Waching daily Feb 14 2017

that just went around with a hat that she wanted to put on you to take a picture with.

Me and Meteos did, like, the heart thing together because she was like forcing it.

I mean, it wasn't like anything nice done for me.

I mean, I've gotten cookies a few times from one fan.

I think she actually.

It was during Worlds, where we couldn't go out to see fans and she asked the manager

to bring cookies up.

I never really said it.

It was just like, "You guys were doing terribly, Sneaky.

What would you think about, you know, joining a different team?"

Like, I mean, yeah, we're like 8th place LCS right now.

That was 2015 Summer, where we barely made it into the spot that isn't relegated so we

kept our circuit points.

That was the only time I've ever even considered it, and it

wasn't even anything past that.

It was literally Riot asking me that question.

So I've never really considered leaving C9, honestly.

It would be a really weird experience for sure.

I guess all of my members of the original roster have experienced it, you know.

Meteos left and came back a few times.

Hai did the same thing.

Lemon and Balls recently only moved to the FlyQuest team, but that was also a weird experience

I think for them, because I don't know if they were really sure if they're going to

play or not.

It was just kind of, "we're playing the Challenger thing," and then it ended up

I've been around them for such a long time.

I kind of knew what they'd be doing, you know?

Hai is always really commanding in the game.

Lemon always has a lot of strategical questions, like, what we should be doing.

I know he had a lot of strong level-ones he likes doing.

He's like obsessed with pick/ban, you know, he has the notebook.

He likes doing it.

I don't know if he'd ever really want to give control up of pick/ban to anyone when

he's on a team.

So I miss the guys for sure.

It was pretty interesting.

I didn't expect that at all, that they'd be able to bring the game back to 20 seconds

before the bug happened.

I think it's actually a really nice feature that exists in Dota, I think.

I'm fairly sure.

I've never actually seen it, but I've heard of it.

And it's pretty insane, because if we had to do a remake, we would have had to do completely

new pick/bans, and that means they could go for, like, a Zilean ban instead of the Kennen

ban second phase, which kind of just ruins the team's plans.

But if you go in a remake where you just drop back 30 seconds, it's like, "Wow, okay.

Well that bug that just happened probably isn't going to happen, unless it's just completely

broken champion."

So yeah, it felt pretty good

like, after my playing career.

I don't, I'm not entirely sure if coaching is to like too viable because it's actually

really hard to do,

I think, to be a really good coach.

I don't think it's just, you know, look at replays, just, you know,

"you guys screwed up here," but you kind of have to have the answer yourself to

these plays.

Say you watch your team do a bad play near Dragon or something.

You have to have an answer, like, what should they be doing instead.

And that kind of thing.

And I think Reapered does that really well right now.

He's been around for such a long time in the game--League--that he's built up a ton of experience,

and, you know, he's been on a bunch of Korean teams that he's done pretty well with.

So he has a lot of knowledge, and I think it would be really hard for me but, I mean, I would

maybe try it out.

Lemon kind of did that when he retired.

It was an interesting experience.

It's kind of what I was talking about where, like, you just going into a match like, you

know, "you guys screwed up here, here, here."

It's not the worst.

But it's just, like, you've got to have that extra level of knowledge about the game.

I mean, you kind of have to be a little mean with it, like a little strict, because if

you're super light about it, then they don't really take you seriously, the players.

They'll be like, "yeah I know, I know, I know," and blow it off as if

it didn't really matter.

But a lot of these mistakes do add up in the game, and you kind of have to impound that into

your players.

Look Who Jess Has Cooking Her Valentine's Dinner! | Season 6 Ep. 16 | NEW GIRL - Duration: 1:42.

Well, the only Valentine in this pile is for yours truly.

Someone very crafty made it.

She sent a valentine to herself.

Now, you understand this is sad?

It's Valentine's Day, so Jess is the only

single person in the loft, and she's

going to clean out her purse.

I'm alone.

Cause it's the day that rubs the salt

in the wound of heartbreak.

I have a great day planned.

I'm finally going to use the celebrity chef dinner

that I won at the auction.

So is it just you?

Yep.

I'm one of the best chefs in the world,

so I need an audience.

She's a fussy eater, and I'm a great chef.

Are you sad cause you're on your own on Valentine's night?

Don't you start with me, Gordon Ramsay.

I'm having just a great time.

Liar!

Sorry.

Bad habit.

Jess is really impressed with Gordon Ramsay's

ability to psychoanalyze her.

Scallops-- aren't for liars.

Watching that bubbly character that Zoe plays is quite nice,

because having done over 100 episodes of Kitchen Nightmares,

I actually feel like I'm Dr. Ramsay.

Why are you sad?

I'm not sad.

Then what are you?

I'm mad!

There it is.

I can't believe he's here.

I'm a huge fan of both his food, and his TV shows.

He's really funny, and really good on the show.

Up close and personal with Zoe is quite unique.

She's a talented girl, but she knows how to set it on.

Brilliant!

Parenting SA: Sleep and toddlers - Duration: 7:44.

Hello there, my name is Sarah Blunden.

I am a sleep researcher and a clinical psychologist and I work with children, teens and their

families around sleep.

I am going to give you some helpful hints today about sleep and toddlers.

When trying to understand about sleep and toddlers it is helpful to understand about

their development in general.

Toddlers are in the time of their life when they are searching for more independence.

They want to be separate from their parents but they really want to be with their parents.

So it is a time of a lot of behaviour change.

Young toddlers need somewhere between 12 and 14 hours sleep in a 24 hour period.

That means overnight as well as the daytime naps.

An older toddler may need somewhere between 10 and 13 hours over that period, again

between the night time sleep and daytime naps.

And the reason why that is not very precise is because every child is actually very different

and therefore we have a range of sleep rather than a magic number.

Of course as toddlers get older their sleep will decrease little by little, and usually

by age of 5, when toddlers are going to school, they won't be napping at all.

Probably the best way to find out whether your toddler is sleeping well enough is to

see what they feel like when they wake up in the morning.

If they wake up and they are bright eyed and bushy tailed, and they are ready to take on

the day, and they are happy, they have probably slept enough.

I think parents can probably tell if the toddler wakes up and they are a bit grumpy and tired.

Then they haven't slept enough.

The most common type of sleep problems in toddlers revolve around really the fact that

toddlers do not want to sleep by themselves.

They don't want to be alone at night time and so they often have bedtime refusal, bedtime

resistance and tantrum behaviour at bedtime.

This is because they do not want to be by themselves.

Accompanying that problem might be that parents would stay with the child until they get to sleep,

or the child might sleep in Mum and Dad's bed,

or there might be something or someone else that might stay with the toddler to keep them asleep.

And that means that the toddler depends on those things to be able to get to sleep.

Now of course that happens at the beginning of the night but also during the night when

they wake up.

One of the big problems that parents perceive in toddlers is the fact that they wake up

a lot at night, but that actually is very normal.

Toddlers wake up a lot overnight and so it's not really the problem of waking up, it's

actually what happens when the toddler wakes up.

Parents need to re-establish those same associations overnight. Such as

perhaps them, or perhaps a bottle or even a breast feed to sleep.

Another major problem that toddlers have in sleep is when they have scary dreams and nightmares,

or when they have perhaps sleep talking and sleep walking.

When a toddler wakes from a scary dream or nightmare they will need comfort from parents

because they have had a scary dream and they don't understand the difference between reality

and a dream.

One of the difficulties is telling the difference between nightmares and night terrors.

In fact night terrors are the same as sleep talking and sleep walking, only just worst.

A night terror, or sleep walking or sleep talking, happens when a child is in very deep

sleep and a night terror or sleep walk is a phenomena that happens during that deep sleep.

When parents try and comfort their child the child actually won't respond and that is

because they are very much asleep.

That is very different to a nightmare which is a dream.

A child will wake, be frightened and require comfort.

In a night terror that often won't work.

If your child is having what you think might be a night terror, the best way to tell is

to stand next to the child, make sure they are safe, stand with them, but if they do

not respond to your presence they are probably not awake.

In which case they probably are having a night terror, and if you stand next to them and

keep them safe they most probably will go back to sleep by themselves.

One of the big problems at this age of course is that toddlers become fearful at night and those

toddlers need your help to be able to be brave enough to sleep by themselves.

A final problem with toddler sleep is when their bedtimes or their wake times is actually quite

different from day to day.

It is really important that the sleep times and wake times stay quite the same.

If we have a toddler who sleeps at 7 o'clock one night and 9 o'clock the next night,

it is very unhelpful for sleep and for sleep health.

Sleep is very important for all areas of general health.

One of the main areas that is affected by poor sleep in toddlers is cognition.

This is their thinking, their learning, how they remember, how they concentrate, how they

problem solve.

Another area that is affected when toddlers do not get enough sleep is emotional.

Their emotions become very volatile, they are irritable, they can be aggressive,

they can be hyperactive, they can't concentrate and they certainly can't make a decision.

We know problem solving and decision making in toddlers is difficult anyway.

The third area that is affected by poor sleep in a toddler is behaviour.

Their behaviour can become more erratic, more irritable, they can become hyperactive, they

can even become aggressive.

The final area that is affected when toddlers do not get enough sleep is physical activity.

They tend to have more accidents, they tend to break more bones, they find themselves

at the doctor more often and they are more likely to be overweight, eat junk food and

not do physical activities.

So what can you do to try and help your toddler get good sleep?

The first thing is to probably try and help your toddler be an independent sleeper so

they can learn to self sooth and get to sleep without you, or any other thing that they

can't do themselves.

They need your help and support to do that because they might be frightened and they

are not feeling very brave, they want to be with you.

We can teach our toddlers how to sleep alone and independently just like we can teach them

to brush their teeth.

If a parent is staying with a child to go to sleep then we can withdraw from their room

slowly and surely, rewarding them for their efforts to be brave while they are waiting.

If they need something, like perhaps a bottle to get to sleep, perhaps we can help them

to help themselves to their own little sippy cup.

They then become more independent.

They like that and we reward them for their braveness.

We have to help our toddlers to have regular sleep patterns, that their bedtimes and wake times

are fairly similar from day to day, and from morning to morning.

Having a calming and soothing bedtime routine is very important, and that could be something

like having a bath, going to the bedroom, reading some books, lying on the bed together

and telling some stories.

So in summary sleep is very important for toddlers.

The amount of sleep they need changes as they get older and varies from child to child.

Sleep is very important for cognition, emotions, behaviour and physical activity.

If you think your child has a sleep problem, get some help.

Minister for Social Services - Closing the Gap 2017 - Duration: 2:57.

Closing the Gap for Indigenous Australians living with a disability is a priority for

the Australian Government.

Indigenous Australians experience disability at more than twice the rate of non-Indigenous Australians.

We are working in partnership with the community through the National Disability Insurance

Scheme to deliver support that is culturally appropriate and we know it's making a positive

contribution to the lives of Indigenous Australians.

The NDIS is now supporting more than three-thousand Indigenous Australians who have a permanent

and significant disability.

Another key Government focus for us is making sure Indigenous children are safe - and enjoy

the same opportunities that other Australians enjoy.

Keeping families together and reducing the number of Indigenous children entering the

child protection system are vital parts of the National Framework for Protecting Australia's

Children, which is being implemented in close co-operation with the states and territories

as well as non-government partners.

Through the Third Action Plan of the National Framework we' ve committed to giving sustained

attention to improving outcomes for Indigenous children, with a particular focus on supporting

children in the early years to give them the best start in life.

As an example, the new "Building Capacity in Australian Parents" trial, will work

with communities to improve parenting skills and includes a focus on Indigenous parents

and families.

Reducing the extent of family violence against women and their children is another priority

area for the Australian Government.

We all know the terrible statistics – that Indigenous women and girls are 34 times more

likely to be hospitalised due to family violence-related assaults than non-Indigenous women and girls - and are

up to 3.7 times more likely than other women to be a victim of sexual violence.

This absolutely must stop.

The Australian Government, along with all state and territory governments, have come

together to fund a $30 million campaign to help break the cycle of violence against Australian women,

including Indigenous Australians.

In addition, the Third Action Plan of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women

and their Children has a particular emphasis on Indigenous family violence with support

for women and children that is being developed in partnership with Indigenous communities

Community driven and community led - as it should be.

This year is the 10th anniversary of a Longitudinal Study of Indigenous Children known as

"Footprints in Time".

More than 2,500 Indigenous parents and children participate in this survey each year and we

thank them for their ongoing contribution.

The data collected through Footprints in Time reinforces the importance of early childhood

education and care programs to improve cognitive and

developmental outcomes among Indigenous children.

The contribution from these families enables us to improve our understanding of issues

faced by Indigenous children, families and communities so that together, we can ensure

that we are on the right path to Closing the Gap.

Alien Spaceship moving out of funnel cloud

A UFO emerging from a cloud or arriving via a wormhole, this may be true but there is

a more logical explanation for what photographer Helio C. Vital from Rio de Janeiro captured

on February 7, 2017.

Meteorologists call this type of cloud a tuba - a swirling mass of moist air that can hang

down from an active thunderstorm.

A tuba that touches the ground gets a new name: tornado, said spaceweather.

This tuba which appeared about a half hour before sunset was part of a thunderstorm cell

that was approaching.

Fortunately this tuba did not reach the ground.

Minister for Education and Training - Closing the Gap 2017 - Duration: 1:26.

With the publication of the 2017 Closing the Gap Report, I've of course been reflecting

closely on what that means in the Education portfolio.

I'm pleased to see that by working together, Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians,

governments of all stripes in states and territories, and of course community groups,

we've made some good gains.

Good gains in seeing more young students improve their literacy and reading skills in the early years.

Good gains in getting more young kids enrolled in preschool activities in the early education

that's so essential to prepare them for school.

Gains in terms of people successfully completing Year 12, and indeed gains in terms of

higher education participation.

But there's still a lot more to be done.

We're not meeting many of the targets, and we need to really focus our efforts, particularly

on ensuring attendance at early education and preschool, not just enrolment.

On ensuring attendance at school, because if you're not actually there at school,

then we're going to really struggle to make the further gains required in literacy and

numeracy skills,

as well as the uplift we want to see in Year 12 attainment again, and further still into

higher education participation.

I'm committed, the Turnbull Government's committed, to working with Indigenous Australia

to make sure we get the best possible results over coming years.

Work together; address these problems; get solutions.

Minister for Health and Minister for Sport - Closing the Gap 2017 - Duration: 3:17.

It's a genuine honour to have the role of Minister for Health and for Sport.

One of my fundamental priorities is Indigenous Health and working and helping to close the gap.

Its a great privilege to have Ken Wyatt, Australia's first Indigenous Minister as the Minister

responsible not just for Aged Care, but in particular for Indigenous Health.

But we will work as a team. This is something that's fundamentally important.

Closing the Gap is a job which will not be done until the gap is actually closed.

So we've seen significant progress, we've seen Indigenous men's life expectancy improve by 1.6 years

We've seen Indigenous women's life expectancy improve by 0.6 years.

Real steps forward, but not enough.

There's a lot more to be done.

We've also seen very significant decreases in mortality or the tragic and premature loss

of life from circulatory conditions, from respiratory conditions, overwhelmingly associated

with high smoking rates.

We've seen a reduction in smoking rates and perhaps most importantly, we've seen an almost

one third drop in child mortality, the tragic loss of children between 0 and 5.

So a very, very important improvement, but none of these are yet at parity.

None of these are in line with the broader Australian population, and until that is done

our work isn't done.

So going forwards on the positive agenda.

What Ken and I want to do is work very much on the participation or preventive health focus

And that is to bring young people into sport.

Whether it's through swimming, or football, or netball. To give them that sense of healthy

activity and all of that participation, and the culture and the discipline

which come with that.

We want to work on their eating habit, and we want to work on addressing those communities

and individuals who've suffered from substance of some form or other.

These are fundamentally important tasks which are achievable.

Which we do believe we can make progress on, and if we can do that then we can make further

inroads and decrease the gap on life expectancy, increase life expectancy, as I say we've

had a a life expectancy increase for males of one and a half years, and 0.6 years for women.

But more is to be done.

And until that gap is fully closed, and there's no such thing as a gap, our work will not

be done and so I recommit, along with the magnificent Ken Wyatt to making Indigenous Health one

of our fundamental priorities.

I thank you and I wish you a genuinely successful and happy 2017.

Minister for Indigenous Affairs - Closing the Gap 2017 - Duration: 2:02.

Hello – it's Nigel Scullion, I'm the Minister for

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

I have the best job – it's allowed me to travel across the whole of this great country to work

in partnership with so many good, hard-working Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

who are making a positive difference in the lives of their own mob.

And I have to say, it's been a real honour working alongside these people.

Our Government's priorities are the same as the hopes and aspirations of the people who I've met.

Firstly, we're investing in the future by making sure kids go to school.

And a big "hello" out there to all the mums dads and the other carers across urban,

regional and remote Australia who are making sure their kids make it to school every single day.

Secondly, we're building people's sense of self-respect and contribution – by providing jobs

And congratulations to the 60 First Australians who will get a job today – you join the

60 who got a job yesterday, and the 60 who got a job the day before that.

Our Government is getting 60 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians into jobs

every single day.

Thirdly, we're safeguarding the future of the children, the women and the men of the oldest

continuous culture on the earth by making sure their lives are safe from harm.

For me, this means two things.

I will do all I can to join with you and the thousands of others to end domestic violence and the

destruction and heartache that this brings.

And I will do all I can to re-engage the disconnected youth – these wonderful young people have an important

contribution to make to the nation and to their communities

and we should be doing all that we can to help them reach that potential.

There's always more to be done.

But we can do this

So let's do it together.
