THE CIA TRAVELED TO THE HIMALAYAS IN SEARCH OF UFOS - Duration: 4:30.
THE CIA TRAVELED TO THE HIMALAYAS IN SEARCH OF UFOS
It is well known that a dedicated Nazi unit called 'Ahnenerbe' tasked with investigating
paranormal phenomenon visited the Himalayas extensively in search of evidence for various
anomalies including Bigfoot, ancient, powerful magical artifacts and UFOs.
The Nazis believed that the discovery of occult or extraterrestrial objects might give them
a huge strategic advantage in the Second World War.
As that war drew to a close and the Cold War became the new international battleground
it appears that the United States took up the mantle of the Nazi interest in the paranormal.
Recently declassified CIA documents describe CIA members taking up the search for UFOs
in the Himalayas.
The strong association with the Himalayas and extra-terrestrial activity largely stems
from the comments of the Buddhist monks who have inhabited the region for generations.
They have often made claims about mysterious lights that can be viewed in the nights
sky which they refer to as intelligent.
t does appear that the CIA had some success in detecting and observing UFOs in the region
when they went to visit the Himalayas in 1968.
In this year, there were a number of mysterious sightings of fast moving lights reported
in Nepal, Bhutan and several locations across India.
According to the CIAs documents, an apparently supersonic object emitting green and red lights
were sighted on the night of the 19th of February in both Nepal and India.
A second UFO would appear two days later over Bhutan and appeared to be traveling from Tibet.
Finally, two UFOs were spotted flying from the Chang La pass and intersecting wing an
Indian Air Force base in Fukche.
A fast-moving object, long and thin, emitting red and green bright light, as bright as to
cause day-light.
Thunder sound heard after few seconds of sighting of object, The report concluded that these
sightings were similar enough to safely make the assumption that they were being operated
by the same collective probably from a base in the general region.
This is a very interesting point as there have rumors about a secret UFO base close
to the Kongka La, a high mountain pass which lies on the border between China and India.
In a separate document, the CIA report that a month after this spate of sightings they
also covered an incident in the Kaski district of north western Nepal.
Intriguingly, this short and sparse report claims that something was recovered from this
particular sighting that bore resemblance to other objects recovered in two separate
regions of Nepal.
This suggests that they may have recovered a UFO and that they had access to information
about previous UFO crashes in the region.
One white light and simultaneously two blasting sounds were heard.
Also, one reddish light followed by white smoke.
Unfortunately, the trail seems to go cold at this point with no more reference being
made to UFO investigations by the CIA in the rest of their declassified documents.
Did they conclude that the objects were UFOs?
Did they actually manage to recover one?
What use was the recovered UFO put to?
Sadly none of these questions have definitive answers at this point and, given the agencys
policy of complete denial about extra-terrestrial activity, it is unlikely that they will be
forthcoming in the near future.
A huge metallic disc-shaped object with a six-foot base and four feet in height was
found in a crater at Baltichaur, five miles NE of Pokhara,

Neil deGrasse Tyson: America's Lack Of Scientific Knowledge Is Dangerous - Duration: 4:39.
Renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson spoke to a sold out crowd in North Carolina
earlier this week, where he told the assembled people that the United States' attack on science
from the political spectrum, and the overall lack of emphasis on the sciences in our school
systems is going to end up being the death of the United States, both with innovation
and economically, and climate.
Here is what deGrasse Tyson is telling us.
We have too many kids in this country who are not being shown or taught responsibly
sciences.
Biological sciences, life sciences, mathematics.
The basic things that we took for granted when we were in middle and high school, wondering,
"When am I ever going to use this?"
How many times have you heard somebody say that about math?
We put such little emphasis on it that we have allowed that to become a talking point.
That's a failure of the school systems, but any failure of the school system ultimately
goes back to the government because the government runs the school systems.
When you have a government like we have in the United States, like we've had in the United
States for over 20 years, that is hostile towards science, that's always going to be
a problem.
We have a government and have had, again, for several decades where half of the people
there don't believe in the science behind climate change.
They look at the data and they still choose to say, "Nope.
This is wrong."
They defend it by saying, "I'm not a scientist," but then they don't listen to the actual scientists.
That's just on the issue of climate change.
Think about what's still happening in the United States, and has been happening for
100 years, with evolution.
We still have school districts in this United States where teachers are not allowed to teach
the theory of evolution.
We have school districts that say, "If you teach evolution, you have to teach creationism,"
something not based at all in any science.
Something that can't be proven or defended with any logic or reason or statistics or
fossil evidence.
We have people alive in the United States right now, people who vote for President,
people who vote for our leaders, that believe that the world is 6,000 years old.
They don't believe scientists when they find a fossil and say, "This is a couple million
years old."
Tyson is absolutely right.
We are a country that is hostile towards science.
More importantly, we're a country that is hostile towards education and knowledge in
general.
Being smart in the United States is a bad thing, according to most people.
That's what George W. Bush ran on in the 2000 and 2004 elections.
That's what Fox News attacked President Obama for in the 2008 election.
They were too smart.
They're elitist.
They don't have anything in common with you.
That's the problem with the United States.
We want everybody to be just like us, and nobody, or too few people, I should say, are
willing to stand up and say, "I want people better than me.
I want my President to be smarter than me.
I want my Representatives and Senators to be smarter than me.
Everyone should be smarter than me, because that's going to help the world."
But when we start thinking that everybody needs to be on our level, just as dumb as
we are, that creates problems.
According to deGrasse Tyson, if we continue to fall behind in innovation and sciences
and reaction to climate change, it is going to destroy the United States financially.
All of the great ideas of the future will come from other countries.
They'll be made in other countries.
The United States will continue to fall behind because somehow, along the way, we were taught
that being smart was a bad thing.

One Faster Than the Other: Video of OSCE Fleeing Donetsk Is Circulating the Internet - Duration: 5:14.
Some news on the situation in Donbass.
In the past 24 hrs, more than 80 civilians have been evacuated from their homes.
Their homes came under fire from Ukrainian forces.
During the night the city was heavily shelled by Grad and Uragan multiple rocket launchers.
The city administration reported significant destruction and many fires.
Moreover, not only buildings, but also communication lines were damaged.
As a result more than 1,200 people are without gas.
Artem Kol elaborates on the situation in the city.
Artem, hello.
What is the current situation?
Vera, hello. The capital of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) is being shelled.
Today the bombing has slowed down compared to yesterday,
when both the outskirts of Donetsk and other settlements,
like Makeyevka, Yasinovataya and others,
were shelled all day and night.
The Ministry of Defence of the DPR states that
Ukrainian forces attacked the DPR positions along the 50 km frontline.
It is worth noting that armoured vehicles were brought in.
This fact has even been reported by foreign journalists
working from the Ukrainian military's position.
At the same time Ukrainian multiple rocket launchers
started shelling residential areas at night.
For example, a missile from the Uragan multiple rocket launcher
exploded several streets away from the DPR government headquarters in the city center.
The direct hit of a one-storey building, which is a military clothing shop,
destroyed it completely.
The blast also destroyed residential buildings,
shops and a petrol station, all within a 50 meter radius of the explosion.
Most cars, were just torn apart by the blast.
It is noteworthy that Ukrainian forces
were shelling other areas with Grad multiple rocket launchers.
Today we talked to some witnesses or should we say victims of the attacks.
Fortunately, nobody was wounded in the Kievsky district,
which was shelled by Grad multiple rocket launchers.
Let's listen to what the people are saying about it.
They started shelling in the evening
then it all calmed down, and we decided to take a nap.
Three strikes followed immediately.
A girl was sleeping here, while I was sleeping there in the bedroom.
We barely had time to rush into the bathroom.
Then we could only hear everything cracking.
Donbass defenders claim that for the past several days Ukrainian forces
have been shelling residential areas
where the citizens live.
Naturally, these are civilians who are suffering.
Some of them are already wounded or worse dead, with the number increasing daily.
Let's listen to representatives of the DPR's Ministry of Defence,
who have visited another settlement
which is situated to the West of Donetsk.
On January, 31 at 11 a.m., a missile launched by Ukrainian forces landed here.
Judging by the damage caused, the caliber used was most likely 152 mm.
A man born in 1941 was found under the rubble.
He is an old man.
Now, he is in the hospital.
The DPR military has requested to report such shellings to OSCE representatives,
but these international observers do not always visit witnesses of such attacks.
Today a video has been uploaded to the Internet
showing several OSCE representatives fleeing Donetsk.
They were seen leaving the city with their luggage and even a trailer.
Unfortunately, the one's who filmed the video did not find out
where the OSCE representatives were heading,
but they did look on with some humour. Let's watch the video.
These are our valiant OSCE observers
in Donetsk.
One car, two cars...
Oh, look, there's a third one!
There they are,
with a trailer and their luggage.
Running back home as fast as they can
as Ukes keep shelling.
However, they say nothing is happening.
Why then are you fleeing the city
dear OSCE?
One faster than the other!
Got it.
So, this is the video circulating the Internet.
The citizens of Donetsk and Lugansk are continuously discussing it.
This is all the information I have for now, Vera.
Thank you, Artem.
That was our reporter Artem Kol live from Donetsk.
