what's up guys it's Michael here with primal edge it's the holiday season 2017

and today we're putting together a gift basket on a budget

fifty dollars one store let's go all right well we're gonna get this little

excursion started all of us at one time or another had to start with zero tools

in our tool belt maybe it was your father or grandfather mother or wife

more often than not someone got you your first tool and for many of us the

infection spread today I'm gonna put together a holiday gift basket full of

all the basic tools needed to get anyone started and we're doing it for under $50

also you might want to stick around to the end of the video I'm feeling a

little bit festive this year and I decided to throw in one more giveaway

today's video first up we have an eight piece screwdriver set by cobalt it comes

complete with four standard & three Phillips screwdrivers it also includes

that useless funny shaped zigzag screwdriver

it only gets used by that one guy who was about to comment to tell me what

it's really called and why it's the bee's knees of handheld screw

manipulating devices retail 9.98 next up a hammer buy work Pro nothing fancy here

just an inexpensive I need to bank stuff really hard hammer retail 5.98 and of

course what tool kit would be complete without a tape measure by Stanley this

one comes sporting real numbers and everything true it only gets up to 12

feet but that should cover most odd jobs around the homestead at least to start

retail for 4.98 I also included a warner plastic putty knife the first one I had

I owned for almost twelve years before it finally broke countless uses and

worth every penny. all 98 of them. next in the lineup we have a torpedo level I

know I know what would dress to say if it looks straight it is straight yeah

well straight ain't level so they're retail 4.78. I also included an

all-weather notepad for 2.98 there's always a need to write something down

measurements parts whatever and oh yeah the Carpenters pencil

for a whopping 25 cents no commentary required for this one next we have a

kickback razor knife by Cobalt rope tape cheese when you need to cut

need the tool to do it retail 6.98 and the universal fix all duct tape you

gotta have duct tape retail 3.98 while we're on the obvious let's check out a

can of WD-40 another must-have for any respectable tool kit retail 3.99 last up

the tool bag made by amp this 13 inch tool bag is every bit as basic as my

ex-wife nothing fancy no frills no thrills just a bag big enough to hold

everything we got retail 6.98 now guys I know this may not be the most impressive

collection of tools but this kit is geared for those folks out on their own

for the first time this is meant to be the kit they'll keep in the hall closet

or under the sink away from the pipes please hopefully I've given you some

costs you not a penny extra and so here's the receipt and as you can see

the entire lot costs only forty-nine 86 with tax had pushed me over the budget

by to 85 but since taxes vary and may not even apply in some cases I'm calling
