I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review of the Superchips Flashcal F5,
working with all 2007-2016 JKs.
This is for those of you who have added larger tires onto your JK and are looking to make
sure that your speedometer and odometer are accurate as well as adjusting your automatic
transmission shift points for those new larger tires.
If you've regeared your Jeep, this will allow you to make those adjustments as well in order
to keep you from going into limp mode.
And this also gives you a lot of other adjustability for everything from the TPMS system to your
horn and headlight options, to your locker options if you have a Rubicon that has factory
electric lockers.
I really like this system because it has a screen on it which makes it really easy to
use as opposed to some of the other calibrators out there on the market that just use dip
switches.
This is fairly priced, and you can always upgrade this if you decide that down the line,
you're somebody who wants some additional tune options so that you can run a higher
octane fuel and squeeze a little bit more power out of your JK.
The F5 is Superchips new version of the Flashcal.
The old version had a lot of the same functionality, but this one is much more sleek and modern
looking.
And it includes a two-and-a-half inch HD color screen which just makes using the programmer
a little bit more pleasant.
Now, this is the Flashcal and Superchips also has the Flashpack.
The Flashpack comes preloaded with a couple of different tunes for higher octane fuel
which again will allow you to get more power out of your JK.
You can always update your Flashcal and turn it essentially into a Flashpack by adding
those tunes at any point by going to the Superchips website, paying some additional money and
downloading those tunes onto this device.
These devices work by just plugging them into the OBD tube port on your JK and usually turning
the key on and off, pressing the okay button a couple of times and giving you access to
the main menu.
From there, you'll be able to make all of the adjustments to all of the different settings
that we've mentioned.
So when you get this calibrator home and take it out of the box, the first thing I recommend
is to plug it into your computer with the included USB cable, go to the Superchips website
and download the program that allows you to update this system.
From there, you'll also be able to download the free TPMS adjustment software so that
you'll be able to turn this system on and off so if you're running a larger tire with
lower tire pressure or you're offroading your air down.
You don't have to worry about having the TPMS light on your dashboard and having that annoying
dinging every time you start and turn off the Jeep.
Now the main functions of this system that most of you guys are going to use is the setting
for newer tires.
You can adjust tire size for up to a 42-inch tire.
And that's important again for a couple of different reasons.
It will make sure that your speedometer and your odometer are accurate which will also
affect the on-dash miles per gallon gauge.
But if you're an automatic transmission guy, this will also adjust to those shift points
to give you back that more stock feeling even with larger tires on the Jeep.
Another setting that will get used a lot is the gear ratio setting.
So if you've changed the axles on the Jeep or if you just regeared the factory axles,
you'll be able to change the setting in the computer for up to a 538 gear.
Which again, will make all of the adjustments for speedometer, odometer, shift points and
get everything back to as much as a factory feel as you can without adding a tune or any
power adders onto the Jeep.
So the tire size, the gear ratio, and the TPMS system on and off are the systems that
a lot of you guys are going to use the most.
But that's certainly not all this can do.
You have a lot of other options especially for the newer JKs as far as how long the interior
and exterior lights stay on after you turn off the Jeep or when you unlock or lock it.
You can also adjust whether the horn chirps when you lock and unlock the Jeep.
You'll also have the opportunity if you have a Rubicon to customize the way that you can
use those lockers all through the system.
If you have a winch on the Jeep, you can bump up your idle with this unit to give you a
little bit more amperage out of your alternator and keep the battery charged up during long
hard pulls.
All of these are very easy to change and to modify with this system, again, thanks to
the color screen and the buttons as opposed to some of the other systems on the market
that in my opinion aren't quite as easy to use.
Aside from all of those calibration options that we talked about, this system will also
read and clear check engine lights, which is a really nice feature to have.
You don't have to run out to the parts store every time you have a check engine light to
see what it is.
You can read it, clear it if you want to, all from this unit which is a really, really
nice feature to have.
All in all, I would say that this system is really fairly priced.
It gives you all of those calibration options right out of the box for under $200.
The screen and the buttons make this really easy to use.
It's really fast at updating the Jeep, and I have no issues with the user interface or
with any of the options that it gives you.
I also like the fact that this is upgradeable to essentially the Flashpack that you can
pay a little bit of additional money and download those tunes for higher octane use onto your
Jeep.
So if you decide you want a little bit more power down the line, you can always upgrade
this unit without needing to replace it.
So if you've added larger tires on to your JK, regeared or you just want options to change
a lot of the other conveniences and your TPMS system, this does all of that, and it does
it for under $200 with a really easy to use interface.

Italy going down would be like sticking a block of Semtex under the Euro and pressing
the button marked "Kaboom."
As a single entity, the EU has an economy larger than China.
If it goes, the effects on the world would be enormous.
US consumers would be hurting faster than you can say "global depression."

The US And China Engage In A Trade War.
US president-elect Trump has made no bones about his plans regarding China.
He wants to slap tariffs on Chinese goods and square off against Beijing over trade.
While Beijing may back down, things could go the other way.
The US and China could wind up embroiled in a painful trade war.
This would be . . . interesting, to say the least.
China and the US trade nearly $600 billion worth of goods.
While China imports more from the US than vise-versa, the goods the US imports are harder
to source elsewhere.
So China would face bigger immediate problems, but US consumers would find themselves paying
an enormous "tax" on consumer electronics, a worrying proposition in the digital age.
Then there's the fact that China imports, assembles, and then reexports goods all over
Asia.
A damaging trade war would spill over onto Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan and mess things
up for millions.

The Taliban Take Over Afghanistan (Again).
Remember the Taliban?
Like an unwanted Marvel sequel, the fanatical Islamist group has returned with an even bigger
budget.
Only instead of targeting the summer schedules, they're on the verge of overrunning all
of Afghanistan.
Nearly 150 of Afghanistan's 400 districts are already totally or partially under Taliban
control.
There's fighting in 50 more.
These are the highest numbers since 2001 and are being fueled by soaring Afghan military
and police defections.
In a manner eerily reminiscent of ISIS's 2014 rampage across Iraq and Syria, the Taliban
are recruiting their own disaffected "enemies" en masse, gaining piles of new equipment in
the process.
Currently, the US has 10,000 troops stationed in Afghanistan, but they're making very
little difference.
Unless the tide turns, it's almost certain that 2017 will be the year the Taliban retake
Afghanistan, as though that whole War on Terror thing never even happened.

Marine Le Pen Is Elected President Of France.
Marine Le Pen's Front National party is currently leading in polls for France's
2017 elections.
That's not good.
Front National is a party so far right that they make General Franco look like a social
justice warrior.
The party's founder, Jean-Marie Le Pen, has repeatedly denied the Holocaust.
His earliest members were French collaborators from World War II.
He used to publish Nazi songs.
As for the charge that his party is "fascist," in 2012, his daughter, Marine, sued a socialist
politician who described Front National that way.
A French court ruled that "fascist" was a literal description of their politics.
If Le Pen becomes leader of France, it would be like Brexit on steroids.
Not only would a major European country be ruled by a neo-Nazi, but Le Pen has promised
to yank France out of the European Union.
The result—a total collapse of the EU and economic shock waves that will rock the world.

North Korea Goes Full Nuclear.
North Korea is the gag nation.
While Iranian nukes worry us, North Korea acts as a punchline in Seth Rogen movies.
In truth, we may be underestimating the DPRK.
2017 could see their nuclear capability go from "scary background noise" to "terrifying
threat."
In 2016, Pyongyang carried out two nuclear tests, bringing its grand total to five.
No other nation in history has made it to five tests without perfecting a device it
can attach to a missile.
Kim has made ramping up rocket research a priority.
Crazy as it sounds, North Korea might be closer to a working, ready-to-deploy nuclear missile
than we realize.
Conservative estimates put mid-2018 as the point that North Korea reaches full nuclear
capability, but there's a chance it could be earlier.
Kim already has 20 nukes, a fleet of missiles, and a fragile ego.
For the pudgy tyrant, entering the nuclear club early would be worth any number of his
people starving.

ISIS Unleashes Carnage In Europe.
In the 13 months since November 2015, ISIS and IS-inspired terrorists have killed over
260 innocent people in Europe and more if you include attacks in Turkey.
(Turkey sits in both Europe and Asia.)
Horrific as this is, it could merely be a taster of what is to come.
With ISIS's Iraq and Syria strongholds collapsing, Western jihadists are being sent back home
by the thousands, all with only one goal: to cause maximum casualties to civilians.
According to Europol, these returning fighters have been briefed to try to launch attacks
in European countries, with France, Germany, and Britain the top targets.
Scarily, it's thought that these attacks may well involve weapons of mass destruction
like sarin and anthrax.
Although many will be foiled, it would just take one successful attack to cause untold
casualties.

A Crippling Cyber Attack.
On December 23, 2015, a group of hackers infiltrated and disabled three major power stations in
Western Ukraine, leaving 230,000 homes without power in the middle of a freezing winter.
It was the first major cyber attack on a power grid in history.
Scarily, far from being soft targets, those Ukrainian power stations had better cyber
protection than most US ones.
Foreign policy experts have been warning about a crippling cyber attack on vital US infrastructure
for years, but after the Ukrainian attack, those warnings have become deadly serious.
In Ukraine, power was restored after six hours by using manual backups—which US substations
lack.
If a similar attack hit the US, the power could stay out for months on end.
Such attacks are increasing in number.
In mid-2015, France's TV5 was almost destroyed by Russian hackers.
In winter 2016, Ukraine's power grid was hit again.
It may only be a matter of time before the US is targeted.
03.
Genocide In Africa And Asia.
Right now, Iraq, Yemen, and Syria are vast killing zones.
Parts of Nigeria, Pakistan, and Afghanistan are engulfed in violence, and people are still
dying in Ukraine, Mexico, and Somalia.
To this dispiriting list, 2017 may add two more countries: Myanmar (aka Burma) and the
Central African Republic (CAR).
The CAR is an ethnically divided, failing state with armed gangs roaming its countryside
and has been at boiling point for the last two years.
Observers are worried it will spill over into ethnic violence, if not outright genocide,
any day.
Myanmar, on the other hand, was meant to be a success story.
After the country transitioned to democracy after 60 years of dictatorship, it was supposed
to become a beacon of the free world.
Instead, security forces began destroying villages belonging to the Rohingya minority
and ethnically cleansing their populations.
Frighteningly, all the indicators for a potential genocide to unfold in 2017 are already in
place.

A Major War.
Is 2016 the new 1913?
There are signs out there that major powers could be sucked into horrifying collisions
if things don't immediately change course.
Depending on those involved, this war could be anywhere on the scale from "locally devastating"
to "World War III."
China is one potential worry.
In recent weeks, China and the US have been squaring off over both the South China Sea
and Taiwan.
While China would be insane to directly engage the US in a war, there's nothing to stop
them from attacking minor US allies.
This could then suck in the US and NATO, much as the assassination of one middle-aged dude
in 1913 wound up sending the entire world to war.
Then there's Russia.
One former NATO deputy commander has already predicted that Moscow will annex the Baltic
states in 2017, leaving the US and EU treaty-bound to protect them.
Or maybe the recent assassination of a Russian diplomat in Turkey will bring Ankara and Moscow
toe-to-toe, a conflict that, once again, the US would be treaty-bound to get involved in.

A US Insurgency.
It sounds ridiculous.
The idea that a group in the United States would arm itself and begin a violent insurgency
sounds like something from a dystopian sci-fi story.
But it's scarily plausible.
US politics are more polarized than ever.
Pew Research shows that Americans no longer trust their countrymen from the other side
of the political spectrum.
Extreme left and right groups are stirring their followers into a violent frenzy on social
media, everyone thinks the system is rigged against their group, and both sides are arming
themselves.
Throw in a super-divisive election and a president many are convinced is illegitimate, and you've
got the stage set for another civil war.
We're not saying this will definitely happen in 2017 or even at all.
Most likely, none of this will come to pass, and we'll look extremely foolish.
But the US right now is a divided, angry, and worried place.
And unless someone works to break this cycle, it could lead down a very dark path indeed.

Hackers have taken down the website of the Bilderberg Club, replacing the shadowy organization's
page with a warning that the Atlanticist elites have a year to work for the benefit of humanity
or their assets will be hacked next.
"Dear Bilderberg members, from now on, each one of you have 1 year (365 days) to truly
work in favor of humans and not your private interests," the hackers, who identified
themselves as the "HackBack movement and Anonymous," said in a message posted at
bilderbergmeetings.org.
"Otherwise, we will find you and we will hack you," they threatened the "Wealthy

"Mind the current situation: We control your expensive connected cars, we control

So it was just about average,
so we're gonna give it a 7 out of 10 on taste.

I mean and then you get the free chips and salsa,
so that's good.
We're gonna give that a 7 out of 10 also,
'cause it's just right down the line.

And then, our final thing is the environment.
I mean, it was nice, it was clean.

2016 The year that was...2017 the year to come.... - Duration: 6:38.
Hi everyone, Merry Christmas I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas with your loved
ones and I had a beautiful Christmas with my kids and I'm very grateful for the birth
of Jesus Christ our savior and our Lord and it was just a wonderful time for me to reflect
so today's video is not going to be the love challenge.
For this week I'm going to take a break on that and then I'll resume with that next week.
By the way we are now half way through the challenge so I believe we have 14 more bible
verses to go through for the year 2017 I hope and I plan to have a video once a week, every weekend.
So hopefully we can be done with the challenge, probably by mid march we'll be doing something
else, I'll start a new series after that.
This video is basically a reflection, my personal reflection on the year 2016 and my hopes dreams
and aspirations for the year 2017.
For me 2016 I have no idea where the time went, I was actually chatting with a friend
and we were just discussing how 2016 just like that, it was just gone and for me reflecting
this, it's kind of exciting, that we're starting a new year but at the same time it's
kind of scary and terrifying because I don't want 2017 to pass me by as fast as 2016 and
I don't want to be at the same place I am this year by the end of next year.
Personally this year for me was a year of healing, it was a year of personal growth,
it was a year of spiritual growth, it was a year of patience.
I would say I wasn't able to get accomplish as much as I wanted to but I'm grateful
that I'm still here because there's just so many people who are not here with us today.
I'm grateful for all the blessings, especially grateful for my spiritual journey.
I think this year I really rebuilt my relationship with God and I could literally see his work
in my life.
There were so many times where, honestly I didn't know how I was going to get through
things but he showed up and showed out for me, he protected me and my kids, he provided
for me and my kids.
So I'm extremely grateful for rediscovering my personal relationship with God, something
that I cherish so much and Im just so grateful and feel so immensely blessed because without
him I am literally nothing and I don't know how I would've gotten through this year
without the Lord.
My biggest lesson for 2016 I would have to say is Patience, I had to learn to be patient
this year.
Typically I would say that I'm a very patient person, but I do have a problem when things
are in somewhat of a chaos, when I feel like things are broken, I feel like I need to fix
them, I feel like I need to do something and this year it was just one of those times where
God told me, Hey, this is not something for you to fix.
You just need to lean on me, so I had to take a big back seat and just have faith in the
Lord and know that whatever I'm going through even if it looks somewhat chaotic, even if
it looks unfixable that he got my back and that he's the ultimate fixer and that everything,
will be ok, eventually, things can not stay in a perpetual state of brokenness and sometimes
I think…one thing I learnt this year is that when things are so broken, that we don't
even know what to do.... or we cant even fix them….it's probably God demolishing everything
because what we built was not what he wanted for us, it was broken to begin with, he saw
it miles away you know that, that building is about to break down so he just watched
us try to patch things together but eventually he has to step in and that process can be
painful it can be terrifying and fearful because it's just everything is just falling apart.
But things are falling apart so that God can rebuild something even more magnificent than
what we can even dream of or we can even comprehend, so that's my faith.
For the year 2017 I would like to go even deeper and higher in my relationship with
the Lord.
I would like to have a more consistent prayer life, to have a stronger spiritual connection
with God, to have the gift of Discernment, to have a more consistent time spent reading
the bible and time in prayer.
But I would also love to cherish the moments more, to be more in the present especially
with my kids, you know sometimes we get so busy and we feel like we always have time,
and kids you know grow up so fast.
I would also like to laugh more and I would like to cry when I do need to…to just surrender
and let go and also I would love to experience new opportunities, new adventures and new
places.

First thing's first; I came in with extra defensive gear to 'snapshot' bonus defenses from Aspersion and Enchanter's armor buff.
Since the bonus is already calculated, I can safely switch back into my normal gear with additional defense.

The most important stats here are the physical and magical defenses.
First step is pretty easy. Hamaya and just wail on the crystal with Gohei and Carve Attack. Occasionally clear out adds so they don't get in the way.
I'll occasionally hide in Safety Zone, as the bug to infect yourself with Plague Vapors still exists in this version.
Step two is also fairly easy. Since I have no Haste, I need to be prepared to destroy the totem before even starting on the crystal.
It's always useful to have Laima up, now that it's fixed. It'll properly update cooldowns.
Once again, dealing with mobs gives us breathing room to attack the crystal without interruption.
Carve World Tree and Clap is enough to shut down everything around you for a while if you're in a good position where auto-attacks hit the crystal.
Step three is really annoying. I handle it by allowing Hamaya and Carve Owl to deal with the blue expel crystal, while I struggle with the red vacuum crystal.
Fade prevents the expel from hitting us. Gives us some room to make the owls, which no longer get pushed away anyways.
The crystal was invisible here. And there's no tricks to deal with this one. Fade won't stop the vacuum. It's pretty much just tank and spank.
This is the struggle.
Fortunately it seems my owls up there were doing a good job of pulling aggro from down here, giving me breathing room.
Much like a normal run, step four can be skipped simply by waiting in the previous room while the timer runs.
Otherwise I'd just Carve World Tree + Clap the next part anyways.
Bless you if you can jump the platforms without falling.
Step five is without a doubt the hardest part. Destroying all the objectives in time is no easy task.
I'll Hamaya the first one, and use owl to deal with two more. Then the slow part begins.
Clap ensures they last long enough to deal with their targets.
The hardest part of this is dealing with mobs soaking up your hits. Need to balance between killing and objective.
In a pinch, using Barrier to give yourself room to hit the target uninhibited works well too. I'll demonstrate this later.
If you can find a rhythm where you know they won't sponge your attacks, just keep wailing on it!
Close one. Next time I'll definitely use more than one Barrier on this section.
Step six is in thanks to Agny Necklace and Kannushi. The combination of these two assets will make this a breeze.
We'll just make this center bit the killzone.
Clap means we get use out of our owls the entire step as well.
Gohei, as a Magic Holy skill, is fantastic with this build to clean up stragglers.
Step seven, Vhaldobas. He actually has more attack than I can reduce to 1, but I can still bring it down to negligible. Use Ausrine still, to prevent knockdown.
Fade buys me some time to set up what I need to.
Get the damage out as soon as possible. You can grab Ausrine once everything is ticking. You have Safety Zone for the time being.
Nothing spawns until a friendly entity is 'detectable' hence spawn on statue carve.
I stopped killing enemies on this step, because Hauberk is very prone to getting infected by Plague Vapors. He can then spread it back onto you, since he's friendly.
Switching to magic defense for this last fight.
Same thing: Fade to set everything up. I actually end up forgetting a crucial thing though - Bloodletting.
Fortunately he's dark and not ice? Definitely makes this go much faster.
