Waching daily Jun 17 2018

hi my name is Eric michael founder of

the power life system and today you're

going to learn five packs for stress

relief so that you can have more

equanimity more peace and even if

there's things going on around us and

there's always gonna be things oh my god

fact of life today is that there's

changes faster than ever before and what

we want to do is be able to have that

zen-like equanimity in the midst of

whatever is going on and that's what I

want to help you achieve so my goal

today is to help you reduce stress by

even 1% or 5% or ideally give you what

massive breakthrough in terms of having

greater equanimity and feeling great for

those of what's going on around you or

how many things one receives one has to

0 before I go into the actual hacks

let's do a quick self analysis so from

one meeting not much to 10 on average

every single day how stressed do you

feel 10 is off the charts and what is

everything is perfect so if you don't

really low on the chart meaning you're

already feeling great and I'm excited to

share things with you that potentially

can make you feel greater if you're

alright you're feeling stressed on

average during the month or during the

week then I'm excited to be able to help

you we do sit and work when you're

meeting and really have a greater

quality of life hack number one is the

most important because a lot of people

are stressed because they're looking to

outward events for example if it's sunny

today then I'll feel good or I'll I'll

be relaxed but if it's rainy that I'm

gonna be grouchy or if I get everything

on my to-do list done then I'll be

relaxed but if I have a lot of things to

do at all I'm stressed and I'll treat

people with short or rudely or be very

patient and the list goes on

right and we probably all fought

something like that before if I do this

then this will happen the key though is

to connect with an infinite source of

the feelings that we desire

as such we can feel equanimity even

greater right now you can feel even

happier and this is a skill like any

other skill you're gonna do it right now

and you're gonna feel a little bit like

when in the knee you can feel more

peaceful less stressed and the more you

do it the greater the skill level

becomes just like any other skill if you

play golf or basketball but I played

basketball in high school and when I

started out I couldn't not even know how

to hold the ball and I was able to to

learn how to shoot I was able to learn

how to move and do the different things

so it's like any other skill to do this

complete anything you're doing right now

and then go to a place that's quiet or

you can relax even more right now place

your attention on your complete body

from your head to feet as I snap my

fingers you're gonna feel a gentle wave

completely relaxing everything just like

the waves Shh come down the ocean

each wave you hear another one we're

gonna do three waves gonna relax you ten

times more than you were before so a

wave comes gentle wave from your heads

your feet and now you relax even deeper

now 10 times deeper we then and breathe

out

and now another wave relaxing from your

feets your head muscles around your eyes

your shoulders everything

you feel even more relaxed right now and

now visualize something the things that

you most desire in all areas of your

life

financial spiritual enjoyment

interpersonal intimacy visualize

yourself doing the things maybe you're

walking on the beach or here you're

drinking your favorite beverage and

you're drawing yourself or your favorite

meal on the beach maybe the mountains of

the individual or the people and you

must enjoy being with who make you feel

so relaxed now and continue adding more

and more details every time you do this

yeah now connect with the feelings you

have well when you're doing the things

you most enjoy or have accomplished the

things you must want likely you feel

even more peaceful relaxed it's like

limiting it happy connect with those it

allowed us to grow in size you when you

feel that really a lot your body to form

to that relaxation you know being

present

I'm the equanimity the joy that radiates

into your eyes your face in all parts of

you by doing these quick steps what

you're doing is you're placing yourself

in a thought space of mental space or

mind the chemicals of relaxation to be

stimulated to be released in your body

it's allow you to have a greater stress

release feel greater equanimity and feel

even happier it's also going to help you

achieve more and accomplish more which

is incidentally also gonna help you

reduce your stress it's gonna do so many

good things for you it's ultimately the

foundation the other hacks I'm gonna

share with you

pack number two he did foods they're

gonna reduce your stress the fact is is

that what we eat and the beverages we

drink I'm gonna directly contribute to

the chemicals and hormones that are

going to run our body and then those are

going to contribute to whether we feel

relaxed to the peace or stressed and

anxious about what's going on

so has it rule-of-thumb

the foods we eat and the beverages we

drink I mean the directly lead us to

have certain chemicals and four mugs in

our body and then those I'm gonna lead

us and contribute to how we feel with

related to a lot of things especially

related to stress anxiety and tension it

in our system and our thoughts in our

body and the general rule of thumb is

the more you reduce foods that are high

in sugar such as sodas or anything

processed if it comes in a cardboard box

things like cereals and grains and

carbonated beverages or alcohol or food

fruit drinks maybe any type of fruit

you're drinking without the actual fruit

that has all of the fiber and things in

it but those are going to do is they're

going to spike your blood sugar level

and that's going to do a lot of the

chain reaction it's going to increase

the stress response in your body and not

only does it actually age-1 faster but

it also contributes that feeling of

stress so the more you can reduce those

and you might be asking well what key

replace them with the ideal would be to

replace with whole foods and that's

something that's actually growing that's

in the same form as what it was growing

for example vegetables fruits we're

actually eating the actual fruit or

other foods that are gonna be whole type

of foods you can extend it out to beans

and legumes or clean meats and fish the

key though a lot of all of this is to

reduce or eliminate processed foods

fried fruit type fried foods and very

sugary things it's to reduce your stress

response my suggestion for you is to

experiment with yourself because

everyone is different

for example milk is something that could

be causing you to feel really stressed

or maybe not so you can experiment with

removing or reducing certain things and

see it's just giving me the greatest

stress relief because out of all these

things if you're like most people you're

probably thinking my goodness I don't

want to give up everything that meaning

right now so my suggestion for you would

be to start with some category let's say

you have a Red Bull which is hiding

caffeine high in sugar let's say around

lunchtime

and it gives you an energy boost but

then you feel agitated and jittery in

the afternoons why don't you test

removing just that one thing we're

having instead of the full Red Bull

maybe half of it and see if that's

benefiting you because the idea here is

that you can make the minimum number of

changes get the maximum amount of

results and be the happiest the easiest

so experiment is that the milk is it the

sugar is that the fruit drinks is the

caffeine and experiment with different

things and then observe your reaction

and so you can identify likely out of

all of these different things you're

doing there's likely maybe two or three

that are gonna be really easy to adjust

or reduce or modify in some way with

something else that gives you a similar

type of positive feelings and you can

reduce your stress a lot from the food

and the beverage aspect

number three is identify the core

foundational things that you need every

day to feel relaxed for example for

myself for me to meditate this is full

meditation three times I call it the

power life system meditation and energy

balancing activities for me to do that

three times a day fantastic things

happen in my higher and one of them is

being that my stress goes from you know

wherever it is solo or as we just

completely and I feel like greater sense

of equanimity a peace and joy and then I

radiate that and I can transmit that to

the people near me which is so beautiful

and they transmit it back and it's it's

a phenomenal thing so ask yourself what

are some core foundational things for

yourself it's gonna be unique to

everyone maybe it's playing an

instrument that can see that relaxation

maybe it's taking a walk outside maybe

it's playing golf once a week or once a

day or whatever it is identify some of

the things that for you to do on a daily

basis are just core and essential for

you and then make sure you do them

because you're actually going to get

more done you're gonna feel happier and

you can feel a lot less stress and you

let me have much greater quality of life

I'm making sure that you include them

every single day even if it's a

checklist whatever those things are pack

number four is prioritize the various

different companies that I'm leading and

the new projects and the new products

that we're creating there's literally a

potential list that can go not just

figuratively but literally a mile high

so if I look at that whole list of all

these different things and I start to do

different things

it contributes to more stress because

I'm not really able to complete anything

because there's so many in front of me

I'm not really sure where to start and

then even at the end of the day if I

even if I worked really hard I could

have easily chosen things that we're

getting the most results or the most

important and I might not feel that that

successful like I really contributed

that much so the most important thing

it's get all of the things that you're

thinking of doing everything you need to

do or you may need to do in front of you

and then identify what are the two or

three most important things they give

you the biggest benefit or the biggest

potential risk and then focus on those

one at a time until you get each one

done there's other things that need to

be done see if you can delegate them to

someone else with some clear

instructions and when you trust or maybe

even you can even use some type of

freelancer or site are you matched just

a friend to help you with something the

key though is to focus on the most

important first one at a time and do

them that's gonna give you such a stress

relief give you a lot more equanimity

and peace and incidentally a lot of

times when we saw these big things a lot

of these other things on the list just

solve themselves pack number five is

evaluated if you really need a lifestyle

change and then go ahead and execute on

it

I'll give you an example that there was

a couple and he was working 40 50 60

hours a week and his chiropractic

business and that she was - and by

certain standards I suppose they looked

successful they had the big home the

nice cars successful practices and they

were busy however he was very overweight

they weren't happy they didn't have that

magic they had when they first met they

made a decision to go Costa Rica sell it

all and go living beaten where it's it's

green it's natural it's fresh they did

that and they're happier than ever

before he lost I think was 2030 pounds

he looks like he's 20 years younger she

looks like she's in her teens and I

think she's now in her 20s at 30th

thirties I think and they're they've

created for themselves a lifestyle that

is so peaceful has so much equanimity as

well the stress relief they wanted they

have achieved it another individual he

was a club designer and you were pretty

successful won various different prizes

for his beautiful designs but he was

living in a situation where people were

suing each other and he was very very

stressed he decided to build his own

hotel on the beaches of Tulum Mexico

which has some of the most beautiful

sand and beaches in the world as well as

a really when you go there you feel this

sensation of this peace this joy this

relaxation that just fills you permeates

to you it makes you feel so much better

with every breath you take and he's

extremely happy he's with his girlfriend

I think maybe wife now and he's solved

stress

by redesigning his lifestyle so the

question would be is for you it's been

the crime where you're living what

you're doing and your current basically

habits or lifestyle is that the one

that's ideal for you and only you can

answer that I'm not telling you to cut

it to Lu Mexico

I'm not taking to go to Costa Rica all

I'm suggesting is that we ask ourselves

is the lifestyle that we have right now

is it going to allow me to have the

equanimity and stress relief that I

desire and really think about that if

it's not or if you have doubts then why

don't you identify what how would you

like your day to be for the focus is

obviously on you relaxed having less

stress really give an example I was

living in the Cardinal Valley / Del Mar

in San Diego and it's a beautiful area I

was really thankful when I was living

there and I love California and the

beaches I went to school there UCSD and

I was noticing that at least at that

point in my life before I had all of

these tools I'm sharing with you that I

was I was stressed from a perspective of

this having a nicer car than the

neighbors well everyone on the street

had to have their BMWs and Mercedes and

I said to myself I'm not gonna fall into

that trap of you know who has a nicer

bigger

newer car and then I looked in the

driveway and I had the latest luxury

edition of a BMW at that time and I said

well what just happened here because

we're we're around and the people are

gonna really influence us and I spend

part of the year in Brazil and that's

what we're looking at right now in

Brasilia beaches and for me one thing

that I really value is that there's a

very beautiful energy of being happy and

a joy of

connecting with other people and music

and expression and a respect and of love

a Brotherhood and it exists some people

who have really nothing there who can be

sleeping on the beach the people who

have a lot we're living in the nicest

places and had various cars and

businesses and ultimately to me that's

one of the foundational qualities so I'm

sharing that with you so you can you can

identify for yourself is the one you

have right now is it the ideal for

yourself or if not then ask yourself

what could be I didn't do some research

you can google look on YouTube and get

some ideas and then the next step would

be to research it and then as you

research and get more information you

can make the decision would be something

with this be something to get some more

information maybe even just test out go

to the city or location you're looking

at and see if you could create for

yourself maybe a new style of life that

could ultimately give you incredible joy

relaxation and equanimity and it

completely solved this stress relief

issue one of the most effective ways to

feel great and the equanimity or those

some what's going on is to have all

areas of woods life rocking an actual

spiritual enjoyment in a person will

have it just be like exactly what you

most desire and then even getting better

and better every single day to help you

achieve that I've created a free life

abundance quiz you can do right now so

Troubled upbringing of '21st century highwaymen' no excuse for stabbing strangers, judge says as he - Duration: 15:17.

Two killers described as "21st century highwaymen" were told by a judge their troubled upbringing was no excuse for their murderous spree as they were jailed for life

Nathan Gilmaney, 19, and Troy Thomas, who was just 17 when they robbed 28-year-old Abdul Samad's iPhone, lashed out when he refused to give them his PIN number - stabbing him to death

Video footage captured them riding around on a moped and attacking strangers at will on October 16 last year

It shows them mounting the pavement to steal a victim's belongings.   The Common Serjeant of London Judge Richard Marks heard both teenagers had problems in their lives, but he dismissed them as a reason for their violence

He said: 'There are many, many young people who have these of difficulties who do not resort to thuggish and wicked behaviour like you did that night'  Mr Samad, who was engaged to be married, was killed during a four hour robbery spree the pair carried out when they were "bored" after smoking cannabis and taking Xanax tranquilisers

The killers were both handed life sentences at the Old Bailey with Gilmaney told he must spend 27 years in jail and Thomas 22

Relatives and friends of the murderers crammed into the packed public gallery sobbed and screamed "love you, son" as the sentences were handed out

As he was led into the cells Gilmaney shouted "suck your mum" as Thomas stayed quiet, but neither showed any remorse during the short hearing

Murderers Nathan Gilmaney, left, and Troy Thomas, right  Sentencing, the judge said: "You were both to admit that it had been your invariable practice for many months prior to these events to go out armed with a knife

"Your methodology was disarmingly simple. It was dark and late at night and there were people about, sometimes on their own, at other times in pairs

"Having identified a target you would drive up to them, sometimes on the pavement where they walked, with a view to either snatching their phone if they happened to be using it or alternatively by demanding they handed their property over

"In cases where they ran away you chased them on moped, cornering them and as they were obviously utterly terrified, and you had a vehicle whereas they were on foot, and there were two of you, they proved in the main to be very easy targets

"Abdul Samad was an outstanding young man in his twenties who was engaged to be married and had his whole life in front of him

"Your wicked stabbing of him has left his family utterly devastated. Whether they will be able to recover from that devastation is open to doubt

"  Thomas admitted theft, three counts of attempted robbery and six counts of robbery

He had denied four counts of wounding with intent but was also found guilty by the jury of those grievous bodily harm offences

On Friday, 15 June, they were sentenced to life imprisonment. Crime interactive tool - how prevalent is crime where you live?  Prosecutor Oliver Glasgow QC said they were "highwaymen of the 21st Century who thought they had the right to threaten and rob whoever they found, who attacked their targets in a brazen and shocking manner and who stabbed their victims often for no reason other than simple aggression and blood lust"

He said the pair had both armed themselves with a knife and set out on Gilmaney's moped to steal wallets, phones and valuables to sell on

One of their victims was Mr Samad, who died in his family's arms having been stabbed for an iPhone

The four-hour spree on London's streets  The spate of robberies began at 10.30pm in Maida Vale when they approached Nazmul Chowdhury and demanded he handed over his belongings

After spotting a knife he fled, but they chased him and mounted the pavement, and as he tried to board a bus to escape Gilmaney stabbed him in the back

An hour later in Paddington the pair attacked Venezuelan Ehimer Fierro-Berbesi and his elderly aunt Ana Fierro-Berbesi who were sat outside their home

They threatened them with knives and stole jewellery and money, and allegedly stabbed Mr Fierro-Berbesi in the stomach

Seconds later, they confronted Mr Samad. At first the pair rode off but turned around and shouted at him

Mr Glasgow told jurors that Mr Samad had been confronted by the teenagers in St Mary's Terrace, in Paddington, and handed them something from his pocket

He gave them something else but Gilmaney allegedly got off the moped and stabbed him in the chest

Mr Glasgow said: "Mr Samad managed to stagger the short distance back to where his family lived but he collapsed at the door

His parents, who heard his cries, found him bleeding to death outside their home

"  He died later in hospital having suffered a devastating wound to the heart. Troy Thomas' flick knife  As the emergency services rushed to help and "tried to comfort his traumatised family", the moped muggers "completely unmoved by what they had just done, prowled the streets looking for another target"

A few minutes later they tried to rob Joseph Denby on Golborne Road, and when he showed his phone was an old Nokia, they demanded his wallet but he escaped

Two other victims were robbed of their belongings before the pair returned to Maida Vale to offload their stolen goods - including Mr Samad's iPhone and some foreign currency - to a man in a high-rise

About 20 minutes later, at 1.30am, they tried to rob Graipich Vudto in Porchester Road, and Gilmaney stabbed him in the stomach after he refused to let go of his phone, before speeding off

Minutes later, Gilmaney stabbed Silverio Pina in the arm on Princess Square, and at 1

50am, they snatched a phone out of the hand of Natevan Casinova at the junction of Portobello Road and Pembridge Road

Just after 2am, they approached Shemiqua Moore-Dingwall and her friend Matthew Calonga on Cricklewood Lane

She handed over her bag, but Gilmaney punched her in the face and just five minutes later they demanded Nelson Aparicio hand over his phone and wallet, only to be stabbed in the stomach

Knife possession has soared in the last four years  As the number of casualties mounted, police were alerted and scoured the area for the culprits

Mr Glasgow said the defendants tried to escape but were arrested after a police chase

Their pockets were stuffed with stolen valuables and CCTV captured them in the act of riding around and attacking helpless strangers, the Old Bailey heard

Mr Samad's mobile phone was among stolen items sold on the same night but recovered during a police search of the man's flat off Harrow Road

Abdul Samad: Beautiful human being who was adored by everyone  In part of a victim impact statement Abdul' Samad's mother Layla Begum, said: "The death of my son has absolutely broken my husband, my eldest son, my entire family and me

"Since his death there has not been a single moment that goes by for me without shedding tears

"I would do anything to get him back. Sometimes when I am at home I think he will walk in again and that this has all been a bad dream

However, as each minute, each hour and each day goes by I then realise Abdul is not going to come back home

Abdul has been taken from us forever.  "I will never be able to get over losing a son

I feel like Abdul's death has caused a hole in my heart and a vital organ of my body is missing

I often feel like a dead woman walking around my home."  Murder victom Abdul Samad  In part of a victim impact statement Abdul's girlfriend Sultana Ahmed, said: "I had known Abdul for 11 years and he had the most amazing personality

He was caring, kind, loving and everyone adored him.  "I had seen Abdul grow into a beautiful human being who always wanted to help people in whatever capacity he could

"We had many plans for this year and the last thing Abdul said to me was, 'watch, this year will be our year and we will be a family'

He also said, 'I will give my mum and dad the perfect gift in the new year - which is you as a daughter-in-law'

"Had we both known that this would be our last conversation ever and that he would not call me back as he had promised that night we would have had a longer conversation

"I felt like I died with Abdul that day. He took a part of me that will never come back

"Abdul lived for his job of helping children - he was the change we needed to see in the world

The change he brought because he wanted to brighten the future for the youths of this generation

Why would someone hurt him and snatch his life away?  "It still feels like a nightmare to me as I relive everything every single day, sometimes I do not feel like waking up in the morning because I fear reality

"Every time I close my eyes I remember his laughter, his infectious smile and I cry because I remember the day I went to the mortuary to see him and how my world shattered

"

Four-way tie for the lead after third round of the US Open - Duration: 7:47.

Phil Mickelson marked his 48th birthday on Saturday with an act of petulance during the third round of the US Open that ought to haunt him for the rest of his career

It was an episode so disgraceful it should have led to his disqualification but, with sad predictability, the United States Association came down on the side of one of the most decorated players rather than protect the game, and handed out a two shot penalty instead

Such was the understandable furore, it totally overshadowed a brutal third round that saw world number one Dustin Johnson blow his four shot halfway lead in his first five holes

So difficult did the conditions become, as the wind gathered velocity and the greens become like marble, that former Masters and Open Champion Zach Johnson claimed the course went beyond the bounds of fairness

As if the USGA weren't being pelted by enough rotten tomatoes over their grotesque ruling regarding Mickelson, Zach Johnson lobbed some more

'It's gone, the USGA have lost control of the course,' he said. There were certainly some questionable pin positions, and his argument gained further validity in the remarkable fact that Tony Finau and Daniel Berger, who began the day in 45th place, are in a four way tie for the lead and will make up the final group on Sunday after both shot 66

But the fact the leaderboard also contains some of the best ball strikers suggested there remained a precarious route to survival

Johnson showed the grit of a world number one to recover his poise on the back nine and, while a three-putt at the last hurt, he's still tied for the lead

Defending champion Brooks Koepka completes the leading quartet with Justin Rose only one adrift following a gutsy 73

Henrik Stenson is two behind, with Tyrrell Hatton after a 72 and Ian Poulter, who shot 76, four back

This day, though, was more about Mickelson's moment of madness than the admirable grit and skill of the leaders

Here's the pitiful circumstances. Clearly at the end of his tether with his putting on the treacherous greens Mickelson, already four over for his round, knocked another one past at the 13th that was clearly destined to keep going and fall off the putting surface

Mickelson couldn't cope with that. He ran after the ball and, as jaws slackened among the watching millions, he knocked it back towards the hole while it was still moving

Under the rules, it's a two shot penalty to hit a moving a ball, and that's how it was assessed by the USGA

But rule 14-5 also notes to see Rule 1-2 if a ball is purposely deflected or stopped by a player

A serious breach of that rule, and a disqualification can be imposed.Given Mickelson's ball would have rolled at least another 20ft if he hadn't so blatantly altered its course, it would be interesting to know what the USGA consider a serious breach

Mickelson even admitted afterwards that he acted deliberately. Trying to be oh-so clever, he said he knew the rule regarding hitting a moving ball, and took advantage

'I took the two shot penalty because it was better than going back and forth,' he said

Actually, if he wanted to take advantage of the rules, it would probably have been better to let the ball roll out, and then declare it unplayable, allowing him to play it from its original spot, under a one shot penalty

That would likely have saved him a stroke. No, this was all about ego, and what an appalling example it set

'Given all I've heard, and particularly Phil's explanation, I would have been lobbying for his disqualification,' said David Fay, former executive director of the USGA on American television

As for Mickelson, after marking down his 10 at the 13th, he carried on as if nothing had happened

At the 18th he even played a shot for his adoring gallery, the sort of high lofted pitch only he can play

He followed it by holing his par putt for an 81.In this event where he has finished runner-up six times, and needs to win to complete the career Grand Slam, his 11 over par round equalled his highest score in a US Open, set previously on his debut as a 22 year old

Besieged by the media afterwards, he had two words for anyone offended by his actions

'Toughen up,' he said.Added an unrepentant Mickelson: 'There have been multiple times when I've wanted to do that and now I finally have

'He then signed autographs as the New York crowd serenaded him with chants of 'happy birthday

''I've had an amazing day,' he said, blithely, with the air of a man who believes he's untouchable

Shamefully, the USGA proved him right.
