Jeep Wrangler Barricade Extreme HD Stubby Front Bumper (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 6:41.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of Barricade

Extreme HD Stubby Front Bumper, fitting all 2007 and up JKs.

Today we're going to talk through the installation of this bumper which is a very simple, one

of out of three wrench install.

This will bolt directly in place of your factory front bumper and shouldn't take you more than

an hour to get installed.

You don't even have to relocate your vacuum pump, but we'll talk more about the installation

in just a second.

We're also going to talk through the construction and a few of the features of this bumper.

A stubby bumper is for those of you who are looking for that very aggressive off-road

look that a shortened front bumper can give you.

I really like the look of a short front bumper with a set of narrower flat fender flares

that taper in.

It gives that really, really aggressive style.

Another group of people looking for a stubby front bumper are those of you running a 36

or a 37-inch tire, who disconnect your sway bars off-road, do a lot of articulating, a

lot of flexing, and need that clearance between the tire and the front bumper.

When you get in that 36, 37-inch tire range, you can have some clearance with the front

bumper, and a stubby will clear all of that up.

This bumper along with being a stubby will still give you a ton of protection.

This is a very heavy duty steel.

It also has some features as far as the winch mounts, light mounts, bumper hoop.

This is a really nice package, and it's going to come in less expensive than some of the

other stubby bumpers on the market.

So I think that if you're looking for a stubby bumper, either because you like the look,

you need the function or both, I think this is a really nice option to take a look at.

This bumper's going to be made out of 3/16 inch steel, which is heavier material than

some of the other Barricade bumpers on the market.

This is still going to provide a ton of protection, a ton of strength for recoveries.

This is a stubby bumper that weighs in at 84 pounds so that just gives you an idea of

how much mass is here.

How much strength, how much weight is here in this bumper.

Of course, this is covered with the same textured black powder-coat finish that you would expect

from Barricade and a lot of the other after-market brands out there.

This is sort of the go-to finish.

It will match a lot of your other after-market parts.

It matches that factory black plastic accents that are already on your JK, and overall,

it's just a pretty good look in my opinion.

The powder coat is also going to do a nice job of resisting rust and corrosion, because,

after all, this is going to be a steel bumper.

As far as features go, this bumper has a lot of them.

The only thing this bumper doesn't have is factory fog light mounts, but you're going

to see that in a lot of stubby bumpers.

They just don't have the space for it, but, right up front, you do have two D-ring mounts

that are 3/4 inch wide, and these do come with the D-rings that are rated for 9,500

pounds each, which is just a nice feature.

You don't have to think about purchasing those separately.

These are going to come right in the box for you.

In the center here, you have a winch mount that's rated up to 12,000 pounds, and that

will fit most winches that are on the market.

It is drilled in a couple different locations, so it will accept anyone of the footprints

from any of the major brands out there.

Now, this winch mount is a little bit sunken down, which is a really nice look in my opinion.

It creates a really clean look, especially if you don't mount your solenoid box on top

of the winch you mount it somewhere else you mount it, under the hood maybe.

As a remote mount, it really just gives it so that only a small bit of the winch is popping

up over the bumper, and again, it's just a really clean, sort of, stealth look that I

personally really like.

You have your bumper hoop and some light mount tabs up here.

But the tabs are a little bit unique.

Instead of just being a traditional tab with a single hole in it that are sort of arbitrarily

spaced out for individual light pods, this is going to give you a spot for light pods,

but also is specifically designed for a 21.5 inch LED light bar.

So they're going to be spaced so that you get that 21.5-inch bar.

You are going to be able to bolt it right up.

You don't have to do any fabrication, any modifications like you would have to do to

get a light bar to fit on light mount tabs that are not designed for it.

This is designed for it.

So it's going to give you spots for that 21.5 inch light bar, and it also has spots for

pods.

So I mentioned before, it doesn't have factory fog light holes.

You have plenty of spots for auxiliary lighting with this bumper.

Installing an after-market bumper on your JK is going to almost always be a very easy

install, and this is no different.

This is a one out of three wrench install that you can get done in right about an hour

with just some traditional hand tools.

The first step is, of course, removing that factory front bumper from your JK, which you'll

do by removing the splash shield on the bottom if you're still running one.

Go ahead and remove the fog light sockets out of the fog light housings and unclip the

fog light wire harness, and then remove the eight nuts that are holding the factory bumper

in place, giving the bumper a pull.

Now, here's where you'll remove your frame cover.

That's the small piece of plastic that's up on top of the frame just in front of the grille.

Finally, it's just a matter of installing your new bumper.

You'll lift it onto the frame horns and using the included hardware, get it bolted down

tight.

Now if you are going to be installing a winch on this bumper, I would recommend bolting

the winch to the bumper on the ground, and then the bumper-winch combination to the Jeep

all as one piece.

Otherwise, it can be a little bit difficult to get to the winch grinding hardware.

Now as I said, this bumper itself weighs 84 pounds, you add a winch to that, that's going

a big, heavy mass that you're lifting up, so it will help to have an extra set of hands

around, especially if you're installing a winch.

But again, I do recommend doing it that way, because it's easier to get to that mounting

hardware.

So overall, again, about an hour.

Traditional hand tools.

Very easy install.

Anyone can do this in the driveway.

When you consider the build quality that you're getting with this bumper, as well as, all

of the features, I think it is worth every bit of the $400 you have to pay for it.

There are other stubby bumpers on the market that are going to be right around that $400

range, but of course, the stubby bumper has less material than a full-width or even a

mid-width, so generally, they're a little bit less expensive than those bumpers.

So the $400 range is fairly standard for a stubby bumper.

But you're not always going to see the strength, the build quality or the features that you

get in this bumper at that price range.

Usually, you have to step up a little bit.

So overall I think that this is a very fairly-priced bumper and one that I personally would run

on my JK.

So whether you're looking for a stubby front bumper just because you like the look, because

you need the functionality for tire clearance or both, I think this is going to be a very

well-built, very stout option that isn't overpriced and will install on your Jeep very easily.

So that's my review of the Barricade Extreme HD Stubby Front Bumper, fitting all 2007 and

up JK's that you can find right here at extremeterrian.com.

How-To: Pairing Crystals For Love - Duration: 2:17.

So it's February, and today we're going

to talk about pairing crystals for love.

When you pair crystals, they influence the energy of each other

and can amplify

energies to attract, into our life, the things that we need.

The crystals that we're going to be talking about today

are used for attracting love, healing love, amplifying love, embracing love.

The ultimate love stone is the Rose Quartz.

It's the stone of self love

and promoting self love.

Amethyst on its own is a great stone for healing,

so when you pair the Rose Quartz with the Amethyst

it amplifies the energy of any sort of healing of the heart

that needs to take place.

Love exists in many forms

not just romantic love,

so any sort of healing that your heart needs

this is a great combination for anyone that's experiencing

that sort of energy.

Jasper stone on its own is a great stone for protection.

It's a stone that creates a shield around you

to protect you from any sort of negative energy coming your way.

This is a really great combination to celebrate

the happiness of love.

The third combination that I'm going to pair

with the Rose Quartz is going to be our Clear Quartz stone.

What it does is magnify the energy

of any stone that it's paired with.

It's a great stone for cleansing

crystals, and bringing energy to any stone that it's next to

So when your pair this stone with the Rose Quartz

you're amplifying the energy of self love.

Rhodonite is the stone for the heart chakra.

It is the stone of love,

that activates, stimulates, and releases

any blocked energy of the heart chakra.

It promotes a calm and peaceful energy,

so this again similar to the combination

with the Rose Quartz and the Clear Quartz

is a combination that is used to embrace love,

clearing any negative energy from the heart chakra

so that you're able to accept any new love coming into your life.

Drawing Couples Ladybug and Cat Noir from Miraculous Ladybug (Tutorial) - Duration: 49:52.

hello and welcome welcome to the day's

livestream tutorial today we're going to

be drawing ladybug and cat noir from the

from the show a miraculous ladybug

so what I'm doing about with this poses

i'm at i'm doing an angle where r miss

ladybug is a flying through the sky

that's not enough for that flying i

meant to say was he was hanging around

to her

yo you know swimming around her you know

your similar to like like how spider-man

and cat noir is just being held are just

holding on to her waist just hanging on

by her waist and he's just flinging

around through the air so this is going

to be a cool for shortening video so

you'll be learning a little bit how to

do certain angles so I what are used for

reference for this drawing was that I

you like there are tons of images of

objects spider-man poses on google so

that's probably the best way you could

you yourself if you ever want to draw

people just flying through the air

similar to like like this that I think

the best source material is at least

spider-man you know so what I started

with is i started with the hand first

and then true the rest i started with

the square at an angle so that you would

see the thumb just above and then have

the string here move so much bigger like

exist like as if you're looking like the

cameras looking from the string is

moving down to the arm and everything

else gets slightly wider so from there

drew a circle and throw an actual

another circle underneath that circle to

add a bit of depth to this image later

on I'll be needing to thin out this arm

because me you know that this makes her

mixer floor forearm look a little too

muscular

so over here I made her shudder at the

top of the shoulder should extend a

little upward so that it covers a bit of

her face because that's where shoulders

do you know I'm just gonna maybe getting

this arm out a little bit so from here I

drew us a box at an angle and then for

the thighs i did another box underneath

that box but then I had the legs coming

up just having one leg in the front and

one leg coming from underneath there's

more than one way to do this anyway go

looks a little dirty here

the way that I just tend to thighs just

that you know it's fat up here around

the waist but then you sort of thin it

out when you get closer to the knee and

then the lower half of the thigh or i

should say the leg here

you spin it out and there you go and

just use a box for the foot and then now

you just have a hanging foot here

segment nose is running

ok ok

so I'm just going around sighs out here

but not make them to around because she

is only on what is it a teenager yes

like you know what she could be in

college but OMG she has a body type of

that of like a teenager so she's not

fully developed but she has some curves

here and there

and over here we are having her the

lower part of her leg show but I'm

having it smaller because obviously this

this right here is almost the closest to

us and the leg is at an angle i guess if

we did have if we had a focal point it'd

probably be down here right here right

below the water was so I guess this

would probably be the best way of

figuring it out

I guess another way that I could have

done the strong as directed the focal

point first potential everything around

it but well

ok now drawing cat noir arms around lady

miss lady bug looks waste forget a bit

if that's just her name or does

everybody actually get it has been a

while since I watched the series so I

forgot if they just call her lady bug or

just miss Li but or lady lady bugs down

like that

ok i'm using so i use the + here is a

plus on everyone's face that I get a

general idea about where the eyes nose

and mouth will be

ok

ok and then over here for this arm I'm

had doing the same thing with drawing

drawing two circles but I'm having one

circle go into the other circle is

foreshortening effect

ok

ok

ok so the way i did kat noir is i just

made a little box i just have that box

with the legs just fling it all over the

place so i don't have to have the

muscles here to define because they're

just kids

so the just getting started with their

muscles so even though they weren't

super tight their outfits are super

tight and their define of their shape

still you can barely tell any muscle on

them

ok and we got his pants we're going to

add on his belt

wait where is doubts

ok so it seems the big his tail is

underneath his belt

ok and now here we're just adding his

little was it a staff or something

his staff and just a bit of a couple of

squares here so that we see the he's got

these little gadgets here and there then

we're adding a bit of his back

ok now we're going to add this little

one is called years yes

his nose and map knows a nice before I

add add on his hair

ok

ok now we're going to start adding his

hair just have it free flowing all over

the place

ok now we're gonna go back and do it too

let's do some more touch up on this

ladybug here then at her arms a little

so so I'm doing all we can

ok so what one thing a little bit of a

tip here is like four girls chest it

always seems like the chest area always

leads up like just to like the armpit

here

ok fix this so you can see better seat

works great just like it just wraps

around we just makes up the armpits here

maybe I'll shrink down her head a little

bit okay and then we're having the

shoulder and have a bit collarbone here

now look at that we got neck

go on

okie dokie not your first fix the arm

ok

I've always an angle there's like update

of like what what what is this section

here is like right under the armpit he's

like a bit of back that just shown ok

and now we're just going to go ahead and

fix the hand here

spitting it out

oh wait maybe a shared there we go that

looks better

squaring make the fingers go all the way

ok now I'm going to add on her face

first start with the mask

okay then we're gonna have two years

here is it gonna be place right under

the line that we placed for around need

where the eyes should be we make the

hair little bigger

ok have some hair and covering over her

mask and now we're going to add a bit of

four pigtails

no it's not a big deal so what is it

called just a two-sided ponytail

ok

thanks for going down for that hand back

here just going to do a simple fist

ok I think we're good

wait i forgot to the finest fingers here

okay wait let me check to see if I

forgot he's got look at that kind of

ours got these little cuffs on his hands

ok so

oh I'll get to start yanking out the

strong out with my dick tip sharpie

yeah since now that we're just gonna

going through like the inking process

for free to leave a comment let me know

like you have a favorite character do

you think this is here you know at the

night

give it up excuse me i meant to say is

this

I mean it's been overly hinted in the

show you know that these two might

become a couple you know it's it's so

obvious and that it's probably gonna

happen and I'd probably who knows like

it was so different a lot of speculation

about like who the villain is it might

be catty noir father whatever we know

that we like an interesting twist

like with any other ships or couples

from the city from the series that you

think that that might have some

potential in the future for free to

leave a leave a comment below below this

video or during the live stream and let

me know let me pull it up

ok now that I have the live stream up

you can your free use of you are free to

let me know if there are any other ships

relationships out there from the series

that you think would be interesting to

see

oh yeah I decided to run out of shoes

just that it would make sense

you know I think at least Im didn't look

flat

ok so what we're going to do now is I'm

going to switch it over to my thin tip

sharpie and do the finer details

ok now it's working

ok now i got that fast up and started

racing so we can see what we haven't

finished

ok now we can see connect these two

ok so I'm going to do is I'm going to

add ladybugs some how get out of

whatever just putting them in random

spots

having them spaced out so that you know

they're not to notice that to all over

the place

ok

then we move on over maybe add a few to

the hands here

ok we're going to add a bit of hair

texture

man's camera mines really been chillin

all over the place i'll probably have

that fixed by next video

I'm gonna I think I'm going to fill in

the black here is the circles that I

just made

wait you know if I'm gonna move gonna

use the big one the big markers to sell

these in there we go

ok

not which they do with cat noir because

like his outfit is you know just one big

black dark color so what should do I

mean I don't want to like clash in or

blend with the dots that I've already

drawn so I guess what i can do is have a

bit of white space here and there

well maybe not

maybe I just leave it as it is just to

avoid confusion or no wait no no no I

thought okay here's a better idea i just

use very thin lines that were he has

some toning but it won't be confused for

a complete black tone with the DA stay

just you are now at ladybug

and keeping these lines as close to each

other as possible

I'm having these lines curved so that

they give some dimension to cat Noirs

body is like drawing lines four-cylinder

for his legs

as you can see i change the directions

of solar Alliance car

I don't want them to be confused for

legs like during his legs I made them

curved but during the shoes i kept them

straight and going in a different

direction but then for the bottom shoes

i went back in a similar direction so

that way there's a bit of break

oh i forgot to do her into a couple of

dots around the mask as well

okie have returning here on the mask as

well

ok and then I'll add do some hair toning

ok

mm oh-oh I completely forgot this

section here this tale

I think I'll do the cross-hatching here

on just only the pant leg

and maybe a little bit on the stomach as

well

little bit on the tail here

I guess helps to make a bit of a break

in between all this lines that way your

I see that there's a bit of shadow and

then you see that you know like this

tell us it's all those thing that's why

it's good to that's why I that's why

little stupid that's why it's good to

have two different thickness in lines

you know the outliner stick but these

the lines that amusing for toning i'm

using this tension sharpie to the toning

and then I have some of these lines

moving in complete different directions

you think I had a bit of turning sheer

on the leg by

I'm just adding those there to help to

find the muscle in a bit of like shadows

there

ok you want just a little bit something

here something for the background so it

looks like there's a ground they're high

in the sky or something

ok

I think I'll just leave it at that oh no

wait i forgot to do this

it's a little trickier I actually

learned from like while reading though

that among the one-piece loot the among

creator used to do these little lines

right on Lucas arm to give this like

sort of weird foreshortening effect or

like start small and then it gets bigger

as it gets closer to the viewer

ok I'll leave it at this

I hope you enjoyed this is drawing

tutorial leave a like if you enjoyed it

Tips for Welding Success - Advice for Students - Duration: 4:32.

What really branches you to be, I guess,

the best of the best and a success story past skills?

What takes it in that little ball of skill-set to really emphasize it?

Well I think it's the lifestyle that you choose to live.

It's the person that is not going to make an excuse.

It's someone that's going to show up

and put his whole heart effort into it.

The successes of being able to show up

and do their job and learn a craft and learn a skill.

It's not necessarily being the best student grade-wise,

it's about coming in and putting 110% effort all the time;

showing up, doing a good job, being able to be honest,

be efficient, and be able to do what you say you're going to do.

Well to do well in these classes, I highly recommend showing up on time,

getting in as much practical practice as you can.

If you get the opportunity to work, work!

Because you're only going to hurt yourself

if you don't put in the time.

I would ask questions. I've had a lot of help

from the other students in class, as well as people

who have been through the program already.

One very, very big thing that Ryan and I expect

is that you have to be an independent,

a free thinker and motivated. Self-motivated.

And if you're not, we can help you with that

and I think everybody has that,

and it's essential that you have those skills

beyond just the welding and the academics.

But really you've got to be self-motivated and be self-inspiring.

Well you know Jesse, that's what most people call soft skills.

And a lot of people think those are somebody

that you either have or you don't have.

Well everybody has it, we just try to expose you

on how you become better with those soft skills.

Communication is huge, especially when you're working with people.

You not only have to deal with everybody

but you're going to deal with people that you don't like,

but you still have to work with them to get the job done.

So it's putting your differences aside to get the job done.

Meet a mentor. A mentor like Ryan Eubank, who was mine.

Ryan really, really emphasized the work ethic, the skills.

You're going to learn how to have a work ethic.

You're going to learn that it's going to be dirty,

that it's going to be a little hard, but you know what?

It's going to pay out extremely well for you in the next few years.

It gives you kind of a sense of purpose.

You know what's expected of you.

You come in and you do the work.

I find a great level of pride and satisfaction in the work

and the friends that I've had through the program have had the same.

They're happier, they're making the money they want to make.

They know what's expected of them and they're doing what they enjoy doing.

What we're looking for is those top ten percenters.

Those individuals that want to come to school everyday.

They're eager to learn. They're eager to learn a skilled trade,

getting into the skilled trade to be able to produce

an income that can support their family for the rest of their lives.

If they come in and they show up and they do a great job, everyday,

they can become successful in this particular field.

Everything is on a personal level to where

if you want to get a job, get a better job

you have to develop yourself.

You can't expect someone to push you into a better position.

All I had was my sense of pride and my work ethic

that would keep me there.

But if you go in and you work

and you put your heart into it, then I mean

you're going to go anywhere. You can do anything.

Well the welding field is not going away.

It's only getting stronger.

The demand for the jobs and skilled workers

are better now than they've ever been.

AWS, the American Welding Society,

is projecting that there's going to be over a shortage of

250,000 welding jobs available in North America alone.

So if you're looking at getting into a career path, welding is it.

It's not going away, it's only getting better and it's needing you now.
