So cascara is the skin of the coffee cherry.
When you actually look at the coffee cherry in a whole, you have the skin and then inside is the beans, which is roasted.
Cascara is typically discarded, it's a byproduct.
In the past, we just as coffee producers, we would use it as fertilizer. And some mills use it as fuel for their energy. So this is the first time we're actually using it as something other than fertilizer.
Cascara has been seen in teas, syrups, sodas.
Beer. People have infused vodka with it. So a lot of different uses for it, for sure.
We always are looking for new ways to complement our espressos, and this just felt like a great way to bring in some subtly sweet notes and really do the whole coffee story full circle.
Starbucks to me has always been such a great company in the sense that the way you've educated the consumers and no matter where you are in an industry of coffee. I mean we owe a lot to Starbucks.
And then for you to do something with cascara, I mean, that's bringing it to even more consumers and educating more consumers and getting it out there.
The fact that we're using the resources of something that would normally be thrown away, using that to actually create this beautiful beverage with a syrup, is just very inspiring.

Parents, We Are the Ground Crew of the Awakening.
A technique to help our children feel their own Super Powers!
As the parents bringing forth and raising the children that will be living on and helping
create the New Earth, we are the �ground crew� so to speak.
We are here to help them recognize their full potential and remind them of what they are
capable of.
My oldest son went through a several year phase in his life where he was literally obsessed
with super heroes.
Batman, Captain America, Superman, you name it, he went through them all.
Having a vivid imagination, he could lose himself in fantasies for hours.
But one thing that I noticed was with the end of almost every game would come the hopeless
sigh, �I wish I could be like that.�
Because that�s how all of the super hero stories are set up.
There�s usually only one super-hero per story line and they are usually the result
of some freak accident or are just lucky enough to be born that way (or rich enough to buy
the cool suits).
The rest of the population is helpless and always requires saving from the powerful super
villain who plans on killing everyone and destroying the planet.
It used to annoy me how disempowered these stories would leave him feeling after the
excitement of playing the game had worn off.
I�m all for kids playing and using their imaginations, but I don�t support this helpless
human image that Hollywood creates.
Luke Skywalker and the �Jedi way� are a refreshing break from the over-stimulating,
buildings blowing-up, people in peril that consumes all other super hero movies these
days.
How refreshing that Star Wars brought out the idea that �the force� is within all
of us, all of life is in balance, and we cannot give in to anger and �the dark side,�
because �the light� is stronger always wins.
As someone trained in Reiki, I am comfortable with energy work and feeling the pulse of
the Universe flowing through my hands.
I have taught my children to feel this energy within their hands as well.
I am fascinated how easily this all happens for our children, and how fine-tuned it is
for them.
Where as adults we go through training and attunements, for our children it is right
there and at full frequency!
-This technique is simply reminding your child of what it already within them, waiting to
be expressed.
-I teach my children to �ground� their energies daily, and it is a good idea to make
sure to ground before trying this as well.
Simply have them imagine themselves as a tree, sending their roots down deep into the centre,
the heart of Mother Earth.
This is a loving, peaceful place and provides calm.
How to Build an Energy Ball
Try it with them�
Each of you can hold your hands together.
Now imagine a ball of energy forming between your palms.
You can close your eyes or keep them open, whatever you are comfortable with.
You will both start to feel your energy ball forming.
It might feel like a pulsing between your palms, or heat, or like little, tiny shocks.
Or something else entirely.
There are no wrong answers, as it is unique to each individual.
Some people will feel tingling in their fingers too, or even in their feet, as energy is flowing
all through you.
Now picture it.
What does it look like to you?
Share with your child.
Ask them.
Tell them that this ball is made of the love of the Universe, and it can do magical things.
It can make them feel calm when they are worried, or take away pain when they are hurt.
It can make them happy when they are sad.
Once you have both felt it and or seen your energy ball, slowly pull your palms apart,
just a little at first.
You want to still feel your energy ball there.
Once you are comfortable with it, you can play with it.
For some, it feels like taffy that keeps pulling their hands back together.
Others are aware of the pulsing.
It�s different for everyone, so have fun with it!
They can pass it from hand to hand, shrink it down, or grow it until it surrounds them.
After they have felt their energy ball, you can tell them that they can place it wherever
they like on their body, or they can send it to someone that�s far away, or they can
give it to you.
My kids use this technique when they are anxious or scared.
They will also place their energy ball on headaches, or on their tummies when they are
upset.
They will also help one another.
I have found that they have much more success healing themselves than if I do it for them.
This is also a great way for kids to protect and clear themselves from lower vibration
energies.
Just have them grow their energy ball and surround themselves in it.
They will feel strong and safe.
My children like to share their energy ball with their pets, send it to family members
that they are lonesome for, as well as offer it to Mother Earth to help her heal-and especially
endangered animals.
It is a beautiful, effective way for them to feel how powerful they are.
Suddenly, the world is magical, and it�s because of them!
The first time my son felt his energy ball glowing and pulsing in his hands, he exclaimed,
�mom!
I feel it!
I really feel it!
I�m magical!�
Children love this technique because it�s so tangible, so physical.
They can feel it, and if they are visual, they can see it.
But even if they can�t see or feel it clearly, they will sense it.
My son has since gotten over his super hero phase, and I have to say, I�m glad.
A new earth and the upliftment of humanity is happening through all of us recognizing
the power and the love that flows through us, as empowered, multi-dimensional beings.
Not helpless, waiting on someone to save us, humans.

The time we have all been waiting for has arrived, and we can now take off the training
wheels.
We are basking in the waves of energies of the magic of instant manifestation and creation.
Mastering magic through the use of the waves of light energy is the next step in our quest
for morphing into a 5d �New Earth� reality.
Magic is the ability to interpret, command, and transform the holographic projection of
your reality.
As we use the incoming waves of light to cleanse, revitalize, and move our consciousness from
a reality of denseness and control to one of light and freedom, we ascend by vibrating
out of one frequency into another.
The faster resonance frequency allows for more magical abilities, as the lower third
dimensional frequencies were locked out of this energy.
Intention and focus to what you want to create can attract that creational energy to you.
Waves of light are bathing the planet and as you attract this energy to you, you can
learn to mold it into creation and transformation through high energetic vibration and intention.
It is important to use magic for the highest good and never for power over others.
Every time magic has been used for control, civilizations have fallen, vibrations have
lowered, and the dark ages have carried waves of denseness across the Universe.
The power of magic will no longer be available to those who intend to use it for power and
control as Earth shifts out of the vibration that sustains that misuse.
My higher self gave me these eight steps to practicing light magic:

Know who you are and what you are capable of.
We are spirits having a human experience who have forgotten who we really are.
We have also forgotten that we have mastered the knowledge of the template for creation.
The mysteries of the Universe have been hidden from humanity for hundreds of thousands of
years.
Knowledge and wisdom are powerful, as they reduce fear of the unknown.
Get in touch with the Source of your power within and make that connection with your
higher self.
Learn all of the keys to magic from this Source.
Anchor into the planet and give thanks for being here.
Once grounded and connected to your higher self, expand your light more and more in to
your body.
2.
Believe and trust yourself.
One of the missing ingredients with the Law of Attraction is the belief that you can attract
energy to you that can be useful in your life.
Those who have been successful report that they have no doubts about their power.
You may want to read the book The Secret for more information.
Your imagination is the generator for magical experiences.
Learn to trust yourself and to trust that your imagination is real and is powerful.
3.
Practice.
Use your intention with the power of sovereignty and the vibration of truth.
Use words to cast your spells of light through affirmations and prayer.
By practicing various methods, you will find out what works best for you.
4.
Follow the Golden Rule.
Treat others as you would want to be treated.
As you practice magic, more light will come back to you exponentially every time you use
your light for the benefit of others.
Pursue righteousness and use magic in the highest and best good for all involved.
5.
Have Positive Ethics.
Before performing light magic (clearings, psychic readings, mediumship, etc.) on others,
ask for permission.
The Law of Free Will allows each person to make their own decisions in life, including
allowing contracts and situations that you may not be privy to.
Never wish ill upon another through intention or even thought.
The magic of the light is hundreds of times more powerful than magic of the dark.
Light always rules and can �undo� dark spells and curses.
Because of the Law of Attraction, what you put out will come right back to you.
If you are practicing dark or �black magic�, you have every right to call of the dark djinns
to help you change your reality, but there will be a price to pay in return.
For children and those who may not be capable of asking for help, connect with that person�s
higher self and ask if it is in their highest and best interest to receive your light magic.
6.
Gather your team of light magic angels.
If you follow the steps in this article to prepare for light magic, the Universe will
respond by the thousands with protection as well as magic angels to assist you but only
if you ask for it.
Call on Archangel Raziel, the keeper of secrets and the overseer of magic for assistance.

Offer gratitude to the Universe and Source for all magic creations.
Keeping your vibrational frequency high through gratitude will continue the stream of energy

matrix that manifests as a smoke screen or mirror in the holographic reality that can

that our higher selves and the light forces have created.
