'Forget it,' London tells Scots who want second independence vote February 2, 2017 - Duration: 2:18.'Forget it,' London tells Scots who want second independence vote
London will not help Scotland hold another referendum on seceding from the United Kingdom
before 2020, British defence minister Michael Fallon said on Thursday, prompting a row with
Scotland's pro-independence devolved government.
"Forget it," Fallon told the Herald Newspaper when asked whether he would facilitate a new
independence referendum following Scotland's vote last June to remain in the EU.
"(First Minister Nicola Sturgeon) ... has to respect the decision of Scotland to stay
inside the UK in 2014 and the decision of the UK to leave the EU.
Respect works two ways," he added.
Scots voted 55 to 44 percent to remain part of the UK in 2014 and Prime Minister Theresa
May has repeatedly said she does not believe there is a need for a second referendum.
Scotland, one of the United Kingdom's four nations, voted to keep its European Union
membership in last June's referendum while Britain as a whole voted to leave, prompting
renewed calls from Sturgeon's government for a re-run of the independence vote.
Sturgeon said on Twitter it would be a "disastrous move" for May's ruling Conservatives to block
an independence referendum.
A Scottish government spokesman said later: "Any Tory (Conservative) bid to block a referendum
would be a democratic outrage, but would only succeed in boosting support for both a referendum
and for independence itself – something which the Prime Minister has previously indicated
she understands all too well."
Support for Scottish independence is still at around 45 percent as it was in 2014, polls
indicate, despite Scotland now facing the prospect of Brexit.

For Honor - Controls and Combat Tutorial - Beginner Tips and Guide - Duration: 6:44.Hello, and welcome to another For Honor breakdown video, today we're gonna be going through
the basic and advance combat control tutorial.
Use the left trigger to lock on to a target using Guard Mode.
This is going to be where you'll be spending a lot of your time, so get used to holding
down the left trigger.
To quickly switch between targets in guard mode, quickly release and then resume holding
left trigger.
The icon that appears over your Hero during guard mode indicates which direction you are
currently guarding and also which direction you would attack in.
Use the right stick to change your guard and attack direction.
You can only block an enemy if your guard is set to the same position as their attack.
It's time to test this with an AI.
Fortunately, he goes easy on me, but it the heat of battle when your health is low and
your opponent is coming at you, it can be difficult to stay on top of guarding in the
correct direction.
Thankfully the game assists you with the correct direction by giving you a red on screen alert
when an enemy attacks.
As mentioned earlier, it is only possible to land a hit and inflict decent damage to
your opponent if you attack in a direction they aren't guarding in.
Use the right stick to select the direction you wish to attack, and use either right bumper
for a light attack or right trigger for a heavy attack.
Switching between guard and attack stances between attacks is a good way to confuse your
opponent and make it more difficult for them to block your attacks.
It is also important to note something that isn't in the tutorial, Stamina.
Stamina is a green bar displayed below your characters white health bar, and is used to
execute attacks and other moves from different heroes.
Once you reach zero stamina, you enter a recover phase where the screen greys out and you move
slower, you are vulnerable in this mode and I would advise you resist the urge to press
the attack until you regain your stamina.
As you would expect, clicking the left stick in activates your sprint.
Sprint also counts as an execution condition for attacks, for example, every hero can perform
a running strike from sprinting by pressing either the light or heavy attack button depending
on the hero.
Here is a perfect example of how to capture zones during a dominion match, being inside
the zone which is indicated by white, allows you to capture it.
However if an enemy is also in the zone, you need to hunt them down and slay them in order
to start capturing the zone.
It looks like the battle has begun, time to show off what zone B is about.
Whilst in guard mode or free movement, you can use A to dodge roll.
AI soldiers can't be locked on to, so it's a simple matter of using light or heavy attacks
to mow them down.
Beware, they can get in the way at the worst of times and even kill you if you're caught
off guard.
I would recommend being vigilant whenever you are in zone B in case you are overwhelmed
by AI or a surprise attack from the enemy players.
In order to capture zone B, you need to clear the marked area of enemy soldiers, allowing
your forces to push forwards.
You can see there my weapon glowed slightly and I performed an area attack to take down
multiple soldiers, this is done by pressing both light and heavy attack buttons at the
same time.
Time for an example of the dodge ability.
Simply use the left stick to control the direction of your dodge and press A when the enemy begins
their attack to successfully dodge.
Similar to guarding, you can only dodge when your stance matches the attack of your opponent.
Here is something that is incredibly important during combat, and depending on the enemy,
can end up being the most annoying thing for honor.
Guard break.
Guard break is used to break through your opponents guard and land quick attacks ,You
can execute the guard break by pressing the x button when your enemy is guarding.
A red shield symbol flashes when a guard has been broken.
, it also enables you to execute a throw by pressing the x button again once the guard
has been broken, you can control the direction fo the throw with the left stick.
Throws can be fatal, as being pushed into walls will stun you, into soldiers or other
players will reduce your stamina, and into spikes or big drops will kill you.
As you can tell guard break sounds abit overpowered, fortunately it is possible to counter by using
an interrupt.
When an opponent initiates a guard break, press the x button the moment you see the
red shield symbol over your hero.
On to the Parry.
This is the more complicated version of a block.
The same rules apply regarding the direction of the stance, except you have to time a heavy
attack with your opponents attack to perform the parry.
Mastering the parry is vital to classes with low guard capabilities such as the berserker
or peacekeeper.
The parry is also a move execution condition, and can lead to some devastating counter attacks.
External blocking is how we managed to defend against multiple attackers, its as simple
as matching your guard stance to the direction the attack is coming from.
This can save your life when buying time for backup to arrive or when building your revenge
meter which you're about to see.
Once revenge is available, press Y to activate revenge mode.
If you time the activation to when you are close to an enemy, you can knock them to the
ground.
Revenge mode doesn't last long, but whilst active give your hero increased attack and
defence.
The common tactic when outnumbered is to block until revenge is up and attempt some epic
manoeuvres to kill your enemies.
Be sure to check out my channel for more for honor videos, see
you on the battlefield!

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN HANGING RING LIGHT FOR LESS THAN $30 - Duration: 15:59.Hey guys welcome back to my Channel today I'm going to be showing you how I made this
hanging ring light.
This DIY project is easy.
It's great if you're on a budget, a college student, just starting out in Product Photography
or just starting a YouTube channel and best of all you can make this ring light for under
$30 and if you play your cards right, for under $25.
So without further ado, LET'S GO!
This is what you're going to need: Cardboard box, a wire wreath frame - mine
is 18 inches, you can go ahead and get a 12 (inch frame).
Daylight LED rope lights, zip ties - mine are 14 inches long, some aluminum foil, scissors,
a knife, marker or Sharpie, something to measure with like a measuring tape, muslin fabric
or wax paper, and a glue gun or Elmer's Glue.
First you'll need to just place your wire frame on your cardboard and draw an outline
of the wire wreath frame - the inner circle and the outer circle.
And you want to make sure that the circle wires are curving towards you.
And a good way to know this is if your Outer Circle is flush against your cardboard.
Next I use a knife to cut along the outline of the Inner Circle.
At this point I wasn't really sure what direction I would go.
You've probably seen other tutorials that cut out an entire ring, but I think I'm going
to go with something different so at this point I am only going to cut out the inner
circle of my cardboard.
Next I use the knife to clean up edges on the inner circle and the outer edges of the
cardboard.
This is entirely optional and if you want a ring-shaped backing for your light you can
go ahead and cut the ring out at this point.
Next I move on to my wire wreath and my rope lights.
And got my zip ties and just started to arrange my rope lights from the inside of a wire frame.
And I made sure that the end I was not going to attach to the outlet was what I started
with.
I am just using the zip ties to secure the rope light to the wire frame working from
the inner ring to the outer ring.
And I'm also using those wires that cross all the rings to help secure it as well.
I am also not tying the zip ties too tight because I don't want them to damage the lights.
As you can see I'm securing the zip ties and also using the wires that run perpendicular
to the rings to kind of anchor the zip ties as I secure the ropelight.
So here you can see how I just graduate to the next ring and securing the rope light
with the zip ties.
Notice that I have the zip ties all facing inward.
I just figured it would be easier to deal with cutting them and working with the zip
ties to keep them going in one direction and again like I said before, make sure that your
rings are curving out two words you from the wire wreath.
Once you get a hang of this part of the process you will get into a groove and it will go
smoothly, but it does take some time so you have to be patient.
All in all I would say that this entire project probably will take you between an hour and
an hour and a half maybe less if you are a bit more prepared and organized than I was.
And just remember you want the zip ties to secure the LED lights but you don't want to
make them too tight that they run the risk of damaging your LED bulbs.
So at this point you want to go ahead and just cut your zip ties.
I actually tried using the scissors but the spring back from it was just really painful
on my hands so I resorted to an old jewelry pliers and that got the job done much easier
for me.
Once I am done securing all my zip ties, I cut the ends off and just noticed that the
end of the rope lights that I am going to connect to the plug is hanging off slightly,
and you're not secured completely to the wire frame.
So my clever little mind had an idea and I decided not to do what I've seen other tutorials
do by cutting the cardboard ring out, and I was just going to work with what I had here
with just the inner circle cut out of the ring.
So next what I did was get some foil and just secure it to the cardboard by using some you
know by just laying down some lines of hot glue and laying the least reflective side
on to the glue.
Or have the most reflective side of the foil facing me.
And since nobody's really going to be seeing the back of this thing, I wasn't really too
concerned with making the back a certain way.
I just decided to cut the foil to just make it a little bit more flush against the curve
of the Inner Circle.
But that was really about it, and I just continued until the entire cardboard was covered in
foil.
Except for the strip at the top because I have a little idea for up there.
And here I am just making sure that the edge of the foil is secured at the back because
when I leave the muslin on it later I just want to make sure that it has a good footing
to secure it self to.
In hindsight I really would have cut that piece off the top, or made it shorter because
my goal is to make this ring light hangable, which it is and you'll see at the end.
But because of the length of the top piece it made it a little bit too long.
So here I am just putting a hole in the top where I will be putting a zip tie through
to secure the ring to the cardboard.
So here I am hot gluing another strip of cardboard to the top part of this contraption.
I did this to reinforce the strength of this top piece because I knew if I wanted to have
this DIY ring light hanging I would need to make where I'd be hanging it from stronger
so that the cardboard wouldn't eventually give way.
So next I started to secure the the wire wreath by sliding the zip ties between the rope light
and the wire frame, and securing it to the cardboard.
You're just going to see me do that a couple times - Top bottom left and right, just to
make sure that the ring light is stable.
So I made sure to go back and double up on the zip ties in the areas that I had secured
it to the cardboard.
Left, right, and the bottom.
So once you get all your zip ties secured, you could actually go ahead and just plug
your ring light in and just stop right here.
You'd have a pretty decent DIY ring light situation going on, but because I want this
to hang and I want it to diffuse the light more effectively I am going to take it a little
bit further.
So to sort out my hanging situation I go ahead and take my measuring tape and measure a few
inches in and make these marks even.
And then I go ahead and just punch some holes with my scissors, because what I am going
to do is take some zip ties and run them through these holes so that I can make this ring light
hangable.
But like I said in hindsight I would have made this part of my life shorter so that
it could hang a little bit higher.
I think part of that problem was that my wreath is 18 inches long as opposed to 12.
If I had a 12-inch wreath I think I would be set because this wouldn't be so long.
And any case if you do happen to try this and you do have a 12-inch Reece you should
be good to go.
There is my hanging contraption.
So This is actually a pretty neat idea if you are going to put a hook on your wall and
hang this from there, or put this on the back of your door for your filming, etc.
Yeah this works pretty good for that.
If you do decide to just go for the ring, you can probably just use zip ties and attach
them around your ring once everything is finished putting together and hang it from a hanger.
So no I'm just measuring out the muslin cloth and getting it situated so that I can cut
the right size off to cover the light.
I bought two yards and this is going to use just under one yard.
You don't necessarily need the measuring tape here for this because you can just place your
fabric on top and average out the size of fabric that you'll need.
But if you want to be a little bit more meticulous you can definitely use your measuring tape
to get this together.
I just went through and made sure to glue all the edges down up the fabric, and in the
process just secure any of the foil that wasn't glued down properly prior to this.
So at the bottom where I have the piece that connects to the plug I am just going to snip
the fabric a little bit and just try to finagle it and work it around so that that piece is
exposed so that it can connect to the wire that plugs into the outlet.
And here I'm just cleaning up the edge at the top on snipping off the extra fabric so
that I can glue it down and finish this off.
So the next thing I'm going to do is flip it over, and you just make a snip in the center
of the fabric so that I can cut the muslin cloth the fabric into pieces so that I can
have them glued to the back and just form like a snug cover over the lights.
So you just want to cut them almost like slices of a pie.
It doesn't really matter what shape they take, you just have to make sure you make them small
enough so that when you blew them they don't look baggy from the front and they just form
a nice snug cover like I mentioned before.
Once you get done securing and gluing down these pieces you just want to snip off any
extra bits of the fabric aren't glued down.
That's it!
Your DIY ring light is ready to go!
Don't leave just yet because next I'll be telling you what changes or different methods
you can use to get a better result for your hanging DIY ring light.
So I just wanted to show you what my results were with my DIY ring light.
This is what it looks like without the ring light.
Obviously this is the light off.
This is with the ring light.
This kind of balances out the orange tone of the regular lights in my house and I know
that when it is daylight out once I go into another area because I don't get any light
in my bathroom at all, but once I go into another area I should have better results
with it.
If you are into product photography like jewelry this should add, if you are able to rig it
up, this should help with the lighting.
So I'm just going to show you what it looks like with the lights off above and just the
ring later on.
And here you have it.
I think this is a pretty good result.
No you can definitely, like I said, go ahead and use wax paper like you've seen and other
tutorials.
I'll show you right now why what my thoughts are on what I have so far and what I would
change.
I just have the hanger and the zip ties and yeah.
So this piece here because it hangs so long and it's kind of below my face I actually
have to come down this way to see to be in the middle of it.
I would shorten that but I also realize that it is because of the fact.
this is an 18 inch wire frame.
So if you find a 12 inch frame you will be much better off in terms of the size and being
able because 12 inch wire frame would basically be like the inside of this right here.
So it'll be that small and if it were on this it would be higher anyway.
I don't know if that makes sense.
So for me another option that you have is actually putting the zip ties instead of having
this piece up here you can put the zip ties right here and to just have them at all four
corners so that you can rig it up however you want so that this piece that attaches
to your cord that plugs into the wall can be put on whichever side is closest to the
outlet or is more suitable for running your wire.
Or if you wanted to have it your zip ties actually attached around here, so if you didn't
have all this, and you just had the square, or you just did the ring, you could put zip
ties around the ring itself, kinda like how I have them wiring through here.
But you can put them around here and then have the zip ties that you put around here
be what you are going to suspend it from.
So the good thing about using the zip ties is that if you have like hooks over your door
you can actually just hook them onto the hooks and hang them from there.
So guys I hope you found this tutorial helpful.
If you did please give it a thumbs up!
Let me know in the comments if you're going to try it.
Let me know if you're going to rig it up differently from the other ring lights you've seen, or
what I've done here.
If you find any other hacks for making it hangable or suspendable

Korea's presidential hopefuls at glance after Ban Ki-moon's drop-out - Duration: 4:07."Obsolete and narrow-minded" were the words former UN chief Ban Ki-moon had for Korean
politicians... as he dropped out of the presidential race yesterday... to the surprise of many.
Our parliamentary correspondent Ji Myung-kil is in the studio.
Myung-kil, what do make out of Ban's move?
Right...
I was following former UN chief Ban Ki-moon the whole day as he met with leaders of the
political parties... and in the afternoon, when I was sitting in the Assembly's briefing
room,...
Ban suddenely appeared... and I remember looking at the other reporters,... thinking, "why
is he here?"... and that's when the announcement was made.
And of course... right after that we had immediate reactions from the political parties.
The two conservative parties who were trying to lure Ban were dumbfounded.
And the liberals,... maybe a sigh of relief?
But expressed respect for Ban's decision.
In his speech yesterday,... we could sense a great deal of disappointment on Ban's part.
He said he had "pure motives" and wanted to bring about change in Korea using the experiences
he had as the UN chief.
But he said he was downplayed and mocked by the media,... which he said was sad.
So, at this point, who is likely to be in presidential race, Myung-kil?
We do have more possible contenders waiting in the wings.
I had lunch with one lawmaker yesterday who is also thinking about running... but let
me just tell you:...
On the conservative side, for the ruling Saenuri Party... we don't have an obvious candidate
yet... but there are rumors that they might try to recruit the current Acting President
and Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn.
As for the splinter conservative...
Bareun Party... we have Yoo Seong-min... who officially declared last week and Nam Kyung-pil,
Gyeonggi-do province governor.
On the liberal side... there's the former chief of the main opposition Democratic Party
of Korea Moon Jae-in... then there's An Hee-jung, the current governor of Chungcheongnam-do
province, and Lee Jae-myung, the current mayor of Seongnam.
And for the minor opposition parties... the People's Party has Ahn Cheol-soo, the former
business tycoon, and for the Justice Party, there's chairwoman Sim Sang-jeung.
Ban Ki-moon had been considered a relatively strong contender had he gone through with
his presidential bid.
But now that he's out... what do the chances look like for the others?
Well,... if we look at recent polls,... Moon Jae-in is in the lead among all presidential
hopefuls, with support above 30 percent.
He's followed by Hwang Kyo-ahn...
An Hee-jung...
Lee Jae-myung...
Ahn Cheol-soo and so forth.
Having Ban out of the race has created momentum for the liberals.
The ones who stand to gain are An Hee-jung and Ahn Cheol-soo.
That's because Ban's supporters were largely either from the western Chungcheong-do Provinces,
where An Hee-jung is governor, or were conservative voters looking for an alternative to the Saenuri
Party, which is where Ahn Cheol-soo comes in.
Pundits say that with no powerful alternative to represent the conservative camp... the
election may turn into a race between the opposition and the opposition.
As I said, Hwang Kyo-ahn, the acting president, is being tipped by many for a bid on a conservative
ticket, but he's neither confirmed or denied it.
Hwang is seen as the number two guy under President Park Geun-hye and thus sharing responsibility
for her failures.
So some Ban supporters who wanted political reform may avoid him.
Right Myung-kil, Thank-you for that insight.
Do keep us updated.
Sure.

Court ends recovery program for Hanjin Shipping - Duration: 1:35.One of the world's largest container carriers... and once Korea's largest...
Hanjin Shipping is offically now history.
Seoul court has decided to end its corporate turnaround and let it collapse.
Oh Jung-hee has the details.
Once Korea's largest, and the world's seventh largest shipping company,... Hanjin will soon
mark the end of its 40-year history.
The Seoul Central District Court announced on Thursday that it is terminating Hanjin's
recovery program and will declare the firm bankrupt on February 17th.
The ocean carrier has completed selling its major assets.
It's sold off its 54-percent stake in U.S. port operator Total Terminals International,
or TTI,... and it's sold its equipment-leasing subsidiary HTEC,... for a combined amount
of roughly 78 million U.S. dollars.
Twenty percent of TTI is now owned by Hyundai Merchant Marine -- and the rest by Swiss shipping
company MSC.
The news comes five months after Hanjin was put under court receivership last September,...
after its creditors rejected the firm's self-rescue plan and decided to end their financial support.
Hanjin's collapse was a shock to the global logistics industry, causing a massive impact
on retail and trade,... and leaving billions of dollars in cargo stranded at sea for weeks.
In December, accounting firm Samil PwC, appointed by the court to look into Hanjin's financial
condition,... recommended that it would make more sense to liquidate the shipping company
than to continue with the recovery program.
Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News.
