Dru Presta is only 21 years old but she is already making huge steps in the fashion industry.
In a world and industry where girls are nearly six foot tall and regularly sporting size 1 and 2 dresses, it is weird to see people like Dru take over the runway.
But despite her small frame and 3 feet and 4 inches in height (approximately 1 meter tall), she is still striking poses in front of the camera.
At a very young age, she was diagnosed with a form of dwarfism known as achondroplasia.
She is the only known person in her family to have this condition and because of that many people from her hometown of Reno, Nevada, were unable to understand and empathize with what she was going through.
Despite all the bullying she endured in her childhood, she still remained steadfast in her goal of becoming a model.
Despite those obstacles and hurdles, Dru moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming a model.
Her goal is to break the boundaries and status quo of the modeling industry and to inspire others with similar conditions to follow their dreams. In an interview, Dru said: 'I want everybody in the fashion world just to be accepted.
I want anybody to be able to walk that runway just like anybody else – whether you see them rolling down the runway in your wheelchair or on crutches.'.
