Your organization's data, applications, and customizations reside in a unique software stack called an instance.

Here, we're logged into our ServiceNow instance as system administrator.

This is the system administration homepage.

Access to the instance's features and capabilities is controlled by roles, and the admin role has access to all system features, functions, and data.

The homepage you see when you log in depends on your roles and how your instance is configured.

The widgets on this homepage provide shortcuts to features admins use immediately for a new instance, or frequently.

And the application navigator provides access to all applications and modules available to the logged-in user.

One of the system administrator's responsibilities is to assign roles to users.

There are many roles—157 in our instance—to control even subtle differences in user access.

And more can be added.

An individual user may be given multiple roles, or may have no role at all.

Here's the admin role.

There are also roles for approvers…

…Knowledge base admins and managers…

…And itil service desk technicians, who carry out tasks related to incidents, problems, and changes.

Some users don't have any role.

Here, we're logged in as one such user, Joe Employee.

Even without a role, we can do many things in the system.

…Or ask a question.

And the service catalog offers even more choices.

For example, we could order hardware, software…

…Or services, such as documentation, printing, or shipping.

Right now, we're having an issue with wifi, so we need to get help with that.

Sometimes, information is available to help complete the form.

When done, we just submit it.

We can view our incidents here on our homepage…

…And also check on requested items.

Earlier, we ordered a large screen monitor.

This displays the workflow stages and tells us the status of our request.

It looks like it's been approved.

Regardless of your role, if you ever need help, just click the help icon to see available options.

Here, we're logged in as an ITIL user, and this is the ITIL Homepage, which is designed for service desk technicians.

Users with at least one role can see a customized homepage when logging in.

These homepages are all configurable by system administrators to display what is of most interest to users with a particular role.

The itil user's homepage includes gauges and widgets that service desk technicians need, to do their jobs...

…And of course all the applications and modules available to users with that role.

Individual users can personalize these pages.

We've added Unassigned Incidents and Assigned to Me to the top for quick access.

The ITIL user's job is to resolve incidents.

Let's see how we might do that with Joe Employee's wifi incident.

We set the Category and Subcategory, and update the State.

The system can automatically assign incidents to groups, individual users, or both.

But in this case it didn't, so we'll assign it to ourselves…

…Propose a solution…

…And update the record.

Joe Employee receives an email notification with the note we added.

He can update the incident record directly or by replying to the email message, to let us know whether or not that solution worked.

Here, we can easily track that incident and all others assigned to us…

And get them resolved as quickly as possible!

Minnesota Sen. Al Franken called President Trump �racist� over the weekend for referring

to Sen. Elizabeth Warren � who claims to be part Native American � as �Pocahontas.�

Left unmentioned, however, is Sen. Franken�s own history of using ugly and offensive language

regarding women and minorities.

While speaking at the White House Correspondents Dinner in 1996, Franken �ridiculed [Gingrich]

with a joke about his daughter�s first menstrual period,� The New York Post�s Deborah Orin

reported at the time.

The joke was so out-of-bounds that then-Vice President Al Gore personally walked over to

Gingrich�s table with an apology, The Weekly Standard noted after the dinner, adding: �Soon

after, Gingrich encountered Franken and told him that, were Gingrich not a public figure,

he�d have punched the comic out.�

As a writer and comic for Saturday Night Live, Franken helped craft a racist skit advertising

a fake toothpaste called �Tarbrush,� meant to darken black people�s white teeth, according

to the book �Saturday Night: A Backstage History of Saturday Night Live� by Doug

Hill and Jeff Weingrad.

�One sketch written for Garrett was a parody commercial for a toothpaste called �Tarbrush,�

which darkened blacks� supposedly shiny white teeth,� Hill and Weingrad write, adding

that two black technicians on the show reportedly walked out due to how offensive the skit was.

�We relied on [Morris] to bring some blackness to the show,� Franken told the authors.

ENERGY UPDATE � MIND GAMES With Ego And The Heart.

Part 1 spoke of Generational �wounding� that has come through for many and is overflowing

or �spilling out� on/with others, where close relationships are concerned.

And that for many souls that are close, they are finding that they are coming from two

different �tangents/worlds� now�due to those who have done the deep �inner work/unraveling

and are coming from their hearts with faith in their connection to Source � as part

of who they are and needing to do as part of their ascension and those that are coming

from ego/the head and logic and not feeling from their hearts with generational �issues�

coming to the fore, which is spilling over onto those close to them and not having faith

or trust in their Source/Spirit connection.

There is a 5min video that was posted yesterday on the Blue Beyond (BB) on this that came

through, yet I will share more here as well.

Some are finding that the person that they have known for some time is almost like a

�stranger� to them in many/some ways due to this �overflow� that is coming through.

As a lot of this is being done on the �astrals�.

As many have set their boundaries but are still feeling their �buttons� being pushed.

Not only in the human, that one needs to take a step back and feel into what is going on

for them but also it is �triggering� their shadow sides in the astrals as well � �above

and below.

Triggering parts of one�s shadow side/s, even if one has accepted and owned these.

Also triggering in the human where one is in the other persons energy field/space without

realizing as well.

There are so many variables to this due to how much one has cleared and healed in the

past as to what one is needing to heal from this interaction with a soul close to them.

I am going to share here about those who are feeling both without maybe realizing that

this is occurring.

As I am seeing it around me with many and especially females with their partners.

And strong females at that.

As this is really really �testing� or �pushing� females (or males) to come from

their feminine side and not the masculine.

As if they come from the masculine, it will only inflame or �clash� with the masculine

energy coming from the other person.

The Feminine energy is so much stronger in it�s gentleness, yet firmness.

Of re-setting one�s boundaries.

Of taking a �step-back� and looking at the situation from the outside looking in

and not from being IN the other persons space.

As often this is occurring without one realizing that they have shifted into the other persons

space, as with so much going on, it is very easy to do this.

It can help to see oneself and then a fence and the other person on the other side of

the fence, being the other side of your personal space.

And to then see or imagine you bringing your energy back into your personal space.

And each time you feel something �trigger� stop and ask yourself what is being triggered

within you.

Each and every time, if we do this, we can unravel what is actually being triggered within

for ourselves.

As a lot of times these are �mind games� that other souls are playing.

And somewhere within themselves they KNOW they are doing this.

As this is a form of protection for them, to not FEEL what is going on for them and

if we are in their space and �take this on� then we are doing the releasing for

them YET TO OUR DETRIMENT.

As one can only do or sustain this for so long, as it is very very taxing on ones energy.

So take a breath and a step back�see yourself on your �side of the fence��realize

that because you are coming from your heart, that you are needing to set new boundaries

with this, as the other soul is at this stage not able to, as they are dealing with so much

or have come from this space for so long, they are needing �time� to come from their

hearts and not their heads and to make a connection between Spirit and Soul.

As when and if they do in this lifetime is up to THEM and what they are needing to learn

for their Souls ascension and Divine Journey.

You are really only �accountable� for yourself.

You are to be the guiding light in this situation.

And did I hear a moan of �really� just then?

As some may not like to hear this, as they are going through so much in their own lives

and this seems like �just another thing they need to do�.

Remember, this is part of your soul contract that you chose before you came here.

As once one accepts the bigger picture of what is going on then one is able to re-claim

their Inner Strength and Self-Empowerment through this experience.

As that is what this is about underneath.

Re-claiming our inner strength and power from ALL.

This is a brief post that was written on the 4th of February that was shared on the Blue

I am guided to share here now as this so relates to this post:

Balance masculine and feminine and

Balance with the Divine and

Then Balance with humanity and the energies going on as well

Of feeling �not feeling quite right�

Not the same as before

Feeling very volatile, as the masculine is balancing out with the feminine.

And for those who have in the past �run� on this or needed to utilise this energy to

cope and manage through past traumas/abuse, this will arise or be felt more strongly.

This is different as in a huge layer and then another and then another and so on where as

in the past one of these would come up at a time.

So again, this is NEW.

And it is not like how we were in the past as we are stronger, yet again.

Leading up to this has come past/old anger/rage and volatility�.and while going through

this, it will feel like �this doesn�t make sense��as it doesn�t while we are

in it.

Add to that, that this is again a new way of ascension of this years energies.

And this was a slow build up, that crept up�and no matter what one did or said to oneself,

this still needed to arise.

As this is such a deep purging of the older masculine energy, a big push through.

Monitoring and being �aware� is the greatest gift one can give themselves.

microfiber cloth you got these dust

removal stickers which i haven't used as

you can see and installation guide which

no one wiII be interested so i have

been using the screen protector already

and i'll just show you this real quick

now you can see the edge there have to bring that in

to focus let me move that out the way that

might help focus the camera here you go thats

better so as you can see there very

nicely made this screen protector right to the

edges beautiful beautiful see that not

too thick it looks it looks nice the

way its done i'll bring this in here and try to

get some antiglare as you can see here look at

the cut out for the earpiece the sensor

absolutely perfect and the camera selfie

camera here that's actually covered as

well with clear glass and there's

absolutely no issues at all with the

front facing camera with that as you can

see the bottom chins covered as well

i've got this light reflecting on it gives

you a better sort of look at it not ideal

but there you go as you can see that now this

center part of the screen here the

visible part that's not actually stuck

down and see that there what is

actually stuck down is the chins and

these side pieces here very very easy to

apply trust me you don't need me to

demonstrate it what I did was i put on one of

my spigen cases the rugged

armor and the screen protector fits

perfectly bang into the centre and look

at the fitment on that perfect and it's got

rounded edges as well so it's rounded

edges you can pretty much use any case

on this and it works let me unlock the

phone so you can see the transparency look at

the transparency on that absolutely

fantastic

and no issues with touch sensitivity

at all you see there perfect absolutely

perfect

now let me off this you can see there

is no rainbowing on here at all

now let me clear this up

there are some others that are full

coverage like this one but they have

these little dimples on the visible part of the

screen which you can't really see when

you're using the device but if your using

VR they will show up spigen i believe

is the only one that doesn't have those

little dimples so you will not have any

issues with VR there's like i

said there's no rainbowing nothing

My name is Ashley Lauterbauch and I am a

first generation student here at Georgia

State University. My major is psychology

and I plan to graduate in December of

2017. I'm actually really involved here

on campus, I work as an Honors College

ambassador as well as in a research lab. My

sister and I are actually the first in my

family to attend college and being in the

first generation in my family to pursue

higher education has allowed so many

doors to open for me that I know my parents

never had the chance, for example I get

to study developmental psychology where

I really hope to make an impact on

children and helping with mental

disorders.

I think it's really important for alumni

and other members of the community to

donate to really help students like myself.

I know that a lot of scholarships I've

received have actually been through alumni

support. At the end of the day every

little bit really does help students

achieve their goals.

Hi my name is Terrance Rogers and I'm from the class of 2010 and I'm Kyle Stapleton,

a double panther from the classes of 2009

and 2012. We are so excited to be back

here on campus to launch 30 for 30. A brand

new crowdfunding initiative in honor of

our 30th birthdays. It's going to help

raise money for scholarships for

first-generation college students,

just like my buddy Terrance here. So like Kyle was

saying I'm a first-generation college

student and Kyle and I will come from

working-class families, so we understand

the importance of scholarships can help

students get to the university. Back when I

was as Georgia State there was no way that I would

have been able to finish had it not been

for scholarships from many generous donors and

scholarships also help fund my first time to

be able to travel and go away from the

country when I did study abroad, so I

know firsthand how these scholarships can

help make a huge impact. Back in 2009

I helped to start the my birthday fundraiser

initiative and since our 22nd birthdays we've both

been donating our birthday money to help go

towards different charities and this

year like Kyle was saying we're going 30 for 30.

For our 30th birthday we're looking to raise $30,000.

Now we know what you're thinking,

that sounds like a lot, but what we've

learned from our fundraising days is

that if we pool our collective

resources and our energy we are able to

make a much larger impact than young

people like us would be able to make on

her own in this season of life. And again

like Kyle was saying we know that thirty

thousand dollars is a lot but we know if we're able to

come to you and you're

able to come to us and we're coming together

we can help make this goal happen, so no

matter how much you want to give, or how

much you can give $30, $300, or even $3,000 if you can

make it work.

We feel like coming together

we'll be able to make this happen and

help change the life of a deserving

first-generation college student and

many students to come, so thank you and

hopefully you can help us go 30 for 30,

Support from alumni and other members of

the community can really help inspire

the next generation, for example my

younger sister probably never even

imagined going to college and I know that

seeing me actually reap the benefits of

Speech on marriage equality and support for LGBTIQ - Duration: 7:25.

This is an important motion that I am proud to support and I thank my colleague Mr Pettersson

for putting it today.

It goes without saying that people who identify as LGBTIQ are valuable and equal members of

our community.

This should be reflected in our laws, our institutional frameworks and our social norms.

We each have a role in achieving this, but none more so than the Government.

Madam Speaker, let me read you a list.

All these nations have something in common.

Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Canada, South Africa, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Iceland,

Argentina, Denmark, Brazil, France, Uruguay, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales,

United States, Luxembourg and Colombia.

All of these countries have legalised same-sex marriage and next month Finland will also

join their ranks.

Their Governments have listened to their people and have done the right thing.

They have recognised that no one should be barred from this important civil institution

because of their sexual orientation.

It is simply a matter of respect and equality before the law.

Meanwhile in Australia, our Federal Government is out of the step with the majority of Australians.

It refuses to listen, instead choosing to dither, delay and, in some ranks, outright

oppose.

For however long this continues, Madam Speaker, I am proud that the ACT Government will continue

to make our own position on marriage equality clear and continue to lead the way by: updating

our statute books to remove discrimination; offering support services and programs to

the LGBTIQ community; and promoting attitudes of acceptance in our society.

Progressive legislative changes in the ACT reflect and respect our diverse community.

In recent years we have reviewed our statute books and made amendments to remove provisions

that were discriminatory towards the LGBTIQ community.

We have also updated the definition of 'intersex' and broadened the circumstances in which intersex

people are able to formally change their legal status.

We legally recognise same-sex relationships, and civil partnership legislation means that

same-sex couples are treated the same as married couples under territory law.

Just yesterday we furthered broadened the criteria for civil unions by passing laws

which amended the Civil Unions Act to allow the automatic recognition of formally recognised

overseas or interstate same-sex relationships.

This is a timely change, as the demands of work and family, and graces of online communication,

mean relationships now frequently cross borders.

Such social changes should not unfairly prejudice LGBTIQ relationships.

Madam Speaker, I'm equally proud that we continue to speak out against federal Bills

which will further entrench institutional and social exclusion of the LGBTIQ community.

In our submission to the Federal Senate Select Committee on the Exposure Draft of the Same-Sex

Marriage Bill we have advocated for a free parliamentary vote on marriage equality.

Australians support a free vote on marriage equality, and so do we.

In the ACT we have made other changes so that LGBTIQ people can participate fully and freely

in civic life.

For example, we all need to show banks, employers and schools our identity documents from time

to time.

These documents should accurately reflect our gender and our families, regardless of

our sexual orientation and gender identity.

Bureaucracy shouldn't be a roadblock to the LGBTIQ community officially documenting

their gender identity and family relationships.

That's why we allow intersex, transgender and gender diverse people to have their gender

identity officially documented.

We also recognise interstate parentage orders, give parents greater choice as to how they

are referenced on a child's birth certificate, and provide flexibility in documenting name

changes.

These are practical steps that have a real impact.

We have established the Office of LGBTIQ Affairs as a central point within Government for coordination

and engagement with the LGBTIQ community.

We also continue to send a strong message of acceptance and celebration by actively

supporting LGBTIQ public events and activities across Canberra such as SpringOUT.

As we brighten the city with rainbow today, we send a message we hear echoed from around

Canberra – we celebrate our diversity.

Very importantly, the ACT Government has also shown leadership by stepping in to fund the

Safe Schools program here in the ACT.

School can be a social minefield for anyone.

For youth who are figuring out their gender identity and sexual orientation, it can be

especially tough.

It is critical that these youth feel supported to self-determine and are free in their self-expression,

without fear of bullying or harassment.

We are bolstering the support networks in our schools, and funding early intervention

and prevention programs to educate all of our youth about LGBTIQ issues.

We are also conscious that, for our young people, it's the day-to-day things that

can make a big difference in the classroom and on the oval.

The Education Directorate is currently revising the Uniform Policy, Procedure and Guidelines

after receiving advice from the LGBTIQ Ministerial Advisory Council on more inclusive policies.

We also support the Play by the Rules and Fair Go, Sport programs to change negative

attitudes and promote inclusion in the sporting arena.

We want to convey to all of our young people that when it comes to sexual orientation and

gender identity, there is no right or wrong.

Our LGBTIQ friends, family and colleagues deserve acceptance and respect.

The ACT Government fully supports the LGBTIQ community, and is committed to fostering equality

at every level - from grass-roots initiatives through to our schools, governance structures

and legislation.
