role in the intelligence community waging
political war against the president, describing his actions as something he didn't "fully
think through".
In a surprisingly frank interview, the CIA's Michael Morell – who was longtime Deputy
Director and former Acting Director of the nation's most powerful intelligence agency
– said that it wasn't a great idea to leak against and bash a new president.
Morell had the dubious distinction of being George W. Bush's personal daily briefer
for the agency before and after 9/11, and also served under Obama until his retirement.
In the summer of 2016 he took the unusual step (for a former intelligence chief) of
openly endorsing Hillary Clinton in a New York Times op-ed entitled, I Ran the C.I.A.
Now I'm Endorsing Hillary Clinton, after which he continued to be both an outspoken
critic of Trump and an early CIA voice promoting the Russian collusion and election meddling
narrative.
As Politico's Susan Glasser put in a newly published interview, Morell "has emerged
out of the shadows of the deep state" to become one of Trump's foremost critics speaking
within the intel community.
However, Politico summarizes the interview as follows:
But in a revealingly self-critical and at times surprising interview for this week's
Global POLITICO, Morell acknowledges that he and other spy-world critics of the president
failed to fully "think through" the negative backlash generated by their going political.
"There was a significant downside," Morell said in the interview.
Not only had Morell during his previous NYT op-ed stated that he was committed to doing
"everything I can to ensure that she is elected as our 45th president" but he went
so far as to call then candidate Trump "a threat to our national security" – while
making the extraordinary claim that "in the intelligence business, we would say that
Mr. Putin had recruited Mr. Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation."
Curiously, Morell in his latest Politico interview indicates when asked about his "public profile"
and activism so soon after leaving the agency (something that was relatively unusual prior
to Trump taking office) that his post-retirement media appearances have been approved and/or
received some level of oversight by the CIA.
In the interview Morell states, "I did a 60 Minutes interview about my life inside
CIA, and it's something the agency thought that was a good thing to do, and I taped most
of it before I left the agency."
While such CIA review of former employees' publications and media interaction is nothing
new, in Morell's case was an unprecedented example of a very high profile intelligence
figure explicitly campaigning for a presidential candidate and against another while specifically
invoking his role at the CIA (he began his NYT column with, "During a 33-year career
at the Central Intelligence Agency, I served presidents of both parties — three Republicans
and three Democrats…" followed by a litany of key national security events he was central
to).
The other important confirmation to come out of the discussion is the clear guiding assumption
of the interview – that the intelligence "deep state" did in fact go to war with
Trump – which has now been confirmed by Morell himself, which is essentially to hear
it straight from the horse's mouth.
Glasser: Okay, so, flash-forward a year.
Was that a mistake?
Morell: So, I don't think it was a mistake.
I think there were downsides to it that I didn't think about at the time.
I was concerned about what is the impact it would have on the agency, right?
Very concerned about that, thought that through.
But I don't think I fully thought through the implications.
And one of the ways I've thought about that, Susan, is—okay, how did Donald Trump see
this?
Right?
And from—it's very important—one of the things we do as intelligence analysts
is make sure that our guy—the president—understands the other guy.
Right?
So, let's put ourselves here in Donald Trump's shoes.
So, what does he see?
Right?
He sees a former director of CIA and a former director of NSA, Mike Hayden, who I have the
greatest respect for, criticizing him and his policies.
Right?
And he could rightfully have said, "Huh, what's going on with these intelligence
guys?"
Right?
Morell here seems to confirm Trump's narrative of events concerning Russiagate "fake news"
and willful intelligence leaks intended to damage the president, despite his opening
obfuscation of "I don't think it was a mistake" (so he's essentially admitting
the negative consequences but with no regrets).
Surprisingly, Morell even implicates himself with the words, "And then he sees a former
acting director and deputy director of CIA criticizing him and endorsing his opponent."
The interview continues:
Glasser: It embroiders his narrative.
Morell: Exactly.
And then he sees a former acting director and deputy director of CIA criticizing him
and endorsing his opponent.
And then he gets his first intelligence briefing, after becoming the Republican nominee, and
within 24 to 48 hours, there are leaks out of that that are critical of him and his then-national
security advisor, Mike Flynn.
And so, this stuff starts to build, right?
And he must have said to himself, "What is it with these intelligence guys?
Are they political?"
The current director at the time, John Brennan, during the campaign occasionally would push
back on things that Donald Trump had said.
So, when Trump talked about the Iran nuclear deal being the worst deal in the history of
American diplomacy, and he was going to tear it up on the first day—John Brennan came
out publicly and said, "That would be an act of folly."
So, he sees current sitting director pushing back on him.
Right?
Then he becomes president, and he's supposed to be getting a daily brief from the moment
he becomes the president-elect.
Right?
And he doesn't.
And within a few days, there's leaks about how he's not taking his briefing.
So, he must have thought—right?—that, "Who are these guys?
Are these guys out to get me?
Is this a political organization?
Can I think about them as a political organization when I become president?"
So, I think there was a significant downside to those of us who became political in that
moment.
So, if I could have thought of that, would I have ended up in a different place?
I don't know.
But it's something I didn't think about.
Despite Morell's attempts to mitigate his own significant contributions toward creating
a climate of distrust between the White House and the intelligence bureaucracy, it seems
clear to the interviewee that Morell's admissions lend credence to Trump's side.
Indeed, Susan Glasser reasons, based on Morell's unexpected confessions, that "you or others
who spoke out and have continued to speak out actually tend to underscore his feeling
that there's a political divide."
Glasser: Well, it's very interesting, because of course, there are so many things you don't
know at that moment in time, including, of course, I'm sure you assumed, along with
everybody else, that Hillary Clinton was likely to be elected, and you saw this as contributing
to that in some way.
But it's certainly relevant in the context of the situation we find ourselves in a year
later.
And, if it tends to embolden Trump in his critique of your former colleagues who are
still serving in the intelligence agencies, and not only has this been a theme that he
has struck repeatedly to criticize—but also to politicize this.
And inadvertently, perhaps, you or others who spoke out and have continued to speak
out actually tend to underscore his feeling that there's a political divide, and now
you and others are on one side of it, and potentially all your former colleagues, and
then he's on the other side of it…
Morell: Yeah, and you can't pick and choose like that.
And when people in the intelligence community—particularly people in CIA, because for every other part
of the intelligence community except CIA, you're working for a cabinet member.
At CIA, you are working for the president of the United States.
That is your customer.
Right?
So, when you see your customer questioning what it is that you are providing to him or
her, and that person seems to be cherry-picking what they accept and what they don't accept,
it's demoralizing.
And when it's demoralizing, people take actions, right?
So, I live pretty close to the agency, and there's a coffee shop between me and the
agency, and I've met a number of agency officers in that coffee shop who have said
to me, "I'm thinking about leaving."
Yet Morell in a round about way previously admitted that he is personally one of the
chief authors of precisely this "demoralizing" scenario in which the president doesn't
fully trust his intelligence briefers.
But we should all remember that this is a man who on the one hand described "Russia's
hacking is the political equivalent of 9/11" and constantly hyped "Russian propaganda",
while on the other he went on a lengthy RT News segment in order to promote his newly
published book.
The Deep State, which is something I would have personally called anyone a nutty conspiracy
theorist just for even mentioning it two short years ago, is real and it's livid at the
fact that an outsider like Donald Trump, who actually cares about us peons, is taking them
apart at the seams.
As of now, no one knows how this will end, but one thing is for certain, our President
is in extreme danger and the Secret Service better be on top of their game.
what do you think about this?

The Nintendo Switch Is Selling Exactly As Fast As Sony's PS4 - Duration: 4:38.
The Nintendo Switch Is Selling Exactly As Fast As Sony's PS4
Nintendo announced today that the Switch had broken 10 million sales.
An astonishing number, given the Wii U before it, analyst projections being much lower, and the holiday season still to come.
The Switch has been a hardware success story only equaled by Nintendo's software success stories between The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey both released this year.
To put that sales figure in context, I wanted to go back and see how it stacked up to other current and former consoles.
As it turns out, it's among some of the best in recent memory, as you might expect.
With a March 3rd, 2017 launch, the data on December 10th, 2017 says that it took the Switch 9 months and 7 days to sell 10 million units.
In contrast, the PS4, launched on November 15th, 2013, took about 8 months and 29 days to sell 10 million units, almost identical.
The Wii also took about nine months to sell 10 million units, and that was when it was a worldwide, non-gamer craze unlike anything the industry had seen.
The Xbox One took about a full year to ship 10 million units, not sell-through, and we don't have the data for those exact figures.
The Wii U, Nintendo's last console, took 2 years and 7 months to sell 10 million units, and it ended its run at 13.5 million units.
It is entirely possible, if not likely, that the Switch could outsell the Wii U in totality in its very first year on the market.
So yes, all of this is very impressive.
And honestly, what Nintendo is doing with the Switch is even more impressive than Sony's PS4 numbers, even if the timeline is similar, because last generation, Sony sold 80+ million PS3s.
Nintendo sold 13.5 million Wii Us.
Granted Nintendo is Nintendo and is capable of turning sewer water into wine, but even for them, that kind of turnaround is impressive.
Will the Switch go on to outsell the PS4 in the long run, which now has 70 million sales worldwide? It's entirely possible, and we also have to remember that this is an era where Nintendo's dedicated handheld hardware will be coming to an end, and the Switch will also serve that purpose.
We already know that the next Pokémon game will be on the Switch, and if that's not going to be an even more massive sales driver than Zelda and Mario, I don't know what is.
Not to say that Nintendo will be able to full combine its past handheld + home console sales, but if it can even come close, nothing else on the market will be able to compare to it, Sony included.
For now, they could not be off to a stronger start.
