Getting Started with GoodNotes for iPad - Duration: 4:43.
Hi, my name is Gabriel and in this video
I will teach you everything you need to
get started with GoodNotes.
Let's create our first notebook by tapping
on the plus-button in the upper left. If
you want to use another paper template
or cover, just tap on one of the
thumbnails. Don't worry, you will still be
able to change the template later. For
now, I will continue with a plain paper.
Alright, let's choose a name for our first
notebook! I will simply call it "Notes".
Here we go. To go to the next page swipe
left with two fingers. If you use an
Apple Pencil, you can do it with one
finger. Above the page you can see the
toolbar. Select one of the tools in the
middle by tapping on it.
The pen is already selected here. Now you
can write your first words with your
finger or a stylus.
Here we go. Now let's
highlight the words we have just written.
Not a yellow, but in green instead. To
change the colors, tap on the selected
tool again.
Here we go.
The pen, the highlighter, the eraser and the
lasso tool all have additional settings
which you can try out later. Let's select
the lasso tool. It is a really powerful and
very helpful tool because it lets you
reorder things on the page, change the
color of your handwriting, resize objects
or convert handwritten words to typed
text. Draw a circle around something and
tap inside of the selection to bring up
the lasso tool menu.
Let's resize this!
That's large enough. Tap outside of the
selection to deselect it. Great, now we
already know how to use the basic tools.
Let's create a new page by simply
swiping to the left with two fingers.
Pull... and release!
There are a couple of modes that are
really helpful. Use the read-only mode, if
you want to read through your notebooks
comfortably. It will disable all other
finger-input and lets you navigate
between the pages easily with one finger.
To deactivated it, tap on one of the other
tools. The shape recognition mode lets
you draw perfect shapes like circles,
lines, or rectangles.
Don't forget to deactivate it, once you're done drawing
shapes by tapping on it again.
The zoom-window magnifies a part of the page
which is indicated by small blue area.
You can write in large letters in the new
window at the bottom and it will appear
in the according ratio on the page.
Once you have crossed the middle of the zoom-
window, a small blue area will appear on
the left side. It is corresponding to the
blue area which you can see on the page.
Continue writing in there and the zoom-
window will automatically move forward
which allows a smooth writing experience.
I can disable the zoom-window by tapping
on the icon again.
More options can be
accessed by tapping on the three small
dots in the upper right of the toolbar.
Here you can search for your handwriting
or export your pages to send an email
or to upload them to a cloud storage or
another app.
Opening the thumbnail view gives
you an overview of all the pages inside
of your notebook. Here you can reorder
pages or delete, copy, export or rotate
them by tapping "Edit".
Now let's go back
the library by tapping the back button.
Remember how we created our first notebook?
The plus button does not only let you do
this, but also lets you import PDF-, Word-,
or PowerPoint documents.
Tap import and
select the source.
Choose your document, and it will appear in your
library.
You can now use all the tools
that I already explained you in this
video.

Independent counsel files arrest warrant for Samsung heir apparent Lee Jae-yong - Duration: 2:08.
Turning our focus to the investigation into the massive corruption scandal gripping Korea.
An arrest warrant for Samsung's defacto leader has been requested yet again by the independent
counsel team.
The team is also expected to seek a 30-day extension to give itself more time to complete
the investigation.
Our Hwang Ho-jun brings us up to speed with the process.
After a marathon questioning session the day before, the independent counsel team has filed
an arrest warrant for Samsung heir apparent Lee Jae-yong.
In Tuesday's briefing, the counsel's spokesperson gave few details about the 15-hour-long session,
but he did say,...
"The independent counsel will round-up the interrogation results and decide whether to
re-request an arrest warrant within a day or two."
But the team announced its decision less than four hours later.
They had initially requested a warrant for Lee Jae-yong's arrest on charges of bribery,
embezzlement and perjury after his first questioning session about a month ago, but that was rejected
by the court.
And according to observers, that's most likely why the independent counsel team has been
extra cautious because if the second warrant request gets turned down, the probe would
be dealt a serious blow.
With time running out, the independent counsel also hopes to question President Park Geun-hye
herself, but the spokesperson did not answer questions about how it plans to proceed on
that front.
He did, however, confirm, that the team will need more time than it was initially given.
The independent counsel had recently been asked in writing by the main opposition Democratic
Party of Korea and the minor opposition People's Party... about its stance on a possible extension,
to which the spokesperson said the team had replied that one would indeed be necessary.
Exactly two weeks from Tuesday, the independent counsel's initial mandate for the investigation
expires.While it's still unclear whether it will seek -- or be granted -- a 30-day extension,
the team says it will continue to do its best, as a matter of principle, to get to the bottom
of the corruption scandal.

For Honor - Peacekeeper, Knights Hero Class - Beginner Tips, Combat Tutorial, Feats and Moveset - Duration: 5:58.
Hello and welcome to another for honor breakdown video, today we're gonna be looking at the
peacekeeper hero Class.
The peacekeeper belongs to the Knights, and knowing ubsioft they probably copied the model
from one of the assassins creed games.
You are also able to play but not customise the peacekeeper from the start, if you wish
to customise it will cost steel to unlock.
Classed as an assassin hero, its agile and a master of counter attacks.
Time to check out the peacekeeper feats.
Every hero has four tiers of feats available to them, each tier has 3 abilities that can
either be passive or activated by the directional pad.
You will have to forgive if some of the icons display incorrectly, beta is beta after all.
Remember that feats unlock in tiers, once a tier is fully unlocked you move on to the
next.
The first tier of feats has 3 passives The first feat is bounty hunter, this causes
your hero to regain some health and stamina when you kill another hero.
The 2nd feat is Conqueror, this allows you to capture and upgrade control zones faster
The 3rd and final feat in tier 1 is Stealth, a passive that hides you from the hud, radar
and aim assist.
The second tier of feats has 1 active and 2 passive abilities.
The 1st feat is Fiat Lux, this allows you to throw a flash grenade at an area temporarily
blinding your enemies.
Perfect for making a quick getaway.
The 2nd feat is Thick skin, a passive the gives you moderate damage reduction.
The 3rd and final feat in tier 2 revenge attacks, this passively causes your attacks to fill
the revenge meter.
The third tier of feats has 3 active abilities.
The 1st feat is Crossbow, allowing you to fire a bolt for medium damage
The 2nd feat is Pugno Mortis, allowing you to throw an explosive that deals moderate
damage in an area.
The 3rd and final feat in tier 3 is Sharpen blade, whilst active this causes attacks to
place a damage over time debuff on the enemy.
The 4th and final tier of feats has 1 passive and 2 active abilities.
The 1st feat is fear itself.
Whilst active nearby enemies have lower stamina regeneration and lower defences.
The 2nd feat is catapult, calls down a catapult strike over an area that deals massive damage,
beware this takes a moment land once fired.
The 3rd and final feat is Last laugh, a passive that drops a high damage grenade when you
die.
Time to check out the peacekeeper hero specific traits.
Renown and revenge mode appear to be available to all classes.
Defence Reflex causes your guard stance to only be active for a limited time, placing
a higher emphasis on timing your blocks.
Deflect is triggered by dodging in the direction of an attack just before impact, this manoeuvre
automatically guardbreaks the enemy.
Dagger cancel allows you to cancel any heavy attack during its start up with a light attack
that causes a bleed.
Stab cancel allows you to back away from the enemy by pressing x in between stabs
And your zone attack can be cancelled by pressing b after the first attack.
Lets check out the peacekeeper fighting style in action.
Swift and lethal, but strikes from short rage.
Use your high mobility to counter enemies and back away safely
When guard locked, activate your block by moving the right stick in the direction of
the incoming attack, timing is key as your blocks last a very short time.
This is your major drawback for being able to inflict such high damage.
The peacekeeper has 3 attack chains Twisting blades, two light attacks followed
by a heavy Dervish strikes, a light followed by a heavy
attack And sword dance, two heavy attacks in a row.
As always switch between guards to confuse your enemy
When surrounded press both light and heavy attack to perform a zone attack.
Whilst sprinting press x to perform a slipping lunge
Combine a front dodge with a heavy attack to perform a dashing thrust
Combine a sideways dodge and a heavy strike to counter your enemies attacks with a sidestep
strike.
Use a light attack after a heavy attack to surprise the enemy with a dagger cancel and
apply bleed Light attack up to 3 times after using a guardbreak
to stab the enemy and apply bleed If the stabs aren't timed correctly, you
will be thrown out of guardbreak, so timing is key
Combine your high mobility and multiple bleed attacks to put the pressure on your enemies
and keep them at bay Once you have a bleed ticking away, back away
until its expired and jump back in to re apply the bleed, slowly draining your enemies health
Light attack quickly after a heavy hit to follow up with a guaranteed dagger combo that
also applies bleed Dodge in the direction of an incoming attack
to perform a deflect Light attack quickly after a deflect for a
guaranteed riposting stab that applies bleed and also has an awesome animation
Press x during a heavy attack to cancel into a guardbreak and connect a stab
Press a during a heavy attack to cancel into a dodge to escape, connect a dashing thrust
or perform a sidestep strike Press x after a stab to back away from the
enemy Use this to surprise the enemy, reset combat
or to escape.
