The automaker, Korea's largest, sold over 46-thousand-500 cars in the U.S. last month,...

The solid performance was led by strong sales of the automaker's sports utility vehicles,...
including the Santa Fe and the Tucson.
Sales of the Santa Fe rose more than 53 percent from the same period last year to over 78-hundred

In Hyundai's compact car lineup,...
Accent sales were up almost 40 percent,... while Elantra sales jumped 33 percent.
Amid the otherwise good news, sales of Hyundai's popular Sonata model slipped to just under

That's raised concerns that a sales slump for mid-sized sedans could drag down the company's
sales figures overall.

campaign theme by reviving the manufacturing sector and creating new jobs.
The auto industry is one of the areas that could be hard hit... if Trump imposes heftier

Hyundai has re-applied for membership with the American Chamber of Commerce,... which
is seen as a bridge for bilateral economic ties.
Hyundai also recently announced plans to invest 3-point-1 billion U.S. dollars in the U.S.
over the next five years.
That's up about 50 percent from the previous five-year period.
Although the automaker said the investment has nothing to do with Trump,... it comes
at a time when the new American president has threatened higher tariffs on imported
vehicles... and vowed to cut taxes and regulations for companies operating in the U.S.
He recently urged America's "big three" automakers to build more factories in the country, and
other foreign automakers have announced new investments in the U.S., including Toyota,
which will invest 10 billion dollars over the next five years.

After the Pulse shooting, there was a
candlelight vigil in the Castro.
I was living in San Francisco at the time and
just seeing so many beautiful diverse
people come out and complete strangers
hugging each other
consoling each other
crying in each others arms
I myself did the same.
It was startling more so than anything I had
ever experienced because it hit really
close to home like
those people look like my friends
they look like the people I saw on the street
said "hi" to out
it was a over flowing
of warmth and love and togetherness
in a time when we really needed it
to have complete strangers like embrace each
other cry on each other's shoulders
offer some kind of words of support to
each other that we're all beautiful
important valid parts of this rainbow of people
I think it was really important to
hear that and hear community leaders say
the same thing and bring the 7 by 7 mile
stretch of city together in one spot
regardless of like religion, race, gender
it wasn't just queer people,
it was straight people
it was you know white people
black people
everyone.
I think that was the warmest I've ever felt
by far.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles
and I have very open-minded parents.
Really acclimating a place to
find myself as a teen, especially,
wasn't exactly the most difficult but there
were people in my day-to-day life that
you know directly antagonized and challenged that.
You know it's like walking through
the halls of my high school and hearing
people whisper "faggot"
you can have the thickest skin
and you can be a thousand percent sure of yourself
but to hear that over and over
that can break anyone down and you
definitely feel it
it's tangible
it like kind of gets that knot in your stomach
when you're like "ugh, that word is so ugly or
this person doesn't like me just because I'm like this way"
it's really hard to understand
too when you're that age.
You know I don't look back at that with anger
I don't look back at it with any resentment or hard feelings
I mean I ultimately became more
comfortable in my skin
I became a lot stronger
when those people
they're not comfortable in their own skin
they're just there to make sure that you
feel bad about yourself.
So last year I helped fundraise for my
friend Juanita More's annual Pride Party
which was at the end of June in San Francisco
and I mean San Francisco was very special place
it will always be home to me
even more so participating in that
helping set up
getting the outfits and the looks
and getting people like really hyped about it
and you know raising the money for this
awesome beneficiary "Queer Life Space"
which has a sliding scale payment system
for mental health services for queer people
that's an issue that hits very close to home for me
it really made me feel like I had a voice
like I had a place in something
like I was a part of a real community.
We often get kind of caught up
and like separating ourselves
or like removing ourselves from things
and this was a way to like really band
together like we were all the same
at the same venue you know
being our most beautiful free self.
I think it's really important to feel comfortable
in a setting like that and just be a part of
community to really embrace togetherness
and not this "us v. them" kind of thing.
As a gay kid growing up I would
just say it's so important to just be
yourself and to be happy with yourself
and do what you need to to be happy with yourself
and you know except yourself
because there's so many external factors that
are just there to make us feel bad
and to say that we're wrong.
I think it's important that no matter what you face
and what challenges are what people say
or whoever says what you in the hallway of your high school
you are you and that's a beautiful thing.
There is an idea that we are not a part
of this nation that we don't belong
we're against the "norm"
it's a great thing being queer
it really is
I think it's a beautiful thing
I think being different is amazing
but we are still human
and I think it's really important to acknowledge
that like now more than ever
our most vulnerable and marginalized groups
need as much love
support and warmth as possible
we need to stand up for them and each other
in the face of adversity and there
is going to be a lot of it there always
will be but it's important to never lose
sight of that and lose sight of ourselves
and understand that like we are in this together.

My name is Victor Becerril
and I am a gay male.
I first came out when I was 17
I was a bit confused of who I was
and I remember couple of my friends
my friend Julie and my friend Karina
They have always been very accepting of who
they are and always been very positive
and they encouraged me to be happy of
who I am and the people I want to be with and
to accept myself for being gay.
The first time I felt love for myself was being
around them and just being happy and
being able to talk to them about just
things I like and them being accepting
about it and supporting me and me being
able to relate with them for the same
topics that we have to do is a great
feeling to be around people that that
accept you for who you are so they were
very important for me when I first came out
they showed me love with their
support and their acceptance.
Growing up questioning yourself you always sort of
fear hateful words and slurs from people
but it wasn't until I arrived in Los Angeles in 2007
I went to my first gay parade.
I was super-excited walking down Santa Monica
and on the south side
there was a group of religious people
holding up signs and yelling out slurs
and criticizing who I was
and who my community was
and to hear the hate and
the words that were coming out of their
mouths and their signs and how proud they were
that was the first time I really felt hate as an energy
it was kind of scary just to see that hate is
out there but I overcame that part just
by surrounding myself with my friends
and then they just grabbed me and they
were like don't listen to them and I
didn't and then I thought about it and I
thought about there was only like a
dozen of them and then there were
thousands of my people.
I'm lucky enough to have the love that
I have inside me to overcome hate.
When I walk down Santa Monica or
anywhere and I see a gay couple holding hands,
that for me is very inspirational.
I love to love so when I see that sort
of expression it is inspiring to me.
It gives me hope that love is powerful
and that with it you can just do anything you want.
My community and how hard we
struggled to be where we're at right now
I'm inspired by my people.
it is very important to love yourself
and to lean on to people that care about you
and to know that when you're trying
to figure out who you are
who you want to become
who you want to love
who you want to be with
how do you identify sexually
to know that is self-determined and
that's something that only you can
decide on and you should be proud of who you are.
The body that you came here to earth is just
simply a vessel and what really matters is your soul.
Just stay strong and know that
there are people out there like you who
love you for who you are and keep going.
I think it's important for people to
educate themselves on the LGBT community
before forming any sort of judgment.
It's important for people to really take the
time to understand we're just simply human
and we just have different preferences.
If we all accept each other
there really isn't much that can stop us
as humans.

hello and welcome welcome to the day's
livestream tutorial today we're going to
be drawing rave Jack from samurai jack
like a so the way i got started with it
as you can see I've already done started
with a bit of a rough draft of these
proposed that we're going to be doing so
what I started with i started with a
head or the proposed this is from is
from like when Jack stars to breakdance
or whatever so this is sort of like a
simple pose so I noticed that in the
pose that he's doing like like there's
there's like straight big piece that
goes from his elbow to the Bombers like
so that's that's what I started with
just started with the first line with
Allah through the head first into a line
for this point of his elbow is a
write-up right elbow to his left leg so
that's the first thing i did and then at
your line
let's go that's going under the head
here and then go straight across and
that's going to be whereas other arms
are going to be down here I made a
little box here that's gonna be like
where's torso will be and then I drew
his other leg here it's going to be
fence and with that I got a general idea
about what what the post going to be and
now I start adding on the meaty parts
start starting his torso
oh here i have the top end of his butt
of his torso under its head because he's
facing a little bit towards us and then
his lower bot lower half of the torso is
bents
and it comes a little forward he's got
that and torso here and adding a little
thickness to his legs so for making a
little boxy at first but later Allah
sort of add a little bit of fabric come
curves later gonna add a little hand the
way I do it is I just don't like a
little box for his hand and then add the
fingers
ok we're adding to the other are
then adding a little box here for his
hand
ok then next thing I did is I added like
that the top of the Hat here because
he's at an angle because we're looking
somewhat above him so I'm adding like a
bit of the hat covering covering just a
little bit of his eyes here where's God
was going to be for later and that since
i'm following the guidelines of the head
here that I just true the sides of the
Hat little just above just around like
the edges of the heavier that I just
true and then still following the head
shape that i already true
oh wait forgot to add a little plus this
little plus here on the head will help
be my guideline had to find out where
the eyes will be so i'll give him up
pretty a rather big hand very tough shit
maybe i'll make ya make it move up the
hats a little bit ahead is exactly on is
uh I line so it will be covering up his
eyes

and the eyes here and put guards around
that that's where the goggles you get
the goggles by simply just adding two
circles and just connecting them

and then adding a little circle here

sort of loose looks like it's got a
little change to its
okay with that I'm god I'm going up for
first I need to fix before I work on
like the clothing here need to work add
a bit of muscle here
so moving from like the hand placement
i'll draw i draw the muscles around and
then slowly put together a working
structure
because this arm is up where at where
he's also showing a bit of like that
shoulder muscles moving upwards a little
bit skiing be going to be higher than
the shoulder monsters down here okay and
I'm it's weird like little section here
was like so the armpit and we go okay
from there were going to add a bit of
abs here
now the reason why I'm going so heavily
on the detail for at least first chest
area is because the outfit that he wears
is it's very thin very loose so it
doesn't cover too much of this upper
chest so that's why I'll like also leave
the adding the clothing after when I
figured out where like them is his chest
and abs gonna be like little rolls here
he's gonna just going to be able to pay
for his belly button is going to be and

his other arm slowly add the mussels

midsection is like we're going to have
some exposed boxers he's wearing he's
wearing very loosely fitted jeans i'm
going to make these pants a little more

t-shirt left

start by using my dick tip sharpie to do
the outline of the strong
since we're in the part of the video
where there's not much for me to say
it's more like just me just going over
everything that I've already drawn for

young as well as at least maybe 20 in
his 22nd or thirties
I just filling in that sort here i use
this the martyr just filling this sword

pants see around his pants now I always
seem to like to add owning two sections
that are like under another object like
as you see that's the reason why I tend
to toning on like the inside of the
pants and not unlike the outside
although sometimes i do that as well
it also sort of depends on like how much
filling is on the drawing that sort of
my way of describing like when I say
filling I'm talking about
we're like it is like this because I'm
only working with the pad pencil and ink
to base we fill our drawing you know
instead of where other people would use
color like us some time to use a are
many different patterns to help add a
little something more to a drawing or
like you know we like with a color you
only you know basically skies limit but
with pen and ink ism there's a little
more skill that may be required in order
to help give more attention they will
get more attention to your drawing to
basically to get it get as much
appreciation of a drawing then then that
as much as a color triangle would be
would get
I really cross-hatching to like just as
our armpits

fingers when you bend it to the sections

cheaply drawn the the characters are in
samurai jack
it's hard to tell what is what but well
it's no big deal just fill this here
