ISRO Tests India's Largest Cryogenic Engine For 400-Ton Rocket - Duration: 2:33.

India's space agency certainly seems to be on a trajectory to amaze. After stealing the headlines worldwide this week for launching 104 satellites with a single rocket, the Indian Space Research Organisation or ISRO has successful tested the country's largest cryogenic engine for a full 10 minutes.

The engine will power its mammoth Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mark III rocket capable of propelling a 4-ton class satellites into geo-synchronous orbit - the altitude where satellites revolve in sync with the Earth's rotation.

With this final hurdle crossed yesterday at an ISRO facility in Tamil Nadu's Mahendragiri, India is all set to test the GSLV Mark III rocket which is almost 50 meters high and weighs 414 tons - equal to 75 Asian elephants. The rocket will be a successor to the GSLV Mark II which was first launched in 2001 and can carry a heavier payload than the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle or PSLV.

This engine has been developed after two decades of hard work as the technology was denied to India by Russia under pressure from the US.

The rocket engine uses liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen as fuel that are stored at minus 253 degrees centigrade and then ignited to burn at plus hundreds of degrees centigrade just a few centimetres down engine. A very complex technology, the cryogenic engine has been mastered only by Russia, USA, France, China, Japan and India.

India's space programme received international acclaim after ISRO scientists pulled off an ambitious mission three years ago to send a probe to orbit Mars that succeeded at the first attempt - and at $74 million cost less than the Hollywood space film Gravity.

LUPICA: Trump needs to be President for everyone, not just his airport hangar crowds - Duration: 4:26.

This was President Trump back in his America now, the America of airplane hangars like the one in Melbourne, Fla. late Saturday afternoon, the true believers in the crowd in front of him cheering him on and agreeing with everything he said, even when he was talking about some incident in Sweden that sounds like it may have been the most devastating terrorist attack since the last one Kellyanne Conway pulled from thin air.

This was Trump at his best - or worst, depending on your point of view - still running as hard as ever, having told the pool reporters on the short plane ride from West Palm Beach to Melbourne that everything is a campaign with him because, let's face it, it is a lot more fun than actually having to govern, doing more than telling people you are going to do what you promised them you would do.

Really, more than anything else, this was the real beginning of President Day Weekend for him. President, singular. Him. What are any of us doing to make him think otherwise?

But the problem, even a month into this for Trump, no matter how much he is still carried along by the roar of the crowd in the hangars and arenas that will always be his safe places, is that he eventually will have to become more than the President of them. He will eventually have to be more than the men and women wearing their Trump hats and carrying their Trump signs and yelling at the reporters. These are the same kind of yes-men and yes-women around whom he was surrounded himself.

It's reached the point that you hope for somebody to be what a wise old baseball man named Gabe Paul used to be with Trump's pal George Steinbrenner, when Steinbrenner ran the Yankees in the same blustery Barnum way that Trump wants to run America.

"My job was saying no to George," Paul said one time in the old days at Yankee Stadium.

Trying to find somebody to take Michael Flynn's old job as National Security Advisor isn't nearly as intoxicating as looking to mix it up with the media, Lupica says.

(Carlos Barria /REUTERS)

Filling up government jobs, or just trying to find somebody to take Michael Flynn's old job as National Security Advisor, isn't nearly as intoxicating as looking to mix it up with the media the way he mixed it up with all the other Republican contenders, with Lyin' Ted and Little Marco and Low-Energy Jeb, and then finally with Crooked Hillary. Now, of course, it is the Dishonest Media and Fake News, all those he wants his base to think are peddling lies about him as if peddling drugs in a school yard, as his fanboys in the bullhorn media, his media, tell you that people trust him way more than they do the media.

But at some point he has to be more than the President of 39% of the people, or 40%, whatever it is, that legitimate polls say approve of the job he has done since he was sworn in on Jan. 20. It was Jan. 20 of 2017, by the way, even though sometimes it seems that he has already been President longer than FDR was.

At some point you hope that he will figure out that as much as he seems to thrive on chaos, the reasonable precincts in this country, the ones not filled with the people with the hats and with the signs, sure do not.

These are the people who, truly, must believe that the calls that Flynn made to Russia made themselves, and that even though Flynn ended up losing his job because of those phone calls - seriously, if the leaks are real and the news is fake in President Trump's America, is the news about the leaks fake or real? - Flynn is still the kind of great American who once would have planted the flag at Iwo Jima.

And if you even attempt to call BS on any of this, then you are a dishonest enemy of the people, because in the view of this White House, and flacks like Reince Priebus and Sean Spicer (ask yourself: Would anybody pick either one of these guys in a Washington, D.C. fantasy draft?), the media is now almost as big a threat to the American people as ISIS.

Trump, who's surrounded himself with yes-men and -women, needs a no-person.

(Joe Raedle/Getty Images)

I asked Pete Hamill about all this on Saturday, Hamill being somebody who both honored the newspaper business and honored the media from the time he began writing for the old New York Post in 1960. Hamill: Who did such amazing reporting and writing from Vietnam once. Pete Hamill: Who was there in Los Angeles the night his friend Robert F.

Kennedy was assassinated by Sirhan Sirhan in 1968.

I asked Pete about him and Jimmy Breslin and other giants being enemies of the people in this country.

"We sure went to a lot of places where we never saw Emperor Donald," Hamill said. "And actually helped people, one at a time."

Helping people is the job now, not already running to keep the job, on a holiday he thinks is President Day weekend, singular. He talked a good game at the airplane hangar in Florida. He can still work that room and talk to his people.

When does he start talking to the rest of us?

Trump under fire for 'making up' Swedish terror attack at Florida rally - Duration: 3:10.

'What has he been smoking?': Former Swedish Prime Minister blasts Trump after president uses 'made up' example of terror attack in Sweden to support his 'Muslim' travel ban

The Trump Administration is under fire yet again after apparently 'making up' a terror attack that never took place.

PHOTO: President Donald Trump speaks during a campaign rally at the AeroMod International hangar at Orlando Melbourne International Airport on February 18, 2017

During his Florida rally last night, Donald Trump made reference to an attack in Sweden that supposedly occurred on the previous night.

'You look at what's happening in Germany, you look at what's happening last night in Sweden,' he said.

PHOTO: Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt sent out a tweet questioning Trump's remark

'Sweden. Who would believe this? Sweden,' he added. 'They took in large numbers. They're having problems like they never thought possible.'

Trump's remarks came as he vowed to protect the US borders while addressing supporters at his campaign-style rally in an aircraft hangar at Orlando-Melbourne International Airport

But social media users were left puzzled after the president's comments, including Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt, who quickly pointed out there was no such attack.

PHOTO: Trump alluded to an apparent nonexistent attack on Sweden as he addressed supporters during a campaign-style rally in Orlando-Melbourne International Airport on Saturday

Sweden? Terror attack? What has he been smoking? Questions abound,' Bildt said in a tweet. It has since been liked 10,000 times. Trump went on to allude to previous attacks in Europe.

'You look at what's happening in Brussels. You look at what's happening all over the world,' he said. 'Take a look at Nice. Take a look at Paris,' he said as he promised to keep the 'country safe.'

Trump's remarks were quickly ridiculed by Twitter users including Chelsea Clinton. 'What happened in Sweden Friday night? Did they catch the Bowling Green Massacre perpetrators?' she said while also mocking Kellyanne Conway's interview gaff last month.

The former first daughter had previously slammed the president's adviser after Conway referred to the nonexistent massacre.

A Swedish librarian, who was using Sweden's official Twitter account sent out a tweet saying: 'No. Nothing has happened here in Sweden. There has not [been] any terrorist attacks here. At all. The main news right now is about Melfest.'

The woman suggested Trump's remark was likely to have been based on a Fox News interview between host Tucker Carlson and documentary filmmaker Ami Horowitz which aired the night before.

Horowitz spoke about his recent film which explores the seemingly increasing crime rates in Sweden as a result of the country's open-door policy.

PHOTO: A Swedish librarian, who was using Sweden's official Twitter account sent out a tweet debunking Trump's comments

The country has let in 200,000 refugees as migrants fled their war-torn countries during the summer in 2015,Huffington Post reported.

This would be the third time the Trump Administration has been accused of referencing to fictitious terror attacks. Senior adviser Kellyanne Conway infamously made note of the nonexistent 'Bowling Green Massacre' during an interview with Chris Matthews last month.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer referred to an 'Atlanta attack' earlier this month, but later corrected himself saying he had meant to say Orlando.

Bill Gates calls for 'robot tax' to slow rate of automation - Duration: 3:52.

Bill Gates calls for 'robot tax' on machines that replace human labor in a bid to slow down automation

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates thinks governments should tax robots that replace human labor as a means of slowing down the spread of automation.

The world's richest man says that a 'robot tax' could be used to generate revenue that would finance re-training people for jobs that only humans could do, according to Quartz.

These jobs include taking care of the elderly and teaching kids in schools.

PHOTO: Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates (above) thinks governments should tax robots that replace human labor as a means of slowing down the spread of automation

'You ought to be willing to raise the tax level and even slow down the speed' of automation, says Gates.

The rate at which robots will replace human labor is likely to accelerate in the next 20 years, according to Gates.

'Right now, the human worker who does, say, $50,000 worth of work in a factory, that income is taxed and you get income tax, social security tax, all those things,' he says. 'If a robot comes in to do the same thing, you'd think that we'd tax the robot at a similar level.'

'And what the world wants is to take this opportunity to make all the goods and services we have today, and free up labor, let us do a better job of reaching out to the elderly, having smaller class sizes, helping kids with special needs.'

'You know, all of those are things where human empathy and understanding are still very, very unique. And we still deal with an immense shortage of people to help out there.

A recent study by Oxford University estimates that 47 percent of American jobs could be automated within the next 20 years, according to Wired.

Gates says that the increased productivity and the money saved by reduced labor costs means that taxing robots may be the only way to save jobs.

'There are many ways to take that extra productivity and generate more taxes,' Gates says. 'Exactly how you'd do it, measure it, you know, it's interesting for people to start talking about now. Some of it can come on the profits that are generated by the labor-saving efficiency there. Some of it can come directly in some type of robot tax.

'I don't think the robot companies are going to be outraged that there might be a tax. It's OK.' Gates says that the government – not the private sector – is the only one capable of carrying out such a plan.

'If you want to do [something about] inequity, a lot of the excess labor is going to need to go help the people who have lower incomes,' he says.

'And so it means that you can amp up social services for old people and handicapped people and you can take the education sector and put more labor in there.' 'Yes, some of it will go to, "Hey, we'll be richer and people will buy more things".'

'But the inequity-solving part, absolutely government's got a big role to play there. The nice thing about taxation though, is that it really separates the issue: "OK, so that gives you the resources, now how do you want to deploy it?"'

EU REJECTS ROBOT TAX European lawmakers called on Thursday for EU-wide legislation to regulate the rise of robots, including an ethical framework for their development and deployment and the establishment of liability for the actions of robots including self-driving cars.

PHOTO: Passengers look at a police robot at Zhengzhou East Railway Station on February 15, 2017. The robot can do the cleaning, monitor the air quality, find fire, and recognize passengers' faces. In 20 years, almost half of US jobs could be automated, according to recent Oxford study

But they rejected a proposal to impose a so-called robot tax on owners to fund support for or retraining of workers put out of a job by robots.

The resolution is a recommendation to the bloc's executive, the European Commission, which the Commission is not obliged to follow but must give reasons if it chooses not to.

'The EU needs to take the lead on setting these standards, so as not to be forced to follow those set by third countries,' the parliament said in a statement.

The decision to reject the robot tax was hailed by the robotics industry, which says it would stunt innovation.

'The IFR believes that the idea to introduce a robot tax would have had a very negative impact on competitiveness and employment,' said the Frankfurt-based International Federation of Robotics.

The IFR and others argue that automation and the use of robots create new jobs by increasing productivity, and point to a correlation between robot density and employment in advanced industrial nations, for example in the German car industry.

Global shipments of industrial robots rose 15 percent in 2015, according to the latest statistics from the IFR, and were worth a total of about $46billion. Demand for service robots for medical, domestic and personal use is also on the rise.

The parliamentary resolution on the amended report was passed by 396 votes to 123, with 85 abstentions.

The report's author, MEP Mady Delvaux, said she was disappointed that lawmakers 'refused to take account of possible negative consequences on the job market.' 'They rejected an open-minded and forward-looking debate and thus disregarded the concerns of our citizens,' she said Reuters

Hi this is Eddy today i want to tell you about a nifty body hack for improved performance

Shall we begin? This body hack involves your brain

i need this picture for the thumbnail,

sorry ok I think i got it your brain can be considered as a CPU in a lap top or a computer

and when it gets hot it needs some cooling...

Same goes with your brain! Let's take it from this angle ok?

ok. The normal body temrature is this: 37 degrees celsius or 98.6 degrees fahrenheit.

The brain works optimaly a little below this temrature.

Researchers don't agree on which exact temprature, but there is a consent that cooler enviroments

contribute to better cognitive performance so next time you feel a little bit tired or

out of focus, find the nearest tap or faucet and cool your head.

You can test it immidiately after watching this video.

AFTER!

There are 2 kinds of people on the whiteboard:

The cool headed guy and the hot headed guy

we can imagine how they conduct themselves, how they react and think, there is a reason

why the cool headed guy is so smooth and bright and maybe it's related to just keeping his

head cool...

Test this and write the result in the comments below!

Like and Subscribe!

Test it in the shower when all your body is warm, isolate just the head and wash it with cold

water.

Daudt Believes This Is The Year For Sunday Liquor Sales - Duration: 4:19.

IT COMES UP JUST ABOUT

EVERY YEAR IN THE MINNESOTA

LEGISLATURE, A BILL THAT WOULD

ALLOW SUNDAY LIQUOR SALES IN

MINNESOTA, AND EVERY YEAR IT

GOES DOWN TO DEFEAT OFTEN NOT

MAKING IT OUT OF KEY

COMMITTEES.

SUPPORTERS SAY THIS YEAR IS

DIFFERENT AND A CRITICAL VOTE

IS EXPECTED AS SOON AS

TOMORROW.

THIS YEAR, THE BILL IN THE

HOUSE HAS A POWERFUL COSPONSOR,

THE MINNESOTA HOUSE SPEAKER,

KURT DAUDT.

MR. SPEAKER, THANK YOU SO MUCH

FOR COMING IN.

GOOD MORNING, AND THANK YOU

FOR HAVING ME.

I WANT TO ASK YOU, BECAUSE

YOU ARE AMONGST THE MOST

PROMINENT REPUBLICANS IN THE

STATE OF MINNESOTA, YOUR

THOUGHTS ABOUT PRESIDENT TRUMP

AND HOW HE'S DOING.

WELL, YOU KNOW, I THINK THE

FOLKS THAT DIDN'T VOTE FOR HIM

ARE PROBABLY NOT HAPPY WITH

HIM, AND THEY'RE GOING TO

CONTINUE TO PROTEST AND THAT'S

OKAY.

THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO THAT,

BUT ULTIMATELY I THINK

PRESIDENT TRUMP IS DOING WHAT

HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO.

MAYBE HE DOESN'T CARRY IT OUT

EXACTLY THE WAY WE WOULD LIKE

OR COMMUNICATE IT IN THE BEST

FASHION BUT ULTIMATELY WHAT

HE'S TRYING TO DO IS KEEP

MINNESOTANS SAFE AND AMERICANS

SAFE AND I GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR

THAT.

YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY THE

SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE, IT'S

PRETTY UNUSUAL TO HAVE A

SPEAKER THROW HIS WEIGHT BEHIND

A BILL LIKE THIS.

YOU'RE ONE OF THE COSPONSORS IN

THE HOUSE, WHY DID YOU DO IT,

AND DO YOU THINK IT COULD PASS

THIS YEAR.

REPRESENTATIVE JENNIFER

ALONE IS THE CHIEF OFFICER, AND

SHE HAS CARRIED THE BILL FOR

THE LAST FOUR YEARS.

WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET

THIS BILL OUT OF COMMITTEE AND

ON THE HOUSE FLOOR IN THE PASS.

IN THE PAST IT'S BEEN ADDED AS

AN AMENDMENT ON THE FLOOR.

WE THINK THE REASON IT'S

CATCHING STEAM THIS YEAR IS

THERE'S A BROAD GRASS ROOTS

SUPPORT FOR IT, AND THAT

PRESSURE HAS BEEN GROWING AT

THE CAPITOL IN RECENTLY YEARS

-- RECENT YEARS, SO I THINK

THIS IS THE YEAR.

YOU THINK IT COULD PASS

TOMORROW, THERE'S A VOTE.

WE BELIEVE SO.

WE'RE GOING TO VOTE TOMORROW AT

3:30.

WE BELIEVE THE VOTES ARE THERE.

MEMBERS HAVE SPOKEN UP AND SAID

THEY'RE GOING TO VOTE FOR IT.

WE BELIEVE IT WILL BE 72 TO 75

VOTES.

IT TAKES 68 68 TO PASS THE

BILLMENT WE'RE CONFIDENT IT

WILL PASS.

THE GOVERNOR SAID IF IT GETS

TO HIS DESK HE'LL SIGN IT.

BUT THE MINNESOTA SENATE, ARE

THEY ON BOARD WITH THIS.

WE DON'T KNOW WHETHER THE

VOTES ARE THERE.

ONCE WE PASS IT AND SEND IT TO

THE SENATE, IT WILL NEED TO

PASS THERE AS WELL.

I THINK FOLKS WILL RATCHET UP

THE PRESSURE AND CALL THEIR

SENATORS AND IF ENOUGH PEOPLE

WANT IT, AND CONTACT THEM, WE

THINK IT WILL PASS THERE AS

WELL!

AND OTHER ISSUES, BUT I WANT TO

ASK YOU, IT'S THE LITTLE GUYS,

THE MOM AND POP LIQUOR STORES

THAT ARE UPSET ABOUT THIS

BECAUSE THEY SAY THEY'RE GOING

TO SELL THE SAME AMOUNT OF

LIQUOR ON 7 DAYS AND THEY HAVE

TO PAY STAFF FOR 7 DATES.

DATA SHOWS THEY HAVE SEEN AN

INCREASE IN SALES, WE

UNDERSTAND THAT PERSPECTIVE,

AND WE KNOW SUNDAY IS A FAIRLY

BUSY DAY FOR SHOPPING.

FOLKS ARE WORKING DURING THE

WEEK AND IT'S ONE OF THE

BUSIEST DAYS FOR GROCERY

SHOPPING AND IF THEY WANT TO BE

OPEN SIX DAYS, MAYBE THEY CAN

CHOOSE ANOTHER DAY TO BE OPEN.

THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE OPEN ON

SUNDAY.

WE RESPECT THAT AS WELL.

WE WANT FOR THE STORES THAT

WANT TO BE OPEN, WE WANT TO

GIVE THEM THAT FLEXIBILITY.

JUST ON THE LARGER PICTURE,

HOW IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH

THE GOVERNOR.

LET ME ASK THAT BECAUSE IT

CERTAINLY HAS BEEN FRACTURED AT

TIMES.

IT WAS LATE LAST YEAR.

THE GOVERNOR AND I ULTIMATELY

RESPECT EACH OTHER AND GET

ALONG WELL.

I WOULD SAY IT'S GOOD RIGHT

NOW, AND I THINK WE UNDERSTAND

THAT IF WE BOTH CARE ABOUT

MINNESOTANS AND WANT TO SOLVE

PROBLEMS, WE HAVE TO WORK

TOGETHER TO GET THAT DONE, AND

WE MAY DISAGREE FROM TIME TO

TIME BUT ULTIMATELY I THINK WE

HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP.

WILL THINGS GET DOWN.

CAN YOU AVOID A SPECIAL SESSION

AND GET THINGS DONE YOU

COULDN'T GET DONE LAST YEAR.

WE FEEL LIKE IT.

I REMEMBER THE LAST TIME THERE

WAS A GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN, WE

WERE IN A 5 OR $6 BILLION

DEFICIT.

A $1.4 BILLION SURPLUS.

I THINK THAT WOULD IMPROVE IN

THE FEBRUARY FORECAST.

I'M OPTIMISTIC ABOUT US HAVING

THE ABILITY TO GET THINGS DONE

AND TO MAKE COMPROMISE AND

AGREEMENT TO DO WHAT'S BEST FOR

MINNESOTANS, WE HAVE PUSHED UP

THE DEADLINES EARLIER SO OUR

BILLS ARE GOING TO BE PASSED

OUT OF COMMITTEE, WHICH WILL

GIVE MORE TIME TO WORK WITH THE

GOVERNOR.

NO LAST MINUTE MIDNIGHT

CRUNCH.

WE'RE HOPING NOT.

REGARDLESS OF WHO'S IN CONTROL

OF THE LEGISLATURE FOR 20

YEARS, THERE'S ALWAYS BEEN A

FINAL MIDNIGHT CRUNCH.

CONGRESS IN WASHINGTON DOESN'T

HAVE A FINAL DEADLINE, AND IT

SEEMS LIKE THEY NEVER GET

THINGS DONE.

THERE ARE DOWNSIDES TO IT, BUT

ALSO A BENEFIT TO HAVING A

FINAL DEADLINE.

WE'RE GOING TO TRY TO AVOID
