The Media Can No Longer Hide the Truth About Fukushima � the Entire World is in Danger

We first want to thank Fox News for FINALLY reporting on a subject that has been highly

censored by the mainstream media for the past 5+ years, the situation in Fukushima, Japan

is completely out of control.

While Fox News recently reported that radiation levels at Fukushima were now at �unimaginable

levels� more than 5 years after the disastrous earthquake and tsunami struck, as Steve Quayle

asked in an SQNote he left while linking to that story, why has the mainstream media been

silent all of this time?

We�ve long believed that �reality� has a way of �awakening� everybody and the

stories recently coming across the wire over at ENENews have been mind-numbing the last

few weeks to say the least.

Mike Adams over at Natural News gives us a new update on the �Fukushima radiation apocalypse�

that has been steadily spewing poisons into our atmosphere for almost 6 years now with

hardly a peep from the MSM.

In the most recent stories from ENENews, on February 5th they reported the heartbreaking

news that a record high number of whale deaths had recently been reported surrounding the

Hawaiian Islands with the sick and starving animals allegedly a �mystery� to experts.

Reporting that rotting carcasses were scattered throughout the islands, how can so-called

experts NOT know that Fukushima poisons flowing into our oceans for years are most likely

to blame?

As Adams tells us in his video, the sustainability of all life throughout the Northern hemisphere

is in danger and the entire MSM up until now has been in a complete blackout mode except

for this recent reports.

Do CNN, MSNBC and the rest of them think that if they DON�T report upon Fukushima, what�s

happening to the fish and our oceans is �fake news�?

Do they think that because we can�t actually SEE the radiation, it�s not really there?

The MSM�s failure to report upon Fukushima may be the final straw that not only breaks

the camel�s back but puts that camel out of our misery.

For the past several years, we�ve reported horror story after horror story of sea life

dying all across the Pacific Ocean and up and down the entire West coast, from Alaska

to California.

Also documented in great detail over the past several years by ENENews, with mass animal

deaths all across the world being kept track of by End Times Prophecy, it�s clear that

the mainstream media has completely failed the American public on Fukushima.

Another recent story over at ENENews reports on Fox News� sudden admission that Fukushima

is out of control, highlighting a few phrases used by Fox in their report that shows just

how completely out of touch the MSM has been with reality over the past 5+ years.

Fox News, Feb 8, 2017 (emphasis added): Adam Housley, who reported from the area in 2011

following the catastrophic triple-meltdown, said this morning that new fuel leaks have

been discovered�

He said that critics, including the U.S. military in 2011, have long questioned whether Tokyo

Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) and officials have been providing accurate information on the

severity of the radiation�

He added that critics are now questioning whether the radiation has been this severe

all along.

Fox News video transcript excerpts, Feb 8, 2017: �Experts believe melted fuel is leaking

inside the plant almost daily�

No one knew [in 2011] of the growing threat which today only continues to get worse�

Wow, this is a crazy story� What some people are saying is, � Has it been this bad since

the beginning?��

Quite surprisingly after all of their years of silence, the Washington Post actually finally

reported on Fukushima on February 8th in a story in which they asked:

�Could the radiation level be even higher?

Possibly.

The 530 sievert reading was recorded some distance from the melted fuel, so in reality

it could be 10 times higher than recorded� said Hideyuki Ban, co-director of Citizens�

Nuclear Information Center.

Imagine that� ten times higher than the �unimaginable levels� already detected.

Is this why the MSM is finally reporting upon Fukushima?

As a commenter on the Washington Post story wisely mentions, we�re watching a run-a-way

train speeding completely out of control and experts have admitted, there is really no

way to stop it� and least not in the next several decades.

Devastating to our oceans and therefore our food chain, we read in the new SQAlert seen

below that most Americans are completely clueless to what is happening to the Pacific Ocean

and up and down the West Coast of America.

and not even ONE (we are talking about people your age and mine� about 65� highly successful

and intelligent) wrote me back with perhaps a query as to whether it MUST BE radiation

from Fukushima or if it MIGHT HOPEFULLY BE El Nino algae �red bloom� choking off

oxygen.

And the ignorance of the American people in itself is the work of the MSM, neglecting

to report upon what could be the most important health story in America and the northern hemisphere

today � a story that up until now, has flown completely under the MSM radar.

So why would the MSM �black out� Fukushima for nearly 6 years and why are they suddenly

reporting upon what�s happening there now?

In the new story from Mike Adams over at Natural News he reports �there are times when I�m

convinced humanity is a suicidal cult of complete idiots whose only real achievement is figuring

out increasingly obscene ways to distract themselves from reality.�

Adams points out that while most of the nation was fixated on the Super Bowl and Lady Gaga,

the Fukushima disaster got much worse�and the MSM remained silent.

In the new story from Ethan Huff over at Outbreak.News he reports that according to one liberal college

professor, the world will be much better off without 90% of the population.

Professor Eric Pianka from the University of Texas claims the Earth is way overdue for

a massive die-off.

And with much of the left thinking murdering babies is ok, as is �expressing their love

through violence upon those who don�t think like they do�, might Fukushima be the �ultimate

depopulation weapon�, intentionally unleashed upon �the West�, an endless radiological

attack upon the Northern hemisphere, one we cannot see nor smell nor taste?

The fact that the mainstream media has seemingly gone out of their way to cover up what has

been happening at Fukushima for almost 6 years now gives us a hint that something much more

might be at play.

And the fact that liberal professors such as Eric Pianka seemingly have a death wish

for our society should prove to us what kind of people have gained power over the past

decade+, and that have led to snowflakes suffering nuclear meltdowns on US college campuses.

future.

This is what awaits us all.

Pianka�s collective death wish for humanity fits right into the current eugenics plan

of limitless abortion, which has become a rallying cry of the political left.

Just recently, millions of women marched on Washington, D.C., to demand that they continue

having access to abortion clinics where they can murder their unborn babies on a whim � because

this is supposedly their right as women.

Such evil is exactly the type of thing that Pianka seems to embrace as good in his distorted

worldview.

Killing off humans is a good thing in his demented mind, and this message of human destruction

is continually being spread to impressionable young men and women attending college who

likely never thought they would encounter this toxic message while trying to get an

education.

After making his initial statements in front of a diverse crowd at the Texas Academy of

Sciences, Pianka was later approached by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after

being reported as a potential terrorist.

Trump's Administration Is Falling Apart, So He Attacks The Media - Duration: 4:50.

If you've paid attention to anything happening in the world in the last 24 hours, you understand

that the Donald Trump administration is absolutely falling apart under the weight of its own

corruption and incompetence.

The latest reports are showing us that actually, as it turns out, members of the Donald Trump

campaign might have had contact with Russian intelligence officials before the Presidential

election.

Now this is not necessarily, as far as we know now, regarding any of the DNC leaks,

any of the DNC hacks, but it is regarding Trump campaign officials discussing with Russian

intelligence officials what may or may not happen if Donald Trump wins the Presidency.

A move that is highly unethical and mostly likely illegal.

Now Donald Trump understands that his administration is falling apart.

He's had Michael Flynn resign, and Flynn, I promise you, is just going to be the first

domino to fall.

So, what does Donald Trump do?

Well, he does what he does best.

He took to Twitter early in the morning on Wednesday to attack the press, the media,

the so-called fake news outlets reporting all of this, which is literally every media

outlet with the exception of Fox News.

CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, New York Times, Washington Post, blogs, and websites all across the internet,

everybody's talking about this, because it really is the biggest news in the country

right now.

Fox News isn't, and so Donald Trump added a little thing on the end of his Tweet that

said, "Hey, Fox & Friends, you're doing great."

The media, Donald, is not the problem at this point.

The problem is that you are too corrupt and incompetent to lead this country, and you

picked people to help you out, that were just as corrupt as you are.

The media is not at fault here.

The media is actually finally doing their jobs.

We had requested evidence into this issue, and it looks like now that evidence is starting

to trickle out as we continue to get these leaks from US intelligence officials who intercepted

the phone calls between the Trump campaign.

Now this is a big deal.

A lot of people out there are still saying, "Well, it's a good thing that they discussed

Obama's sanctions against Russia."

It's not.

If the sitting administration wants to discuss sanctions, they can do that.

Some guy, like Michael Flynn, who was not yet in a position of power, cannot do that.

Trump's campaign officials cannot do that.

This is something that has to come from a sitting administration.

What you do once you get into power, good or bad, it's on your shoulders.

You can't circumvent the current President, like they tried to do with President Obama,

just because they thought that Hillary Clinton, whatever, was bitter.

And so, Donald Trump also in his Tweets threw out a couple attacks against Barrack Obama

and Hillary Clinton, as if either of them have anything to do with what is happening

with the Trump administration right now.

Donald Trump will not last until the end of this year.

I mean, we're less than a month in to his Presidency, and we haven't gone a single day

without some sort of massive screw up by the administration, or a fairly decent size scandal

emerging.

Whether it's Kellyanne Conway going out and showing for Ivanka Trump or Michael Flynn

sharing secrets with intelligence from foreign countries.

Those are not okay.

I mean, look.

Just this last weekend, when Donald Trump went on vacation, he still managed to screw

things up, when some idiot took a picture of the guy holding the nuclear football, plastered

it all over the internet.

So now, everybody knows who the guy is who has this, they know who to target if you want

to get the nuclear codes.

You can't get any dumber than that.

So at this point, for the love of God, can we go a day?

A day without a scandal?

Maybe an hour?

Hell, an hour would suffice, at this point.

But, Donald Trump is so incompetent, that he can't even give us the pleasure of a 12-hour

span without some sort of scandal.

And, like always, every time a new scandal erupts, according to Donald Trump, "It's all

been fabricated by the fake news."

Because, Donald Trump refuses to accept the reality that he is not good enough to be the

President.

When it comes to Disney•Pixar films,

we all know about the stories, characters and infamous Easter eggs.

What's lesser known,

is how these films are altered for an international audience.

It's not just what you hear...

[speaking in Hebrew]

...but also what you see.

Here is our look at some of the most interesting examples

of Pixar adapting their films, for an international audience.

Let's start off with something as iconic as a film's title design:

Toy Story 3, for example.

Simply seeing this image, probably sparks a nostalgic response

for most of you, however, that image might not feel the same

for someone in Russia

who is accustomed to this version of Toy Story 3's title art.

This is similar for about every film throughout Pixar's catalogue.

Let's take a look at this scene from Ratatouille.

On the top of the screen,

you'll see the English version and the French version is on the bottom.

Abundantly full of words, this scene is an example

of how the visuals of a movie greatly differ,

depending on where you view it.

You can begin to understand the thought and consideration

that goes into creating multiple versions of every single film.

Take, for example, Ellie's iconic adventure book, in Up.

Here are some examples of what that book looks like in several different languages.

An alternative option to translation, is to replace the words all together, with images,

making that particular moment read more universally.

The English version of Up features a money jar

with Paradise Falls written on it.

The international version, however, has an image of Paradise Falls instead.

Rather than translating Paradise Falls into several languages,

the image automatically makes it comprehensible on a global scale.

This is the same treatment used in Monsters University.

Rather than translating the scare games, animators replaced it with Greek letters.

The same applies to Randall's cupcakes.

Faces are drawn on the cupcakes for the international version.

International viewers, however, will miss out on

the quick gag that you see here.

What's especially interesting, is when the changes you see

are a direct reflection of culture.

For instance, animators replaced broccoli, with bell peppers

in the Japanese version of Inside Out, since broccoli is widely enjoyed in Japan.

On a similar note, when Riley's dad is daydreaming,

the American version shows a hockey game being played.

In the international version, this has been changed to soccer,

since it is a much more popular sport around the world.

All of this goes to show

the time and thought that is invested into making Disney•Pixar films

unique and appropriate for viewers across the globe.

Keep your eyes peeled for how the films vary,

depending on where you watch them.

Imagine that you go to a car dealership

and the salesperson takes you on a test drive.

It turns out that this is a very nice man.

The more you talk to him while driving,

the more you feel that you could make friends with him.

But does this mean that the vendor sees you as a friend

He is there because he wants something from you.

He has expectations of you.

He sees you through the prism of your expectations

and what you can do for him.

By this he does not even see what you really are

or what you feel.

Unfortunately, the same is true of our relationships.

The biggest obstacle to true love

is our mutual emotional dependence on a partner.

Our expectations for a partner,

which there's a lot of, and the fact that

we don't even know about most of them.

And the greatest of these is the expectation

that your partner will make you happy.

Most people deeply believe that their happiness

can only be achieved thanks to their partners

and that they are the ones he constantly supply it.

That's why they look at them

as the vendor looks at the client

and really cannot see the real person that they are.

They love their partner

as they love their new mobile phone.

Because they can talk through it.

Because they can browse the internet and play games.

Because it has a beautiful display and is very functional.

But when it stops working as it should,

then they begin to see the worthless scrap

and they'll be pissed about that.

But worst of all, in the case of the phone

they are perfectly aware

that they do not love the device itself,

but all of those features you have at hand thanks to it.

But when you're in a relationship,

you think you love your partner,

not what you get thanks to them.

All you have to do to get rid of this expectation

is to realize that your partner is not just there to make you happy.

It is your task.

You also have to realize that you can be happy,

regardless of whether you're together or not.

Only when you stop wondering

whether you're attractive enough to your partner

or if they still love you enough

or if they haven't met anyone else,

only when you're demanding things of them

and stop trying to control them and tell them what to do,

only then you'll be able to see the real person

and not the non-existent image

that you created in your head.

And this is a necessary step for true love.

What does not being dependent on your partner really mean?

This means

that when he will meet with friends instead of you,

you'll respect their choice

and you do not have the slightest problem with it.

You wouldn't want them to meet you

if they didn't want to do that themselves.

You're happy that they're enjoying themselves

and you don't feel bad about it for a second,

but you also don't force yourself

to do anything you're not comfortable with

and sometimes you can tell your partner "no".

You stop being jealous of your partner

and you stop checking on them.

You're calm.

Not because you're sure that they won't cheat on you,

but because you're doing well,

even if they choose another person

and you'll not be together.

You enjoy the time you spend together

and love hanging out with your partner,

but when they're not next to you,

you don't worry about it or miss them.

You live your life

and don't have any fear in you or emptiness

because of the lack of a partner next to you.

From childhood cancers to autism, birth defects and asthma, a wide range of childhood diseases

and disorders are on the rise.

Our assessment of the latest science leaves little room for doubt; pesticides are one

key driver of this sobering trend.�

The rate at which autism instances have risen in the last 40 years is simply staggering.

In 1975, 1 in every 5,000 people developed autism.

In 1985, it was 1 in every 2,500, and in 2005, it was 1 in every 166.

Today it is approximately 1 in every 68 children.

�If it is an environmental cause that�s contributing to an increase, we certainty

want to find it.�

� Craig Newschaffer, an epidemiologist at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Research continues to surface indicating that autism goes far beyond just genetics, and

that we may need to consider multiple factors (like environmental toxins, prescription drugs,

etc) when trying to figure out what�s going on, and why autism rates continue to climb

exponentially.

�It�s time to start looking for the environmental culprits responsible for the remarkable increase

in the rate of autism in California.�

� Irva Hertz�Picciotto, epidemiology professor at University of California, David

Evidence is now pointing to the fact that agricultural pesticides (among various other

environmental toxins) might play a large role in the rapid increase in autism rates over

the past few decades.

A senior researcher from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Dr. Stephanie

Seneff is doing her part to create more awareness of these facts, which have yet to make big

news in the world of mainstream medicine.

At a recent event sponsored by the holistic-focused Groton Wellness Organization, she stated that

�At today�s rate, by 2025, one in two children will be autistic.�

Seneff presented slides showing a remarkably consistent correlation between the rising

use of Monsanto�s Roundup herbicide (with its active ingredient glyphosate) on crops

and the rising rates of autism.

Her research also reveals that the side effects of autism mimic glyphosate toxicity and deficiencies.

Correlation Doesn�t Mean Causation, But�

Although the graph depicts a staggering correlation, it does not �prove� that the rise in autism

is directly caused by glyphosate.

On the other hand, we have a lot of information and research available that suggests it could

be one factor (out of many) and Dr. Seneff argues that it is.

Pesticides have been linked to a number of human health ailments, from Parkinson�s

and Alzheimer�s to cancer and autism.

Dr. Seneff�s research has also led her to believe that vaccines containing aluminum

may also be a culprit.

The Toxicity of Glyphosate and Autism

In Dr. Seneff�s lecture, she pointed to the fact that Monsanto commonly argues that

glyphosate is not toxic (despite numerous studies proving otherwise) because our cells

don�t have what is called the �shikimate� pathway.

What�s important to note, however, is that our guts do indeed have this pathway and we

depend on it to supply us with essential amino acids (among other things).

Gut health is of utmost importance to overall health, so this is quite disturbing.

Seneff also points to the fact that there are other ingredients within glyphosate that

greatly increases its toxic effects.

It makes one wonder, doesn�t it?

How could a corporation like Monsanto � a corporation charged with regulating no less

than our entire global food supply � claim that glyphosate is safe despite all of the

evidence that confirms that it�s not?

�It is commonly believed that Roundup is among the safest pesticides.

This idea is spread by manufacturers, mostly in the reviews they promote, which are often

cited in toxicological evaluations of glyphosate-based herbicides.

However, Roundup was found in this experiment to be 125 times more toxic than glyphosate.

Moreover, despite its reputation, Roundup was by far the most toxic among the herbicides

and insecticides tested.

This inconsistency between scientific fact and industrial claim may be attributed to

huge economic interests, which have been found to falsify health risk assessments and delay

health policy decisions�

Keep in mind that the use of glyphosate rose 1500% from 1995 to 2005, and that 100 million

pounds of glyphosate are used every year on more than a billion acres.

It�s even been found in the breast milk of mothers, and in urine samples of people

across Europe.

The main toxic effects of glyphosate as identified by Dr. Seneff include:

Kills beneficial gut bacteria and allows pathogens to overgrow

Interferes with function of cytochrome p450 (CYP enzymes)

Chelates important minerals (iron, cobalt, manganese, etc)

Interferes with synthesis of aromatic amino acids and methionine � leads to shortages

in critical neurotransmitters and folate Disrupts sulfate synthesis and sulfate transport

Pesticide formulations that are sold and used are up to 1,000 times more toxic than what

regulators commonly claim.

Roundup is in fact the most toxic of herbicides and insecticides used.

There is a tremendous amount of evidence that also point to flawed safety evaluations.

�Adjuvants in pesticides are generally declared as inerts, and for this reason they are not

tested in long-term regulatory experiments.

It is thus very surprising that they amplify up to 1000 times the toxicity of their APs

in 100% of the cases where they are indicated to be present by the manufacturer �

Seneff notes a number of well-known �bio-markers of autism.� These include low serum sulfate,

disrupted gut bacteria, inflammatory bowel, serotonin and melatonin deficiency, mitochondrial

disorder, zinc and iron deficiency, and more.

She also points to the fact that �These can all be explained as potential effects

of glyphosate on biological systems.�

It�s also important to note here that a recent study conducted by researchers from

RMIT university, published in the journal Environmental Research, found that following

an organic diet for just one week significantly reduced pesticide exposure in adults by 90%.

Cynthia Curl, an assistant professor in the School of Allied Health Sciences Department

of Community and Environmental Health at Boise State University, recently published a pesticide

exposure study in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives.

Results of her research indicated that, among individuals eating similar amounts of vegetables

and fruits, the ones who reported eating organic produce had significantly lower OP pesticide

exposure than those who normally consume conventionally grown produce.

Beyond Dr. Seneff: More Research.

�The change in how agriculture is produced has brought, frankly, a change in the profile

of diseases.

We�ve gone from a pretty healthy population to one with a high rate of cancer, birth defects,

and illnesses seldom seen before.

. . . The tobacco companies denied the link between smoking and cancer, and took decades

to recognize the truth.

The biotech and agrochemical corporations are the same as the tobacco industry; they

lie and favor business over the health of the population.�

There is a tremendous amount of recent research being conducted that has looked into the role

of environmental toxins, like agricultural pesticides, in autism.

For example, a study coming out of the University of California Davis determined that pregnant

women who live in close proximity to land and farms where chemical pesticides are/were

applied experience a two-thirds increased risk of having a child with autism spectrum

disorder or some other developmental disorder.

�This study validates the results of earlier research that has reported associations between

having a child with autism and prenatal exposure to agricultural chemicals in California.

While we still must investigate whether certain sub-groups are more vulnerable to exposures

to these compounds than others, the message is very clear: Women who are pregnant should

take special care to avoid contact with agricultural chemicals whenever possible.�

� Janie F. Shelton, a UC Davis graduate student who now consults with the United Nations,

A new study published in the journal PLOS Computational Biology, from researchers at

the University of Chicago, also revealed that autism and intellectual disability (ID) rates

are linked with exposure to harmful environmental factors during congenital development.

In another case, a group of scientists put together a comprehensive review of existing

data that shows how European regulators have known that Monsanto�s glyphosate causes

a number of birth and brain malformations since at least 2002.

Regulators misled the public about glyphosate�s safety, and in Germany, the Federal Office

for Consumer Protection and Food Safety told the European Commission that there was no

evidence to suggest that glyphosate causes birth defects.

In fact, there is plenty of research confirming that mothers who are exposed to commonly used

�safe� pesticides give birth to children with lower intelligence, structural brain

abnormalities, behavioural disorders, compromised motor skills, higher rates of brain cancer,

and small head size.

�What�s appalling is that we have known about these dangers for decades yet have done

little about it.

Nearly 20 years ago, scientists at the National Research Council called for swift action to

protect young and growing bodies from pesticides.

Yet today, U.S. children continue to be exposed to pesticides that are known to be harmful

in places they live, learn and play.�

Is Tradition Important? - Duration: 5:18.

Some see it as essential to maintaining stability in a rapidly changing world;

while others see it as a senseless anchor, holding back the tide of progression.

Which is it?

Is tradition important?

In the western world, and in particular in the English-speaking world, there has been,

over the past thirty years, a very considerable loss in the valuing of tradition.

The modern context of our society seems to be one that wants to recognize and embrace

cultural change and elements drawn from everywhere other than that from which the

English-speaking world takes its roots.

In England and English Canada there is seemingly an embarrassment about teaching our history,

and the elements of culture that produced the English language, English literature,

the modern system of parliamentary democracy, common law and many of the freedoms the rest

of the world wants to emulate.

Education officials are reticent to unashamedly teach this heritage,

fearful that it will be called bigotry,

yet a nation that forgets its past may well be a nation that will eventually

exist only in history.

Retaining valuable aspects of culture is critical to develop a proper pride in one's country

and its achievements.

This does not equate to disrespecting other nations or cultures, but valuing one's own.

It is however difficult to ignore the erosion in the western cultural base.

In all manner of things from the work ethic, simple rules of politeness, protocols when

meeting people, actions of respect to elders, how we dress for school, or even how teachers

or persons of authority are addressed: the decay of traditional values is evident.

The veneer of civilization is very thin, and traditions, protocols and accepted established

expressions of polite behaviour, if lost or not respected, bode ill for the future of

such a society.

It is interesting to see what is happening in other cultures.

For example in present day China a great deal of emphasis is being placed on the maintenance

of the ancient traditions of respect and politeness.

The writings of Confucius, a government administrator of 500 BC, are again being taught in all Chinese schools

The Cultural Revolution, that began in 1966, tried to extinguish the ideas of the past,

and especially those of Confucius.

Yet the new leadership of China has realized the importance of standards and moral education.

The mere fact that the Chinese government has Chinese culture being represented around the

world by Confucius Institutes, is a testimony to the importance China is placing on Confucian values,

and the critical role China sees for these traditions.

In, August 2009, I was present in Beijing, when a great Chinese scholar

and former Vice Chair of the National Congress, Dr. Xu Jia Lu, stated to an assembly of the leaders of

Chinese educational systems: "I charge you to make our young boys into strong and gentle

men, and our young girls into gracious ladies."

This charge was well received and is being implemented in Chinese schools as they strive

to re-establish links to ancient China in the context of the new.

It is realized by the leadership of the nation that this is necessary to build a strong,

peaceful and united nation.

This is a great lesson we can learn: the valuing of the past and the greatness of the

ideas upon which a society is predicated must be preserved if that society is to thrive.

China now understands the value of a society united in a common set of values, morals and

social traditions.

The rapid modern ascent of that nation and the new found stability and prosperity of

China, is a testimony to the wisdom of the current government's approach.

Here in Canada we need to start to think of the implications of allowing a continued erosion

of our heritage.

We might do well to consider the traditions, history and lessons that were miraculously

preserved and passed on for millennia in a book which heavily influenced western civilization.

The text known as the Bible is the source of most of our laws.

Perhaps it is time to rediscover the roots of western culture.

Big Ben is Cracked! Here is Why, When and How | London Landmarks - Duration: 4:19.

Hello everybody you're watching Curious Pavel,

we have another video for you.

We're talking about Big Ben...

again.

This time we'll talk about the difficulties they had

because they had difficulties.

Nice!

So you already know, at least you should know, from

the previous video that Big Ben is

the name of the bell. If you haven't check

the video, go and do it.

Let's talk a little bit about the bell.

The year is 1856. If you remember 1856 is

the year that the Crimean War has ended.

We have a video about that as well.

Sixteen white horses are bringing the

bell here in London. Everybody is on the

streets, cheering, happy. Big event. The bell is

placed in New Palace Yard. It's that small park

right in front of the

tower. It's tested every day for 1 years. Now,

as mentioned in the previous video the

bell is stationary. A hammer hits the

bell. So the bell is 16 tonnes

which is more than two tonnes

from what was expected. So the engineers

decided to double, almost doubled the

size of the hammer and with that hammer

eventually, after one year testing, the

bell cracks. But the crack is like 1.2

meters. It's like the mother of crack and it's

irreparable so they send the Bell to

Whitechapel, here in London, they melt it down

and they make a new one. Next year, 1858,

the bell is ready. Now it's 13 and a half

tonnes. The bell comes here and it's ready to be

installed but it doesn't fit in the tower.

So what they do, this is the door of the

tower, what they do they decide to turn

the bell like that, put it inside and lift

it up. It takes them 30 hours to do so.

11 July 1859 the bell rings for the

first time.

Guess what happens few months later:

it cracks again!

So what they do is they just don't do

anything. They didn't know what to do.

It took them 30 hours to bring it up and the bell

stayed silent for 4 years.

Eventually they came up with the idea.

This track smaller and it's at the

bottom of the bell. So this time they

reduced the size of the hammer, they

turned the bell around (so the crack was

where the hammer was hitting) so they

turn them around so the crack stays on the

other side and they make a square on top

of the crack so the crack doesn't spread.

The bell is cracked.

They didn't change it, it still stays like that.

Alright that's about it.

Really so many things to be said about Big Ben
