Waching daily Feb 1 2017

-All right, this is it,

set up your gear, and listen.

-This night, you're going to the Maze Bank Tower.

-Your mission it's to wipe out specific mobs

in specific floors.

-This building it's tall as hell

so you better know where to go.

-Listen, your main target

remains anonymous. He's the owner of that tower,

for so he will be located at the top of the building,

presumably.

-You still have to examine the floors we asigned for you

very carefully.

-Ready? Ok.

-Look, the tower contains 32 floors.

-You're going at four of them.

-With the elevator, get up there and erase the entire place as fast as you can.

-You're assigned to the 3rd floor, the 14th floor,

the 21st floor, and at last,

the last floor, which is the 32th, obviously.

-Your second objective, after the assassination,

you need to retrieve a bag, hidden within the last floor.

-Its appearance, it's olive green, has an H on it, very easy to find,

you can do it.

-After you found the bag, you better start planning

how the hell are you gonna get out of there before something terrible happens,

and one big example, it's the cops. Just try to lose them if you're caught.

-Just don't bring them around here, if you're going to escape...

-I know you can do it... I count on you, you're a professional.

-You come in here...

... you're welcome.

-So...

... Do your magic.

-That wraps up almost everything.

-I hope you for the best, and...

see ya later Biker... I'm counting on you.

Testing Medibang Paint [ Voice Over ] - Duration: 15:22.

Hi everyone! How are you?

As you may guess today's speedpaint is a Voice Over. I felt like talking to you all for a bit :)

You can also see that today I'm not using Paint Tool SAI as I usually do

For this one I decided to try a program called Medibang Paint Pro.

So today I'll explain you some things about this program for you to know it a little better.

Medibang is a totally free drawing software

You can also use it on your phone/tablet.

I'll leave you the link of the official website in the description box

and you can check it later and read the instructions to download, install and use it.

It's a very light program, installation was really fast and easy.

To take full advantage of it you should create an account on their website

that way you'll be able to download lots of materials, brushes

or creating your own custom ones and then uploading them to the Internet

so other people can download and use them. That way we can share our knowledge with other artists.

I've tested Medibang using my old but loyal Wacom Bamboo Pen

and pressure worked perfecly fine. It doesn't seem to have big compatibility issues with graphic tablets.

Let's talk a bit about the brushes.

At first sight they may look a bit limited but as I said you can download more by creating an account.

And you can actually customize them a lot to fit your own taste and needs.

Brushes aren't located all over the left side of the screen (like in Photoshop)

You can find them by clicking on the Pen/Brush icon at the top, and then moving to the bottom box.

Okay, let's start by comenting the bad things I've found.

There were a few things I found uncomfortable from the beggining.

You can open several files at the same time but it won't let you move them along the workspace

so you can see more than 1 file at the same time.

So I couldn't have the reference of the character and my illustration open side by side at the same time.

However there's this very interesting window at the top left

It is literally a window where you can open any picture to have them as a reference

Hence the name... "Reference"

It still felt a bit weird for me to use it, but I must admit it is a nice thing that not every program has (like SAI).

And that way the lack of visualizing more than 1 file at the same time is less noticeable.

What more?... uhm...

Ah! It lacks of a... how could I say it? ...

Rotating Wheel?

Meaning it does have a button to rotate to the left and another one to rotate to the right

but it doesn't have a button to do both things at the same time.

(Maybe it does have it but I really couldn't find it or even configure it to my liking)

Again that is almost no noticeable because you can do it by using a bar that appears there

when you pass with your mouse over it.

Basically you just need to drag the bar to one side or another to rotate the canvas.

It's really easy.

But since I'm used to do it with the R on my keyboard it felt a bit uncomfortable having to do it on the screen.

The few options to edit colors, such as Brightness/Contrast and Hue/Saturation

also work slighlty different than they do on SAI.

They also felt a bit weird at first.

I think we can finally move to the positive things! ♥

The program is very light but that doesn't mean it is too simple!

It has Text tools, Ruler tools for perspective,

it can also save files in psd (photoshop) format

which is really handy if you need to export it to other programs

because nowadays most of the drawing programs can save and load .psd files

Stabilizer works well too, is very similar to the SAI one.

Both the Bucket Tool and the Magic Wand can recognize what's drawn on the picture right now

and use those parameters to select or fill certain parts of the drawing easily.

It's a similar option to the Selection Source that SAI has.

Comes with Shape Tools to make circles, polygons (SAI doesn't have any of these yet).

So it's a plus :)

There's also a tool to make Gradients like in Photoshop.

there's no such a thing on SAI for the time being.

On SAI you have to make them manually.

The brushes can achieve really big sizes.

Comes with 3 options for layers: one is to block the layer's limit which would be Preserve Opacity on SAI.

A clipping group option too.

and the third one allows you to block the layer totally to prevent you from modifying it by mistake.

Photoshop has this kind of option but SAI doesn't yet.

Comes with some Blending Modes for layers as well.

The usual ones like Multiply, Screen, Overlay, etc.

Don't expect it to have a huge list of modes xD

And also comes with a Gaussian Blur option. Again this feature is available on Photoshop but not SAI.

And what I like a LOT from Medibang is that is has an Auto-Save option!

You can set it to your liking so it auto-saves the file every 5, 10, 20 minutes...

Yeah some programs may do like temporary save files

to prevent you from loosing everything in case the program crashes.

But this is the first time I've ever seen a program that actually saves your file automatically.

Just like when you do it by yourself, but with this option the program does it for you.

I'm not saying we should forget about saving manually with this!

But I think it's very nice that there's an auto-save option

because I'm sure many of you have lost at least one or two drawings

just because one day you forgot to save for about 2 hours, the program crashed suddenly

and the drawing got destroyed uwu

At this point I had to switch to Paint Tool SAI to finish this piece.

Not because the program wasn't working well

but because I was getting tired of not knowing where everything was placed

and this was also a commission so I chose finishing it in a program I knew and work comfortably

rather than risking for the picture to be of a lower quality

because I didn't have enough experience to manage this program or because of the stress I was getting

by this lack of experience xD

So, let's sum things up!

Overall I think Medibang is a really good program.

It's pretty complete.

I'd say it's something in the middle of the simple, yet effective, Paint Tool SAI

and more complex drawing program like Clip Studio Paint or the well know Photoshop.

It's totally free which is really kind from them, specially for begginers that

are still learning how to use digital tools and don't want to spend too much money on certain things.

I know it also comes with tools and options to make Comics

but I haven't tried any of those so I can't say a thing about it.

But I wanted to let you know that it has some tools for that, which is already more than what SAI has currently.

The few bad things I've pointed out about the program

are all because of my personal preferences.

It's not like the program doesn't work well or the tools are bad or anything like that

I'm just used to work in a certain way, with certain tools and settings

so when changing to a new program things will be placed in a different way or work differently

and it's hard to get used to those changes at the beggining.

But overall I'd give Medibang a high grade!

Being a free program I did NOT expect it to be of any good.

but it met my expectations in the end.

And as you can see you can make great quality illustrations with Medibang.

If you're looking for your first digital drawing program

I'd totally recommend Medibang.

Or if you're looking for an alternative to the one you're currently using, I'd recommend it too.

By testing different programs you'll eventually find the one where you work more comfortably.

We're finished with the Medibang talk, but since I see there's still some time left

would you like for me to try to explain you my coloring method for a bit?

(since I get that requested a lot on my social media)

As I said, I will TRY. You know I'm not the best at explaining certain things uwu

As you may have noticed, lately I started to color my illustrations like this:

I make a preliminary shadow over each color layer.

It's kind of a simple shadow, sometimes imprecise too

and the color may not be the final one neither.

The function of this preliminary shadow

is that once everything is colored

I could tell if everything looks like I wanted or if something must be fixed.

If I don't like a certain part, I change it.

So once everything look good, I go back to every shadow layer

Click on the Preserve Opacity of that said layer.

So I can paint on the shadow layer without going farther than its limits

and then I add more color, darkness...

I try to give it more expressiveness or depth to each shadow.

It's not necessary to use a darker color

you can also use a more saturated color

or quite the opposite, a brighter color so it gives the picture kind of an unrealistic or magic feeling.

Trust me, it can work very well.

Like I did on the upper part of the legs

the tips of the hair (which you'll see later)

or some clothing folds.

While I work on each shadow I also make use of some Blending Modes

such as Overlay, Luminosity, Lumi&Shade...

I don't have a specific rule to use them

I just use them when I think I need them to create certain effects I want to achieve.

If you need a further explanation about those Blending Modes

you may want to check this other video.

Last I add some lights on a new layer if I think I need them

and we're done! :)

Once the illustration is basically finished

I go up to the lineart layer (or group of layers)

I create a new layer, clip it to the lineart

and I start coloring on it to change the lineart colors to something softer.

If you already like how your black lines look (or whatever color you use for your lines)

you don't have to change them.

But I dislike how black lines look on my illustrations that's why I change them at the end.

I think that way I can give the picture a softer or sweeter look.

Lately I've also been adding some white lines on my illustrations.

I do that in order to create more depth or separate some parts of the picture.

To do that I just merge all the layers into one.

I make a new layer and clip it to where the drawing is.

And draw some white lines with whatever random brush.

It's also an optional step.

Some months ago I didn't do that, so many in the future I'll stop doing it

and then I'll go back to using that method and so on...

It's just a little detail to make your illustrations funnier.

Lastly we move to Photoshop

and fight with it for a while until a good background comes out xD

I'll show you how to make backgrounds and the color correction and effects I use

in another video, okay? ^w^

If you're looking for more tutorials about coloring

you may also check this one.

There I explain some tricks that you may find useful.

That's it for today! :)

I hope this kind of quick "review" about Medibang was useful for you guys.

And I hope you've enjoyed this video as well.

See you on the next one! Bye ♥

【BLOOPERS/おまけ】 ♥ THANK YOU ! ありがとう ♥ 1000 Subscribers 【ローラ/Laura】 - Duration: 8:13.

Hi everyone! today I'm here for a special

video it's not a dance video as usual or

not dance video like you would think is

recently my channel reached a thousand

subscribers and I can't believe it

maybe that's not a lot for you i'm sure it's

not at all because

for me a thousand subscribers it

means so so much

it represents a lot i know that for

you doesn't maybe because we are used to

see Youtubers...

We're used to see huge youtubers like

Pewdiepie or Markiplier for French there are

squeezie, cyprien, stuff like that but as

a "dance coverist"

can I see that as someone who does

videos on youtube in the dance cover

section i think it is a lot because i

wanted to say thank you in my way I was

wondering what could i do first I wanted

to do a basic dance cover but I was like

no I want to give you more i would like

maybe tutorial you know something like

that was like no I was thinking about a

question and answer video i want to wait

for that but then, someone gave me the

idea of making a video of all the

bloopers from my previous videos so I was

like totally I don't care

yeah i'm gonna show you all the bloopers

from the very beginning of my channel

actually not really because i started

youtube in 2010 but yeah my old

computer had a virus so I lost my videos

my dance videos from 2010 to 2011

yeah my bad maybe you don't know but

making dance covers takes a lot of time

because first you have to learn the

dance then you have to practice it all

then you have to record it and recording

it is surprisingly the most difficult

part due to the environment your body

conditions like if you're tired if it's

in the morning the afternoon

if you're on stage or not most of

the time I'm recording alone that's why

it's very complicated for me but yeah I

made a lot of mistakes and I thought it

would be like to share it with you so

you can see that we are all human kind of

that it takes a lot of time and efforts

to make a video and also that it's not

always in our favor but there are some

dances that I've danced for seven years

and I've danced them several times like

for example Kero 9 destiny

there's the first time I danced it and

the last time I danced it so you can

compare I think I kind of improved a

little bit i guess i hope so

so there's this part of improvement that

you can see from the first time you

practice the dance and the time you

danced it

this video from a my contemporary

dance test i did with my two friends I

think it's one of the most joyful point

of doing dance covers is that you can

see where you started and where you got

to so in this video I'm going to share

all the bloopers but they are some bloopers

from previous videos that have been

deleted or just that they've never been

published because I was too ashamed of

it

yeah I hope you will like it even if you

don't know the original video i really

hope you enjoy

let's go

stop that

I didn't do anything...

He already put his hand on the screen

stop that ...

???

She stopped the video

Really?!

AH

Really stop thaaat

NO PLEASE!! STOPTHAAAT

*random man*

stop please ♥

WRONG LEEEEG

NOOOOO

it's super hard to dance with these high heels it hurts a lot

3, 2, 1, let's go...

it's gonna be okay!

So Laura

YOU CAN'T DANCE?

SO

SO

so that's it for the bloopers!

I really hope you enjoyed thumbs up if you

like this video comment in the section

below and don't forget to subscribe to

my channel thank you very much

for watching this video!!!

Otsukare Nyappy! Laura deshita! Bye bye ♥

How to Use IFTTT to Automate Your Life and Business - Duration: 16:47.

So this is IFTTT. This is their home

screen and does it not look great? Isn't

that pretty?

(Applause)

Yeah the crowd here seems to like it.

So what's so great about it is that

its just so plug-and-play,

Its pretty and it's simple

so you that you can't ask for more than

that and these are my applets that I

have set up and there's a couple of fun

ones that I want to bring to your

attention, stuff maybe you've never

thought about before. There's some

obvious ones that are just practical but

I really like having fun with some of

the ones that are more out-of-the-box so

the first one I'm going to show you is

this one.

So what this says is if the

weather changes then post a tweet with

an image to my Twitter account. Let me

back up here because I didn't do a great job

just sort of introducing what IFTTT is.

The essence of IFTTT and that is it

connects applications and devices

together to automate things to make your

life just a little bit easier okay?

When do you think might be a good

time to use something like this? I could

think of a million ways and I actually

was inspired a while ago by a blog post

that I read that talked about how the

Corcoran group in New York uses this.

So basically whenever New York is

forecast well actually whenever it rains

in New York a tweet automatically goes

out with an image and it says

Hey New York check out these top 10 things to do

in New York when it rains in the city

when it rains, something like that so I

thought that was a great idea you can

also time this for sunrise and sunset so

one of my clients was an online Jewish

magazine and so what we did was we

triggered a like shabbat shalom happy

sabbath to go out with the

sun down on Friday so really cool. What

I did in this case here's one I'll show

you a graphic so when it rains in

Cleveland I send out this graphic and it

says It's raining Cleveland a great time

to get cozy and brush up on your social

media so think about the ways that you

might use that but you can also do it

based on your calendar so let me get

back to here so you could say on the

first of every month to do this you know

on every full moon do this so really

really fun way to use IFTTT. Let me go

back over to my applets. Okay now

let's just talk about I'm going to walk

through these we're just going to talk

about some of these you probably already

have set up look at this red square up here

on the top right and it says post your

Instagram photos as native Twitter

photos when twitter is in the caption so

if you want your Instagram photos to

show up nice and big and beautifully in

the twitter feed

that's all you have to do is set

this this applet up and the reason you

would do this is because if you just

connect the app whether it's Facebook or

Twitter anything with instagram then you

typically just end up with an ugly

little link in this case it post the

picture nice and big and bold and

beautiful. But check this one out

so on Twitter what this one says is if

anybody tweets with the phrase I want to

create a course then send me a text

message at this number

so really anytime anybody tweets with

that exact phrase I'm going to get a

text message

now why is that a good idea like why why

would I particularly want to have that

information

well because I have a course that

teaches people how to create courses now

another experiment that I love to do

is and those of you who have followed me

for a while have probably seen me do

this a few times but to be honest with

you it really never loses its novelty.

As far as I'm concerned this is just the coolest

thing ever and that is you're going to

go over to Twitter and then we're going

to go to advanced search which is

twitter.com/search-advanced

Alright this is what we want and where

it says this exact phrase I'm going to

say I need a graphic designer and then

we're going to click search

and what you see is all the people who have just

tweeted that they need a

graphic designer.

This person is "Guys I need a graphic designer

someone to design logos,

t-shirts, corporate branding. I'll pay

marketplace price pls retweet to assist

or please reply to it

assist." "I need a graphic designer that's

good at recreating logos" I mean on and

on but you don't have time to sit here

and hit advanced search all day long in

twitter but what you do have time to do

is to set this up so maybe you're if

you're a graphic designer in these

quotation marks it would say I want a

I need a graphic designer and then you're

going to get a tweet every time someone

says that. Pretty cool right? Let's go

back over to the other applets and

remember don't worry you know don't

worry about writing all this down. I am

putting all this into a slick workbook

that's going to be emailed out tomorrow

of course it's free and I'm hopefully going

to compile some of your suggestions for

your favorite IFTTT applets and recipes

combined with these as well.

Let's see here. What's the next one? Automatically

sync start emails in gmail to evernote

so I don't know about you but I get a

ton of email and a lot of them I don't

have time to answer right away but

they're important and I don't want to

forget about them so I will star I'll

click the little star in gmail and it

will automatically go to my Evernote

this next one automatically create new

reminders on your iphone for emails

that you star in gmail yeah that's redundant.

ok email me 10 things to know in the

morning I love this one. This one I get

this is where I get great ideas for what

to post on my social media because I've

got New York time results New York Times

basically I get an alert from them with

any breaking technology news

so if you're in the health and wellness

space then you would get breaking news

for health and wellness and so on and so forth

according to whatever your niche is.

What else that I want to point out oh this one's

cool so whenever you arrive in the city

in New York send yourself a map of the

subway so I'm they're quite a bit these

days because I've been participating in

Todd Hermans Basecamp mastermind

and so it's cool. The minute that I land

I get an email with the map of the

subway system. This one saves my tush

more times than I can even tell you.

This is set an SMS alert before any event

starts on your google calendar so for

example today I had a client call at ten

am I almost forgot about it but I got a

text message 15 minutes prior to the

meeting that said your meeting with

so-and-so is starting at 10am so that was

really helpful.

Every morning at 7am

I get the forecast for the day.

This one pin a photo to a Pinterest board and

this one I highly recommend right here

where it says if new IFTTT update then

send me a text message and that's

because IFTTT is constantly adding new

integrations new devices and softwares

and platforms that they integrate with

and you'll find out about it if you set

up that rule so let me show you quickly

starting from the beginning how you set

up one of these easy peasy little

recipes and see look at how beautiful

this is.

It's so

like I just love how clean and simple

it is so you're just going to follow the

prompts so we're going to click here if

this now look at all these things we

have to choose from we can connect any

of this stuff together even your washing machine

ok your washing machine, light bulbs

SurveyMonkey I mean I'm just randomly

your nest thermostat on and on and on

so many things

ok so let's say on it you don't want to

scroll through all these things and you

know what it is you want to connect then

you could just start typing it in date

and time and now I could say everyday at

a certain time every hour every day of

the week every year on a certain date

and time you specify every month on the

whatever day of every month so every

single person that's watching with your

audience

there's something you can come up with

that would be of value to your audience

to send to them on the first of every

month or at the last day of every month

to check in and say hey you know it's

the last day of the month

did you do such and so or this is a

reminder to do such and so so explore

this and have fun with it so what we're

going to do is we're going to say every

month on the first of the month and then

we're going to click create trigger and

then the next probably get is this blue

that so now we're going to click on that

and what do we want to do? what do we want to do

on the first very much gosh we have

so many options so I'm going to say

Facebook page and I'm going to say that

I want to I could either just create a

status message or post a link or I can

upload a photo from a URL so that's

probably going to be the best thing to

do so I'm going to click here and I'm

going to put in the photo URL. Now quick

tip, little pro tip for you- in order to get a

really easy clean URL

for a photo like the one that I showed

you here that I have that goes out on a

tweet every time that it rains is to go over

to Amazon S3 now I'm warning you now

that if you're not familiar with amazon

s3 when you look at it you're going to go

ay ya yay This is more than I want to

take on but if you just follow exactly

what I'm doing

you're going to be fine and now look at

this teeny weeny weeny right there

s3 that's what you want and what I'm

showing you is basically a cloud but the

great thing about amazon s3 is that

number one stuff uploads lightning-fast

you can create these buckets to organize

your content and the truth is I need to

go in there and add a few more buckets

and organize myself a little better but

you can create these buckets and then

and then you upload videos or graphics

or PDF documents and it gives you these

shareable links in it

I don't even know what I pay for this

it's so inexpensive maybe five dollars a

month and I have so many videos so much

content and I've never gotten a message

that says like you're running low

on content and it's extraordinarily

reliable in fact there's a lot of

big-name systems and platforms like

teaching platforms and I don't want to

name them right now because I used one

the other day and I can't remember which

one it was.

Like I don't know if it was teachable

I don't know where I was

but the point is a lot of big companies

that house your content already use

Amazon S3 to host so that just shows

you like how

how kind of durable it is or dependable

I should say so okay so here we are and

I'll just go over here to this one

because this is just what I uploaded that

little dog graphic and you click upload

and then you're going to click add file

and I recommend for this purpose to find

a PNG document

which is what Canva If you create

your graphic in canva it will default to

that format so let me go to downloads

because I know I have one there

well I thought I did so now what I'm

going to do is just click .PNG in my

search and that'll bring something up

just so I could demonstrate okay so

we'll just pick this and then click open

and then don't forget this part in the

lower right hand corner click start upload.

Ok done do you see how fast that was?

That's insane. Done. Not only that I'm

live streaming and I've got all these

things open and that just happened that fast

so then this is very very important.

You're going to click to the left of

that file its blue now and then you're

going to click properties

and you're going to click permissions and then add

more permissions and you're going to

click open download you're going to

check that check the little box and then

you're going to make sure on the pop-up

menu click everyone then click save.

Now we're going to hit reload on this

and there's the file we're going to click

the little blue button again click

properties again and then there it is

there's our beautiful little link so you

just turn that graphic into a link.

This also by the way works really well as a

lead magnet so you know

as opposed to sort of like when you send a thank-you

after someone opts into your thing or on

the thank you button on your lead page

you can have this be the link so they

are immediately click on it and they're

automatically taken right to

thing that they opted in for so very

very cool. Alright so let's go back over here.

So the photo URL would be whatever

it was that we just created and then you

put your message here it's the first of

the month

it's lalala and then just click create

action and then that's going to be your

IFTTT recipe there so that's it. That's

how you create a recipe it's just gonna

keep going to walk you through it

totally plug-and-play. Please feel free

to comment down below and share your

favorite IFTTT applet with us and for

those of you are just joining us this

will be mailed out to you if you're on my

email list you're going to get the

beautiful workbook that I'm creating

favorite IFTTT recipes some that we

mentioned today and some that I did not

Picking a Tool for Water Marbling with Nail Polish | Water Marbling 101 - Duration: 1:38.

Hey everyone!

The Water Marbler here, comin' at ya today

with a short video about choosing a tool

for water marbling with nail polish.

There are so many things that you can pick

to draw in your nail polish with.

You can use a dotting tool,

a needle poked into an eraser

a toothpick, or one of the many water marbling tools

that you can buy online.

I personally typically opt for a toothpick though,

and here's why.

Since it's a wooden toothpick,

it's nice and porous

and not terribly thin.

This allows it to really grab on to

the polish and drag it quite a ways

in the design.

If you choose a needle

you're going to cut through the polish more

and there's going to be less drag.

This can be really awesome if you're doing really intricate designs,

but I usually tend to pick a chunkier design

that can be seen from a distance.

So I prefer the greater drag

that you get from a toothpick

most of the time.

This is part of the reason that I don't have

any tools that are specifically

made for water marbling.

Because they tend to be sharp, thin instruments

that are designed to cut through the polish.

And I could get the same thing

with a needle for free.

But that's just my two cents on it,

and you have to cater your tool

to the application and desired effect.

Just play with it

and figure out what feels right.

I really hope you enjoyed this video

and and found it helpful information

for your water marbles.

Happy marbling!

Thanks so much for watching!
