Hi! English has only 26 letters but there
are so many strange sounds in English.
Some of those are in words that have "th"
and make the "Thhh" sound you have to stick
your tongue between your teeth and kind
of spit out. This is a very different
mouth shape that in many languages so I
decided I'd write a song with many of
these "th" words in it. If you can sing the
song or just look at the words in the
song it'll help you practice this sound
that's different in your language
here's my song - it's about a birthday
"Thank you Mother
Thank you brother, faithful through thick
and thin
Thursday is my birthday
a thrilling party we'll be in
This year I pledge no more filthy athletic clothing on the bath room floor!
So thank you brother, thank you Mother
thank you for my birthday
thank you for my birthday
thank you brother, Mother I thank you!"
It's just a silly song but it has many
of those "th" words that are pronounced in
English if you practice that your
English will sound more natural and more
fluid. You can see the book I wrote - it's
all about some of the most common
mistakes that Asian speakers make in
pronunciation and usage in English. If
you can learn to not make those the
mistakes your English will go from a high
school level or university level to high
class business English. Thanks for
watching and please look at the book and
Please subscribe to these videos so I
can help you more
Thank you very much, thank you, thank you,
thank you!
