Kate Middleton and Prince William's Demands Special Nursery For Prince George and Princess Charlot - Duration: 2:11.
Kate Middleton and Prince Williams Demands Special Nursery For Prince George and Princess
Charlotte: Canada Royal Tour
Kate Middleton and Prince Williams Royal visit just may bankrupt Canada since The Duchess
of Cambridge demands such special consideration for her children.
The Cambridges base of operation will be Government House and a special nursery has
been built for Prince George and Princess Charlotte to enjoy during the Royal childrens
8-day stay.
The grounds of the Government House have undergone a transformation and are especially child-friendly
to satisfy Kate Middleton.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte will have the run of the park-like setting that
surrounds the grand manor.
Points of interest for George and Charlotte include a totem pole, a fountain in which
rubber ducks float and many pathways along which the children can skip.
Of course the Duke and Duchess of Cambridges nanny Maria Borrallo will be available 24/7
to play with George and Charlotte.
The nursery at the Government House that has been designed for George and Charlotte is
filled with all kinds of treats for the youngsters.
There are probably lots of expensive toys and stuffed animals with which George and
Charlotte can play.
No expense should ever be spared when it comes to Kate Middleton and Prince Williams offspring.
Even Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and wife Sophie Trudeau have gone out of their way
to ensure that George and Charlotte are well-cared for as Kate Middleton and Prince William fulfil
30 engagements during the Royal Canadian visit.
The Trudeaus, who have three young children of their own, have reportedly arranged special
meal plans for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Apparently a representative called over to Kate and Williams personal chefs and asked
for the recipe for Georges favorite dish spaghetti Bolognese.
No canned macaroni and beef for the Royal children.
Justin Trudeau and Sophie Trudeau will accompany Kate Middleton and Prince William during several
stops throughout British Columbia and the Yukon Territory.
It sounds as if the Trudeau kids will get some use out of the nursery too.
Of course there has been no mention of how much it has cost Canadian taxpayers who are
footing the bill for these renovations.
In case you were wondering, the flower and vegetable gardens at the Government House
are maintained by volunteers.
Maybe all the extra work to make the park-like setting look extra special didnt cost much
at all.

Teacher Toolkit: Save the Last Word for Me (Elementary) - Duration: 1:21.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
Save the Last Word for Me is a tool that I use here
in the classroom for the students
to use within their neighborhood or their groups.
We use it after we do a particular assignment,
and it helps them to really getting
to thinking about what they've done
and why they've chosen that.
I give them 30 seconds to write down one word.
Then they get 30 seconds to write down
why they chose that word.
Everybody thinks about one word differently.
Then they have speaking squares that they will share.
And the first person will put a speaking square in and say,
"I chose this word."
And the rest of the people with the neighborhood
will have to go around the table and say, "I think
you chose this word because--" and give
their reason, each time putting in their speaking square.
And that's the only time they can talk.
About North and South, I think you chose North and South
because those are the two sides of the magnet.
The reason I chose--
Then in the end, the first person goes back and says,
"I chose that word because--" and gives their thinking.
It helps the students just to understand
where that person was coming from and their line of thought.

STATE INCOME TAX | Marsha Blackburn for Senate - Duration: 1:20.
In '99, our governor proposed a state income tax trying to pay for this test
case for HillaryCare which was called TennCare. Too expensive to afford,
quadruples in cost, all of a sudden five years into the program they're trying to
figure out how they're going to pay for this thing. I felt it was important to
keep a commitment that I had made to my constituents when I ran for the State
Senate. I had made a promise not to ever support a state income tax because
people here didn't want it. Around me rallied thousands of Tennesseans and
they would come to the State Capitol. If they didn't have time to get out of
their cars, they would circle the Capitol and honk their horns to send a message
they did not want this state income tax. After four years of fighting this,
finally, the people of the state won, and on July 4th at 4 o'clock in the
afternoon in 2002, we lowered the gavel and ended the legislative session and
with it the push for a state income tax came to an end.

STAR WARS ISLAND - 8 Tips for Visiting Skellig Michael - Duration: 4:31.
Hey guys, it's your Star Wars Geek Julia here.
When Ben and I were planning our honeymoon, we had just seen Star Wars The Force Awakens
and we just had to visit that beautiful island where Rey finds Luke Skywalker.
But there are definitely some things I wish I'd known before I left.
So I've got some words of wisdom to share with you young padawan.
And like we're all hoping they'll do with the movies, I'm saving the best for last.
This is my Star Wars Geek's guide to visiting Skellig Michael.
So, first things first, you've got to use your landing tour well in advance, I'm talking
months.
And make sure that it actually says landing tour otherwise, well.
So this is a big one for me.
There are no bathrooms on the island.
There are public bathrooms near docks at Portmagee but that's going to be a good five hours where
you're not going to be able to go.
So with that in mind, be careful how much blue milk you drink in the morning.
Another reason to eat light in the morning is to prepare for the rough seas.
The water was so rough on the day of our trip that they almost cancelled it and 4 out of
the 12 passengers tasted their breakfast twice, so do yourself a favour and bring gravol.
The force is strong with the island, and by that I mean, the force of the wind.
If you're wearing a baseball hat, it will probably fly off.
Any loose clothing could catch the wind and could throw you off balance while walking
up or down those steep steps.
If the sun comes out, it might get warm, but if it's cloudy, it could be as cold as hoth.
It's a good idea to bring a backpack with extra layers and extra socks.
It's quite a climb getting up to the monastery so make sure to bring yourself some water
and food.
Keep in mind anything you bring onto the island, you'll have to bring off of the island.
If you're looking to get some of those iconic photos or videos without any people in the
background you're going to need to be the leader of the pack.
We recommend that you get up to the monastery as soon as you can before it gets over crowded.
This is such an awe inspiring place that it's easy to lose track of time.
Make sure to give yourself enough time to make the trek all the way back down, keeping
in mind you'll probably want to take a few photos along the way.
So this is the biggest piece of advice I could give.
Don't live behind the lens.
Although it was our love for the Star Wars movies that brought us to the island, as we
arrived and stared up at this beautiful majestic beast of an island, the scenes from the force
awakens were far from our minds.
Don't get me wrong, I am so happy that we have so much footage from our trip but I wish
I had taken a little more time to really appreciate what this place was.
Thank you guys so much for tuning in today.
Don't forget to hit subscribe or give us a like or comment below if you've got any questions
about visiting Skellig Michael.
And may the force be with you.

This is my Video 2.0 Final for my Communication Arts 200 class at UW-Madison. - Duration: 3:00.
Hi my name is Jacey Sullivan I'm a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
and I'm from Madison, New Jersey. I am currently pursuing a degree in strategic
communication and am a brand ambassador for Google's new application called Allo
on campus. So, I'm gonna talk about four main things in this video first I'm
going to talk about what Allo is, second I'm going to talk about what a job as a
brand ambassador really consists of, third I'm going to talk about what
events we put on to promote the app, and fourth I'm going to talk about how this
application relates to my major. The term brand ambassador is frequently
thrown around in conversations on college campuses. I chose to make this
video to get college students a glimpse about what being a brand ambassador
really entails and to specifically inform my viewers about Allo and a few of its capabilites.
Google Allo is a group messaging App that Google put out.
It's very similar to GroupMe but I really do believe that it's more efficient and its just an overall
better app due to the features that they have such as
such as adding memes and a ton of other things.
So what a job as a brand ambassador on this campus consists of
is essentially just increasing exposure of the application.
Passing out t-shirts running events getting people to
download it and increasing its popularity. I think it's really effective
to have brand ambassadors on campus because you're talking to peers and
showing that you use the app definitely makes them want to download it more and
makes it easier for Google as a company to just increase the applications
popularity. Some events that we put on we've done, restaurant takeovers where a
few ambassadors out of the total of 30 that we have will go to restaurants
such as PDR or Sencha and hand out vouchers and the vouchers can be exchanged for a
free slice of pizza or a free tea. And they get the voucher by downloading the app.
So, being a brand ambassador for Google Allo relates to my major because it taught me
how to implement all of the tools that I've learned in the classroom into a real life practice.
Ultimately my weekly tasks for Allo are what helped me to strengthen my
communication skills. In order to complete the brand ambassadorship every
student involved was required to promote our through two weekly social media posts.
I also strengthened my skills as a communicator when I put on my personal
event at Gamma Phi Beta and spoke in front of 200 girls
urging them to download the app in exchange for free stickers, bags, and hats
as well as pizza. The real way to practice your skills as
a communicator is to get involved in things like a brand ambassador position
and take all the skills that you've learned in the class and implement them
into a real-life practice and try to help out a company as big as Google
getting an exposure on this new application has definitely been a huge
challenge but I'm extremely happy that I took it on because it's definitely been
a rewarding experience. Thank you so much for watching!

How to Prepare and Plan for Practice as a Coach of Youth Atheletes - Duration: 9:40.
Hi Everybody, my name is Dr. Tim Baghurst and I'm the Director of Sports and
Coaching Science at Oklahoma State University. I also have a small sports
performance practice called GOAT Sports Performance.
I've been asked by SASA, the Stillwater Area Sports Association, to provide a few educational
videos for coaches and also parents who are interested in this topic.
Today, what I want to present to you is how do you actually run a practice?
Because sometimes what I see, when practices are run, are kind of
discombobulated, as you will, disorganized, random practices that have no real purpose.
And there's a real opportunity here for coaches to really
prepare for practice and run an efficient practice. As a consequence, you
end up with a much better team and probably happier athletes as well.
So let's get right into it. First, I want to point out this quote down at
the bottom right from John Wooden, famous basketball coach, who says "Never mistake activity for achievement."
What he's saying here is that we tend to do a lot of
busy things, but it doesn't really mean we're getting better.
And that's sometimes what happens in practice, especially with youth sports.
So we're going to look at the beginning, middle, and end of practice.
So let's get going. Before you start, you have to
consider who you're working with: male, female, co-ed, what sport, and what age.
All of these things are important to determine how long you can run practices for,
how long they can run a specific station for, and how fast they can throw, kick, etc.
That has to be catered to when you set up practices. The second thing is you have
to look at is your philosophy and values and ask "What's most important?"
I've done a video on this already in terms of your philosophy and values, but really your
practice should be a reflection of what you value as important. If it's fun, then
how is your practice set up so that it models that? If it's skill development,
same thing. If it's both, how do you incorporate both of those together?
Also, look at how long their attention can be held. And this is difficult. A general
rule is about two times their age is how long you can effectively run
a station, for example, or specific practice. You need to be
cognizant of that and understand that I can't expect my
young athletes to throw balls for 35 minutes and be engaged, working hard all
the time, and focused etc. It's just not going to happen. Also consider
your housekeeping items. How do you deal with who's bringing what for next
practice, when our next game is, how are we gonna handle all these things?
Do you do it at the beginning of practice or do you do it at the end? Start time is an
important one too. It's easy to get a little bit lazy here. I love this quote:
"If you're early you're on time. If you're on time you're late."
Really, it's on you to start on time. You don't have much time when you have practices.
You don't see these athletes very often, so when you do see them, you need to use
all of the minutes effectively. I mentioned John Wooden already. He was
famous for writing out the entire season's worth of practices to the minute
because he wanted to make sure he used all the time he had with his athletes.
So what can you do to help or create a culture where athletes are on time?
Well, it starts with you being an example, and being there well ahead of time, getting
things set out, getting your stations set up so that you're not trying to do all
this busy work while they are there waiting to start. Establish those
expectations not just with the athletes but also with the parents.
Make it a priority. Unfortunately, you're going to have some athletes who are late or
who don't show up regularly. What are you going to do about it? I'm not saying
there's any hard or fast rules here, but it's something you have to consider.
Are you just going to, "Hey, Johnny. Just get in here and just catch up with everybody."
Well, what about all their warm-up that they missed? Now they're going in cold.
Again, it's something you have to consider. I'm not going to provide you
with the absolute solutions, because every situation is different, but this will happen.
Also, look at warmups. The reason I mentioned this is
because it's something I rarely see. Your typical warmup is everybody shows
up and maybe runs a lap or two around the field. Well, that's just not fun for
most people including myself. What's the purpose? To prepare the body for
exercise, increased heartrate, blood flow, get the body temperature up, improve your
flexibility, and be ready to start practice. Well, you don't have to do that by just
making somebody run around the field or throwing balls to each other. You need to
make sure it's long enough, but it also has to be engaging, relevant, and
interesting. How can you make warm-ups fun? How can you make warm-ups
interesting so that your athletes are actually engaged in the warm-up process?
Can you create a game out of it? Can you have them moving around the field,
throwing and catching, or or some kind of competitive environment? Sure why not!
It doesn't have to be this dull, kind of boring standard,
"Let's go. Let's just get through this so that we can get on with practice."
In middle you need to think about this skill development aspect. What are
you trying to teach them? If fun is part of your core values, and I hope it is if
you're coaching children, how are you going to make it fun? Are you going
to create stations where they move from one place to the other to keep it a little
bit engaged as opposed to doing something over and over and over again for 45 mins?
The MVPA (moderate vigorous physical activity) is something that a lot of kids
don't get very much of. And what I see, sometimes in practices especially,
is a lot of kids standing around doing very little.
They're not very engaged; they're not very active, so they're not really
getting that physical activity. An educational component is
something you could incorporate, especially if it's in your core values.
How can you teach nutrition? How can you talk about sleep or or what they should
be doing before they come to practice or for a game? All of these things can be taught,
life skills per se, into your practices. But how do you do it or when do you do it?
This last one is periodization.
What you're looking at behind the middle circle there is actually the
periodization training schedule of an Olympian. It's very complex; it's very
complicated. It goes through a whole season. What I'm trying to show you
there isn't that you should set out something similar for a group
of eight-year-olds. But how can you periodize or design your practices to
get them to the best situation at the end of the year. What needs to be taught first, for example?
What skills need to be practiced? Does their fitness need to be
a focus at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of the season? All of these
things need to be considered rather than just going out, "Today I think we should practice this."
That's what I see a lot of and it's very ineffective coaching.
Then closing, look at the cool down and stretch. That's something again
I don't really see much of. What I see is, "Everybody take a knee. Let's deal with
some housekeeping stuff. Okay, get out of here, we're late." Well, your body's been
moving around. It does need to cool down. It can be stretched; stretch being
lengthening the muscles (and tendons) so that they're more flexible and able to perform more effectively.
It also avoids injuries. As you go from being physically active to doing
nothing at all, everything tightens up. Then clean up; if you've got balls
all over the field, for example, how does that get picked up? Are you using your
athletes, assistant coaches, or are you going to find yourself cleaning everything
up after everybody's left? Recovery is important as well, especially after very hard practices.
And that's teaching or providing that education for your young athletes
on how they can recover. Teaching the parents as well is great!
I don't see very much homework given in terms of what they can do at home to
practice or improve, whether it be watching a YouTube video, or reading an article,
or studying a certain player, or even getting out and doing some physical activity.
Why not? I mean, just because they're not at practice doesn't mean
they can't be practicing. But if you don't give them some direction,
chances are it's either going to be done incorrectly when they do practice,
or they're not going to practice at all. The last thing I like to
do is talk about what's coming next. We've talked about what we've done
during the practice, but then prepare them for the next session so they know
what's coming, and they can start thinking about it rather than,
"Okay, see you at our next practice." If you've planned out your schedule,
you know what you're practicing next and you can tell them.
Well, I hope this has been useful in some way
in terms of how you set out and operate a practice.
Every sport, every age is different, and every coach is different. But there are
some general guidelines. Of course, if you want more information about myself,
it's there at my website. Also, Stillwater Areas Sports Association, their website is
there to see what sports they offer, what ages, and how you can be involved in coaching.
Until next time, though, thanks so much for watching.

4 TIPS FOR A STRESS-FREE HOLIDAY SEASON (A Christmas Vlog) - Duration: 5:29.
Hi guys! Dolrich here.
So for tonight's vlog
I made a list on how to be stress-free
During this holiday season
We already know in two weeks time it's already Christmas
And then in three weeks time it's already 2018. It's New Year!
So I made this list to help you guys
how to be stress-free
So let's get started
Number #1: Is to plan ahead
Why is it very important to plan?
The more you plan the less stress that you could have.
And you don't miss out on anything as well.
If you have a planner or an agenda
It states there all the things that you need to do.
It prepares you mentally as well.
If you are prepare and if you know the things that you need to do for today,
When you know your plans you will be worry free.
So that is my tip: you have to use your agenda, you have to use your calendar
So Tip #2:Is to have breaks.
So what do i mean when i say breaks?
So imagine yourself being in a stressful situation,
In a energy depriving situation
So what do you need to do when you are in those scenario's.
All you have to do is to get out of the situation
Probably excuse yourself or like go to an empty room.
All you need to do is to
Close your eyes
And don't think of anything else and just
Inhale deeply and also exhale deeply
Very important thing about this technique
Is that you have to pay attention how you inhale and exhale.
Do this exercise for for like 10 seconds or for like 15 seconds.
And then when you open your eyes slowly once again,
You will feel have a very relaxing feeling.
It makes your mind empty and clear.
So try doing it.
Tp #3: Get moving!
What do i mean when I say get moving?
So from my past vlogs you've seen that I'm always
Physically active, and what i mean is to
Exercise! What happens during this holiday is
We go to different parties.
And then we tend to eat a lot
Our calorie intake goes up during this holiday season
What happens is that our calorie intake goes up while our activity level goes down.
Which in turn
Develops your sugar into fat
The best way to the best way is to burn
Our extra energy (caused by fats)
And you could do that by doing some exercises?
It can be cardiovascular exercises or strengthening exercises as long as you make yourself
Physically active during this holiday season.
Tip #4: Be thankful!
This holiday season
We need some time to do self-reflection
Self reflection on how this year turned up for us (positives and negatives),
What have we done or achieved this past year.
And it is on us if we want to further do this or to make adjustments for the year 2018.
It is very important as well is to say "Thank you" to your family members,
To your loved ones and also to your friends
Thank you because you've been with them this past year
And because you've had amazing memories with them.
To your loved ones who just you could say also how much you appreciate them.
Being your life, and that you're happy being with them.
And that is actually the meaning of Christmas, right?
L-O-V-E
LOVE
That is the importance why we are celebrating Christmas.
So guys those are my tips for you to be stress-free during this holiday season
So let us enumerate them.
Number one is to plan ahead.
Number two is to have breaks
Number three is to get moving
